12021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 10, 2015, 06:15:22 PM
I did make a very good amount of Bitcoins today. First, I’ve received earnings from signature campaign and then I got paid in BTC from my investments in shares. Everything is going well so far. I hope to make more BTC in the future.  Cheesy
12022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 10, 2015, 06:11:01 PM
It’s still very disappointing to see Monero’s price very cheap (due to loss of profit) but at the same time it could be good news as this makes an advantage to invest early on XMR for the next increase in price. I have the sense that next year will be a very good year for Monero. Just wait and see.  Roll Eyes

12024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: October 09, 2015, 12:40:20 PM
As I can see, the real best way to earn Bitcoins would be to get a job and invest your money in it. There's really no other way as quick as that. If you have a job, you could be investing 10% or even 20% from your monthly salary into Bitcoins. You could earn 1 BTC faster than spending time on faucets, playing Bitcoin games or signature campaigns.  Cheesy
12025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: October 09, 2015, 12:34:02 PM
Right now Expanse's price is a lot cheaper than it was before when it started. However, despite everything that Expanse has been blamed for (premine, difficulty, etc) I still have hope that Expanse will become stronger in the next year or so. I remember when Bitcoin was priced at around $0.07 per BTC when it first started and look at it now. It is the most valuable cryptocurrency around. So all I can say is that this is the beginning of a wonderful journey for Expanse and perhaps it will surpass Ethereum in the next years. The key here is patience and I'm still holding my EXP for the future.  Smiley
12026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Marketing: Is It Time? on: October 09, 2015, 12:11:54 PM
I think the perfect time for Monero marketing would be in the next year. As people become more concerned about their privacy (like NSA spying their activity) they would definitely be attracted by Monero's privacy features. The part of Bitcoin's block chain being a public ledger is probably not a good idea as anyone could trace your transactions (if they are able to link the public address with you) and know what you're doing. I describe Bitcoin as pseudonymous while Monero is truly anonymous. Just my opinion  Grin
12027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 07, 2015, 12:42:33 PM
I’ve been using Monero for some time now but there has been one thing that I really didn’t understand. Until today, I’ve been using MyMonero wallet to send or receive XMR, and I’ve been curious about the “Mixin” feature. What is it used for? Sorry for the noob question, I’ve never used it before. Would anyone like to guide me?  Huh

Apart from that, I'm hoping to see Monero to have a price increase in the next year. I have the sense that 2016 will be the year of Monero. Just wait and see  Cheesy

Eventually Monero will eliminate the option to use mixin = 0 to prevent linkable transactions. For right now choose mixin = 2 or higher and everything good

Mixin is the number of transactions already on the blockchain that your transaction is "mixed" with, in the sense that the transaction is signed with a ring signature that says "this transaction could have come from x number of inputs" where x is the mixin #.

Of course, someone may explain it better than me but I think that is the gist of it.

Thanks for sharing this info, guys! You're awesome. I'm going to set the Mixin to a value of 3 for all of my transactions from now on. That's a very nice feature from Monero.  Cheesy

I did earn a nice amount of Bitcoins (0.1866 BTC) luckily by selling one of my raspberry pis. And all of this was made by a local customer (not online) who preferred Bitcoin as payment method. It's good to see that there is somebody else who uses Bitcoin in my country. That means I'm not alone  Grin

From $ 400,238 to $ 188,169

you were pumping it

maybe you wanna explain something to the community who trust you...

Dude, you crack me up and actually I do have something to explain.

[...]

Ok, you finally get focused in what really matters.

Now, could you explain the community another couple of things?

1) This 2 new accounts making some hype

CscPR
GamingCoins

2) CSC Sponsored coin in Cryptsy (Hype)

3) You (as you said "the Dev") asking what the plans are. What kind of dev are you?

Cheers. How are you? Wink I'd love to hear what your plans are. Wink

BTW, I'm in Tokyo. So, there's a bit of a time difference.

Thanks for the reply, no problem will shoot you through what we are initiating during the week.

GC

4) You pumping the price

Network hashrate seems to be picking up again
http://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/casinocoin-network-hashrate-chart

Also price in Cryptsy has stabilized in 3K. Good starting point when some developments are published (new improved wallet, prypto cards, new webpage). Exciting times ahead.

3000 is a bargain.  People will start to realize that when casinocoin goes live with 16 fiat casinos on prypto's private exchange. A casinocoin is less than a penny and those casinos will be redeeming them at $1 each. You buy a 100 CSC prypto card and you can load $100 into a casino.  How long do you think CSC will stay at a $0.01? lol

As more information comes out over the next couple months, I think people are going to get it and you'll be unlikely to see 3000 ever again.

