Its almost like the country was designed for people to come here from other places and become citizens.  If you could get rid of birthright citizenship (you can't, but lets assume you could), then how do you determine who is a citizen and who is not? Easy just like the rest of the world...the nationality of your parents. That's how it works here in Europe...eeeexcept for France and they are happy about it  Check those places called 'banlieues'. This is very problematic because there are millions of Americans who will have no way to prove their parents citizenship. It seems like it opens the door for people to be excommunicated for political reasons. I'm willing to bet Mueller is about to try a massive case right before or closely after elections. The right is trying to do their best to derail the whole investigation. Hell, even Trump's working to derail the investigation. Hopefully, we see some more convictions soon.  Mueller isn't making any indictments before the MT's. I would bet a lot of money on that. The MT's are not any kind of deadline for Mueller. While he is likely very conscious of not wanting to appear to affect the MT's and won't do anything before the MT's that doesn't mean he will do anything immediately after the MT's either. Reports are Mueller is looking hard at stone right now, it seems like a good guess he's the next level in the ladder. The special counsel has only been on the job for less than 18 months while that may seem like a long time it isn't in massive international investigations. I would be willing to guess that Mueller knows sooooooooooo much more than we can imagine, it would be awesome if the fucking dems could take the house so at least the will get to see the report (and leak it  hehehe) |

My question was if the republicans could remove birthright citizenship what would they do about the baby in this situation. Sounds like a pretty unique circumstance that could be interpreted by the courts if they were to go back to the original definition, or at least the definition that the author was trying to get across, as was stated before! For example John McCain (which is considered as a "hero" by many Democrats) has been "fighting terrorism" while being in a close friendship with Saudi Arabia. Maybe it is better to fight terrorism whey you are inside their system?
I'm sure that everything could be way worse if another candidate, which received huge donations from Saudi Arabia during her elections, won the elections.
