I am wondering how mofo wallet works and whether my passphrase is safe. I have no access to my local installed Nxt client at the moment. So I am considering to type in my passphrase on mofowallet but I am not sure if is safe enough.

Opening post looks promising. Will it be possible to host website on the blockchain and call them through a Siacoin-like browser?
This would be awesome!
10443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Vcoin sha256 pow on: May 14, 2015, 11:51:58 AM
Too few information to point my miner to the pool. Further, Sha256 is not the best algorithm today to bring miners to mine it :/

I want to spread the word by writing an article about the start of this coin. Is there an official website somewhere?
10445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Infinitecoin Going to Skyrocket in Couple of Months on: May 14, 2015, 11:35:57 AM
Yes, in inifinite living  Grin What a huge pump this week. The coin increased from a place outside the top 100 to 21 in market cap within two days Cheesy Only by using 180 BTC.

A number of old coins got pumped yesterday including earthcoin. I don't believe they will sustain their new prices so what's different about infinitecoin?

Infinitecoin redefined the word "infinite". That's special!  Cheesy

10447  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-05-14] You can now tip musicians with Bitcoin on SoundCloud on: May 14, 2015, 11:18:40 AM
ChangeTip launched a new tipping feature on SoundCloud that allows the users of the online audio distribution platform to tip musicians using Bitcoin. The digital platform, used to send and receive payments or tips instantly, used SoundCloud’s open API (application program interface) to build the new tipping option after receiving numerous requests from users. The feature works thanks to the company’s Tip.Me widget...

10448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT Bubble Game? Anyone tried it yet? -- How do you even play? on: May 14, 2015, 11:10:16 AM
I played a little bit around with it. It's a cool game. But 1% of skill and 99% of luck is a little bit too much luck in my opinion  Grin
But it's trustworthy. I got a payment. Read the FAQ on the site in order to get how to play it.
10449  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-05-14] ItBit CEO: Bitcoin Can’t Circumvent the Financial System on: May 14, 2015, 11:00:29 AM
"Mainstream adoption is not going to happen if you circumvent the financial system, you're going to have to be a participant in it. That doesn't mean bitcoin isn't disruptive. It is in important and very valuable ways, but that disruption will never be able to reach its full potential unless you're able to interface with the system"

Cool feature! Is there a dictionary of all Qora hosted sites and blogs somewhere?  Shocked

@favdesu: Check also the microblogging feature, including anonymous capabilities, I bet you'll like it! It can also be used for news feeds, with hashtags, and search by names! Actually these are 3 separate services!!

Does it mean you buy and sell GoldPieces? If so, how do you want for 10.000 GoldPieces?
10452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Digest: 10 Coins That Can’t Be Neglected - coin telegraph on: May 14, 2015, 10:46:50 AM
In my opinion, there are only two coin on the list which are really serious and promising ones: NEM and DarkNote
10453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: May 14, 2015, 10:37:53 AM
At the very beginning the price was at 17000 sats. If I remember correct, this was the first trade at Poloniex, then it has declined very quickly to under 1000 sats, 250 sats and from there to 50sats before it stabled.

Price isn't everything at this point, but it's going up, and will continue to go up. I've been right so far, but this is an easy one to see. IMHO of course.

At launch the price was over 100. It went down all the way to around 55 a  week later. It went up o 72 on April 27. Today it's close  to 68, so what exactly are you are right about? This isn't much difference
10454  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help Me Earn A Job :) on: May 14, 2015, 10:35:50 AM
Who will not make $500 a week  Huh All you need a special skills. The internet gives everyone the chance to learn specialized skills and offer them here or elsewhere against money or bitcoins.

Ok atm im 32yo and Deliver pizzas earning $500 a week i have cfs and that means i sleep alot / have no energy to get out of bed ,,,, here is bitcoin Smiley whats  a way i can still earn $500 a week online ?

I also want to make 500 a week online. Even if it takes an investment.  That would be great.

I don't think I will hit it, but maybe one day.
10455  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 14, 2015, 10:00:08 AM
I would not sign this. Sure most investors are awaiting the halving in 2016 but if the price will not significantly rise after the halving many investors will sell their bitcoins what will cause a big sell preasure.

The next block reward update should do the trick. Once less bitcoins are being feed to the blockchain, the price with gradually increase.  Cheesy
10456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [STX] StealthCash unmoderated topic on: May 14, 2015, 09:56:56 AM
That is exactly why waiting for the whitepaper is a good step before investing any Satoshi in it. The whitepaper will show if it is just a copycoin or has new unique features.

The dev of this coin does not even have imagination to give some original name to his coin. He stole the brand from StealthCoin - a legit coin on the market it`s been 10 moths now.

Most likely this scam coin was made by some P&D group to make profit and then they will let die this coin.
10457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dead ? FinCEN investigation! on: May 14, 2015, 09:54:34 AM
...
Are exchanges like bittrex or cyptsy in danger of closing? or what? should we be concerned with this situation?
..

Exchanges like Bittrex and Cryptsy are in danger not matter if FinCEN investigation is true or not. Decentralized exchanges are the future and will fully replace centralized exchanges.

10459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Automated Transactions on: May 14, 2015, 09:49:39 AM
No, you don't need balance at your Qora address in order to receive a transaction. I suggest to contact the Bter help desk.
Use Poloniex in future to trade Qora instead of Bter.

I have withdrawn some Qora about a hour ago. It has been worked for me.  Wink

Is BTER withdraw working?

BTER says
Quote
Waiting for balance Processing

Do I need a balance at my QORA address to withdraw?
