Found one more on the first page of his post history:

one of the secrets of success is
They have a vision.
According to Warren Bennis's classic On Becoming a Leader, leadership is "the ability to translate vision into reality." This means that success begins by answering the fundamental question, What do I really want?

Whether you call an answer to that question, your mission statement, core values, brand identity, or just your goals are not too important. Because "roses with other names will smell nice."

This is how Bennis unravels the idea: The leader has a clear idea of what he wants to do - professionally and personally - and the strength to survive in the face of setbacks, even failures.

The key word is "clear." And clarity means writing it down.

In fact, like SUCCESS.com's infographics on the habits of the richest people in the world shows, the two most statistically significant factors that make the richest people separate from others is that 81 percent of them maintain a to-do list and 80 percent focus on achieving a particular goal....

Source he used:
https://www.success.com/article/4-secrets-of-insanely-successful-people

He is so dumb that he even didn't edit the copied content and pasted it just like that, which is so clearly noticeable from the second last line of the post where "SUCCESS.com's infographics.." is written which in the original article is a link to that website's (SUCCESS.com) infographic about what is mentioned.
Such lazy people should not be allowed to post. There should be steps taken for such plagiarism, immediately.

Thank you, now I have what I need to proceed.

---snip--

Just curious , Will you ask for ban for this user or not , Is 32.1% matching can cause ban?
I think if we read some articles and try to express ourselves then we can match that much % (as this article will remain active on your sub conscious.)

No, I wont personally be requesting a ban for this user at this point.  As I said I personally need to be very confident before I will request a ban.

Ultimately I don't want to "ruin' any users account, especially an innocent user.  If I request a ban I am expecting to end up being challenged about it (by the user).   I want to be able to pull out the post and the source link so that I can effectively and quickly refute the challenge and move on to the next task at hand.

Honestly I think this user is a shit posting plagiarist and is here solely for the bounty and sig campaign money.  I also think it's difficult to refute this.  I also think as I pointed out in this users case he has sub par English at best for almost every single post and then all of a sudden comes out with better English in a summation than most fucking native speakers could do.  He has a connected group of alts sucking off the bounty tree.  The users intentions speak loud and clear IMO.

I admit I could be wrong so I don't think it makes sense for me to go any further although I do wish I could.
1124  Other / Meta / Re: Almost perfect English 1 post vs broken English all other posts, plagiarized? on: April 30, 2018, 06:52:16 PM
According to edubirdie, the post is 32.6 % similar to this link: http://listverse.com/2016/06/19/10-fascinating-theories-to-explain-deja-vu/

To me it seems like this person made an attempt to summarize the idea behind the article, touching some key points but leaving a lot of information out.

I could actually believe that if the English in the quoted post matched even a little the rest of the user's post's.

I am very careful to make sure when I request a ban , which is why I opened the thread instead of requesting the ban based on this little bit of evidence.

The post quality does not match up, if we look at the users post history it seems clear he does not have the require English language skills to write such a summation...  IMO

I won't request a ban for a user unless I am very confident, as I wasn't in this case I asked for the communities assistance and it has been very helpful!
1125  Other / Meta / Almost perfect English 1 post vs broken English all other posts, plagiarized? on: April 30, 2018, 01:55:02 PM
I can't find any source, can anyone help out?  If we can find source material I can request a ban.  Thanks.

Based on this users post history it seems virtually impossible that this is his own material.  Just look at the last sentence compared to the rest of the post if you don't feel like looking at his post history...

To date, there are approximately 40 theories, which try to explain why Deja Vu can happen. One theory explains that Deja Vu is associated with epilepsy. According to this theory, Deja Vu occurs, because of the seizures that occur in the temporal lobe of the human brain, as happens when people are experiencing epilepsy, which then leads to a complete loss of concentration, and ultimately makes people experience dejavu.

Then another theory that explains Deja Vu, is the theory of Familiarity Based Recognition. In essence, this theory explains that Deja Vu, occurs because we do not recognize the object we meet, in full.

For example, one day we are somewhere, and someone is wearing clothes that interest us. Then the next day we go elsewhere, and it turns out we see someone wearing the same clothes. Then suddenly comes our familiar sense, with the place, we feel like we've been to that place, but we're the first time to get there.

According to research, Deja Vu is often experienced by people who frequent the streets, often watching movies, and often dreaming. It happens because they remember the objects in their experience, so generally when they encounter new situations, these objects make them finally dejavu.

hopefully answer your question
1126  Other / Meta / Re: Identifying plagiarism if poster is active on multiple platforms. on: April 30, 2018, 12:10:53 AM
What about the other bit? I've added my Steemit name to my profile as I suggested. Is this something that others should do if they are active on other platforms?

That is a good idea.
You can also put it in profile> Personal Text so that readers can immediately identify that you're also the author of the said article from the other platforms.

I can put anyone's user name from steemit on my PT and then C/P from his work and claim it as my own.  I can't see how we can easily authenticate who the author is based on this alone.

The chance of being banned and subsequently the low chance of it being overturned and the chance it could take a long time really seem to suggest that its better safe than sorry (Source: momma used to say it!).

If your a really high profile member of the BTC community and you have a working online presence in multiple platforms it might make sense to authenticate all the platforms with your real identity.

I'm sure there are lots of ways to authenticate (anonymously if so desired) cross platform ownership but I don't see there being enough people doing it for the global mods to be checking authenticity of source material ownership this way.  It's easy to nuke someone based on timestamps and links.

Of course the obvious problem to self citation is it could easily be abused by self promoters.  I think over time someone like that could be flushed out by noticing them citing the same source over and over again but it's at least fair to say it opens the door for some type of abuse.

