12101  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN launches 4th generation Bitcoin mining ASIC: BM1385 on: September 29, 2015, 10:20:21 PM
I'm saving most of my earnings to get my hands on the new Antminer S7. The best thing about this miner is energy efficiency so I would save money and reach ROI in no time. This has been added to my wishlist. I think I'll be selling my good old Gridseed GC3355 to earn some extra cash  Roll Eyes
12102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Ethercloud.info - World's first ETH cloud mining service soon! [crowdfund] on: September 29, 2015, 10:10:17 PM
Same from my side, starting to be concerned.. No news on twitter, forum url on the page links to an email and the contact form is broken.
..ETH is falling so I'd rather start now then never...
..there was the info last week that the dashboard should come up by this weekend, but still no news...

----waiting......

....twitter account deleted.. Angry

Hmm. This looks very suspicious. Probably another scam like cloudminr.io, Hashprofit, etc History repeats itself and scammers can’t stop stealing people their money. At first, there weren’t any pictures or proof of owner, also considering the fact that OP rank is newbie which makes it very suspicious to offer a service with such account. We’ll see how this goes. Only time will tell.  Smiley

The simple and best method for new bie is faucet. For a learner signature camping is the better way to make some bitcoin. Else, we need a bitcoin oriented services to make handsome amount of bitcoin.

You can check for signature campaigns by checking in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

By the way, by "bie" I think he meant to say newbie. Hope this helps  Wink

12105  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2015, 02:21:43 PM
Right now, Bitcoin is very unstable so it would probably take another 4-5 years to really see an impact on it. Maybe the next year would be better, but nobody knows if it will be because crypto is unpredictable. Only time will tell if Bitcoin's price would reach $1000 and mainstream adoption  Roll Eyes
12106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: September 29, 2015, 01:50:37 PM
Most friends that I've recommended Bitcoin to, are interested only in the profits. They don't care if it's decentralized or such, they just want to take advantage of it to make money. Also, they will leave Bitcoin if prices goes lower than it is right now (which I doubt) of about $200 -$210 per BTC.  Smiley
12107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2015, 01:47:41 PM
You could grow your Bitcoins fast if you have a decent amount of them and invest it on a miner that would make you ROI. There are various options to choose from like Genesis Mining or buying Antminer S7 hash from Hashnest. Genesis Mining takes long to reach ROI, but I'm sure I could get ROI faster in Hashnest (I don't know why but probably by selling the hash at a higher price later)  Cheesy

I hope , they make a physical BTC it better than virtual

You mean like this?

It can be worth 1 BTC, and minted out of pure gold, and can be physically traded Cheesy

This physical Bitcoin looks luxurious and a very good coin to have. I would like to have one of these. Any idea on where I could buy one? I love to collect physical coins  Cheesy
12109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 29, 2015, 01:22:21 PM
I've not earned much today, just a couple of satoshis from Bitcoin Hopper and Bitcoin Flapper. You spend hours of playing just to get very little BTC. Still, there are fun to play but not to profit.  Smiley
12110  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: September 29, 2015, 01:19:34 PM
Right now, the US dollar is the reserve currency so therefore it might take a little longer than we expected for Bitcoin to replace it. We need mainstream adoption to gain a step ahead for this to happen. The day that Bitcoin replaces the Dollar, would be the day that it would be used by all countries around the world (main currency)  Grin
12111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2015, 11:15:17 PM
A way to raise the amount of bitcoins is to find out when bitcoin will crash most probably. Sometimes you can see it already coming. Then simply exchange your bitcoins to nubits and wait until you think the bitcoin price stabilized. Buy bitcoins back and voila, you have more than before. Smiley

It seems that you read my mind..lol. That's exactly the best strategy for Bitcoin price, especially when it goes higher then you would exchange them to Nubits to safeguard your profits (just in case BTC price goes down) Nubits have always been pegged to the value of USD (although not 100% but still it is very close)  Cheesy

I think best way is to buy some bitcoins and hold them for some time until the price of bitcoins are increased. We can also earn some bitcoins by joining some signature campaigns and avatar campaigns.
i think that by selling your skills, doing tasks you can grow your bitcoins.

That is the best answer above "" can never beat good old fashion work for your money.

I invest my bitcoin in alts, some you win some you lose. Its fun and if you use your head you can win more than you lose.

I think that the most reliable alts to invest right now are NXT, Ethereum, and Litecoin. If you have a good trading strategy, you could be earning well from this and grow your BTC  Roll Eyes

Here are the best ways to earn Bitcoins:

1. Gambling (very risky)
........

i don't get it. why do you people put gambling as a method for earning bitcoin? nobody is earning bitcoin through gambling, they are just losing day after day.

now i ask you Abiky "how much did you make so far through gambling?"

The most that I made from gambling was only $0.35 cents, but on the contrary, I've lost over $2 of profit. So really gambling is not the ideal choice to grow your Bitcoins, but it sure is fun. I think that gambling is for greedy people how think they can become rich by doing this.  Smiley
12115  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: September 27, 2015, 08:38:45 PM
When I started on BCT I was a complete noob, didn’t knew much about Bitcoin. At first, I started using faucets (when their reward was decent) but after getting paid a cent or two after a lot of hours, I decided to look for other ways to increase my earnings fast. Then, I came up with joining a signature campaign and thanks to that, I’ve increase my knowledge in the Bitcoins field and realized how everything worked (mining, sending/receiving coins, trading, gambling, etc) Based on my current rank, and constructive posts, I can make an average of $4 to $5 weekly (depending on quality and number of posts) Sometimes, I earned a maximum of $8 per week, but that’s when I had the time to post more.  Grin
12116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 27, 2015, 08:32:14 PM
Earnings today were small, but still I made some profit. I made $0.10 today from shares. Grin
12117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2015, 08:29:22 PM
If you want to grow your Bitcoins, you can always try investing on cloud staking (like Staisybit or Stakeminers) or cloud mining (like Hashnest) Soon, you will be able to buy Hash from Antminer S7 in Hashnest, which makes it the most energy efficient miner yet. As a result, there will be lower maintenance fees and makes it a great way to grow your Bitcoins.  Cheesy

my wallet is stuck on block 450138 when syncing. what to do?

I assume you have v1.3.0? Try restarting the wallet and check you have onlines nodes. Then just wait
4 active connections and 1.3 version but still stuck at same block. 45hrs behind

Try deleting blockchain data by going to your appdata directory (on Windows) and deleting everything except the wallet.dat file (important) Always make a backup of your wallet.dat file before proceding. Hope this helps.  Smiley

I prefer signature campaign instead of gambling. You don’t need to invest money in campaigns just your time and good constructive posts. Just contribute to the community, instead of doing it only for the money.  Grin
