12041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency are you using exept Bitcoin?why? on: October 05, 2015, 05:26:11 PM

Its "cool" but not very profitable. I bought a 4tb HDD for gaming and i checked the profitability, is very bleh. It really does not compare to just buying proper hardware. I'm guessing the coin isint too used since its been around for quite a while and its almost unheard of.

Yeah I don´t realy do it for the profitability... I just want to see where this coin will go because of its concept... also my PC is on 24/7 anyways so it doesnt realy matter if my external HDD jumps on from time to time then goes back to sleep... Wink

If you're leaving your PC on 24/7, then that would be a possibility to earn more Burst. A 3.5 external HDD would be more reliable and faster than a 2.5 laptop HDD. Still, if you're curious about knowing how much Burst you would mine, I suggest you visit this page: http://burstcoin.biz/calculator   Have fun!  Wink
12042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 05, 2015, 04:45:27 PM
For Monero to become a very successful privacy-centric crypto currency, we need to promote it even more. This will result in mass adoption and with a hopefully increase in price. So far, I'm doing my best to spread the word of XMR and already told a couple of my friends about it. Most of them became very interested in it due to the fact that their transactions would be more private than in the Bitcoin block chain. They said they don't want NSA spying on their transactions, and that's why they'll be using Monero from now on. For the moment, I'm going to publicize XMR even more, until then I decide to make my own business which would only accept Bitcoins and Monero as payment methods. In the meantime, let's hope to see an increase in price probably in the next year. (or not?)  Cheesy
12043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: October 05, 2015, 04:36:26 PM
Thx okae, great your done that. Grin

no problem mate, you know that you are more than welcome, like all Magi users Smiley

Price goes up which makes the hashrate go up 100MH.  Staking is still the most energy efficient way of making more XMG.

thats another one good characteristic that i love from Magi, and dont forget that the wallet works like a charm to your pc will not be affected so much while you are staking, seriously i love this coin! Smiley
Nice words okae!
Magi will release the android app this month.
And there are more awesome developments in progress!

Yes! Finally an Android app to store and keep track of all my Magi. Everyday Magi is growing stronger with fresh new developments and a friendly community. Keep it up! If this goes as is, I can't imagine Magi being one of the top alt coins in market cap. Looking forward to this  Cheesy

I decided to give faucets a try and earned 5000 satoshis today in one hour by using faucet rotator. I've also tried Starsbit and Goldsday and earned small amounts of satoshis. All of this would add up and at least I get some profit. I know you can't earn much with faucets, but it is somewhat fun to do.  Cheesy

That's a quite few amount for an hour of working and playing with faucets. I think you should change the rotator you are using right now, I can't recommend some cuz I'm not using faucets in the meantime, just take a look on the micro earnings section and you'll see plenty of them.

Thanks for the advice. I'll check out the micro earnings section for more faucets. I think I would be able to use 2 or 3 faucet rotators at the same time and make huge amount of satoshis. I'll try this and share my experience later.  Smiley
12045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 05, 2015, 12:29:13 PM
How about from games? Can we earn some bitcoin just by playing thru our PC or android or Iphones?

You could earn some BTC by playing games but they don't rather pay that much. However, it is still worth a try since they're fun to play and at least you'll be earning something. For android, there is Bitcoin Hopper, Bitcoin Flapper and Wheel of Bitcoins and for PC, there's Minecraft and others that I might have missed (Google is your friend) So far, Bitcoin Hopper and Wheel of Bitcoins are my favorite. They're very addicting and fun to play. Try them out!  Grin

12047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to Qoin Pro? on: October 05, 2015, 12:20:17 PM
doesn't work for me over a month...

They just closed the site and ran away with all your coins. At first, I had the feeling that this would turn out to be a scam. It's too bad I didn't had the time to withdraw my balances before this happened. Now I'm regretting all I deposited in this scam wallet. I don't think it would ever come back  Sad
12048  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 05, 2015, 12:16:10 PM
At this time, it think it is the perfect time to invest your money in something that is valuable such as Bitcoin or Gold. I think the best option for now would be to invest in Bitcoin now that the next halving will be probably next year and this will result in an increase in price. If you invest your money in Bitcoin now, you'll be happy to know you did so by maximizing your profits. Just my opinion  Grin
12049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 05, 2015, 01:00:13 AM
I've earned a decent amount of BTC by trading some Litecoins that I had on reserve for profits. It's a good thing I sold them at a higher price on another exchange for this to work, or otherwise I wouldn't have earned much today.  Smiley
12050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 04, 2015, 01:07:38 AM
This might not be the best strategy for dice games, but it sure has worked for me. All I do is use the free BTC they give you (faucet in Dicecoin.io) to play the dice game and only bet minimum. That way you have more chances of winning than losing profit. Doing this I’ve won 1000 satoshis but I’ve also lost 250 sats. Still, I’ve lost a very minimum amount of BTC and so far this has been working for me. Give it a try. It might work for you as well.  Grin
12051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 04, 2015, 01:00:03 AM
Today has been a very good day for me. I’ve received 0.04914 BTC from signature campaign. This has been added to my BTC savings with the purpose of purchasing Antminer S7 hashrate from Hashnest when it’s ready. Can’t wait to start mining.  Cheesy
12052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: October 04, 2015, 12:52:25 AM
Hey devs,

