1141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China: zoom function of Huawei P30 Pro with 50x zoom! on: April 29, 2019, 10:23:28 PM
It wont be that easy imho, there is always 2fa to secure your wallet. Even if someone knowing your wallet password or pins but as long as you have 2fa then it is still safe. I think you are just too worry of it, make sure you have 2fa of your wallet then it will be OK.

This could not be fully secured at all(2fa), if he knew your pins and then got your phone, the cyrpto you have will be stolen. I guess it is just safe to say that you shouldn't be letting people know that you had such huge value amount of crypto currencies in the first place-I think that is why anonymity is a must to every crypto users out there to avoid being a target. Whatever we do, if somebody wants to steal from us, they would do most of the things that we wouldn't ever know and that includes even hurting us physically if they knew who we are and where we live and so on. Well maybe I am stating these things because I live in a less secure place than you do guys, I don't know but just to be sure we must think far beyond ahead of us.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019: Year of massive adoption of blockchain and crypto currency on: April 29, 2019, 09:39:31 PM
It seems that their are more positive news about the crypto environment than negative ones. I don't know how it could happen really but there are certain people now out there that really gives a good image of crypto currencies and they continue to contribute giving massive adoption. Especially celebrities and famous athletes around the globe. I hope this gets better and we can have all of the juices later on.

1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I ForeSEE EVIL Coming TO ALL Bitcoin Communities!! (SOUND WARNING) on: April 28, 2019, 04:20:16 AM
I was lost for a moment and when I saw the trust ratings of the guy I was then given light. He is saying what? But anyway what ever comes I will be online for most of the time so I will be checking daily updates, bad or good.
1146  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin Turns Wasted Energy Into Magical Internet Money on: April 27, 2019, 11:29:47 PM
There are tons of ways o utilize free energy and this mainstream media just don't publicly distribute those information. They are too BS, I think they are protecting their masters from losing control of the world economy. Solar energy is a powerful source to power up digital currency mining. The desert in the middle east are vast and should be utilize. There are thousands of free acres to be a solar farm and yet some government just solely depends on fossil fuels. There are high grounds in some places that could be an energy source using wind, yet they don't act on it, sad but this is the reality.
1147  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Sekretong Malupit sa Pag Convert to PHP sa Coins.ph! on: April 27, 2019, 04:00:48 PM
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A team of Indians created Bitcoin on: April 27, 2019, 01:27:17 PM
Bad or good outcome I would be happy if we know who Satoshi is. Who wouldn't to? He is just the sole reason of all of these. I don't know what John M. wants to prove but I am excited what will happen next. So either you want this or not we should be ready for what may comes next in the history of Bitcoin and the whole crypto space.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: April 26, 2019, 03:58:14 PM
It's just the investors don't to be want to be used anymore, they had enough of shitcoins. Their money being a fund for the team that has never even had the slightest chance of success. It's just the hyped that dragged most of them, or worst is the ambition to be next Vitalik or name any genius guy out there, learning basics and creating new tokens without prior experience is just like throwing money in to the fire meant to be burned. Now you can't blame most of us if we stick to the old ones, they are already in position to be trusted and has strong support from the community.
1150  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: April 26, 2019, 02:27:40 PM
Marscoin  Tongue Tongue Tongue
I'm not joking. There is already a currency with that name that was designed to be used in Mars.
Lol. Seriously? This is just a dream basically at present which is why thinking about the currency that they are planning on using is pointless. Even if they choose a currency, why in the world would they choose crypto which many governments don't support on Earth itself?

Forget Mars. We need to focus on making our planet a better place to live in by improving energy efficiency etc.
Nailed it! Let's just leave Mars as healthy as it is now and we should avoid contaminating it with what virus we already have(human greed). If our planet is cleansed one day, we won't be bothering going out there. This is a beautiful world to live in only if we change for good.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money you use for gambling? Crypto gambling market profiling survey! on: April 26, 2019, 06:53:34 AM
 Question 1:
How much you spend weekly in crypto gambling? (please don't write how many bitcoins or Dogecoins you spend. Convert it into a dollar value)

Options -
1. $1 - $100 This is the range I gamble weekly, That is why I feel safe being broke.

Question 2:
What is the maximum amount you have won from crypto gambling?
Around .003 BTC, it was way back 2017, it's fun though and I can't still forget about it.

Question 3:
What cryptocurrency you use in gambling?

I am using BTC, LTC and DOGE, never want to use any others, I feel lucky with these three.

This survey will run for exactly one week and I will close this thread on 28th April, 2019! Don't spam and don't engage into other's replies!
1152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with cheapest fee? on: April 26, 2019, 02:28:15 AM
If you asked me how I buy bitcoin, I used our local wallet. I find it almost the same and hassle free, I know the fees can sometimes hurt but it's worth the try. If only there are Bitcoin ATM available in our place then it would be easier for us. For other crypto currencies then I use a exchange platform as most of them are not available on our local wallet providers.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why kyc? on: April 25, 2019, 05:28:08 PM
Some websites require users to complete KYC when making large withdrawals because some players may cheat to win. Some people use the platform to launder money and make them legal, so KYC requests required on these platforms. I think these platforms all have reasons and require you to implement KYC.