Slippery slope indeed mate!

1128  Other / Meta / Re: How can you know the reason of banned? on: April 27, 2018, 02:11:55 AM

Good morning Sir Flying Hellfish. I would like to apologize regarding this and I swear that I will avoid it now with this new account. And won't forget again to include the site.

Thanks again.

I'm genuinely curious, did you take a few minutes since your ban and read all the rules of the forum?

I'm also curious to know if you have posted with this account outside of this "appeal thread" since your ban?

Lastly do you have any idea why I might be asking about where you have been posting since your ban?
1129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: April 27, 2018, 01:30:59 AM

Really?  Can someone make a good point about the existence of Santa Claus?

You never know man, you never know..

Hmmm, if you ever get one, post it.  I'll find it interesting, as will millions of scientists.  Smiley

lol I'm still laughing! I think it's safe to play the odds on the santa story, oh man LOL!  You guys are the best!

This account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1773379
The only pop up was this.
"Sorry nellycanezo, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com".

Maybe at least they give me the link reason of my banned so that at least I know it. T.T

I can't un-ban you, so don't bother asking me if I can do anything for you.  I did not request your ban either.

Your post history on that account is FULL of plagiarized posts.  You didn't make a mistake, you intentionally took someone else's work and tried to pass it off as your own.  In my personal opinion you can kindly fuck right off and won't be missed by anyone.

If you wish to appeal your ban you already have the information to do so.

1132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why isn't atheism classified as another religion? on: April 26, 2018, 02:20:24 PM

''The uneducated people listen to Bible readings, or read the bible if they have a little education'' and believe it without any proof because they are not smart enough. That's why people with higher IQ tend to believe less in gods. It's what it is badecker, the more stupid you are the more likely you are to believe in god. Don't be mad.

Actually that is not entirely accurate.

The distribution of atheist intelligence
https://voxday.blogspot.com/2014/01/mailvox-distribution-of-atheist.html?m=1

I can agree that it isn't 100% accurate to say  "the more stupid you are the more likely you are to believe in god." but I would argue that your chart supports the statement "That's why people with higher IQ tend to believe less in gods.". The hockey stick red line past 100 IQ (the avg IQ) is not easy to miss.

I have a problem with the chart though. Sub 70 IQ is considered dull.  Statistically, above 130 and below 70 have the same % of people (and are a statistically insignificant number of people, less than 5% total).  Why did they leave out the above 130 IQ but leave in sub 70 group, why did they only include part of the "bell"?  I surmise that they needed a big dropping red line somewhere to combat the lower intelligence = more theistic argument and found one the only place they could, in dullards...

To be fair present the proper distribution and remove the sub 72 on that chart and see what it looks like again.  This is so typical of an agenda driven presentation.  lol at using less than 2.5% population to argue anything about what is typical (read average).

It is crystal clear and supported by even your supplied skewed agenda driven chart that "people with higher IQ tend to believe less in gods."

Edit:  I read the chart like this.  As you go from dull to average (70-100) or in other words everyone below average intelligence you are more likely to be theistic.  As you go from average to genius (100-130)  or in other words above average intelligence tend to be less theistic.

I haven't checked to see what happened ti the initial sMerit allocation, but it might be interesting ti see where they went, and when.

From the post history it doesn't look like the account was very active in 2017.  He likely didn't get much smerit in the initial distribution.

What fucking planet did I just land on?

How many planets are there again?  I thought the dome was covered with projections and outer space doesn't exist?

Or does the word planet mean something different to flat earthers, like how you change gravity to buoyancy and density LOLOL and pretend it means something else entirely!

Your body is displacing the atmosphere, unlike a hydrogen balloon it's more dense than the atmospheric medium. How does this change anything?

So how many planets are there?

I kept it simpler this time I wouldn't want you to use both your brain cells at once!
1138  Other / Meta / Re: It's no wonder we are infested with bounty and airdrop spammers on: April 23, 2018, 05:37:51 AM
Supply and demand is perhaps one of the most fundamental concepts of economics and it is the backbone of a market economy.
Supply - We created merit we had to expect such great demand for this product
Demand - In this period the demand is very high in merit, and we will get these videos and shitty posts.
The relationship between demand and supply underlie the forces behind the allocation of resources. In market economy theories, demand and supply theory will allocate resources in the most efficient way possible.

A, B and C are points on the demand curve. Each point on the curve reflects a direct correlation between quantity demanded (Q) and merit (P). So, at point A, the quantity demanded will be Q1 and the merit will be P1, and so on. The demand relationship curve illustrates the negative relationship between merit and quantity demanded write created post and video. The less a person needs merit, the better the quality of his messages and post  (A), and the more a person needs merit, the more shitty messages he will write (C).

Did you just copy and paste this here??

BRB I'll go grab the source for you and then report you so you can be banned...

1140  Other / Meta / Re: @Admins: Merit not working as configured, trolls just don't care (no surprise) on: April 23, 2018, 02:16:15 AM
Merit system i dont know what is the reason why it have been created. To suffer the users?to find a merit? Or to make it in the same rank forever? It is hard to ger some merit if you are hard to speak in English and hard on the grammar. It is possible to remove this merit system?

Why do you need to rank up?  Surely as a newbie (and eventually a Jr. Member) you can still enjoy reading or learning about Bitcoin, you can post and interact with other members of the community.

Perhaps you could detail for us why not getting merit and not ranking up will make you have a bad user experience here.  How the lack of rank will inhibit your ability to learn and be apart of the crypto community?
