1141  Economy / Economics / Re: Human Capital, An Intangible Asset for a Company's success. on: September 15, 2023, 10:49:18 AM
Human capital is no doubt a valuable asset to an organization and when it’s recognized and utilized in an organization, the organization would definitely grow.
Organizations today recognize the great benefits human capital can bring to the organization and that’s why they have the HR Department to help the organization cash in.

A happy and satisfied employee would be extremely loyal, motivated and would go all out to ensure the success of the organization.
I agree with you. When a company or organization shows much value to human capital they will be able to form a better relationship with their employee which obviously results in a better performance from them. As much as it is a great thing for employees, it mostly has a direct impact on the company as the effects of such gives the company good results. Moreover, companies that value their employee and acknowledge human capital creates a good image for the company especially for investors, consumers, and future employee as it shows just how humane and humble a company is, as well as how they value their team.
1142  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Crisis - Improved, Worsen or still the same in your country (No Change)? on: September 15, 2023, 10:15:16 AM
Since food is the most crucial and expensive good in my country right now, and since nothing has changed over the course of this year, it is only now that you will realise how vital agriculture is to humankind. Many people report seeing a variety of unexplainable things. Since the price of fuel has gone up, everything has gone up as well, but food is the worst because you can no longer afford even a tiny bit of food, which is affecting many consumers because some people don't have jobs and struggle every day to feed themselves; now that the price has gone up, how can they survive?

The only thing I can advise someone in a country where the economy is hard is to go and learn anything concerning agriculture to feed because these days it really is hard. Farmers are the people who enjoy food now because they always sell their agriculture products to improve their lives and keep some agriculture stuff in their home to eat on because they always know that the government is not to be trusted and that is why they don't rely on government.
Although I agree with some of your points, I wouldn't really go as far as saying that farmers are the ones having many benefits with the conditions of food supply and price hikes at all. At least in my country, farmers are having such a difficult time as they are having less and less financial resources to buy their tools and essentials to plant and farm more. Essentially, like us, they are also facing the hike of prices with their needs for their work and thus it affects the supply of the food they produce that causes a price hike on their goods which then results in less and less sales. Aside from having fewer sales they also have to think about the danger of their products rotting and spoiling which will be another loss for them.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: September 14, 2023, 11:59:21 PM
I'm still for Stevenson on this bout. He's still ahead against other guys on this division and De Los Santos isn't even close to the closest second when it comes to speed and power. Stevenson might not make quick work of the challenger, but he's still going to come out on top in terms of scores and knock downs if it ever goes the distance.

A bet on a knockout will be the most value here. ML is just straight up favoring Stevenson no matter where you will look once the odds are up.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ask about prediction on: September 14, 2023, 11:48:42 PM
I've seen a couple of threads about football bets and all that, and while they don't get as much traction as one would expect, they aren't banned per se.

So if you're looking to actually setup your own thread to share gambling insights and betting predictions, you could do that, just make sure you're setting everyone's expectations and are not clickbaiting people, that's going to get your thread deleted and may even cause banning. Although don't expect people from really relying on you for gambling predictions since most of the established gamblers here has got their own groove and are not keen on relying from other people for these types of stuff. I say that's a good thing cause it stops you from putting the blame on other people.

Those megathreads with football transfers and all that stuff, they all share predictions sometimes if it comes to it and no one gets banned. It's not really banned here, and everyone is actually welcome to do so as we are in a gambling discussion sub-forum. Sharing betsi is actually one of the reasons why people flock here as they are using these bets and compare what they came up with then discuss why they have that option as a bet.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 14, 2023, 11:16:33 PM
These countries have relatively higher GDP than the rest of the world, and they have an established credit system that checks these users whether they're in too deep or not. They have the means to stop these guys from carelessly spending their money compared to the rest of the world. Plus, the gambling industry in these countries are also raking in lots of money yearly, so there isn't any way these countries would stop such operations.

What do you feel from this that gambling is less ethical?

'Ethical' on gambling varies differently on where you're at, so it's a question that I don't think will have a single solid answer.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 14, 2023, 10:54:28 PM
I guess there isnt much to bet on until the next TI but I guess Im putting in some money for tomorrow

TSM seems to have improved so Im betting on them to win against BC although I would say BC is abit better but its a bo3 game so perhaps TSM could pull a 2-1 win somehow. Obviously the other bet would be GG -1.5, self explanatory obviously its GG so there is no way that anyone would doubt that team

