12061  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 21 Bitcoin Computer or Cloud Mining Website ? on: October 02, 2015, 12:03:01 AM
As a asset, the 21 Bitcoin Computer will depreciate in value, moments after you bought it... as a matter of fact, it's depreciating in value, while it's still packaged and on the shelf.

So even if you bought it as a asset to sell later, you will not get a lot for it and the amount of Satoshi's you make from it, will not lead to a ROI.

Cloud mining is proven Ponzi's... Good when you get in early and out fast... If you pull out to late, you will stand a chance to lose everything. So I would rather hoard the 2 BTC.

It's not because there's so many scam out there that all services are scam or Ponzi. Hashnest has to be legit and it's running on actual physical hardware and even though it IS setup to exploit people's money in a way that is safe(risk free) for Bitmain, it is by no mean a Ponzi.

Hashnest would be the only cloud mining service that I would invest on. I've seen that they will be adding the ability to purchase Antminer S7 hashrate soon. I'm keeping my eye on this one as they say that it is very energy efficient with low maintenance fees.  Cheesy
12062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2100 of year on: October 01, 2015, 07:40:33 PM
Bitcoin would be very valuable (around $2000 or $5000 per BTC) and admired by everyone around the world.

It'll take 85 years to go up by a factor of ten? That would make it one of history's worst investments.

What I stated before was just an estimate of how Bitcoin's value would be, but I guess that it would be far more valuable (perhaps more than Gold) when 2100 comes. It will be a very rare crypto currency by that time. If I were to live by then, I would sell some of my Bitcoins for profit. My ROI would be multiplied 10x, 100x or maybe even 1000x  Roll Eyes

Can anybody tell me where could I buy a physical Magi coin? I've always wanted to have it but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If such coin exists, let me know. This would be added to my physical crypto collection  Grin

There might be some websites/shops who are making those. If you find it I also would like to order.

something like this?

Exactly. Something like that. Did you made that by yourself? Looks pretty neat. I wonder how it would look on a physical gold or silver coin.  Grin
12064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: October 01, 2015, 02:51:37 PM
Bitcoin has been the very first decentralized crypto currency with a distributed public ledger or technology known as the block chain. It's been the most oldest and trusted crypto currency who started this revolution and eventually came up with the rise of new alt coins. It is the most widely accepted method of payment among merchants and it has the highest market cap among all cryptos. That's why I love Bitcoin since it's the pioneer of the block chain technology. Just my opinion  Grin
12065  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 21 Bitcoin Computer or Cloud Mining Website ? on: October 01, 2015, 02:47:01 PM
I'll just hold into my Bitcoins for a long time. There are various reasons to this. First of all, I think that the 21 Bitcoin Computer is too expensive for it's mining hashrate (which would probably be low GH/s) and second, I don't trust on cloud mining services anymore. I've been scammed to many times and lost huge amounts of profit over the last years. Sites such as cloudminr.io, GAW Miners and Hashprofit paid once in a time, but then they shutdown their services and ran away with the people's money. So in my opinion, it is recommended to hold onto your Bitcoins until it is the perfect time to invest. Patience is key here  Grin
12066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 01, 2015, 02:40:07 PM
You could probably earn $1 per hour if you have a high rank (such as full member, hero member, etc), join a signature campaign, and make a lot of constructive posts. Having this in mind you could be making an average of about $10 - $15 if you do it right. Just make sure to make good quality posts or else you'll be banned from campaign. Always find the highest paying signature campaign and you're all set!  Grin
12067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency are you using exept Bitcoin?why? on: October 01, 2015, 02:31:31 PM
Aside from Bitcoin, I mainly use 2 alt coins (among my huge collection) which are Litecoin and Dogecoin. The reason I use these is because they're the oldest (if I'm not wrong) and trusted alt coins out there. There have been many scamcoins around with greedy developers earning money from ICO and then running away (coin abandoned) That's why I've sticked to the mentioned coins and they're very likely to survive in the next few years, as to seeing other alts becoming dead.  Cheesy
12068  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: October 01, 2015, 02:20:26 PM
Lots of bitcoiners says they will buy a lot of bitcoin if the price fall into $100 but the reality is when the price become $100 they won't because they are thinking if it's still worth it to invest in bitcoin.

I have a feeling that the bitcoin price will be increased to much in the half of the next year.

The price probably will not decrease as the block reward will be decreased to 12.5BTC per block.
Yeah that's will coming soon, we all are waiting halving coming and want to see price increase after halving

I agree with you. The next halving is going to be big with a probable increase in Bitcoin's price. That's why even if Bitcoin's price is low these days, it is the perfect time to buy more. I have the sense that the price will increase soon around the year of 2016. Just hoping that it would be the year of Bitcoin, but it is really unpredictable.  Smiley
12069  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 01, 2015, 01:57:12 PM
Today has been a hard day for me as I didn't really make a decent amount of Bitcoins. I just made small amounts of satoshis from paid dividends of my Bleutrade Shares. They pay every 12 hours (if I'm correct) so at least I'll be earning something everyday. All these satoshis get accumulated and when you check your wallet, you're going to have some good profit. But all of this takes time, so Í just leave it and forget about it.  Cheesy

I sure would love to buy sex for Bitcoins. I don't think that such thing exists, but if it does, please let me know as I've always been a virgin....Anyways, I can dream, can't I?  Roll Eyes

There's a guy who makes physical poker chips of most cryptos. I think I will ask him if he could make a physical Magi crypto chip. By the way, here's the link to the site: http://cryptochips.net
Nice I saw that some time ago.
Would be nice. Keep us informed!

