10801  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 17, 2016, 08:16:59 AM
I think bitcoin has no government and we are free to use it.. Only the fee as taxes we need to pay is the every transaction you made to some.. But not all wallet has a fee for every transaction you made.. like coinbase.. .No one can control bitcoin we are anonimous so we should need a freedom using bitcoin..

Yeah and those transaction fees are way too low than any other money transfer companies there. It is like 1-2 percent at those other companies unlike bitcoin. It is not that hurtful and no need for a lot of documents to show.
And because of these features I have adopted bitcoin for all of my transactions and leaved all other payment processors as they were have big transaction fee and I would have lose a big fraction in paying it.
10802  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: March 17, 2016, 08:08:21 AM
-snip-
This could happen but I think it will not happen, I think you can better buy them now to be sure for the future.
If you buy them now the chance is big that you will make more profit than if you buy them later this year.
Yes, we have to believe on the price increase of bitcoin and have to buy it. It is sure that the price after halving will boost up to about $1000 or more higher. So I am buying with my fiat.
10803  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: March 17, 2016, 07:01:41 AM
holding bitcoins, but is anyone holding on another other coins like ether or factom? the real question is for how long?

when everyone screams Sell, it's a great time to buy. So buy and hold the bitcoins for somelong.
Yes, the best time for buying bitcoin comes when everyone feel fear from it and start to sell his/her all coins, at that time you can find it at a much low price and can earn better with future value increase.
10804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Top Bitcoin Donation Addresses on: March 16, 2016, 07:59:42 PM
this is good idea to inform us about the top bitcoin donation addresses, hope some people interested in donating their bitcoin too, but let me ask, am I the only one who thinks it?
because the addresses will probably be useful if I see some bitcoins transfered by one of those addresses to my address LOL
Yes, if someone have few bitcoins and they want to find a best place to donate them then they will have to visit here and to choose that which is best place according to him/her where to donate.
10805  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: March 16, 2016, 07:51:06 PM
Recently i have moved my saved money mostly to bitcoin, i have put 70% on bitcoin and 30% on my local bank for any emergency use, so currently i like more the bitcoin wallet, hope to get a bitcoin debit card soon which would be better.
bitcoin is better then banks because we can control fully our money. we don't need any ban's help to save our money and invest them. everyone is his own bank in bitcoin wallets. and now with debit card , using bitcoin is more reliable and easy.
Yes with the increasing establishment of bitcoin now we not need any bank to save and secure our money there, as bitcoin is also performing the same job, with bitcoin our money is saved securely.
10806  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 16, 2016, 07:32:25 PM
People that already have Bitcoin are not waiting for that. So you must see it from different sides mate.
Of course everyone wants to buy it for a low price, but that is not so easily. And the price will rise in the future so that is very good who already have a Bitcoin.
They will wait only if they have all the technical knowledge about the bitcoin that yes after reaching to $100 the bitcoin will once again go higher to more than $500. Otherwise no one want its low price.
10807  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: March 16, 2016, 07:23:35 PM
The best thing that you can do is just buy Bitcoin at a low price. That will be very good. Otherwise there is to much risks.
If you buy Bitcoin for a low price. Than the chance will be higher that you can have some profit later in the future.
not fully invest in bitcoin is trading buy/sell. buy when prices are low and sell when prices are high. you can do apart it mate. many bitcoin investments that can you take. in addition to trade
I will suggest that with some of his bitcoin he has to do trade so not to spend a fraction of it and with some of it start an online business like a website of any category so he can then earn by showing ads at there.
10808  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 16, 2016, 07:16:21 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.

i agree that it's really fast and easy to pay with, and small fees, and it is pretty safe too, while you can get more money from it if you keep your coints for while, but i can't agree with legal/illegal price, in lots of countries it's not legal sadly, and it will take years to be legal everywhere

Even if it is illegal people will continue t use it as no one can have control over it and no one would be aware what amount of bitcoins you hold in your digital wallet and that makes if more attractive then normal currency.
Yes, the government is not aware with your money , then you don’t have to pay high taxes and your money is secured in a place from where it is not stolen. We are getting ride of the support of banks.
10809  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 16, 2016, 07:05:56 PM
The future of the bitcoin is very bright due to the fact the bitcoin itself is gonna be a lot bigger in the couple years.
Another thing is the halving it will let the bitcoin go higher and maybe in about a year its even gets stable.
I'm hope you are right dude. Everbody waiting for bitcoin stable high price. But i am not sure what will happen with bitcoin after halving, price can go lower then 400$ anytime
We all hope that it will have a good future. But you can never know what will happen in the future.
Because it is a currency it is so hard to predict that you never know what to do and that is the problem.
The time is not far away that bitcoin will become a famous and global currency all over the world, and at that stage the major powers and other countries will, for their success in business, adopt it and approve it for the state use.
10810  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 16, 2016, 06:54:16 PM
You will need a lot of bitcoins, and not just a small amount but a large amount, if I´m honest I do not even think it will make it from now.
The fact is also that its difficult to predict due to the future of the bitcoin itself.
Yes because of the future of bitcoin we cannot predict it that how much do you have to keep. But you have to keep some bitcoin as the future is the bitcoin’s future and will give benefits to its holders.
10811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 16, 2016, 09:46:34 AM
it's probably very difficult to leave gambling and would require a tremendous amount of self restraining and self control and desire to actually leave it, it is not easy though but can be done with allot of effort, well, at least I think so.
Anything in this world is possible and easy if he is self-determined and has some intelligence. The person who want to leave any field just require that this person try to involve him/herself in any other field, which has some importance for life.
10812  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 07:28:48 AM
-snip-

the first Question : how much your bitcoin balance for future...? are you buy it or just earn from some way..?
The second Question : how long you will hodl your bitcoin..?
The 3rd Question : are you sure will reach $1000..?

