11741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: November 18, 2015, 04:28:05 PM
Whenever there is gambling, there is greediness. That is why I'm trying to stay away as possible from Gambling sites, as they usually turn me into a greedy person and waste most of my Bitcoins.  Grin
11742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: November 18, 2015, 02:17:52 PM
Litecoin is practically dead. Just look at it, there is no new development and no innovation at all. I think that the only thing Litecoin is good at is for trading and making some quick profit. Other than that, it is just another copy of Bitcoin.  Roll Eyes
11743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 20 llatops mining on: November 18, 2015, 02:13:08 PM
If you are going to mining effectively, try doing this on a desktop PC instead of a laptop, since laptops are not suitable for intensive processes due to their design (which limits good air flow to reduce the heat) A gaming desktop PC would mine lots of alt coins of your choosing. (especially if mined with GPU which are more effective than CPUs for this task).  Smiley

   - 3-rd year:  1%
   - 4-th year: 0.5%
   - 5-th year: 0.5%
   - 6-th year: 0.5%
   - 7-th year: 0.5%
   - 8-th year: 0.25%
   - 9-th year: 0.25%
   - 10-th year: 0.25%

2. 3 Hardcoded nodes

5. Make wallet to start from the first run (for new users)

Detailed information will appear later.
Stay tuned.

Wow. New wallet already? Way to go! This is really great. I'm so glad I'm holding this coin. It pays out dividends and it looks like it will continue to survive for the next years. Price is really cheap right now, and it would be the perfect time for me to buy more and become a shareholder. By the way, I was thinking if it was possible to stake Ambercoin with my Raspberry Pi 2?  Smiley
11745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 18, 2015, 02:03:43 PM
With a Bitcoin wallet, have a great advantage towards a bank account, for many reasons. Those are the ones that helped me choose a Bitcoin wallet over a bank account (although sometimes it is necessary to have a bank account as well).  Roll Eyes

The reasons are the following:

1. Lower fees than banks
2. Total control of your funds
3. Send and/or receive money almost instantly.
4. No limits or restrictions on the amount of money I deposit into.
5. And no central authority.  Cheesy
11746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 18, 2015, 01:59:07 PM
If you are into trading, you could make $1 easily by taking advantage of Bitcoin's price volatility. When price is low, invest some of your money into Bitcoin and then sell it when price goes a bit higher to make $1 or more of profits. This usually works more with alt coins, as I have seen some of them which are very volatile.  Smiley

That's very interesting what you write here.. I see that for you the most difficult aspect of trading is very easy. Can you tell us what or when Bitcoin price is in the low stage?

Based on my research, and analyzing the price everyday, I can see that the price goes lower most of the time especially at weekdays at night (between 8-9PM GMT -4) Each time, I check the price at Coinmarketcap, at the specified time, there is significant price reduction. Even still, I watch alt coins that are extremely cheap, but have a decent trading volume. Also, based on their graphs on Coinmarketcap, there is a pattern that indicates the price goes down, then back up again. Mostly, I choose the ones that have this pattern.

You can see example graph from below:

Hope this helps.  Smiley
11747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2015, 01:47:01 PM
The key to growing your Bitcoins is volatility. Even if you see it as a bad way (as price is not always stable) you could take advantage of this to earn profits if you know how to effectively trade your current stash of Bitcoins. I'm closely watching the price of BTC everyday, and making my move based on this "strategy".  Smiley
11748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 18, 2015, 11:53:21 AM

Now that is truly a crypto wallet. The design looks flawless, and also the idea of a dapp store is amazing. Can't wait for the official release of the Mist wallet as this would certainly increase Ether's price and demand.  Grin

BTW - It looks like we're down to the final polishing stages for the new client release. I think you guys will like this. Cheers

The new CasinoCoin wallet will be a true killer on the crypto scene. I can't wait for this one. Also, the addition of CSC to another exchange is pretty good news as now Cryptsy isn't the only one around. I'm glad to see CSC is going to the moon!   Grin