TSM still plays poorly in my eyes, and they have a lot of catching up to do even with BC. But it's a good bet with good odds, so betting on TSM to win or +1.5 is somewhat valuable and with reason as well. As for GG, well -1.5 is obviously the play against the newly reorganized Secret. Armel is getting kind of comfortable with the team, but it's GG so there's a very little chance that they manage to succeed against the said team.
1147  Local / Pilipinas / Re: malisyosong links umatake namaman at nkapagnakaw ng ilang libong dolyar on: September 14, 2023, 02:22:08 PM
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in your country. on: September 14, 2023, 01:45:12 PM
Well in the Philippines, government doesn't really have any restrictions about Bitcoin since there's a lot more of issues that they need to solve first than Bitcoin. Since Bitcoins is not that popular to the people here especially the adults one which they are not involved in crypto thinking its a fraud or a scam. Mostly the people who's involved are the new generation one due to they are influenced by the media and in the internet. Last time I've heard government concerning about crypto is about NFT game axie where they are trying to put taxes but they cannot since it's decentralized.
I was just about to reply with the same information. It's true that the Philippine government is far too occupied to give any attention to Bitcoin with the unlimited issues the country is facing (God knows when it will all take a break). The last time the government gave attention to anything concerning crypto was indeed about the NFT game Axie (at least from what I remember), or is it the rumors surrounding the Maharlika Funds being a source for Bitcoin investment (?), anyway to put it simply the PH government isn't showing much interest on Bitcoin (at least as of now) to make any formal legal actions towards it (whether on legalizing it or banning it in total) and honestly I'd like to keep it that way, it will be harder for us and any Bitcoin users if the government stick their noses here.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: September 14, 2023, 06:55:45 AM
I am certainly not going to repeat what the others have already said because that will just be wasting time now at this point. OP can read through all of them and take each advice with a grain of salt, based on OP's post he's a well-informed individual who can make decisions on their own. What I am going to repeat however is how foolish it is to post your transactions online. Please take the image down, you shouldn't be sharing it publicly, you can have other proofs that you have made transactions without posting any photos that can threaten your privacy (you don't even need to convince anyone about that, no one will care if you have proofs or not in cases like this).
1150  Economy / Economics / Re: Tim Gurner wants Unemployment to increase. Employers have lost their power. on: September 14, 2023, 06:34:05 AM
Although Tim Gurner has a point that there are cases when employees are demanding too much and are taking so much authority from their employers, this is just a ridiculous outlook, especially from a developing country's perspective. Unemployment is one of the biggest problems developing countries are facing and it contributes to a lot more pressing matters that we face. Moreover, it will be close to impossible (especially right now) to take control of the rising quantity of work-from-home employees as it has flooded the industry when COVID-19 hits. If he wants to take back the power he feels like employers are losing to their employees I'm sure there are other ways to do so than engrave fear of unemployment to others. This honestly just feels like an idea from a privilege individual (which I don't doubt that he is).
1151  Economy / Economics / Re: Was just watching the big short. Why do the times suddenly feel similar? on: September 14, 2023, 05:44:40 AM
Market crashes can happen, especially now that there are a lot of things that are happening in the world, most especially in the field of international politics. And I do understand your worries as I have also given up some things due to the shifts in the market and my move to adapt to it (by sacrificing some things in order to ensure that I will financially survive). However, right now what we can do is to ensure that we have sources of income to depend on when things change and always be informed of what is happening (economically, socially, and politically) so we can be prepared to take an action and make decisions.
1152  Economy / Economics / Re: Human Capital, An Intangible Asset for a Company's success. on: September 14, 2023, 04:57:49 AM
Human Capital is one of the biggest investments a company can have that easily and surely produce many advantages and possible profit for the business. However, it is always best to know (especially if you are an employee) if the company you are working for is not giving value for the things you are giving them (in this case being a human capital/asset for the company). I have seen and know a lot of employees who have great background education, amazing skills, and have such loyalty and dedication to the company that they are either paid less than they deserve or are never promoted. In the case of never getting promoted companies do this to avoid a raise for an employees rate, especially when they know that said employee is already doing more than what they are supposed to do without the raise in salary and position promotion. The point here is that much like the company itself employees should also know how much value they have in a company as they are after all the company's human capital.
1153  Economy / Economics / Re: On Apple's $200 billion dump and US shooting itself in the foot on: September 14, 2023, 04:36:25 AM
Well, China and the US have been at each other's throats for a while in some ways now. However, it is true that recently US has been getting a lot of blows that are setting them up for a major disaster. And now I know some will say that it will take much much more than these blows to take the US down but that is not the main point, it's the fact that it's been happening a lot recently and it is slowly pushing the US to its vulnerable state. Of course it will take years to take the US down (why is this even a goal anyway) but the percentage of it possibly happening is already a red flag for that empire.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: September 14, 2023, 04:05:30 AM
Going to your local produce has always been the best choice for me. Not only are they cheaper, you can also guarantee that they are fresh and straight from the farm/fisheries. I live near a coastal area, as well as a piggery so when I look for meat I don't go any farther. To some especially those that live in tight urban cities this may be a massive ordeal especially since most of these places are monopolized by large groceries and supermarkets, but if you're willing to take that 30 min. walk which you can also portray as your exercise for the day, you're getting the epic guarantee that not only are you getting fresh, cheap, and healthy produce, you're also making sure that you're fit and healthy on the way there.

