1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 04:17:35 AM
Simple answer here is that they believe in the value of bitcoin and they are confident that its value will keep soaring in the future. There are so many reasons to support their confidence like the supply and demand logic, positive opinion regarding bitcoin by majority of the world etc. I too share this same opinion. Grin
honestly i sometimes hate to hear people keep talking about value only in bitcoin. where actually there's a lot more benefit inside bitcoin invention , for example it's planned as the revolutionary money , revolutionary financial sytem that gives you completely freedom to hold and spend your money easily anywhere anytime with its blockchain technology. even though i admit that value are an important thing too. that's a promising investment when it comes to long period business.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: September 01, 2017, 04:11:28 AM
gambling taught me how to stay calm when faced with a problem and keep thinking with a cool head. when I losses in gambling, I also got a lesson on how to better appreciate money and time. and when i winning in gambling, there is a lesson there, about how to keep money and not wasteful.
at least it's gives you a lesson on how to be patient , enjoy the proccess and get the best result in the end. making rushed decision never give you anything good yeah , that's what you really can achieved when thinking about how the positive gambling impact to your life. but still overall gambling always get you in trouble , watch out!
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 31, 2017, 09:28:36 AM
I play gambling for pleasure, but I always hope to get some more profit. Still, they give hope for enrichment in an easy way, but everything depends only on luck.

Gambling for pleasure sometimes isn't enough. Aiming just to have fun in gambling isn't making me feel well, I'm not greedy though. But that's why I'm gambling and why I'm staying at casino's just to make sure that I'm having fun and at the same time taking out some profit for myself, so I'd go for both things, gambling for fun and for the profit.
I agree with you. Earning profit with gambling is actually the definition of fun in this world. However, I am not a gambler and I am proud of it but some of my friends gamble on daily basis. When I ask them such questions, most of them support profit not fun. But I have noticed, they enjoy it also that's why they try it every day.
actually we are all have different taste on treat gambling. few people whoo could really enjoy the game without care about win or lost the money . but mostly want to make money easily through gambling which could be the most mistake happened everytime. i personally yeah feel so joyful get the money from gambling and having fun because of it.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: August 31, 2017, 08:47:02 AM
I only gamble for fun, I like the adrenaline rush when I played the games, but if you gamble until you sacrifice your family and you put all of your fortune then it is not a good gambling behavior, it is almost point to addiction direction, if you can't control yourself then I won't suggest you to gamble at all, because it can lead you to something negative and it can lead to do criminal things
you would think that you could deal with the emotion and greedy in yourself at the first time before you get started , but when the game on you would act like you have planned nothing and just playing like a mad to stake everything even you have lost a lot. it's react spontaneously , no wonder people keep playing even they don't know why actually.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 31, 2017, 08:27:56 AM
Limit ourselves to gambling? I do not believe that anyone can do it. Because now maybe we can talk about the limits. But when we play. can we? Lust will bring us into the boundaries within our boundaries
I do not agree with you. Anyone can limit themselves in any situations. It's just a matter of self disciplined and self control. Everything in this world has a limit because too much is dangerous. I can proved it by myself because I have self disciplined. I can control my lust especially in gambling.
If someone is really composed and keeps their word with themselves or towards other people, I believe that person could set limits to himself but if someone is just going with the flow with no plan at all, probably that person would try to gain back what he or she lost because they can't accept it or something. That still depends on the person.
i'm not sure what are you trying to say , but it's just the matter of discipline only when you want to set certain limit to prevent you become greedy and lost a lot of money. i would like to say that those people who could really set up the limit and following what they have planned are the one who have a high level of discipline. not like me of course Cheesy .
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 31, 2017, 08:08:02 AM
If there is abundant btc available with me then for some of the btc I will sell it and lead a luxury lifestyle and fulfill some of those dreams. Few of them will convert to some altcoins and invest in good and upcoming ICO . Few will hold it as btc price is increasing and hold it till the crash starts.