Opposite to many people here, I'm pretty happy with how you've been handling the situation until now.  I'm holding for the future ☺

Same here, it is not easy to see who is behind a coin nowadays and we have 3 talented devs + a great community(http://slack.expanse.tech) ready to make of this project something huge, many people worry about (Reserve: 11 Million) but this will be Managed by Community votes, this funds are the engine that will keep this project alive because money doesn't fall from the sky as we wish and many real devs are tired of drawing funds of their own pockets, price is down now because some traders are trying to buy cheaper but after GUI wallet release price must go up and be more stable.  Cheesy, buy or mine EXP now or  Cry forever.

Thanks, that means a lot. We are designing this to be something that can last many years and evolve. It is easy to make something that is short term and just put out a bunch of hype and then abandon it as happens with most alts on Bitcointalk, but we are building the foundation for a sandbox that the community and new talent can build out all sorts of ideas and experiment with over the long run, and the community and 3rd party devs can be greatly rewarded for participation in Expanse. The huge rise at the start was a bit of a problem for us as it was unexpected, but the positive is that likely helped us quickly get on so many exchanges, so it isn't all bad. The price does seem to finally be leveling off now, Hash power is up quite a bit, and developments are on the way. Any positive messages mean a lot to us. Smiley

That’s good to hear. I’m still not giving up on Expanse yet, it is on it’s first steps. All of this is supposed to happen for the coin to emerge and bright among all other cryptos. Remember when Bitcoin was so dirt cheap? That was the beginning, but when it evolved and became used by lots of people, it’s price began to increase due to the fact that there was more demand and merchants were starting to start accept Bitcoin from around the world. So all I can say is that Expanse has a very bright future and it will probably outmatch Ethereum becoming the first successful ETH clone. Just my opinion  Grin

According to you, what price potential has Magi ? Let's say in 1 month, 6 monthes and 1 year. I'm waiting for you bet  Wink. As for me I'd say 60k satoshis in 1 year, and you ?
It's hard to say what the value of Magi will be in the future! During this last period I noticed price is stable up. So thats good. But for me it would be ok if the value stays stable. For my own wallet I hope to buy a lot of XM for nice price. But when I look with marketing eyes I think the volume, new promotions, developments and grow of our awesome Magi community are more important. Magi has a lot of work to do.  Smiley

Magi sure has a bright future, so this would be a positive move towards price increase. If Coin Magi keeps growing stronger in community and development, we can see a price increase of maybe $0.10 per Magi. All of this could happen in the next year (maybe?) Only time will tell. Patience is key here.  Smiley
12054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Banx Shares - Bitcoin profits paid monthly on: October 03, 2015, 11:08:38 PM
Has Banx been proven to be a scam? I'm just looking for reviews, and making research but so far I haven't found anything. I own some Banxshares, and so far I've been receiving dividends from them and I'm afraid that I won't invest more into it until I find a reliable source of information which proves to me that Banx is a scam. If it is, I'll be selling my shares right away.  Smiley
There is no proof of a scam so only you can make that decision dude, Theres plenty of trolls defacing banx and theres just as many people involved with banx saying its awesome,
weigh up the pros and cons

you said already you have been recieving profit payouts since holding banx shares, What did banx have when you got those shares has banx added to the banx services are you seeing progress?

Im pro banx because ive seens whats been achieved in the last 12mnths i have constant contact with other investors of banx and the team, Most people here expect to have a Crypto token wait till it gets pumped and cash out, banx is different to that its not a coin you are investing in a business not a crypto clone.
Do you know of any other crypto project to actually bring blockchain technology to regular people around the world? banx now owns 25% of physical real world lottery that is becoming the worlds 1st blockchain lotto, i dont no of any crypto project to actually integrate itself into real world use, other than using btc in a shop.