There's a saying in my country: "Where there's a will, there's a way". In times when resourcefulness is necessitated, we gotta keep our brains fired up else we're risking losing those important few cents you know.
Now this is different, I've been talking about other products aside from produce when I initially replied to OP but I agree with you regarding produce. It is always best to go local as they are cheaper and they are also mostly fresh (this still depends on the kind of market and vendor you go to). Moreover, it is a good way to support your local farmers and fishermen, most of all the country's local agriculture. I especially feel this for my country as agriculture is the main source of living here, at least outside the greater capital/city. Essentially, if we are talking about produce then I have no doubt going for my local vendors for sure.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 03:17:43 AM
I agree with you that there is an obvious shift that is happening in our economy as more and more changes are happening and soon we will feel just how much the impact of these changes is. So if we really want to survive we have to adapt to these changes that are evidently coming. Aside from the obvious of holding on to bitcoin and focusing more on my investments, I'd probably put much effort into keeping an eye on the market and doing research on what the best business will be and if it will be a good time to launch one or to just hold off for a little more. In times like this it is best to do informed and always be updated as each decision may lead to consequences, both positive and negative.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: September 13, 2023, 11:53:41 PM

Same views on which im not really that prioritizing when it comes to VIP accounts or bonuses on a certain casino whenever i do tend to play on a certain casino.Basing up on my gambling history or behavior then im not really that a fan on transferring on one casino to another not unless i do see some good offers and bonuses which might poke up my interest then i might consider on making some register but if not then i would really be staying up the site on which i do really feel out comfortable on playing with because this is my primary preference for me to decide whether to stay or not or look for another place.

When it comes on reaching out VIP levels then it would be normal specially if you do stay up on a site and having that account on a single platform and playing up for long or huge wagers
which it would be normal that you would be reaching out those threshold but actually those are my least priority because bonuses and perks arent really that much something
that interest me.
It's laughable how these casinos try to entice people with their "VIP" statuses. In my opinion, these VIP statuses and bonuses are just an absolute stupid. They're designed to make the rich feel more superior while they flaunt their wealth. Its just a pathetic attempt to give those rich kids another gold star. If you're genuinely into gambling, the game itself should be the main attraction, not some ridiculous status. And, by the way, shifting casinos for bonuses? Just proof that these gimmicks are working. Stand firm with our beliefs; let the "elite" have their empty title. Whats the point of a VIP tag when the game remains the same?

The perks can sometimes be beneficial to the gambler who's receiving them. These titles and statuses are prized among the gamblers who are spending just right to have their fill. It extends their play time, plus it gives them access to 'more' items that are usually locked on normal accounts.

Even I would love to have those if it's a feature that can be activated, but if I have to pay my way to it, I won't do it just for the sake of getting something that can be expired the next month.
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Sites and Bug/Exploit Reporting and Rewards. on: September 13, 2023, 11:44:24 PM
If the bugs aren't that serious or game-breaking, I doubt they'll ever put so much attention to it. There are other things that they need to put their attention to, and minor bugs aren't one of them. My take: leave minor bugs as is and exploit game-breaking ones before submitting it for review. At least, you already profited from it and you have demonstrated that the bug is too critical to be ignored.

The bug to the game is common one to the game,So Until the bug will be serious we no need to worry about the gambling site bugs. The minor bugs can’t be consider as the serious one,So we no need to worry on that.If you feel the bug is dangerous, you can report the same bug to the site owner. All the site as the features of rewarding the people who report the bugs and help the developing team. The also reward the bug reporting people based on the bug size.If the major bugs was reported the website will improve their performance based on our involvement.

Though there could be minor bugs out there that could potentially lead to a critical one if left unchecked, or if it could be exploited even further to huge bigger problems. There are some bugs that act as if they are benign initially, but becomes devastating once discovered that it's connected to other parts of the game or platform. Pretty sure that the casino will have their eyes and ears on those minor bugs, though not as intently as what they give to the bigger ones.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 13, 2023, 11:26:14 PM
It's a step to curb the irresponsible usage of credit cards and banks losing a lot of money in the country. It's a start, though something that isn't really welcome to a lot of gamblers. Then again, if they see a trend and it's just continuously growing, better cut the source of funds that people are pulling from rather than implement the bans on other departments.

Right now, it's best to use a debit card if they want to enjoy the comforts and benefits of online gambling.

1160  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Grab magkakaroon ng features for crypto, NFT, kelan kaya magkakaroon sa Pinas? on: September 13, 2023, 01:51:01 PM

All we can do now is wait and see kung anong resulta nito sa Singapore at kung magkakaroon ba dito saatin.