Rest will sell as and when required to meet daily expenses and pay the monthly bills .

this is the ordinary mindset. let's think out of the box and be different . you would successful. do the opposite of what everyone else is doing and stand out! but keep being you. that's what the real billionaire doing. so when everyone think and interested to sell their bitcin , you better hold it a little longer and see what would happened.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: August 31, 2017, 07:57:29 AM
If i won i will use this money to start even a small business that i have a stable income and manage it nicely some of my winning money i will buy a house and lot for my family anf many more thats my dream
I have many plans if I won in gambling. But this just never happened in me winning the game. This is the reasons why until now I never play gambling site. Winning is not my luck in gambling so better I focus on other things that will benefited me.

Big money is surely hard to win, but with few hundred of dollars earned from gambling it's already possible to buy some nice hobby stuff. Things that you would like to have and that you think could make you happy. Sometimes it's better avoiding the big wins and concentrating on the low-medium wins as it's easier and more guaranteed. Those who just want to win big lose on most times.
yeah when that winning time has comes you can't even think clearly, calmly. you would get rushed to fill your greedy will and mostly just wasting money on something that really not necessary. and when you realized in the next day you would regret and promises to yourself won't do that again , but you keep repeating the same mistake anyway. just stick to the rules, when you want to move your winning money into a real business just do it immediately .
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 31, 2017, 07:35:09 AM
We always come back or gamble again even if we lose because it's driven by our curiosity. That curiosity does not only affect when we lose, it'll arise when we are on the winning condition as well. This is where self-control must play a part.

Not really curiousity but some people come back because they want to keep playing for so many reason. My reason is because I want to have fun, as long as I can have fun then I will be playing. Some people want to get profit that is why they play and keep on coming back . I think that is nothing more than that
many reasons why come back despite losing is mostly because want to get a profits the second is fun and the other because of the opportunity or hope to win in gambling and also because gambling is an addictive game. I gambled again because I saw the opportunity of winning from gambling and my hunch was says an opportunity to win.
nahhh i believe that's what mostly think about! every single time you have an idea to spend your money to gamble you always think that there's no harm to give a single shot on roulette table to test your luck , if you win it you think you would just take it out and enjoy the winning , but it's not goes as planned you would keep playing until you are in addiction zone . always happened to everyone. don't be a fool player like mostly.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 31, 2017, 07:26:11 AM
My dream in bitcoins, i want make contribution for bitcoins to become more better than right now, unfortunately i don't have any skills related bitcoins technicaly to be programmer who gives contribution on bitcoins that makes bitcoins network more better than just now, i just could shared about information of bitcoins to all of comunity and i hope it is useful too for the growing of bitcoins.
a little bit example , you could run your own bitcoin core full node wallet . it's helps bitcoin network to become faster the more people use it . that's completely safe &  decentralized which means you shouldn't feel insecure at all. even though it's required a lot of space of disk and a fast internet connection, why not to start from a little things to help out bitcoin to reach your noble dream. i would respecting this kind will rather than become selfish enrich themselves through bitcoin sigh.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: August 31, 2017, 07:16:24 AM
A big NO to them who call gambling is shameful, I admit that people feels shame if anyone doing this but they are mad enough that dont understand that other luck based investment like Buying stocks , forex or investing in gold is also same. If gambling is shame then those professions are also shame for me.
yeah we are not doing criminal things , people shouldn't be mad and act like to make us shameful sharing and play games for the sake of fun or even money. as long as you are not against prevailing norms. you don't have to worry and just run-of-the-mill . feel like nothing wrong , unless if someone feel bothered then it could be an issue.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: August 31, 2017, 06:57:11 AM
In sport gambling i do analysis, although sometimes lose. However, when compared to dice gambling, my analysis hasn't effect either. Of those two things, i am more interested in gambling dice as it's easier and faster to gain profit.
The dice game is easier to play but you said you gain profit how it is possible for you. even I played this game, but I did not make any profit in this game. Actually in this game making profit is a big task. Why because it is not a skilled game just roll and wait. If our fate is good, we will make a profit. So you are making a profit means you are the lucky guy in gambling. Any particular strategy you use to win money or a random game. If any strategies are there let us know we will also try and make money.
easy to play doesn't mean could give you an easy profit . sometimes people misunderstanding about that , lured too early and just suffering lost in the end. i always prefer a skills based games like sportsbetting where an analysis could make your win rates increasing , everyone who did this would know how the feeling analysis affected your prediction , where dice completely can't be predicted.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: November real test for Bitcoin ? on: August 30, 2017, 11:57:53 PM
I really think that bitcoin needs to lower the fees a bit. It is so high right now, i had to send a payment of $30 and i had to pay $8 worth of fees, even more expensive that PayPal fees (since they are too high too)
but it all will depends on how the bitcoin goes, all the mess with segwit is now in the past, we now have to watch closely how bitcoin will keep the trace.
And about the price, i think it will reach $5k before november.

