One more than I think I need.

At least 13 or so:
https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/nodes/1408261895/?q=/btcwire:0.1.4/btcd:0.8.0/

I have used it for a while and if anything it seemed to use less memory.

Just have the user sign a challenge message before changing the address to a new one.

Yeah. So just so that I understand right, we send the user a signature that he/she should sign the old address and the new one...correct?

Some sites use Google Authenticator to allow you to change the address. Some others use email confirmation on top of that.

Also, might be of relevance: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Exit_Address

4HR. MACD crossover confirmed  Cool

Rocket incoming!

4HR is too short.

Many "mights" in there.
1126  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 16, 2014, 06:06:34 AM
speaking of metallic trezors... The plastic case will be damaged if it's opened. How is the metallic one built / assembled?
1127  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: "Armory.QT.exe stopped running" Error Please help on: August 16, 2014, 05:55:48 AM
Armory has its own forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=97.0

AFAIK their preferred way of getting support is via the support system either via the software itself (which probably won't work for you) or https://bitcoinarmory.com:8443/

Just go on http://www.fiverr.com/ if you are looking for translations and are willing to compensate. They take bitcoin too.

To get an idea how many words you have to translate: http://www.wordcounttool.com/
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any volunteers who could help me to make Bitcoin node? Thanks! :) on: August 16, 2014, 04:42:37 AM
I can help you with that. Building / running bitcoind won't interfere with your server. You can run it with some niceness, so other tasks get priority CPU wise. If you want prioritize the bandwith too, it gets a bit more complicated (I'm not sure if trickle works on that OS, but if it does that would be easiest). If you have a firewall installed you will need to open port 8333.

Some more example stats here:

Edit: You don't mention how much hard drive space you have available.

1130  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: why isnt mining.bitcoin.cz receiving Mhash/s? on: August 16, 2014, 04:26:10 AM

You are mining with a very low hashing rate. It will take a good while to show up.

You don't mention if you have port 8333 open.

"In" for that time frame sounds about right. "Out" depends on your peers as Kluge mentioned.

Does the newbie jail still exist?

I thought I saw a few newbies with 1 or 2 posts outside of the beginners forum.

It's been gone a while, unfortunately. Instead of having useless posts in a single forum section, we now have them everywhere.

There should be a ignore filter, where everyone who doesn't have Full Member status or is whitelisted can be ignored.

The newbie jail worked fine I thought.
