Talkimg.com on: June 01, 2023, 11:26:42 PM
1082  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 01, 2023, 10:47:43 PM
I'm not going to lie. Although I highly value my privacy, I've sent my documents to multiple platforms in order to complete kyc. I was kinda forced to do so, though.
Personally, I believe that the moment you upload your documents to the internet, you should consider them as compromised since no website/database is 100% safe.
However, you should not send your personal information to any random online service. Do it only with services that you trust.
1083  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [Q] Electrum Inquiry on: June 01, 2023, 09:27:26 PM
Many wallets support sending to multiple addresses but few of them (one or two) support the Electrum seed format. Since you already have Electrum installed then better keep using it.
Except some minor bugs, no critical vulnerability has been reported in the recent Electrum versions. If your only goal is to send to multiple addresses, then any version above V3.3.3 should be fine.
1084  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Phishing "MyMixer.io" SCAM! - Fake Cryptomixer on: June 01, 2023, 08:36:08 PM
This scam website is a copy-paste of [banned mixer] (I knew I've seen it before the moment I opened it), they just changed the logo/buttons color from purple to blue.
It's obvious the scammer is going to great lengths to promote his fake website and spread its link everywhere.
Thank you OP for exposing it and I encourage everyone to report it to the domain registrar.
1085  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: الذكاء الصناعي و حقوق الملكية الفكرية on: May 30, 2023, 11:59:20 PM
^^
1086  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: تحذير عند محاولة ارسال عن طريق بايننص on: May 30, 2023, 10:45:18 PM
PYYPL on: May 30, 2023, 10:31:28 PM
...
1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: blizz.io blatant scammers stay away on: May 28, 2023, 11:56:44 PM
It's very difficult for the members of this forum to help you because you don't want to provide any proof, so you created this thread:
I'm not saying that I believe OP's story, at the same time am not siding with the casino, but in such cases, it's really difficult for the accuser (OP in this case) to prove his innocence. What kind of proofs do you think he can provide to support his case? How can he prove he doesn't have any alt accounts?
In such cases, the best thing to do is to refer to an independent mediator such as casinoguru or askgamblers then each party can submit their proofs and tell their side of the story.
1089  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: nftonspin.com looks like a scam on: May 28, 2023, 11:07:57 PM
Sorry for your loss OP!
However, am a bit surprised, disappointed at the same time, that there are users who still fall for such scams. It was obvious from their Ann thread that they weren't serious. They didn't even bother to buy a coper membership and post a proper announcement. Besides, it was also obvious that they weren't serious based on the bonuses they were offering, which were too good to be true.
My advice is to create a type 3 flag against them and wait for dt members to support it.
1090  Economy / Exchanges / Re: With these acts, do we still believe in Centralized Exchanges? on: May 28, 2023, 10:12:51 PM
Sending your coins to a centralized exchange or any custodial service is the same as giving your money to a strange person, that you don't know, and ask him to keep it safe. The only difference, is that with licensed exchanges, there is a slight chance to get some of your money back when the exchange try to pull an exit scam or file a bankruptcy.
Cryptocurrencies started with bitcoin and all bitcoin is about is decentralization and being your own bank. So, better keep it this way and avoid all custodial/centralized services.
1091  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How do I recover password? on: May 28, 2023, 08:46:05 PM
..
No need to over-complicate things, guys.
A custodial wallet is the wallet for which the service provider (usually the wallet dev), be it a web, software or hardware wallet, is the only one who knows the private keys.
A non-custodial wallet is the one for which the customer is the only one who knows/owns the private keys.
What is worth discussing and arguing about are wallets for which both the service provider and the customer know/own the private keys!
1092  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I've lost $10 when depositing to OKX (formerly OKEx) on: May 28, 2023, 08:13:27 PM
Where did you send the the transactions from?
If you made the transaction which is still unconfirmed from a non-custodial wallet and it has been flagged as RBF, you can replace it with a new one paying higher fee and send the fund to yourself.
This may work but, tbh, it's not worth the hassle. He sent $5 and to cancel the unconfirmed transaction (send the coins back to his wallet), assuming his transaction is flagged as rbf, he will need to spend ~3-4 dollars minimum in fees.
Some may argue that 1-2$ is better than nothing, but what I would do is to contact customer support and see if they can help in crediting the sent amounts to my account balance, even if it's less than the minimum required.
