Personally I'd price blakecoins a bit higher than OP priced them at, but perhaps I'm just using pipedream math.
I'm close to setting price 4+ BTC / 1000 BLC, due to its difficulty (soooo hard to find a block )

Edit: maybe I did not sleep well last night or not had enough tea but I am a little on the grumpy side this morning Don't be grumpy, dude, you're doing an excellent work! I don't think that several days (when someone mines with big EC2 or his own unreleased miner) will make any harm to the coin.

using the reference cpu miner I have mined with 8 machines ~ 24MH/s = 4 blocks since the 10th so that is <1 block a day on kramble's FPGA miner ~ 60MH/s = 1 block in past 2 days when EC2 had an outage the other day the difficulty dropped to 1/5 of the stable rate it had been, so my guess is still on a large EC2 CPU miner I wanted just to make an experiment, created 1 88-ECU (32-CPU) instance, ran it for 3 hours - no blocks. So there should be hundreds of such instances...

What a generous offer! yp, buy 40% of total coins number (at the moment) for 2 btc, lol

Sent. Damn, new blocks stopped appearing in my wallet... I think that I'll continue giveaway to 20 ppl below that post, after it - maybe Vorksholk will help

WTB> BLC 0.0005 BTC each 2000 BLC = 1BTC
too cheap for me - now blocks don't come for many hours even with big machines does anyone sell at that price?
I don't understand. So is the block reward a solid 25 or what?
25 + small amount (see OP's first post). Now it is really small (near 0.0002 BLC now), so yes, roughly it is 25 BLC.

my blc wallet can't sync now
hi guys, can you ?
all works, checked on 3 different machines in different locations (all with latest build) did you update your wallet to actual version? did you delete blockchain?
BLCs sent. Hurry - difficulty skyrocketing, and amount of free BLC is decreasing!
updated prices - no blocks even with 70 MH in last 8 hours with so high difficulty

one thread per core. 3*24-core machines, 2*8-core machines (all - Xeon servers)
That's some pretty serious hardware you have got there sir. Is that a box with 3xcpus each with 24 cores or are you running 5 boxes with a total of 88 cores? Impressive setup either way! 5 boxes (24 = 2 CPUs with 12 cores each) some time ago I had total 198 cores, but now only that 88 left Are you renting those, or are they part of some unused infrastructure you have access to? Unused infrastructure. Sometimes some machines become 'used' and I lose some of hashpower, but it is still rather good for CPU coins. edited: difficulty 65K How many blocks are you getting with the new difficulty? Oh, and to OP: tried on i5-2500k (no OC) and got around 8300-8700 kH/s Nothing during last 8h. So you understand: 70 MH, no blocks. Either there are huge EC2 instances, or gpu\fpga miner.

wow, I'm 70mhs monster sent you blc in giveaway (with surprise ) Hey, is that 70MH/s with really high threads per miner, or 70MH with one or two threads per core? What CPUs are you using? one thread per core. 3*24-core machines, 2*8-core machines (all - Xeon servers)