I've sent a request via email for the new physical Coin Magi crypto chip. I'll inform you for updates in the time being.  Cheesy

Thanks Abiky! Community activity is very powerful for a currency! Well done!

I've just received response from the guy who makes the poker chips of crypto currencies and this was his reply:

Hi, thanks for the request, but at this time I'm not currently making any new chips.

I guess that we'll have to wait until we would be able to see a physical Coin Magi ready for purchase. I'm still waiting anxiously for such release and if a gold or silver physical coin would exist, that would be awesome.  Cool
12072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethercoin | Redeemable 1:1 for ethers | Official Thread on: October 01, 2015, 12:20:55 AM
It's been 2 days since I sent ETC to the redemption address, but I can't see updates on the ethercoin.cc site. Balance still says zero. Am I doing something wrong? Below, is proof of transaction:

Please help!  Sad

I would like to know what is really going on here now that it's been a week since I've sent Ethercoins to the redemption address, but still balance has not been updated on the ethercoin.cc site. Is there something wrong? Where is the OP? I've sent him an email but no response up to this date. I might have the feeling that all of this was just a scam... Angry
12073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: September 30, 2015, 07:45:50 PM
Does all this mean that Banxshares is a scam? Please guide me to this as I have concerns regarding the legality of such service. If this turns out a scam, I would sell all my shares before I would lose any profit.  Smiley

How would you sell them?

I'm not really sure. I've heard rumors that you cannot sell your Banxshares but I haven't tried that out. I'll check this out as soon as I get home.  Smiley

12075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What features of Bitcoin would you never give up? on: September 30, 2015, 07:21:49 PM
Decentralization and current coin supply are features that I would never give up. Having control of your own money, instead of handing them over to greedy banks is a good thing to consider. There is no central bank or authority that would ever try to control Bitcoin. That's why decentralization is the most important feature that Bitcoin has. Another thing is current supply, although not much but it is the ideal supply of Bitcoins in existence to prevent inflation (which is an issue that fiat currently has).  Smiley
12076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 30, 2015, 07:13:37 PM
If you ask me about the future of Bitcoin, all I could say is that it is a very bright one. Right now, Bitcoin is suffering from low price and block size issue but just you wait and probably after the next 5 years, you will see Bitcoin rise and become very valuable. In the future, Bitcoin might be accepted as a form of payment from a vast majority of countries from around the world with faster TPS and confirmation times.  Cheesy
12077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of altcoins that can be obtained by gaming on: September 30, 2015, 07:05:10 PM
The problem is that the game would have to be good on its own, and use crypto to add to it, not to promote the currency. The games that now exists get no added value to the game from crypto, and the crypto gets none from the game, if I ever get the chance to create a game, this will be the first thing to consider. I think there is a lot of potential here, and maybe with indie devs getting more success we might even see something good.

Games such as Call of Duty, Titanfall, and other FPS ones should be included in the crypto world. Perhaps, one crypto (maybe Hyper) could be integrated with such games to increase popularity and awareness of people to get into cryptos (especially Bitcoin) That way, mainstream adoption would be faster than you could think of. There's been 3 gaming cryptos that I've been keeping my eye on and those are: Hyper, Gamecredits and GoldPieces.  Smiley
12078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology on: September 30, 2015, 07:01:15 PM
Blockchain is the original technology of Bitcoin that started it all. Since it's inception, there have been a wave of new alt coins (most of them are scam) and banks and companies gained interest on it's technology. Blockchain is revolutionary as well as Bitcoin, but sometimes I ask myself why banks are more interested in Blockchain instead of Bitcoin itself? Just opining here.  Grin
12079  Economy / Economics / Re: IBM working with US Federal banks to develop digital currency on: September 30, 2015, 06:53:54 PM
It's funny to see how the majority of banks and companies are interested only in the Blockchain technology instead of the coin itself (Bitcoin). And now, banks are trying to make a digital currency to have better control of your money and manipulate the price. A centralized digital currency might not be a great idea considering the fact that governments can spy you more on the public ledger. Still, this is some interesting news after all considering the fact that thanks to Bitcoin's technology, banks and companies such as IBM found inspiration to make a digital currency similar to Bitcoin. Just my opinion. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
12080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2100 of year on: September 30, 2015, 06:48:16 PM
The total number of Bitcoins that can be mined would be until the year of 2100. So I think, after all that happens, Bitcoin would be very valuable (around $2000 or $5000 per BTC) and admired by everyone around the world. Even if we won't likely exist around that time, whoever owns your Bitcoins by then would have made huge profits. Just my opinion  Grin