But some guy is also saying that if they can do it why can't we? If the saying of "Customers Always Right" is what we implement, we should have known from the start that if we get to win Big we should do KYC. Even though I did not experience winning big but the fact that this concerns most of the gamblers out there is disturbing. It should be clarified, transparency is a must or else someone might lose their customers.
1154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't let the holiday catch you - if you are a day trader. on: April 25, 2019, 04:03:21 PM
Why the cryptocurrency market always go down during the holidays? even the smaller ones like Easter?
I noticed many times in the past the crypto market normally goes down when people are on holidays from Christmas to Eid-mubarak.
Just noticed the market also relaxed during the smaller holidays like Easter, Diwali (a bit) and Maulud. but not on the valatine's day - lol!

Well, the market started recovering from the Easter holidays today and it appears the bitcoin is heading to another milestone, which is very nice.
What is your take on this matter? Feel free to share views with us here... thanks Smiley

I thought in Christmas some dudes buy their gifts online and using bitcoin in some payment methods. Or is it just it goes down because they switch their crypto to fiat and buy the necessary things on Christmas holidays?
1155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: April 25, 2019, 03:10:12 PM
As the title itself, I’m thinking about the valid reason why gamblers continue to gamble even if they are losing a lot of money. Is it hard to understand that gambling will just make your money lose if you still continue?

So many addiction stories, people shares their losing experience and yet you are still gambling. The more you play the bigger the chance to lose the money. What is your reason to continue? Are you willing to chase your loses despite of the risk?

Source: Faisamtrader
Chase to fall? 🧐 - (Not a photo of mine, just for an illustration of being greed)

Somehow they have an urge to get what they have lost not knowing consciously they are losing even more. I have this kind of feeling whenever I have gone to gambling places. Or is it just there are no more reasons other than just having a fun time at all.
1156  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program - Now With Signatures! on: April 25, 2019, 02:14:53 PM
Hirap magkasakit sana nga may tumulong. Di biro ito pwede nyo akong i skype or kahit na anung paraan sa live pero private nga lang.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 25, 2019, 11:54:08 AM
I've noticed many ICOs have to spend a lot of money on promotions and advertising.

For example, let's say an ICO raises 10 million dollars but has to spend 9 million on promotion.

Therefore, they only really raised 1 million for the project.

Isn't this unethical?

If you're starting a company and looking for investors the traditional way via stock equity, you would never spend 9 million or even 5 million or even 2 million in order to raise 10 million from investors.

This begs the question, what ratio of promotion cost versus funds raised for ICOs is ethical?

And how do we know if an ICO is using an ethical ratio?

That is why some are just promising the bounty participants to give the payment but most failed to do so. Or another case is that they lessen the token allocated leaving the participants to retaliate and another story is bounty managers(most devs) run away with the money raised, in short a scam project.
1158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex locked me out on: April 25, 2019, 09:20:35 AM
I got issues recently with my 2fa, I have lost my phone and tried to disable the 2fa authentication on exchanges that I used including Bittrex. In order for me to retrieve my account they have requested my identification card and took picture holding it with the current date. I now have manage to get my account back and no tokens were stolen. How is that method going to ruined my identity and am I still secured? The good thing is my account is not locked and I am able to trade again. It is the same with other exchanges, I think it is safe to say that we could use that somehow in future problems like mine.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 25, 2019, 08:07:39 AM
Indeed maybe there is too much projects and people don't know what to choose, but PayPal is against of buying crypto with, and if PayPal will somehow fix the refunds problem and will let people buy crypto with then more people will buy crypto.

Instead of using it in payments, after they have got to learn basics knowledge about the crypto space, they trade and make small profits. Leading the destruction of the coins goal, and therefore failure of the project itself. Why not just consider using one digital currency rather making something new. New coins are just one way to steal money out from the pocket of new investors, and gives a negative image dragging some good projects out there.
1160  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the economic growth of Bitcoin will show a positive impact in upcoming days on: April 25, 2019, 02:58:22 AM
Hey
We all know how essential it is for the audience to follow the stars they love, not only that they usually have the power over a lot of population given how commercial companies die to hire them , well we have a good news * Serena Williams just revealed her list of the compani that she was investing in and one of them list was related to the cryptocurrency*

What we can infer from here is * even Superstars are actively involved in the cryptocurrencies and now they are opening up about it , this is going to influence the price positively for sure, what do you think ?

All of us wants better things in our lives, it normal for us to look onto our future and carefully invest in something that could really give us our retirements when we get older. But in anyways it is a positive image to the crypto society, the more famous and iconic figure engage in the crypto space the better.
