1141  Economy / Reputation / Re: owlcatz - new trading / Selling / Auction policies in a nutshell. on: December 02, 2021, 03:27:06 PM

Thanks for the set list of rules - it gives clarifty when trading and raises the bar for other traders.

Are you going to do trades here, or, just refer to this thread?

(BTW - I've fixed up you dot points and turned them into a list - if that's okay?[/list]

Thanks. I will be running some auctions soon for some cool stuff in collectibles.

I will be referring to this post in each auction/raffle/what-have-you, and yes, I hope it raises the bar a bit, without restricting newbies, as I have nothing against any of them, as long as they are good people like most I usually/typically trade/deal with in the past.

I'm hoping this forum can someday return to a place of nice offerings, and NO SCAMBAGGERY &/Or drama, as I've had enough of that.

Note to all: If Theymos had only implemented 2FA a couple years ago, just THINK how much $ could have been saved from scammers. Roll Eyes

Second note - The new forum "Software" was a scam - Where is it? Why are we still on this POS SMF system? Fuckin joke, and I feel bad to whoever has a "Donator" status - If I had one, I'd request it to say "Scammed By the Forum" instead. Roll Eyes

Peace.... And thanks for fixing up my post @TL, I appreciate it, I'll edit it later today. Smiley
1142  Economy / Reputation / owlcatz - Reputation Thread ETC.... My Thoughts and Policies. 🚀🚀🚀🚀 on: December 01, 2021, 04:00:15 AM
Hi everyone. It's been a while, but I'm on the move back and will be running some auctions etc.

Here are my policies, read up if you want to deal with me - I've been here since 2014 and never scammed a dime despite certain forum sig-spamming cretins putting fake/false negative trust on me. Roll Eyes  (No comment there, /End of tyvm)

First and foremost - I've been dealing with bullshit scams on this well-known scamming forum the past year, so read carefully:

IF YOU WANT TO SELL OR BUY HERE ON THE FORUM, YOUR FORUM ACCOUNT MUST BE AS SECURE AS POSSIBLE! READ THIS POST TO LEARN HOW TO USE PGP/GPG, AFTER you have secured your forum account with a LONG random password, and DO NOT USE THE "Secret Question:" Section in your profile, it's not secure!!
    Quote
Using this feature is not recommended. Anyone who guesses your secret answer will have access to your account. It's like a second password."

    • If you deal with me via forum (unsecure) PM, make sure YOUR account is well-secured, and doesn't have some shitty lame password.  Roll Eyes
    • MY account is secure. Is yours? - If you have ANY sort of question of that, ask for a PGP signed message, and I will provide it with any kind of proof you request.
    • I prefer escrow with  MoparMiningLLC. If you want a different escrow, that's fine too
    • If you WIN any auction, I expect payment within 24 hours of the win, otherwise your bid will be automatically withdrawn and will go to the next highest bidder.
    • YES, I DO USE TELEGRAM and/or other platforms to help verify identities and/or ensure deals go through properly - Despite all the claims of "TELEGRAM IS A SCAM", it's actually a very good way to verify account ownership and add some additional safety -  That said, DO NOT deal with anyone but my link in my profile on TELEGRAM or my forum profile UID 313016
    • BEWARE BULLSHIT OR WHATEVER - YOU WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH A PGP SIGNED MESSAGE WITH PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS. VERIFY MY PGP ID in my profile signature! THIS IS ON YOU, NOT ME!!!

Again, if you are unsure it is me, just request PGP verification. I keep my shit tight, so have no worries, & get your shit together before you deal with me, as I WILL NOT REIMBURSE ANY LOSS DUE TO ANYONE WITH AN UNSECURED OR HACKED account.

In a nutshell.... If you deal direct with me and I don't know you, expect to jump a few hoops to prove your forum id and ensure the TX goes as planned - THIS IS FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY. I'm done dealing with this forum's scammers.

SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT, OR DON'T BID OR EXPECT TO BE REIMBURSED IF YOU GET SCAMMED BY ANY KIND OF MITM ATTACK OR ACCOUNT TAKEOVER. Roll Eyes

Lastly, good luck. I will have some good shit up soon (tm).  Grin

Here is my trust page if you have any doubts about dealing direct.

Cheers and happy holidays all! Miss many of you, but will be in touch I'm sure!  Smiley
      Owlcatz

Update - This is now my reputation thread - If you have done business with me feel free to let me know your thoughts. If you feel I have ever scammed you (not likely, zero percentage lol) feel free as well... Roll Eyes

    Now....

I am not 100% sure for the price at this time, i am open to offers to judge what the real value is. I am not sure how to add images here. I am looking into that.

If you upload them to imgur.com, then just paste the links someone can repost them for you as in-line images. Wink

LOL.. Seriously? A buyer-funded coin graded 70 by the biggest cookie cutter grading house is "a first"? And worse, it's seriously wrong about the rarity etc.. Huh

    Fuckin' pathetic.... Roll Eyes

1148  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- Please Read! on: November 09, 2021, 01:57:51 PM
Sounds similar to the coldkey story. No news from both fronts. A simple “I’m working on it” would solve a lot of doubts. Surely scary.