we can change the way people look at the fee value , with bitcoin price recently it's indeed only give benefit to the early miner , $5 as a fee might mean nothing. but to those people who bought bitcoin lately i don't think so , i would think twice before sending a transaction with that high fee. the slow network should be done before december , otherwise a lot of people could suffering and lost their interest to invest more in bitcoin even leaving.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 30, 2017, 11:48:48 PM
Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley

It's really hard to quit gambling or any bad habits. I think the best thing that you can do is to find any other ways to have fun. You can just go exercise, read a book, or travel. Finding a way to keep your self busy is the best way to avoid gambling.
yeah but sometimes people really having fun through gambling more than anything , that's why it's hard for them to leave. it's feel like a thrill that you can't find elsewhere , but the consequences are so dangerous , you could get addicted just like drugs addiction , stay away are better indeed.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: August 30, 2017, 06:27:41 AM
Challenging themselves that will cost them money? Very few people will do that thing, competition is one of the possible reason. It's not about on how much you can earn but it's about on how long you can stay in gambling. If your greediness will not be removed in the right time, you will be losing. Take time on controlling yourself.
I do not see any challenge in gambling. And it is the funniest thing I have ever heard of! You are talking about what kind of competition, who has better luck than other? It is even more ridiculous than the previous one. Staying in gambling totally depends upon how much you earn because you need money in order to gamble.

Getting the picture? Greed has nothing to do with victory or defeat but it is a hurdle in the path of self-controlling.

You have to read the quoted part of my reply. There might be competition from others and yes it's luck.
Other gamblers can't take to see others are having that much while they are not good. And you are saying greed has nothing to do with victory or defeat? Why would gamble if you are not greedy then?
you can't judge everyone as same. you know that out there especially a rich people come to casinos for the sake of looking for an exclusive entertainment , to get entertainment in different way. and gambling provide what they need. so not everyone could have greedy once they get into gambling world , just the way someone treat your own emotion , proper ly or not. as long as you can gamble wisely and responsibly you aren't greed.

I agree, not all people who are in a casino are not greedy.  Some have controls over their emotion.  And since greed in only in the state of mind of having more and more, the only thing to battle it is to program ourselves to not be greedy before we go to the casino.  Conditioning is one strong point to counter anything our minds is dictating us to do especially being greedy.
yeah poeple should try to look at different view rather than judging people based on your own experience . it's totally different . anyway when it comes to greedy it's always about who are you really , means when you have a good temperament you wouldn't get greedy easily , gamble responsibly and won't get a lot of trouble in gambling. so be a good personality in your daily life might could help fix your greedy.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: August 29, 2017, 08:51:22 AM
Nope, you're wrong. I think dice has more revenue compared to poker. A lot is more interested in dice over poker. One thing why I say it, dice is way easier to play while poker needs some skill/knowledge. And when it comes to popularity/ranking in bitcoin gambling games, dice is on top of them.
it's like dice as a laziest game ever , where poker required a lot of thinking. when you stop thinking that time you have seen the end of your joyful life. i don't like much to play dice , besides it was so boring , the game variation there are so limited. nothing can beat PvP games , it wouldn't make you bored . i admit that peolpe around here prefer to play dice rather than to play casino games or poker , don't know why because you can easily move your funds and make it double? maybe ....
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone won above 1.5btc on: August 29, 2017, 08:26:18 AM
You can easy win 2btc Cheesy if you have 1 for bet Smiley

i have done the same thing in sportsbetting , but never ended well when you do it in the long run. i have won 3.5 bitcoin with 0.7 bitcoin staked only but in the next days i lost more than 4 bitcoin due get heated in several events , all i made on sportsbetting and it's just make me frustated. the key is to leave gambling forever after you have got your big winning .
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: August 29, 2017, 08:09:27 AM
There is no easy way to profit when it comes to gambling, all about luck and probabilities. With bigger bank roll the bigger the chance of winning but still not guaranteed to win. Most people here plays dice and lots of people make money by uploading "safe strategies" on youtube to gain referral commissions.