Well, this aint going anywhere. Goldseal, i tried to get involved, but there is no/less response. So please provide the ones that do love this coin with some sort of release date. Month/years sounds like crap. Cant believe 16 fiat casinos are just waiting without a deadline for some sort of background development process. I've seen 1 change in the past months, and thats my miningpool adjustment request.

A road map for CasinoCoin would be an excellent idea. That way we can keep track of what's going to be released (or developed) next. I still think that the price is dirt cheap, so it would be the best time to buy, because I think that price will rise if this coin gets adopted by major casinos.  Cheesy
12031  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: October 06, 2015, 07:46:26 PM
Depending on how many quality posts I make and my current rank, I can earn an average of $10 - $15 a week. That is if I'm very active on the forums and make good constructive posts, otherwise my earnings would be less. Now, I'm patiently waiting for my next rank update.  Cheesy
12032  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 06, 2015, 07:43:42 PM
If you want to become a millionaire, you have to save money as well as invest it. Let me explain. If you save money, you'll have that in reserve for emergencies (in case you lose your job) and ready to be used when the time is appropriate. Another thing is that by saving money, you will also accumulate wealth for you path to richness. Now the last part is to invest your money as well. If you don't invest your money you can't make it grow (think of it as planting a seed and pouring water into it to make it grow) and thus, you can't expand your finances. You will have the same amount of money over and over again. So my recommendation is to save and invest money at the same time. Keep this in mind when investing: Invest what you can't afford to lose. Just my opinion.  Grin
12033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 06, 2015, 07:36:08 PM
The best way to get people into Bitcoins is by advertising and offering them a small incentive by creating a wallet, joining BCT or other ways of which you can think of. With this in mind, people would get attracted by the offer and therefore they will join and refer others as well. And who can resist free money?  Roll Eyes
12034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: October 06, 2015, 07:34:01 PM
One of the things that make Coin Magi unique is that it is very resistant to ASICs and GPUs. That makes my life easier than having to purchase an ASIC or set up a GPU mining rig and compete with other's hashrate. With Magi's unique block reward, it gives control and flexibility to the rewards that you could earn by mining on a CPU. Therefore, that's why I chose Magi as my top CPU mining coin. I mine it everyday!  Cheesy
12035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitShares 2.0 on: October 06, 2015, 07:29:42 PM
I can't wait for the official release of BitShares 2.0. It's so exciting. If it manages to accomplish its promised TPS, then we're good. That would be a fair advantage against VISA, with the hopes of making crypto currencies mainstream in the next coming years. I can't imagine when BTS price would go up in the next months or year, so I think now is the perfect time to buy more, or else you'll regret it.  Smiley
12036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 06, 2015, 02:12:44 PM
I think that the future of bitcoins depends on many other factors.
Firstly the price should be more stable and increasing/decreasing slowly to get more people interested in this payment method.
If this is done then more e-commerces will implement it and boom, the price of bitcoin and popularity will be on maximum.

Yes. Price stability is the key for storing wealth.

That is true but did you ever thought about the advantages that volatile price have? This could benefit you from buying BTC at low prices and when the price is high, it could be a good asset to exchange for fiat. This makes you earn profit, but at the same time you could lose money too. If we had stable prices, we might not have to worry about price change, but you will miss the benefits of buying low and selling high. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes
12037  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US win the currency war? on: October 06, 2015, 02:09:30 PM
The United States of America has a strong economy (and it's been like that over years) but I'm afraid that in the near future, China might take its place with the Yuan. It will only take a matter of time until this happens (now that recently the USD has been declining) Even still, I think that Bitcoin could replace fiat currencies maybe in the next 5 years or so.  Grin
12038  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: October 06, 2015, 01:22:08 PM
A probable good way to earn Bitcoins would be to lend your BTC to someone else. This might be risky at times when the other person runs away with your money not paying the loan, but most times it works and the interest rate is very good. I think I'll give this a try  Roll Eyes
12039  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 05, 2015, 06:28:58 PM
I would rather prefer a Bitcoin wallet than a Bank account due to the fact that I would always have control of my own money, without ever having to worry about fees and the government with its regulations. That's why I'd prefer to invest in Bitcoins and store them on a paper wallet for maximum security and control of my money. Never have to worry about greedy banks again!  Grin
12040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 05, 2015, 06:19:28 PM
I see Bitcoin as the "Gold" of crypto currencies due to it's value and by being the pioneer of the block chain technology. Therefore, I always invest a small amount of money each day into it, for a hopefully increase in price. (not to mention my earnings from signature campaign and trading which is another thing)  Cheesy