 Roll Eyes
1. I will be having some 50 to 100 bitcoins in next 2 to 5 years. I will buy as well as earn.
2. I will hold for ever. I have no plan to sell it. Definitely I will only use it.
3. I am very much sure for even one satoshi =$1 or $10.
Nice plan.
I believe you plan will make you not just rich but as multi millionaire also. One simple plan will make everybody here will make rich : Never sell your bitcoin. Use it after some 5 to 10 years.
10813  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: March 14, 2016, 02:45:05 PM
A lot of public cam showing have been popping around that are accepting bitcoin. I think they are getting more advertisements now for those who want to jack themselves with an awesome girl at live cam.
I never wanted to interact with models through a live WebCam. But I still prefer go for paid porn with the bitcoin payment, for some high-quality content as I hate free low quality porn stuff. Anyway bitcoin is more useful for me too....
10814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: March 14, 2016, 02:32:31 PM
I believe the best result he will get will be with the halving moment, being before or after it the price should became bigger soo this would be what i would do with those 40btc he has.
I too would suggest the same as OP has already lost 7 BTC and that too the month he posted this thread was Sept 2015 when the price was in the 250-350 range. He can even sell the bitcoins now as he can easily earn $6000+ profit if he does it which is 5 times more than his 7 BTC loss.
10815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: March 14, 2016, 12:14:37 PM
I think each wallet has it's own advantages and more usefulness than the others, if you use multibit for example for smaller and faster transactions and armory for large sized transactions..
Yes it is because of its specific advantages for specific uses , Some bitcoin wallets are beneficial for gambling use while others have benefits for the shopping sites, some have ref earning features while others have fast instant transactions. So people adopt a number of wallets.
10816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 01, 2016, 02:22:11 PM
Trading is quite similar to gambling but in that sense every business has a risk factor which makes it gambling itself. Whether you gamble by playing games or invest in a new business, you are risking your money which may lead to a loss but gambling is always looked down upon and not a business as you are using your skill and knowledge while investing in a business. Gambling is just a prediction/luck based game.
To some extent I too feel that trading and gambling are same kind. If we don't have any knowledge about trading/gambling, you can end up losing. In trading, our loss can be less but it's not the case with gambling. Also, trading is considered a legal and appropriate way of earning whether in forex/stock markets or bitcoin trading but gambling is not right. Addiction in gambling is the worse part.
10817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 01, 2016, 01:38:53 PM
It can be profitable if you know the game and participate in games there is an actual winning chance.
But you've got to be very skilled and not many of us have this much of talent vs luck.
as long you choose the game that mean for skill not luck like poker
the chance winning is higher than you playing some other game that face the owner bot
Sports betting has always been profitable for most gamblers and it's not about skill but more about knowledge. I agree that poker is a luck based game but still gambling is all about luck. May be the knowledge based gambling turn profitable in long run.
There are other games that give you rewards for winning the maximum score but they aren't gambling ones and completely dependent on skill. But when ever you go with skill in both gambling and non gambling, you definitely end up in profits with long run.
10818  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 23, 2016, 11:23:38 AM
-snip-
I believe it's tome for switching over to digital gold.
Bitcoin not digital gold.It is decentralized currency.
Basically bitcoin is designed by keeping gold in mind. Here are some similarities....
1. Mining
2. No fixed price, based on demand.
3. Limited supply
4. Border-less, international medium of exchange.
Bitcoin many times is referred as gold2.0 or digital gold.
Mining is the more than enough proof, the basic design aspects of bitcoin how it coincides with gold. Nice similarites. Now we got good reasons to choose bitcoin over gold.
10819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: February 23, 2016, 10:36:51 AM
I have not yet planned up for my retirement but when I plan up I will go diversify my investment with bitcoin and gold. But surely bitcoin will occupy more than 70% of my investments but no fiats at all.
It is definitely more safe if we diversify our investments with proper planning. I'm also not ready to save my money with fiats. I just want to save all my money only with the bitcoin. May be real estate and gold also good but only in small amount.
I too strongly believe bitcoin would be the best option for our retirement plannings because the future of the bitcoin is
more brighter than any other investment. So, planning up your retirement account with bitcoin will make your money to grow rapid.
10820  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: February 23, 2016, 09:05:00 AM
I came to figure out, why would a consumer/customer use Bitcoins?
You have to pay the 3 cent fee, while you dont have to pay anything when paying with a credit card.

So what is really a benefit for using Bitcoins, customer wise?
i think we are paying extre charge with bitcoins but its safer then using cc. we will have a huge transperacy network where we can see that where the shopkeeper is sending our coins.by the way peoples now days loves to use bitcoin
Whether we use credit cards or debit cards, we overpay at times due to the taxes which is not the case with bitcoins. I do agree that websites need to give their users a benefit of paying via bitcoins.
If customers get to know that they don't need to pay any tax while paying in bitcoins, they would definitely find it more beneficial to pay in bitcoins as the fee is nothing compared to taxes and other fees we pay while making payments.
