Expanse 2016 Roadmap

The roadmap looks great! Everything is detailed and shows the important stuff that will happen with EXP. I am still keeping an eye on it, since right now prices are cheap (considering it is still undervalued) but makes it a better choice than ETH. A pretty good feature that I am willing it to become a success is Borderless.tech  Smiley

Can MUE be also added to Chinese exchanges?  Roll Eyes
Would be great, if you know who or how, then have a go Smiley
My mandarin isn't great so I wouldn't know where to start Tongue

I will give a shot at Bitebi9 since it looks like a great exchange for MUE to be added in. This one looks very similar to Cryptsy exchange, so everything would be familiar in terms of interface and usage. Chinese are good investors, so hopefully MUE will gain their attention.  Smiley
11203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: February 02, 2016, 12:36:16 PM
We need TEK on C-CEX asap, before permanent damage is caused.

Get your shizzle together peeps.

Even on Yobit it would do much better than craptopia

Agree. We need some better exchanges, because according to Coinmarketcap, there are only 2 exchanges and the one that has most trading activity is Cryptopia. Usually, I don't like Cryptopia that much, but if TEK could hit popular exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex, then I would definitely increase buy support for it. Times like these are better to buy as much TEK as you can and stake them for better profits. Let's vote for TEK to be added on Safe-Cex as well.  Cheesy

Great to see another exchange coming in for MUE. I think that it will have a positive effect in both price and trading activity. Can MUE be also added to Chinese exchanges?  Roll Eyes

Great to see the real CSC prypto card. And also the price has made a nice jump on the right direction. I was thinking that, at the moment all the buyers are CSC followers who were waiting for the confirmation that the CSC affiliate thing is real. With this we got the price to 30K sat. I wonder where the price goes when bigger investors and new btc comes on board after the official launch and press release. Also considering the thin sell wall we have in alcurex, surpassing 1$ CSC value should be easy.

Good to see that after showing a sneek peak of the card, the price has been going up lately. I can't imagine when they are officially released. They would definitely attract some attention to both crypto lovers and mainstream users. I have no doubt that CSC will go to $1 or above,  since the price has been going all the way up,  especially in alcurEx.

Can't wait for CSC Poker to come out. This would definitely bring me back to my days at gambling.  Smiley

...nothing to see here... ...move along... ...these are not the coins you are looking for...

I can't imagine when most traders will want to ride the CSC train. This is very exciting. I guess that holding CSC has finally paid off, but I am waiting for price to increase a little more, and then I will sell some CSC.  Smiley
11207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Market OPEN on: February 01, 2016, 11:15:47 PM
I'm pretty active in the thread, but just for clarification, Slack channel is where I keep in touch live with the community. I use it on mobile too so I keep track of what's going on.

We have 39 members in a few days and the community is really nice. There are open invites if you'd like to join: https://warpslack.herokuapp.com/

Once we reach 100 members, invite will be only by manual email add. I want to keep a strong focused and supportive community.

That is good to hear. I will be joining Slack to keep up to date with Warp updates. An active dev is actually good for a coin to keep growing. Can't wait what will happen next for Warp.  Smiley
11208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED] Staisybit - Universal Online Staking Wallet on: February 01, 2016, 11:06:10 PM
Say, I have gotten interested into cloud staking recently. I want to know how long would it take to ROI with Staisybit or how profitable it is? Just asking for curiosity, since it is my first time opening up a wallet (XMG) in it.  Smiley

You have to do your own research in the coins itself and I wanna give you an overview for general understanding in investmentopportunities:

Following example:

Coin X with total amount of 100.000 has anual rate of 10% --> You reach in one year 213.842.

If you owned maybe 1% so your reward is after one year min. 2138,42 Coins! If this coin is worth $1, so u earned $2138. Is this coin only $0.01 worth, so only $21.38. I did this calculation in general, and didnt include our fees (we are in talks for changing our actual feestructure already)!

You have to know following things:

1. Your % owned coins from total amount
2. The coins specifications
3. calculating with our fees
4. and investigating our percentual shares you reached on staisybit.

In the result: We CANNOT give you an overview about investmentstrategies and buyopportunities.

If you are searching for a huge rewarded coin, so I would take DMDCoin or Quotient. If u r searching for a WEBSERVICE, which parks all your coins, because u need a clean running PC without paying electricity, and have no plans for staedy updates and coincontrols, so you can of course use coins for longterm.
A great option is, to use staisybit.com, because our devs are improving the coincontrolscripts daily to reach the most optimized results, than you always could reach on a local wallet.

Hope, I could enlighten you for a bit for PoS Coins in general!

Greetz
Steve

Thanks for clarifying my doubts about this. I guess it will all depend on the coin itself and your fees after all, so I will make a better research just to be safe. I already own some Diamond (DMD) so I wouldn't mind depositing a few into Staisybit.  Smiley
11209  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: February 01, 2016, 10:30:33 PM
Sad to hear you lost money on that one. I guess that with the current prices (that are somewhat low) it is harder yet. Have you tried POS coins? You can invest a little and not risk much. I love NETcoin for example, that provides some interest in the form of newly staked coins every few (six) hours.