It depends what you mean by "reliable source of information"?
There are plenty of us here (myself included) that have been supporting and investing in Banx for quite a while.
We like the team, we like the direction, and we like the fact they spend their time building the business rather than on here hyping and/or fighting trolls.

You should do what you feel is right, however the guys are too busy to have time to scam Wink

Thanks for sharing your reviews. I think I will hold my Banxshares until the time comes to sell them. So far, I’ve been receiving dividends from them without any issues.  Smiley
12055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What 2.0 Currency will be the most successful? on: October 03, 2015, 10:55:23 PM
Why no one here has posted about Monero? I think this would be a good candidate for discussion, because a lot of people sure do like talking about it and has always had a consistent following over the past year.

Other than that NXT might be a good choice as well... Another coin I just was looking into was eMunie (which hasn't been released yet) that shows a real potential of being, literally, the fastest coin to be put on the market.

The thread for that is here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1191535.0

Not fastest, but probably eMunie will be good technology after it's will be finally released https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1191535.msg12550689#msg12550689
PS: Unfortunately I lost patience of eMunue one year ago after waiting public beta release for 3-4 months

We'll see! I still think there are a lot of misconceptions/issues about Bitshares speed (even disregarding the crazy power box you need to sustain it) and that when it comes to the crunch, it won't perform anywhere near what is claimed.

As soon as we have enough testers available to push a few 100,000k tx/s I'll be sure to update everyone here.  Problem is, we need about 500 nodes online to do that on a fully partitioned network (assuming each node can generate ~300-400 tx/s) and we don't have a pool of testers which is that large.  Maybe I should start recruiting again soon Smiley

I get the patience thing, but would you rather a sloppy, cut corner, pile of shit but out the door quick product?  Or a good quality, performs as claimed, solid product with real innovation?   So much stuff is released here with issues, silly mistakes, and other shoddy implementations of ideas just to make a quick buck.

You could put it that way, being the polite dude that you are  Cool
What BTS are promising is a VISA level of tx speed in a decentralised peer-to-peer network.
This is like saying that you can make a Land Rover as fast as a Bugatti Veyron: maybe you can, but you may have to sacrifice a few safety features.

Still, it's going to be fun to watch, as long as you stand well back.

I agree with you. It’s about time that crypto shows its true potential to Banks and the government by proving to be a fast and efficient system to handle transactions similar or greater than Visa. When Bitshares 2.0 comes out, it could totally rival Visa with its TPS. This is something that Bitcoin should’ve improved in the beginning, but it seems that after all there is going to be a next “Bitcoin 2.0” and that would be Bitshares 2.0 Just my opinion  Grin
12056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitShares 2.0 on: October 03, 2015, 10:48:24 PM

Now this is some progress there. With this TPS it could rival Visa and become a very successful decentralized payment system. It's good to see these improvements in Bitshares, having said that it's latest iteration will bring crypto to the masses (hopefully)  Cheesy

12058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: October 03, 2015, 12:23:40 AM
Currently BURST is my recommendation. Invest in BURST and it's assets, just today 3 of the BURST assets paid it's dividends (end of month), including mine.

Some assets generated up to 0.13BTC in value. You just buy the BURST , then the assets, then you get dividends on them.

After you decide to cash out, you just convert back it into Bitcoin, and make profit.

Any idea where I could find those Burst assets? Sorry for my ignorance, but I haven’t seen any as to this date. Please let me know as I would like to invest in them too.

You buy them from the BURST client, there is a built in asset exchange from where you can buy the assets.

I`ve just made a list of the established BUST assets, my asset is the fastest growing one with the 2nd highest monthly trading volume:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731923.msg12577687#msg12577687

Wow that's a pretty neat list just sent me there, mate. I'm going to look more into it and probably invest in some of the BURST assets. Let's see how much it would take for me to reach ROI.  Grin

12060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethercoin | Redeemable 1:1 for ethers | Official Thread on: October 02, 2015, 06:08:58 PM
It's been 2 days since I sent ETC to the redemption address, but I can't see updates on the ethercoin.cc site. Balance still says zero. Am I doing something wrong? Below, is proof of transaction:

Please help!  Sad

Did anyone had this experience when sending Ethercoins to the redemption address? After my request had been listed on the site, I've found out that other requests haven't been fulfilled yet. The site says that it may take up to one week for the redemption process to occur but for it has been over a week for me and still no updates on the balance sent, OP not replying my emails and messages, and there's no sign of anyone who gives a shit. Are my hopes lost? Does that mean that I lost the money I invested into Ethercoins?

If anybody's out there and had the same experience as me, I would like to know. In the meantime, I'll just keep waiting until eventually I get a response from either the OP or someone else  Sad