I have submitted the request to add Hyper to the Poloniex exchange. We will see how far Hyper would go in the next year. I can see it going to the moon already.  Cheesy
11751  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: November 17, 2015, 12:10:49 PM
Diversify your investments on reliable companies and save a quarter (1/4) of your earnings into a savings account. Then,  make a spreadsheet of all your income and expenses to keep track of your funds for a better financial life. Also, make sure to have an emergency fund, just in case you lose your job. Just my opinion.  Wink

When CasinoCoin would strike at $1 per coin, it will be the day that CSC would be widely used on physical casinos instead of fiat. As a result, the marketcap would increase and people would only gamble with CSC. This is exciting. Can't wait for Prypto  to make those CasinoCoin cards!   Grin
11753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 17, 2015, 12:01:06 PM
Okay.  I watched the Devcon Conference, got excited, and wanted to provide some support to the network.  I transferred some ether to one of the sites developed by one of the speakers invited to speak at Devcon.  The project is called "Gnosis."  It's a prediction market D'APP.  As far as I can tell it is a scam.  I bought shares in one of the markets and won but was not paid, answered, or even acknowledged in the site forum.  If Vitalik is so smart, why would he invite these idiots to speak at the conference?  I only wonder how many other affiliates of Vitalik are also scam artists....just beware of making investments into these projects, even if endorsed by Vitalik!

So this means that the Ethereum project is a complete scam? I don't know about you but, I think that most alt coins are scam. That is why I invest more on the oldest ones like LiteDoge, just to be safe. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes
11754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: November 17, 2015, 11:57:38 AM
This coin is at a floor now? I guess I will wait a bit longer. 4k seems to be as low as we get. There's still a long time before we see anything useful though. Maybe we can slip down more.

When are any of the funds going to be used?
There is no floor of the price if there is  no active development of the coin. The price depends on the community interest. If there is no use of this coin, and the developers are  not delivering anything useful, nobody will be interested in this coin. The floor price is 0. So the coin needs further developing.

There is still one good thing about Expanse, and that is the ability of buying gas (EXP) cheaper than Ethereum's Ether. That way you could develop dapps in a cheaper way, and test it exactly the same way as Ethereum, as Expanse has practically the same commands as its sibling. Right now, Expanse is really dirt cheap so it is the perfect time to grab some more.  Grin
11755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2015, 11:52:06 AM
The greatest ways to grow your Bitcoin to the moon would be to make your own faucet,  or a gambling. That way you will be always earning a good amount of Bitcoins directly to your wallet.  Cheesy
11756  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 17, 2015, 11:49:46 AM
I would prefer a Bitcoin wallet than a bank account for many reasons. One of them is the flexibility of having control of my own money, and second I don't need to worry about lots of fees like banks do. So, if Bitcoin were to used by many businesses physically in the world, I would replace my bank account to a Bitcoin wallet.  Grin

whats the price right now?

As of now, Coinmarketcap states that its current price is $0.022826 It is still dirt cheap, although sometimes I wish it would go even lower perhaps up to $0.01 so that I could buy lots of them. Still, it is a very cheap price and a perfect opportunity to hold them for the future and earn profits.  Cheesy
11758  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: November 16, 2015, 07:26:48 PM
A certainly good thing to buy with Bitcoin, would be mobile phone service. I can imagine paying in T-Mobile or maybe even AT&T with Bitcoins. It would be a dream come true.  Roll Eyes

Time to get into the exchanges and grab in some CasinoCoins. I have the feeling that this price would definitely rise as soon as Prypto makes CSC cards and more casinos get into the game. I'm so lucky I mined this coin, when it was apparently abandoned for a while (with development) and nobody cared about it. It's a good thing that CSC is back and ready to hit the moon!  Cheesy

Magi is still alive and kicking with fresh new stuff including the Android app, Proof of Interest campaign and many more. It is nice to see such a crypto currency to grow up and rise to the moon. Do you think that maybe someday Magi would be worth at least $1? Only time will tell but in the meantime it is best to mine and buy XMG.  Cheesy
