1121  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Iancoleman users I want answers on: January 16, 2023, 06:52:43 PM
You can't be sure. It's never recommended to use it online but since the site is 100% open source (as you can see at the bottom of the page) you can download the source code and run it offline locally[1].

1122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: January 16, 2023, 04:40:47 PM
I've tried topup-balance once, their fees are slightly higher than the other sites and payment process is a bit of a hassle since their copy address button doesn't work so the only way to pay is to scan the provided QR code.

Coingate is also listed in the Binance directory and they have an impressive variety of gift cards. I used them a few times to buy gift cards that were usually out of stock on other sites.

I'll make sure to add coingate after checking their limits and KYC policy.

Thanks for checking top-up balance as well. I just took some time to browse the site, and it appears that this is not the only problem they have.

https://twitter.com/ArjunKharpal/status/1613922200842833921?s=20&t=6kv4iln5rlfyxrkyRlZLfQ

1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Automated Checkout For Wordpress Does This Exist? on: January 15, 2023, 09:04:31 AM
The problem being electrum does not have USDT acceptance, while besides this BTCPayserver accepts connection of Cobo valult, Coldcard, Wasabi, Specter desktop, and Passport not sure if any of these wallets are similiar to electrum which runs on your laptop but can accept USDT deposits??

Although some of the wallets you mentioned do support USDT, you won't be able to use that with BTCPayServer. You can only connect your bitcoin wallet.

I also saw another thread about omniwallet & coinomi but not sure if they support automated checkout with verification if coins recieved and mark order as completed once it verifies on wordpress website? Also not sure if they have any intermidiary charges and centralization as the other services I described earlier?

They don't. Omniwallet and Coinomi are wallets and not payment processors.

I suggest you check Coinbase Commerce. It has a WooCommerce plugin[1], they have a self-managed solution, and accept BTC as well as stablecoins but the fee is a bit high compared to what you found (1%).

1126  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Unusual issues with Trezor Suite on: January 14, 2023, 05:33:18 PM
Have you tried the web version to see if the problem persists?

I found this and it looks a bit similar to what you're dealing with[1] (although I'm not sure if you had the same problem with other apps, when Trezor suits runs in the background).

Do you know if spectrocoin or wagecan are trustworthy?

I couldn't tell you much about Wagecan but for Spectrocoin, using them may not be a good idea: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=816438

And I could be wrong but I don't think the cards are available worldwide. I believe it's just some of their other services (exchange, custodial wallet, etc.)
1130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [P2P]Is there anyone who knows good bank for P2P trading ? on: January 13, 2023, 09:22:42 AM
Now the only solution i see is to sell Crypto for other crypto in such localbitcoin or localmonero but on these ones u need to have a good reputation to have buyers..

How do you do guys to make it possible to do it without getting blocked everywhere ?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. How is exchanging your crypto for crypto a solution to the problem you're having with banks?

I could be wrong here but isn't BNP Paribas a crypto-friendly bank? Either way though, if you're going to trade with large amounts, you should expect the bank to ask you questions.

1133  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Sending wallet still says "pending" even after the receiving wallet shows receip on: January 12, 2023, 03:55:55 PM
Some wallets require a certain number of confirmations before marking the transaction as "complete". That's probably why your Jaxx wallet is still showing pending.

You should check the TXID in a block explorer to see if the transaction has been confirmed or not. If it is, then you're good, you should be able to spend these funds.
1134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [P2P]Is there anyone who knows good bank for P2P trading ? on: January 12, 2023, 01:32:58 PM
Have you looked into Wise? (if you're a resident in a supported country):

You can receive money to your Wise account from a platform that deals with cryptocurrencies — as long as the platform is regulated and/or supervised in the EU or UK.

I'm not entirely sure if trading on a regulated platform like Binance P2P would fall under this category or not since you'll be dealing with other individuals and not Binance itself, but If I would guess it's fine. If you decide to go this route, you should make sure to only accept money from users whose names match in both Wise and Binance, , otherwise, it would be difficult for you to later on prove that the funds are coming from Binance.

Update: According to the bankruptcy attorney, FTX managed to recover 5 billion $[1] in both cash and liquid cryptocurrencies and securities.

What happens when you're trying to open the wallet again? any errors? Maybe you can try to update your wallet if it's not updated already. If that doesn't help, you should reach out to the support[1] or a post in the forums[2]

1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Questions of the day concerning Bitcoin payment on: January 11, 2023, 09:10:36 AM
Is increasing gas fee for BTC the only way to speed up its transaction speed? Also how can one use a lightening network in a BTC wallet? I've heard about this but I don't know so much about it..

Yes, if you want your transaction to be confirmed as soon as possible, you have to pay higher fees. See here[1]. I'm not sure which wallet you're using, but not all wallets support LN. If you want to experiment with it, I suggest you go with Bluewallet. It's pretty simple to use.

Apart from Bitcoin is it fine to add other coins as a means of payment in your local business? Is this fine or it's better to stay with Bitcoin only.

It's up to you what you want to accept. If you're planning to use a payment processor and automatically convert your crypto to fiat, then the more the better I guess... otherwise, you should probably focus on what you're interested in holding. Here's a list of payment processors[2].

1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Oh boy, I've got wallet.dat on: January 10, 2023, 06:39:19 PM
I'm guessing you don't have bitcoin core installed? If not, install and run it, you can then go to the following path:

Code:
C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin

Rplace the wallet.dat with the one you have and then restart your wallet.
1139  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: January 10, 2023, 04:39:03 PM
I live in Paraguay. I can't find any working card? Sad
I went through the list and almost none are available outside EU, US, UK, and a couple of other countries. Paycent seems to be available but search results indicate it's a scam.

Which cards can you recommend?

Advcash launched a couple of cards (Crypto world, and Global UnionPay) and then stopped shipping the cards. The last time I checked, they said they'll be available again soon. Maybe you can check their site or reach out to them for an ETA.
1140  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I need to ask you guys this question on: January 10, 2023, 01:31:13 PM
No, not as far as I know. If you cancel the order before its filled, then you shouldn't be charged anything.
