11841  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: November 07, 2015, 11:03:40 PM
If I'd ever quit my job, I would make my own Bitcoin business and profit from it. I can see a lot of potential here as you can do some stuff you just can't do with fiat. The fees are lower and transactions are almost instantaneous. I will probably make a Bitcoin casino site and see how good it would go for me.  Smiley

All these dividend payout news makes me want to invest more on Ambercoin. I'm growing my stack of Ambercoins daily for a hope to reach out 10k AMBER and become a shareholder. This is very exciting.  Grin

The new wallet, the release of prypto casinocoin cards, and adoption are all very promising features from CasinoCoin. I bet that after a few months, CasinoCoin would grow even more in price and marketcap. Maybe 2016 would be the year of CasinoCoin.  Cheesy
11844  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 07, 2015, 09:53:40 PM
Give Bitcoin some time. Probably 10 years would be enough for Bitcoin to gain mass adoption and improve its development. Perhaps, after that it would replace the dollar if it has enough demand and governments would back it up. Just my opinion.  Grin

official launch of the Magi Android app on Friday, November 13th, 2015

Now that is something that I would be anxiously waiting for. This is so great. Magi is growing everyday with fresh new development and its community. Now there is one thing I would like to know. Is it possible to gain profits from Coin Magi by mining or it would never be profitable? I'm just curious.  Roll Eyes
11846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: November 07, 2015, 09:48:03 PM
It all depends but I would like to buy a really cool car with Bitcoins probably by Christmas season. Also, I have plenty of things on my wish list such as a gaming laptop and a new miner.  Smiley

Thanks for the payment, it was really great. As always, quick and successful payment from signature campaign received into my Bitcoin wallet.  Cheesy
11848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 05, 2015, 06:58:37 PM
Is Ethereum's mining algorithm GPU or ASIC minable? Sorry for the noob question, but I'm pretty confused with this "Dagger Hashimoto" algorithm. Also, isn't there an Ethereum mining calculator around? Thanks  Smiley

Great! Thanks for sharing this information. I guess this clears all my doubts. There is one more thing, though: Which would be a better GPU to mine Ether with? Nvidia or AMD?  Huh
11849  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is btc mining? on: November 05, 2015, 06:56:02 PM
I want to know the whole proccess by which we can earn through mining.what happens in mining?

When you mine Bitcoins, you are securing the network by confirming transaction. Such process is made by an ASIC miner (look it on ebay) and depending on your hashrate (KH/s, MH/s, GH/s, TH/s), network difficulty, and electricity costs, that will determine what you will earn. For more info, i'd suggest you look into these sites: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/how-mine-bitcoins-generate-money-bitcoin-mining-3515249/     http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-bitcoin-mining-works/

Hope this helps. Somebody correct this, if I'm wrong.

11851  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: November 05, 2015, 06:47:28 PM
I just wish I could get a Bitcoin debit card, but as far as I can see, most companies don't ship those cards to Puerto Rico. If anybody could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm still looking for one that does ship to the specified country.  Smiley
11852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: November 05, 2015, 05:23:30 PM
Litecoin needs new development and more marketing to become successful. Even still, it might survive because it is one of the oldest alt coins out there and Bitcoin's brother. Maybe a Litecoin 2.0 would be a great idea.  Roll Eyes
11853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: November 05, 2015, 05:20:11 PM
Is Expanse still alive. It has been 5 days since the last reply in this thread, and nothing new. Bitcoin's price is rising up fast, and so as most alt coins, but Expanse is still around the same price or probably even cheaper. Are my hopes lost?  Huh

It is very much alive, and just a few days from a lot of big stuff. Cheesy

Is the GUI wallet ready or would it take longer? Also, any idea on how do I make an Expanse paper wallet? Thanks in advance.  Smiley
11854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many altcoins do you hold? on: November 05, 2015, 03:16:51 PM
Everyday, my Bitcoin and alt coin portfolio gets bigger. I have around 20 alts in total and I invest a minimum amount of BTC into them for future reference. If price goes up, then I would reap in the rewards and benefit from the situation. As a backup, I make paper wallets of each alt coin I own, and put them nicely on my binder. For security purposes, I encrypt the wallets and only place the encrypted private key on the paper wallet.  Cheesy

Here is the large list of alt coins I hold right now: Ambercoin, ArtByte, Banxshares, Bitshares, Bleutrade Shares, Casinocoin, Diamond, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Expanse, Litecoin, LiteDoge, Magi, Monero, NuBits, Paycoin, Tekcoin and Clams.  Roll Eyes
11855  Economy / Economics / Re: What plans do you have for your BTC stash? on: November 05, 2015, 02:40:04 PM
I will just hold a decent amount of Bitcoins for the future, as I believe in it and think that its price will be higher by then. After that, I would take some of my Bitcoins from another wallet and buy a miner with it.  Grin
11856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: November 05, 2015, 01:24:21 PM
I'm just saving Bitcoins in the meantime. However, when I have a huge amount of Bitcoins, I will use them to buy a miner and an iPhone. Then the rest I will just treasure it for the future.  Grin
11857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall on: November 05, 2015, 12:57:19 PM
Maybe is because the massive pumps have ended? But still, I think the price is great apart from what it was like a month ago ($235). Perhaps, in the end of 2015 the price would rise between the $500 - $600 mark. I'm still holding my Bitcoin here.  Roll Eyes
11858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2015, 12:28:40 PM
There are methods that are proven effective towards growing your stash of Bitcoins. These have always worked for me, although sometimes staking doesn’t work that much…

1. Staking

2. Trading

3. Investing on shares (Banxshares, Blockshares, Billshares, etc)

4. Sell your BTC when price is high to a stable crypto pegged to fiat (Nubits, Tether, BitUSD, etc)

5. And other I might have missed.

How do you invest in shares?

Simply buy shares from trusted sources. First make a research, before investing in any of these just to be safe. You can invest on Banxshares (http://banx.io), Bleutrade Shares (http://bleutrade.com), or Blockshares (https://bcexchange.org/). Some of them give you payout (dividends) every week, and some give you dividends every month.

For more info on their prices, you can check out: http://coinmarketcap.com

Hope this helps.  Wink
interesting post, how much you can earn from banx, i've missed this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219292.0 i dont know what was banx, so i have not joined with that giveaway

It all depends on how much you invest into it. You can either earn some good dividends, but if you invest the very minimum, then you are very likely to see some good profit/ROI. So far, they have been paying me the dividends, and I've earn even more profit along the way because of the price increase.  Smiley
11859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 05, 2015, 12:13:11 PM
I think i'll buy some ETH before devcon I just can't decide when to enter. I missed the 137k low I don't think it will drop that low anymore.

Even still, I think that ETH price is dirt cheap right now. I guess it would probably rise when there would be a stable GUI wallet release, or after the devcon. It is an exciting world out there for ETH. I think soon it will show us its true potential.  Grin
11860  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2015, 12:10:15 PM
What do you guys think the price will be at the end of 2015, lets settle on that before we talk about 2016.  I hope more and more people use Bitcoin every day I just don't think it will become mainstream until at least 2025 if it survives that long.

The price at the end of 2015, will probably be between the $500 - $600 mark. I'm guessing that the closer we are to the next halving, the more the price will rise. But that is just my theory. I could be wrong.  Roll Eyes
