I lost all coins I had, becouse I stored them in that provided web wallet! I dont trust this coin at all looks like a scam!Look at evidence from my web wallet!!!... I've never used the web wallet, but if suspect the problem is on your end - some malware or malicious browser extension you installed. Anyone can look at the client side source code for the web wallet, I'm guessing it's totally benign.

Where I can find the Monero's wallet for a 32bit computer? I know that there is only the command line of the wallet for a 32 bit computer, I hope that I'm wrong.

Used latest wallet 0.11.3.2 and it downloaded over 8 gb but did not advance past March 2014. I've restarted it various times and it downloads a vast amount of gigabytes but the wallet does not move forward. Any suggestion?
Maybe try to run it in CLI mode, I've had some issues with the GUI in the past. Either that or use Electrum wallet.

Is there another forum to find updates from devs, or is there anywhere to see the progress this coin has been making over the time of its existence?? Looking for specific links.
I think this is a good price to get in, seems to have a found a nice floor for now at least (knock on wood).
The best place is probably the subreddit at this point. Or PM 8bitcoder here. There's not a great historical record of what's been done now that you mention it, I guess besides the commits in the two GitHub repos.

I see, but what about the distribution %?
If it gets divided across different wallets, will I receive less byteballs compared to holding them all on the same wallet, or you receive byteballs for the sum of all the wallets?
If you create another wallet and receive money and you have no 2 wallets, the number that shows up will show the total amount of byteballs of all wallets or individually when you select a wallet?
Can you do some math? You have 3 wallets each with 5GB, then you get 5*0.1 + 5*0.1 + 5*0.1 = 0.15GB You have 1 wallet with 15GB then you get 15*0.1 = 0.15 GB So it is the same. Dude, 15.*0.1 = 1.5

Hi I recently built a rig with an NVIDIA1080ti card and i7 processor. I am staking coins but am also trying to figure out how to solo mine. I currently mine with NiceHash but I want to at least solo mine even if it's just to learn a few things. So far I downloaded the server and client for AEON. This coin is my first attempt to solo. My server node is running and my wallet is open. ...
You can't solo mine on cryptonotes like you can with bitcoin clones if you want to use a GPU. You basically have to run your own pool. So let me see if I understand this. CCMiner is basically just another NiceHash? I say that because no matter what, I have to use a pool to mine a coin? Funny - I find it amazing how i'm smart enough to figure out how to solo mine. Why would you say I need to run my own pool? Wallet says: [wallet WmsJVr]: start_mining 1 Mining started in daemon [wallet WmsJVr]: Server says: Mining has started with 1 threads, good luck! Thanks for your help, I'm gonna make some adjustments now and rock this! ccminer only pool mines for aeon or other cryptonotes. When the wallet says you're mining that means CPU mining.

Bought some hot sauce from pex peppers yesterday using groestlcoin. Thanks to whoever got GRS up and running on coinpayments.net
Thanks for this info, j. I have an account at Coin to Pay, but not coinpayments. Will give it a whirl. No account needed, just a checkout thing.

@bbc.reporter
I'm still here, but please do not call me "the king". That phrase might be called 'damaged' in the greater Monero community at this point (if you don't know what that means, you're lucky).
We're steadily working on the rebase. It'll be done when it is done. I'm not going to make promises on delivery schedule of a volunteer-driven project.
Going forward we may consider restructuring things a bit so further progress can be accelerated, allocating funding for dedicated developer resources, etc. But right now AEON just needs a bit of patience to get to a good foundation first.
Lol SM the king. Just FYI guys, I'm planning on starting a role playing game that is basically a sql database, which will use aeon as an in game currency, and I will bestow upon myself the title of forever emperor and require fealty from all peasants and peons who wish to join my magnificent game universe. Seriously though, I had started on trying to rebase aeon to first monero release that included lmdb, then smooth said he was nearly finished with it so I put it aside...a couple months ago. Maybe we could get it out quicker if one or both of us put changes we've made so far in a public GitHub repo, so more people could collaborate easily with pull requests.

OK, so no draft this sunday? I'll try to work on my bro when I see him Sunday. Maybe tell him I'll give him 2 xmr if he uses one to sign up for Monero FF.

BlackBytes received.
One question: if thereīs no miners, who earns the transaction fee?
Thatīs a cool project. The more I read the more I like it. I see the marketcap going x5 within this year. The only thing I donīt get is why list prices in Gigas instead of Megas. Newbies seeing 400USD a coin can perceive it as expensive. 0.4 a coin is easier to promotion.
Is there some way to address it? What thinks Tony about this question?
Tx fees are split: The fees are collected partially by those who are first to reference your transaction as parent and partially by witnesses. The former incentivizes referencing the most recent transactions as parents, which results in the DAG growing in one direction only, like the trunk of a tree, and being as narrow as network latency permits. If new transactions are rare enough, such that all nodes have enough time to sync before a new transaction appears, the DAG will look almost like a chain, with only occasional forks and quick merges. I think 50/50 re: MB v. GB, it's been discussed ad nauseum in this thread, and I doubt it will change on exchanges. You can set it to show as whatever you want in your wallet tho.

I can do either Sunday.
Also, failed to convince anyone else to join :/

OMG it peaked to 16000+ Sats!
Fucking finally. Thanks bittrex! I don't know how Bittrex managed to do this, but before this skyrocketing, I had a series of open orders to sell Myriad at prices 200-1300 sats, and the orders were not executed, they just disappeared. The balances now as like as I have never set these orders. It looks like Bittrex just playing with itself to increase volume. Otherwise the orders must have been executed, not disappeared. I think the way their system works they basically had to open a whole new market with empty books and clear the old ones. The "skyrocketing" was on extremely low volume, so it's not like you missed out on much.

Alright so I'm assuming everyone is in (on mobile; haven't logged back on ESPN). I can set up the draft date to start this upcoming Sunday in the late afternoon, maybe around 5ish? Days that work for me are limited, so if this weekend works for you guys, let's do it then.
I wasnt able to get anyone else to join, but since four technically works I guess we'll be fine. I might make one last post on Reddit or something, but thinking I might avoid it because I don't want to be the spammy guy. Not to mention 4 xmr is like $200, so it's a reasonably big pot up for grabs.
So let me know if this Sunday at 5 PM (EST) works for you guys... I can even do 6-8 PM, but anything starting past that is getting a bit late for me.
Sunday afternoon should be good for me. I'll still try to get my bro to join...

I've mentioned this on Slack/IRC and a few people seemed to like the idea, so I figured I should also mention it here so it can be discussed. I believe Aeon should consider changing its ticker from AEON to XAE to conform to the ISO 4217 standard for currencies, much like XMR (Monero) and XBT (Bitcoin, on some exchanges like Kraken). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217#X_currenciesPlease voice your opinion on whether you think this is a good idea or not, as it is better to agree upon this early on when its easier to change this (as there are less exchanges to make the change on). I don't think it's a bad idea (though I wasn't a fan really when monero did it), but apparently bittrex is really shitty about changing tickers now. Myriad changed ticker from MYR to XMY, and apparently even after someone paid them 2 BTC or so a couple months ago they still haven't changed it. So for similar low volume coin I'd expect to have to pay and still maybe be unresponsive.

I posted some threads on Reddit a week ago or so, and mention it in IRC occasionally. Maybe time to start pinging people specifically if you know anyone who might want to play.
