In my opinion, Real Madrid is in the best position among the teams currently in La Liga. But they won the Champions League trophy a few days ago with few stars. Real Madrid already occupy the top position in the points table with the most points in La-Liga. They are capable of fighting any club but very hard.
Your point remains vaild if it only referred to last season. I mean we have lots of expectations from Barcelona in the coming season and and sunday 24th july been club friendlies between Barcelona and Real Madrid will give a glimpse of what we should be expecting from both club by next season.