There's indeed no easy way when it comes to gambling and so I don't know if the OP will be able to get what he is actually looking for because everything is based on your luck and skill when it comes to gambling and you don't get lucky all the time so there's no comprehensive answer for the question.
gambling would always about how someone become luck enough to win , the outcome are uncertain and that's what makes the game so excited to be played. if then there's an easy way to get profit from gambling , i'm sure every gambling business would go bankrupt and wouldn't as popular as right now , they keep popping up creating new business in gambling because they know it's easy to take profit from greedy players, not for us.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: August 29, 2017, 07:55:36 AM
For me, I'd chose basketball and tennis. Not only that I'm a fan of those sports but for me, These sports are two of the easiest sports to win on a betting online. Why? In basketball you could easily predict who can win the game, basing on the statistics and the lineup. Which is most likely have a 70:30 chances of winning. In tennis, I only based my prediction on the statistics of the player. Though, It's quite harder to predict who will win. There are chances that even the best players such as Federer, Nadal, Novak, Andy, Nishikori, and etc. lose against an unshaded player or not on the top 20 players.
but usually the seeded teams have little odds and high risk if lost then probability in games anything can happen. I myself prefer football because it's a sport I like so it will be easier to analyze a match because I know about the game and team.
Tennis is really something that could make you bet on the underdogs because you will never know how they are going to turn out, sometimes the player will tire out, in the end, making them sloppy then the score will match up and possibly win, but still, it requires analyzing. Statistics gives a lot of explanation on how something could happen. Know the game and you would win.
yeah a lot of times i have got an odds around @9 and even @20 ! the luckiest day ever are when i won on underdogs with average odds 6 to 8 , five times consecutively in single day! i turned $10 to almost $1,000 , unreal! tennis are one of my favorite sports to bet. there's a lot of unexpected things happened , and it's good if you know how to exploit to bet against the odds.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 28, 2017, 11:44:41 AM
Nowsaday Investments in alternative coins are risky and Gambling is even worst. Maybe better off just keep it and wait for 1btc price go up.
Yeah saving is a good option but if we only choose to gamble or to invest, I would choose to invest, gambling is more risky than investing. That is only my opinion. Gambling is only for a short term and there is a possibility that I can lose all I have.
I agree with you mate, saving bitcoin is the best option of course, I like so much investing in bitcoin, because it's too profitable, we are all know that bitcoin price will be more higher than know, we can always investing in trading for exemple because, it's an awesome domain for getting a high profit. In the other side, gambling it's too risky, I don't consider it like a source for profit, It's just for fun no more.
yes saving is good no doubt about that, but i think such amount of money that is enough for your emergency purposes. While the rest of the money should be invested in bitcoin or some other good business.so that you can continue increasing your money.
as long as you invest your money on bitcoin where you are protected from inflation you are doing good . but when you do saving i don't think it's better than gambling. those people who love to risking would of course prefer to do : 1. invest 2. gamble and 3. savings aren't a choice. so it's clearly investment are the best way to grow your bitcoin rather than take a big risk in gambling.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: August 28, 2017, 11:28:39 AM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

I don't know. I only play poker and do some betting. For me it's the emotion I get when I play poker, or when I bet. Also a chance to test my skills, and of course, to try to win something.
yeah i guess we all have different reasons, but mostly always hooked by the high rewards. don't fall too deep on it. think calmly when you aren't in the game or not on any pressure. the thrill of staking money to play certain game also could be the reason , i love sportsbetting and i did it every week . because i love sports , and why not to put a little money for the sake looking for luck ?