Now that you mention PoS coins, a good way to earn some good profit is by investing into Tekcoin. Its price has gone down drastically which makes it a great choice to buy a huge stack of them while you still can and earn some pretty good stakes. The good thing about Tekcoin is that once you have some coins, just wait every 30 days for them to mature and earn some stakes.  Smiley

I was going to ask about how long would it take to ROI using cloud staking services like Staisybit? Is it profitable at all? Just asking because I want to start with this, however I tried something similar with a cloud PoS called Stakeminers, but unfortunately I didn't reach ROI. Any suggestions on this?  Huh

TBH, I can't tell you. Just started depositing my PoW rewards. So far, my stats look like this (fees will be deducted when you withdraw)
http://prntscr.com/9xg25j
http://prntscr.com/9xg29x

I suggest checking out their thread and ask what you want to know. They mostly replied very detailed.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1091402.0

Regarding Stakeminers...I never used it but read some strange stories and preferred to stay away.

Valid for all PoS services: Be very careful! Even if you see coins on "your" wallet/balance, you don't have control over the them (private key). The next morning they could be lost. The most secure way to stake is your own wallet but even that's not 100% secure. I recently found a post in an other coins' thread. Someone used a dedicated computer only to stake coins and lost all of them (as far as I remember caused by a security vulnerability in Teamviewer).

TL;DR
Don't deposit too much on PoS services, they could disappear from one moment to the next. And always check details about the fees (% of your PoS earnings and a withdrawal fee are usual) to avoid bad surprises.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with cloud staking. I guess that I would have to make a research before investing into this one. I have heard bad stuff about Stakeminers, and made me realize that I needed to proceed with caution when making investments into such services. This could be no different than cloud mining. (in terms of getting scammed) I will give a try to Staisybit and start off with a small amount of XMG just to be safe.  Smiley
11212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Market OPEN on: February 01, 2016, 09:57:13 PM
About faucet and dice game:

Faucet is run by a community member. I donated the extra ~620 coins from the stake test to its balance.

Dice game:
First, it's not my thing either. But I agree we need places to spend WARP. Second, it's a safe and clean code, no worries about that, but the design is outdated and will need improvement. Third, the bankroll is only 1000 WARP at the moment, which are my personal funds. Fourth, use at own risk, but if you see something buggy please contact me.

Thanks for the information. Even if you didn't do this, still it is great for the benefit of Warp. Say, I was thinking if maybe Warp could get added into a cloud staking service like Staisybit? I know you don't have to do anything with it, but I am just suggesting as it will really benefit Warp. I will try to contact the site manager and see how it goes.  Smiley

Not bad. Looks pretty cool if you ask me. Now this makes me more interested into CasinoCoin itself. Being the first day of the proposed launch date, which is February, I think this is a pretty good sign. Also, price seems to be heading north so that is a good sign. I knew it was going to be worth to hold my CSC all that time. Now I will buy more while I still can.  Smiley
11214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Market OPEN on: February 01, 2016, 09:46:04 PM

Things are moving quite fast and pretty well for Warp. Seeing it getting into exchanges fast, and a new faucet and dice game, makes me want to get more into Warp. I am currently staking some Warp I have bought lately, but I am going to buy more if everything continues to go well. Good development and community will make this coin reach new heights. Good job, dev! Looking for more exciting things like this.  Grin

exp would really shine now if there was a rise

Agree. Only time and good development will tell if Expanse will succeed or not. By the looks of it, EXP has a great dev team and community which will make it survive for long term. Usability is what makes it important to become successful, I think.  Cheesy

Say, does anybody know how could I find more nodes for EXP? I am only getting 4 peers by writing the admin.peers command, but I'd bet that there are more. If so, where could I find them and how to add them into Gexp?  Huh
11216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: February 01, 2016, 01:01:34 AM
I see that many people and shouting that Bitcoin is dead....negative posts are flooding the forums. But ask those negative thinkers that whether they have stopped accumulating bitcoin or not??

I guess no! Those who are spreading the negative news, they are still accumulating bitcoin. I really hate such hypocrisy.

Guys, stay with bitcoin and you will be rewarded nicely in long term. Time will tell.

I agree with you mate. I think they are spreading FUD about Bitcoin to make the price go lower so they could get BTC at cheap prices then sell when it gets pumped back up again. I will still be a holder and will sell some as soon as price resurrects, which I think that it would take place after the halving.  Grin

At now, 100 thousand or 200 thousand Vpncoins will have some chance,

Do I need to leave the VPNCoin wallet running 24/7 to receive better stakes or is it fine to have it at least open every 3 hours daily? Just asking because I am on a laptop and usually I can't leave it 24/7 due to the fact that it gets too hot. Also, how does VPNDial works? Sorry for my ignorance. I am just new to VPNCoin and it will take me a little while to understand it well.  Smiley
11218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: February 01, 2016, 12:49:00 AM
Any update?

As much as you are waiting for updates, there hasn't been much discussion about Gamecredits since the launch of the Turbocharged Grand Prix. Does anybody know when does the GP competition end? All of this was exciting, but the game still has a few bugs to be fixed. Sometimes, I wonder why GMC is undervalued. Price is extremely cheap.  Sad
11219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: February 01, 2016, 12:41:50 AM
What the hell is happening to Tek price on the new exchange , only down??

It keeps going down over these last days, making quick losses if you don't sell them on time. I have lost too many money because I have invested a lot into it when the price was double or triple the way it is now, but still I am not leaving TEK. I think it has a great potential to grow so I am hopefully waiting for its time to come by. Let's vote for TEK to get added on more exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex.  Grin
