1101  Other / Meta / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: February 14, 2018, 09:58:19 AM
I don't think the people already aware of the system need a reminder for this, and the ones who are not, they don't really care.
No one doing something against the rules of a community can hide forever. So the ones trying to sell or selling Merits would eventually be revealed and they will have no other way than leaving the forum for good. Creating new accounts won't help in this case as Merits are not gained automatically, but they are to be earned manually by efforts, and someone having enough knowledge to contribute something to the community would never need to sell Merits for a few bucks.
1102  Other / Meta / Re: Over 20 million views on: February 13, 2018, 11:59:23 AM
Who doesn't think that this forum is popular for any kind of Bitcoin discussions? Isn't near 2 Million account sign ups enough to prove that? Do we really need to use threads as references to demonstrate the popularity of this forum to people? I know that there are no limitations on creating accounts, so anyone can have any amount of accounts in here, but despite that fact, I think 2 Million is a very large number.
1103  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India's largest company Reliance planning for its own virtual currency on: February 13, 2018, 11:07:53 AM
Have no points regarding the topic, but I guess this thread does not belong to this section. It has nothing to do with Legality, but it is more of a discussion. So maybe you should take it out from this Child board and post it in Bitcoin Discussion.
1104  Other / Meta / Re: Too much censorship going on here. on: February 12, 2018, 01:27:08 PM
What's the relation between your off-topic bans and that article you posted?  Huh
1105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very Important Tips on Bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 12:14:56 PM
Where the hell did you get all this information from? I was tired of searching but wasn't being able to find any of it. I'm really thankful to you man!
I really wish I could say that, but unfortunately, none of the things you stated sounded really new/helpful to me. All I could find in your tips was an unsuccessful attempt to attract people and get some Merits for starting a helpful thread, which it isn't.
How did you assume/think that when the Bitcoin downtrend ends, the Altcoins will rise? As long as I know (by seeing the markets in different exchanges), Altcoin prices move with the price of Bitcoin. I have never seen an Altcoin going up when Bitcoin is down. If you watch exchanges regularly, the prices are mostly all red when Bitcoin is dropping, and they get yellow (or whatever color exchanges use for +%, I use Binance and they use yellow). So I don't think that point is even valid. Though it is true that people should not panic, but I don't recommend anyone holding their Altcoins when the price of Bitcoin is dropping with the hope of a rise as soon as the price of Bitcoin stops at a point.
1106  Other / Meta / Re: I've still got 80 sMerit to give away. on: February 08, 2018, 03:52:46 PM
Hi Jet Cash.
I was just surfing the threads and saw your thread about rewarding Merits to deserving posts. As you and all of us have already seen the value of Merits already, I want to get as more of them as I can, and I won't leave a chance for doing that.
So, I won't ask you to give me Merits for no reason because I need them, because I don't, but I just want you to have a look at my posts from my profile and see if you find something worthy. And, don't tell anyone if you find nothing there.  Grin That was a joke, of course.
1107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Member Introduction on: February 08, 2018, 03:45:00 PM
.....and see if I am able to take this anywhere.

I think you are already good to go. You got 3 Merits for your starting post, and the forum is all shouting about Merits these days. I'm sure you have already heard and read about the system (Merit System) so I won't go to that side. All I want to say here is what you have been doing is what all of us do when we start something new. No Legendary member of this forum have had the same experience or rank from the day they got into this crypto train, but they all earned them with the time. So just keep asking reasonable questions, and you will surely learn the things you need to in no time.

P.S: Welcome to the forum.
1108  Other / Meta / Re: The Advantage of Merit System for our froum on: February 08, 2018, 03:15:47 PM
I'll be totally honest with you, what you posted is totally unnecessary, and if you are doubtful let me clear you, you won't get Merits just for starting new threads, but there should be something for the community in it. No posts repeating the same, usual and clear-to-all concepts are liked by anyone. Try to find a discussion where you know you can add something which has not been added yet, and give it your best shot. That is the only way you can earn Merits.
Take the advice, do what I said.

P.S: We already know everything about the system, all of us.
1109  Other / Meta / Re: [LIST] USERS THAT ARE ABUSING MERIT SYSTEM on: February 06, 2018, 01:41:43 PM
Exchanging Merits. Possible alt accounts. Their way of typing, and most of their posts in the Altcoin section, along with the fact of Meriting each others shit posts definitely indicate that either the accounts are being operated by the same person, or they have discussed to exchange Merits. In both ways, I believe they are abusing the system.

