Could you explain what NIST5 algorithm is and how it is used? I didn't find a whitepaper link in the opening post.

Interesting coin concept. Vior focuses on the use of peer-to-peer technology and advanced cryptography to ensure secure communication. Vior was designed to make sure that voice communications and personal/business communications could be kept private. But this technology already exists. How does it differ from them? Will there be a whitepaper released what describes the tech?

It is not just a solution for Greece, but also for many other economically struggling countries around the world. There a dozens of such countries in Africa for instance. There is no experience introducing a decentralized currency so far, so those responsible won't risk such a step.

Denmark just wants to control the money flows because after the central banks (Fed, ECB BoE, BoJ, etc) have blown their balances much money flowed into Danish currency what resulted into a currency appreciation and hurts the Danish economy. Cashless country does not mean implicitly decentralized cashless country

Read the first post and you see that I already mentioned hodl(ing) there. By the way, the origin of hodl comes from this post I can't believe we are forgetting a favourite of bulls everywhere on the forum. HODL
I honestly have no idea who originally mispelled hold but whomever did certainly influenced the crypto masses. Interesting thread though, it's sort of silly to see the made up words the crypto ecosystem uses.

I know there were various of discussions about whether Satoshi Nakamoto, BCNext and Qora are the same person. There are also good proofs (text analysis, on-/offline profiles, etc) which states that they probably could not be the same person. Howsoever, they have one thing in common. They released a great unique tech and then disappeared. What do you think, why do they want to stay unknown?

I believe the MGW bitcoin addresses are all 2 of 3 multi-sig so if 1 operator goes the other 2 operators can still spend from the addresses.
Sure, but what happens in the case when at least two of three servers are offline or the maintainers disappear?

I am curious. As a Devcoin stakeholder who wants to support the coin more, how can I apply for a available role? Are there any prerequisites to have? I was not aware, and never even considered, blocks from email providers. My apologies to both of you and so happy that you are going to be part of the relaunch!

Hi Nova, I looked at the HR page on Devtome but wasnt sure where I am meant to add myself. http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_human_resources

They mainly made money from all the banners around the faucet. Even solving captchas brings some cash for them. Think about how less hey give you away (avg around 200 sats). This is so less that they still have a good return on invest.

It depends how NEM convince me to believe into its future. Currently I would sell at around 250 sats or even 200. If the dev deliver what they've promised the rate will increase for sure We are buying XEM cheap whenever possible. Everybody have some price in mind when they will sell some of their XEM when the price will go up.
Would you guys share what price you think is that which you'll think of selling some XEM? like 500 satoshi, 1000 satoshi, 2000, 3000, 12000, 150,000 500,000 satoshi and so on??
I want to see how much people have confidence in NEM? If more people strongly holding in higher prices, means NEM have solid community, and long term believers.

In my eyes it is nothing sensational. I doubt that the venture capital will have any return on investment. It is just not practicable for many people.

Cashless does not mean decentralized cashless The Danish government think about that because so much money flowed into Danish currency after the announcement of the ECB, the Fed and all the others to increase their balances. They just want to control money flows much easier what is possible with a centralized cashless currency.

I thought a lot about this topic. One of my conclutions: Think about, Bitcoin and Gold have common characteristics. Why hasn't Gold been reached mainstream adaption as payment section yet? It is a secure value storage since thousands of years. Because it is not practical for most of the people. Like Bitcoin it is only interested for a small group of idealists and speculators.
