1081  Other / Meta / Re: [LIST] USERS THAT ARE ABUSING MERIT SYSTEM on: January 27, 2018, 06:20:21 PM
This shitty merit system adds confusions, anger, insecurities, jealousy and made members stalking to other members.
This system only favored to higher ranks those English are their native language but totally unfair to somebody else.
English isn't my thing, but let's be honest, all of us had minimum of 2 accounts and even a dozen as I do.
I know nobody does give me sMerit because this isn't a quality post to achieve impressions but neither I'm going to give my sMerit away into Hero and Legendary members.
*sigh* disappointed

Its not about English, nor about ranks, but about the contribution a post adds to a discussion/thread. It won't be unfair for the ones who can find at least one valid reason to post something which is what the forum lacks now a days and that is why the system has been implemented. Have as many accounts as you like, but none of them would be of work if you can't compel the users to reward you with Merits for your posts.
By the way, posting twice in a row is against forum rules. You did it just now.

P.S: You got a Merit by someone, which you asked for in your post, indirectly. No offense.  Roll Eyes
1082  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 27, 2018, 06:00:59 PM
How can I get metrix from others  Huh

You can't, if you don't even know what their function is, or even what their name is.  Roll Eyes
Read the OP properly before posting anything.
1083  Other / Meta / Re: [LIST] USERS THAT ARE ABUSING MERIT SYSTEM on: January 27, 2018, 01:22:12 PM
Hi.
These 2 users are also exchanging Merits for their posts in the same topic. I'm not very sure if they have discussed it before, but I have a doubt, because they have agreed to the same point while giving Merits to each other for it. Well, though it can be mutual thinking, but, I have also checked the other Extra Merit Points they got, and I thought they are not genuinely earned Points, atleast not all of them. You should have a look.

Here are the links to their profile and screenshots to their Merit summary:

1084  Other / Meta / Re: How Do You Feel About This New System?? on: January 27, 2018, 12:40:45 PM
I'm definitely happy with the new system. By close observations, a person can clearly see that the majority of the people on this forum don't even know what a quality post is. Most of them think "more characters = higher post quality", and just because of this false assumption they start making much more longer and way more useless posts to make them look like quality posts, while the quality of a post has nothing to do with its quantity of length.
Merit system can be (if not used with partiality) a permanent full stop for all those accounts created for nothing else but joining Signature Campaigns. And that thus leads to less spam, IMO.

I mentioned on the main thread that a downfall to this sort of system is that people who start the topics are going to get a lot more merits than anyone posting in existing discussion. This will likely lead to people posting new threads which are duplicates from others in attempt to earn more merits.

People creating duplicate or useless threads in order to get Merits would not get any, because that is why this system is implemented. If the duplicate or spam threads start to get Merits then there is no use of the system as there is no restriction for anyone from any rank on creating threads.

I think merit is an unofficial judgement where most of the people gives merit to those well-known campaign managers to make sure that those managers will include them in their next signature campaign . and how about those newbies and junior members who have quality post . are they eligible to rank up?

Hopefully in future the campaigns will require Extra Merit Points (Beside the ones already given for each rank on implementation of the system) to join along with the rank. And if that happens, there will be no use of Meriting well-known signature campaign managers to get into their campaigns if you yourself have none.
About newbies and jr. members with high quality posts; you can already find them having Merits. My profile is an example of that. So yes, we can rank up if we deserve to, and if we don't, we won't.
1085  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: January 26, 2018, 01:02:00 PM
Though it can be done if someone wants to do it, but I don't think anyone would do it as long as they are not willing to get their accounts neg tagged. Because you cannot hide it if you you are giving Merits to someone. If a person gives Merit to a post which is not constructive and deserving, it will be clear that it was decided before, and if a person can do constructive posts he doesn't need to buy any.
And, there is a one more thing that prevents selling Merits, it is that you cannot generate Merits out of nowhere. Before, people used to create a lot of accounts and used to increase their activity points to reach a certain rank and then sell those accounts. Now if you create an account, it has 0 Merits, and it cannot go higher than Jr. member without getting any Merits. And I doubt if someone creates accounts for the only purpose of selling them later on can make quality posts to get Merits from other members.
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin just hold steady for months and months on: January 25, 2018, 11:51:58 AM
Boring? I don't think entertaining people was the idea in Satoshi Nakamoto's mind when he thought of creating Bitcoin. His purpose was to make a decentralized currency to provide a better mode of payment with lower fees and faster transaction times to the people. Today if people take Bitcoin as a source of earning money, that is totally a later-made concept and was never the primary focus of the currency. And no matter how stable it becomes, it will always be the same for the one's who are using it for all the advantages it provides beside its price.
1087  Economy / Reputation / Re: Using 2 Accounts on the forum on: January 24, 2018, 01:16:00 PM
We don't even need to discuss this over the baseless accusations of him. He did this only because we questioned a few things from the service he is running, and that's all. He should be warned for accusing us without any proof.
1088  Economy / Reputation / Re: Using 2 Accounts on the forum on: January 24, 2018, 12:59:17 PM
Lmao  Grin
I can bring hundred such cases to accuse them of having multiple accounts if it is to give such nonsense references. You can't accuse someone without having any proper proof against them. Just because I quoted him to say something you think I'm his alt? Very well.
By the way, I was kind of taking your side by providing your ANN thread link in my reply which he said is not found anywhere.
1089  Economy / Services / Re: Fuloos Signature Campaign - Full Member - Legendary [Forever Campaign] on: January 24, 2018, 12:32:26 PM
This seems a bit fishy to me. Can you provide a link to the ANN thread? Not able to find it anywhere. The coin is not even listed on Coinmarketcap. Any reasons for that? Plus what kind of shady exchange is that?