1110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get out while i can on: February 06, 2018, 01:18:04 PM
Nothing to say. Never thought it would drop to this point so quick, but as it has always been tagged to be "unpredictable" so yeah, that is what unpredictability is. I personally have exchanged some of my coins to USDT while the price was dropping, thinking that I will buy back when it starts growing again. Now that would save me from more loss if the price drops, and I can get profits too if I buy when it starts to grow. So you can try the same if you want. Don't just cash them out, but exchange them to a currency which is stable and buy back when you think the time is right.
1111  Economy / Services / Re: open again: Merit System Upgrade in Altcoin Section: Receive Merit from me on: February 06, 2018, 01:04:36 PM
Check my account if i desire to merit my post.

"Check my account if you* desire to Merit my posts."
That is just a correction. Anyway, I think he can see your trust rating without having to open your account, and I doubt anyone would waste their Merits on someone who has negative feedback as it has no point to even rank up if you are not trustworthy. You have the same value, which is "no value", if you either have a negative trust being a Legendary member, or having a neutral trust being a Brand new.
1112  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Should we pay taxes on Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2018, 09:20:58 PM
Keep your Bitcoins to yourself, and you have your liberty. No government can charge/is charging a person for just keeping Bitcoins to a wallet, or trading them on an exchange online, but you get to their territory when you reach out to a bank account to get your cash earned through Bitcoins, and that is where you are charged. So basically the taxation might not be for Bitcoin in most countries, but it is for the money you are receiving in your bank accounts which you can't hide from authorities. You can also not say your account number was stolen by someone and they sent the money Grin yeah I know that was a bad joke, sorry.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin downtrend will stop at the level...vote!! on: February 02, 2018, 11:27:29 AM
On what calculation bases have you come up with just two options? And why these two? I don't really know if the trend will continue for very long or it will end again soon, but I also don't think someone can predict a certain point of value where it will stop. It can go down to $2k, or rise up again to the same level where it stayed for a while, around $13-$14k. But I really want to know if there are any calculations or speculations you have considered before reaching to this conclusion.
1114  Economy / Services / Re: Free FIXED match ! Hurry up on: February 01, 2018, 07:32:25 PM
Okay. So why don't you send me 0.1 BTC which I will place on the team you mentioned, and we will split the profit as it is a guaranteed win-win for us if the match is fixed.  Roll Eyes
1115  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Stuck TX on: February 01, 2018, 01:22:01 PM
No matter how down the fees get, paying 5sat/B is still not recommended if you want your transaction to get confirmed earlier. Miners don't include transactions with micro fees to their blocks and it causes the transactions to get stuck for a very long time. I think it is better to pay the recommended fees than paying a accelerator service to push the transaction. Anyway, you should try https://pushtx.btc.com/ or http://confirmtx.com/. Maybe one of them can do the work for you.
1116  Economy / Services / Re: 10$ per DAY METHOD! | 5$ on: February 01, 2018, 12:06:32 PM
Wait, isn't that a referral link you are sharing in your post?  Roll Eyes It doesn't make any sense. The banner says "No Referral Required" and the thread shares a referral link (it should not look like that if it isn't a referral link).
By the way, why are you sharing it here if you could yourself earn $10 a day for just 20 to 30 minutes of work?  Roll Eyes Since when did you become so kind to others?  Grin

1118  Other / Meta / Re: TMAN's Level up challenge.-- UPDATED... on: January 30, 2018, 07:04:17 PM
Took me a while but I was finally able to scroll through post history of users who expressed interest in accepting TMAN's challenge.
Basically cry4crypto was in fact the only sane choice, however merited by OP so someone else would have to be picked.
Second place and a small merit bump, up to 90% required for level up, goes to:
Alone055 - this users was my choice.
Mostly for rebuking one person for posting in the wrong section. Hope that those merits won't go to waste Mr Alone055 Wink
There's still long way ahead of you. Your initial post few weeks ago where a lot better so...get back in to shape?
Anyway, list of participants so far:

See ya next month!

That was sweet!  Cheesy Thanks man. And of course, I'm always trying to be better when it comes on contributing to discussions. Hopefully I can keep it up and keep getting attention from my Seniors like you.  Cheesy
1119  Economy / Services / Re: [Campaign] EARN 0.000025 BTC per POST on: January 30, 2018, 06:57:51 PM
The title Probably doesn't say it is a signature campaign, nor I can find any signatures in here, but it can't be some other campaign if it pays for posting. A lot of confusions here.
A campaign with nothing else then a joining form and a spreadsheet. No specific rates, no rules, not even a proper manager. And the most surprising think I guess is that it says you can join even if you are in a signature campaign already.
OP obviously needs to clear a lot of things here, or the only place this campaign belongs to is the trash folder of this forum.

Edit: Just found OP offering Member signatures for 0.005 BTC ($49+) Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2851074.0  Roll Eyes
Isn't that insane?  Huh
1120  Other / Meta / Re: What are the negativities of Merit system[UPDATED] on: January 29, 2018, 09:48:14 AM
Well, I believe the ones finding it difficult to be constructive enough to get Merits will find the system negative. Others are taking it as a positive feature for the betterment of this forum.