1093  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️ BitcoinCasino.to - Guide & Reviews - 1400+ Crypto Casinos List on: May 27, 2023, 11:58:20 PM
Great job bitcoincasino's team!
Reviewing 1400+ casino is too much work, I didn't even know there were that many crypto casinos!
To be honest, I didn't take a deep look at your website but I can ensure you that i'll do it as soon as I can.
It's always a pleasure to discover a new reviews website.
1094  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 27, 2023, 11:11:20 PM
I wonder what to call it if money is not involved except if it's not gambling, wome take this advantage to gamble and still play lottery because it's free to do, but unlike gambling, you can't go to the casio without having your own money to use for gambling else you will be chased out.
I answered this same exact question in one of my previous replies. It's called a "prediction game" and I quoted the definition from Wikipedia. For reference, it's not gambling. I don't blame you sine I posted my reply days ago and it has been buried under tons of other replies, so you have probably missed it.
I think it's useless to continue this debate as it's obvious no one reads what others say.
1095  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 27, 2023, 10:09:06 PM
I'm a bit surprised by the replies of some members who say that you should leace the casino as soon as you make some profit. This is a bit absurd because what gamblers usually want is to have fun not to make a profit. Besides, according to their reasoning, you are at profit if you don't gamble, so my question is: why do you waste your time and money on an activity that you don't even like and exercising it would, most of the times, result in you losing money?
1096  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: May 27, 2023, 09:28:13 PM
Back to the main subject, I have a question: can anyone give a clear definition of what is exactly a web3 casino? I read all the of the above replies and it seems that we are arguing about something that we don't even know what it is!
As per my experience, any casino which allows logging in via metamask or any other wallet that supports walletconnect, claims it is a web3 casino. Is this right?
1097  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 120$ Loan defaulted by [Supreemo] on: May 27, 2023, 08:33:45 PM
I usually accept anyone who is in the signature campaign except 1xbit. But I should be more aware before accepting a loan.
This is your mistake. As I said above, just because a member is part of a signature campaign doesn't mean he can be trusted. You should always keep this in mind! You have been here for too long and am sure you remember the case whan many high ranked/trusted members were busted for being alt accounts. Some of them were part of the highest paying sig campaign, back in the time.
Anyway, I hope some of the defaulters will have some integrity and repay what you owe them.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: May 26, 2023, 11:57:24 PM
^^
Am not going to talk about of the drawbacks of the wagering requirement such as addiction that you have mentioned above, since this is unrelated to the main topic. But I want to say that I disagree with LUCKMCFLY when he said that 10x is too high. This multiplier can be considered too high if he was talking about withdrawing without claiming any bonus. But for other bonuses, I'll say that it would be one of the lowest that I've ever seen. It's usually between 25 and 50x.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: May 26, 2023, 11:11:15 PM
Quote from: Doan9269 link=topic=5448471.msg62299594#msg

Every casinos has it own requirements and many gamblers do not know this or maybe pay less attention to this aspect, some of this requirements were clearly stated in their TOS, nothing can change it because they put them there on purpose, gamblers always made a complain rue to their non compliance to these regulations and terms, ones you discover you can't cope anymore using a casino, you're free to go and try out others.
You are right. Gamblers gave to read the terms of the casino before signing up with them. And if they fail to comply with those terms then there is no one to blame but them. However, fir the sake of transparency, casinos have to make sure their customers are well informed about their terms. Posting them on the tos page is not enough. Gamblers need to read specific terms on each and every page. For example, if they are going to claim a bonus then a notification message warning them that they need to complete 10x wagering requirement before withdrawing is a must. If the casino doesn't do this, then this is a form of deception.
1100  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: May 26, 2023, 10:11:10 PM
it will make the case become more hard for the players since the casino already stated that and whatever their wish to, they will change the T&c to suit and favour themselves.
But I have not seen any casino that does that yet and including it in the terms of service will discourage potential players from using such casino.
As stated above, they can not do this. They can't simply change their terms of service overnight to win a dispute against one or some of their customers. A scam casino may do it but a reputable one will never do it. Besides, as I said above, even if they introduce some changes to their ToS, the changes aren't supposed to have a retro-active effect. So, it's not going to change anything.