Just a word of caution to the people who are downloading the wallet. Do it at your own risk. You might end up downloading a virus or a keylogger embedded into it. Not accusing OP, But these are common tactics used by scammers.

Can any DT member look into this?

Not sure about other things you said, but their ANN can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2586410.0
It is in Announcements (Altcoins) section, if you did not check there.
You are right about the exchange though. An exchange that trades in FLS (Fuloos Coin) only. Maybe it is made by themselves as well.
1090  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] ⚡ Alone055's Cheap Signature Designs ⚡║ First 3 Designs for Free ║ on: January 24, 2018, 12:13:22 PM
There are full of signature services. So what can you bring new ? I see your account is fresh here so this is not stable for trying to make a deal but I wish you good luck with your service.

Every person has a different way of doing the same thing. No matter how many people make the same signature, but all of them will look different, and I'm sure my work will be different from others. And about the account, no one needs to worry about that as long as there are escrows on the forum for keeping the deal safe for both sides.
Anyway, Thank you for wishing me luck.  Smiley
1091  Economy / Services / Re: Signature and Avatar Available for Rent ! Legendary Member - boltz - on: January 23, 2018, 06:17:53 PM
Sorry to say, but only being a Legenday member is not enough to attract advertisers. You need to have a good post quality and a good enough grip on English as well. Your grammar is not up to the mark, and your posts are also not too attractive to make someone pay you for them.
1092  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] ⚡ Alone055's Cheap Signature Designs ⚡║ First 3 Designs for Free ║ on: January 23, 2018, 05:46:25 PM

1093  Economy / Services / Re: [Tentatively 1 SPOT OPEN] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: January 23, 2018, 09:57:04 AM
I am by no measure a spammer......

I appreciate you taking a look at my application, it's really cool that you're opening a slot, even if it's currently a tentative position. I'll be watching this thread, and if I am accepted I will change my signature immediately. Thanks for the consideration, I do care about the technology, the potential, the future, the direction and I enjoy the services ChipMixer offers. I'll let my posts speak for themselves, I am by no measure a spammer. I hope our interests line up here, and I'm looking forward to your reply.

 Roll Eyes

I don't see any need of writing all this. He (the manager) can obviously see through your posts if you are a spammer or not, and this rather makes you look like a spammer, IMO.

Hi jacee!
I love your work.  Smiley
Actually, I'm also into signature designing but I'm new to this and I find it quite hard to draw logos most of the times. Some tips from a senior like you would be appreciated.
Thank You.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty programs on: January 22, 2018, 10:50:11 AM
Mostly Bounties targeting social networks require the accounts being used to have real followers/friends and won't accept them if there are more than 20% fake followers/friends in an account. As long as the account has real friends & followers, you can use them in any campaign. But some campaigns also demand crypto related friends and followers, so you may have problems joining those if you buy an account which would probably not have crypto related friends or followers.
1096  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulation Can Also Be Protection on: January 22, 2018, 10:41:48 AM
Well the only problem is that governments don't see it as we do. We have nothing to lose if it becomes mainstream, but we would rather be happy to get something extra to use beside the traditional money that we have been using for centuries. But governments see it somehow as a threat, as they know they won't be able to control its growth nor its supply at any cost. If they regulate it for the protection of people not killing it, and if people start using it more often then the economy which is in their hand, it will be a disaster for them, and that is what they don't want.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look how low they have stooped. on: January 22, 2018, 10:30:25 AM
There is no point of such theories at all. We all know that no one really knows the creator of Bitcoin except the name 'satoshi' which is widely spread to be the creator of Bitcoin. Considering the fact that the creator have not been seen by an eye yet, anyone can make a theory or claim it was created by this or that. The only thing that we care about is we have Bitcoin, and who the hell had created it is not our concern as long as we are not being harmed by it. Sure the ones finding it harmful for them will try to raise those questions, but individuals won't be affected by this.