Hey @Bavicrypto, hope you are well man! Smiley

There is a difference actually - Yogg is still alive and reachable, at least to me, and has returned to at least address/admit the situation is still messy... Tim is just... Gone... Huh  Also, Yogg IS working on cleaning it up, he's just off to a slow start - Have faith, coldkey situation will be cleaned up - If not, I will eat my words and my.... well not that... but nobody has anything to worry about with coldkey -  Yogg can't/would never pull a scam, those keys are guaranteed destroyed, he's too honest, just like me! 🤷‍♂️Wink

Thanks and GL to all the Titan hodlers, I wish all the best, but too much risk for my liking. I don't worry about sol noctis either since I'm not going to die losing 4x .001 BTC loaded coins , and the 2014's have never had any issues I'm aware of at all, so there is that. I guess the moral to me is that in my mind, there are only 3 makers I still trust at all, 100% long-term - Cas, Smoothie/Lealana, and Yogg/Coldkey.... I have almost 2 full collections of coldkey series, and I still have not sold or peeled any of them Grin

1149  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- Please Read! on: November 09, 2021, 01:25:31 AM
Oh no, the one day I don't check this forum 10x before noon is the day I wish I was here all day but please sell me all your non 2fa titan tenths for fair premium before you peel, they have been one of my favorite items since the 1st day I saw one. There has never been an issue with the non 2fa titans I have ever found after spending months/years now researching. And I know of a few that have been peeled and redeemed with no problems just to help you hodlers sleep at night haha

that's not the point - The point is nobody knows if those NON-2FA private keys were really destroyed or not - Only Tim knows, and he could potentially sweep all your funds while your asleep like alitin did.... Huh

    Am I missing something? Tongue
    1150  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Price Check / Possible Sale 2018 BitcoinPenny Platinum PR68 on: November 08, 2021, 03:26:57 PM
Well current price of platinum is $947 an ounce, so it's worth at least a quarter of that obviously. I think you should auction it because I have one as well, and I have been thinking of selling it too! 🤷😂
1151  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- Please Read! on: November 08, 2021, 03:22:53 PM
So... Is everyone peeling all their non 2fa's yet in case he pulls an alitin mint scam/sweep?  Huh

Glad I never really liked those to be honest although I did have some silver non-2fa .1s I sold already...
    1152  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Question about Lealana 5 Monero on: November 08, 2021, 01:33:17 AM
    Hi,
I've been contemplating buying a Lealana 5 Monero slabbed from a private dealer. However, I'm concerned because its so difficult (or impossible) to verify the funded value. Most likely this coin would never be peeled, but the inherent value of the coin lies in being able to prove the Monero is indeed on there. Am I missing something? Is there an easy way to figure this out? Help, please.

Hi - Generally speaking, you can trust the loaded value is on the coin even without docs, and peeling is also possible without the view key or docs.

What is the coin's number, I purchased quite a few rolls and still have the view keys for all of them , even the ones I sold.

What is strange is that smoothie never included the specific coin number to reference with a specific address, just a list of 20 addresses.

So let's say someone buys a roll with 20 coins, you get 20 addresses but no matching number for the specific coins to addresses.

That has never been the case with me for any funded XMR coins - Maybe with Bitcoin buyer funded or something, but NEVER with XMR coins - You ALWAYS get the PGP/GPG signed list of coins with all coin numbers, their addresses, and view keys for every coin in the roll.. If you did not get that, you either forgot to ask, and/or smoothie forgot to give it to you. In that case, I'd reach out to him for it, as it's part of the deal, a text file PGP signed with all the coin's signatures, addresses, and view keys.

    Thanks!

I asked for webmoney in exchange of btc in this forum, he messaged me in pm and gave his telegram, after i contacted, and paid 15$ btc for webmoney he cleared chat logs.  But i have saved the logs before he deleted.

usually i go through user's profile before deal, but this was small amount so i neglected it. He has self-moderated topic and deleted user's comments.
He must be a poor nigerian prince for scamming mere 15$.

He has also created topics here exposing other scammers, but he is a scammer.

    thanks,

Sorry, but mods do not ban scammers - why did you deal with him anyhow, he's tagged already as a scammer? Huh

Use this format and post it in Scam Accusations.

1155  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: November 05, 2021, 03:04:06 AM
    it's a bit of both:
on the one hand, we know how many of each color: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153959.msg57986389#msg57986389
on the other hand, we do not know which of the colors will be allocated to the 5- and 6-digit stamps. allocation randomly during wakening
what I couldn't find out yet are the figures how many 5-/6-digits are out there. but I think the last editions it was something about a 1:7 ratio.

Thanks all, I really appreciate the links etc. Good luck to all on CS 3.1 - Got my order the other day, will open some this weekend probably... Grin

Ok, chalk this up to an "I'm fucked in the head" kinda day sorry - I was trying to see someone who was saying they got banned, but I neglected to think about the fact that when I was testing it, it would NOT say "ACTIVE".... Sorry, I need sleep and having some personal challenges lately. Thanks for the help all, and for everyone who worked together to bring all these awesome tools together into this awesome extension. Ok, this is sooo weird...

I've restarted, removed and reinstalled etc etc - still the same. Here are my settings:

And here is an example from console....

Is the error at the end the issue? Huh

Thanks again everyone, love this extension. Smiley

I'm sure if I tried Edge or some other browser it would work, so I haven't tried that yet obviously. Tongue

Edit 2 - Maybe I should clean my chrome cache completely? Huh (Ugh, no!!!) Tongue

I'm noticing ACTIVE/INACTIVE/BANNED status is not working for me in Chrome but can't figure out why... Huh

It should be working. Do you have the "banned/inactive/archived" option enabled in the settings?

If it still doesn't work give me an example of a user profile that is not showing correctly.

I do. I tried enabling and disabling, and clearing all data but I've not restarted chrome yet...

it's not showing for any profiles, but I can see the element on inspection, like your profile says:

    Code:
    <span class="bpip-user-status bpip-user-status-234771 bpip-ext"></span>

I have to run out for a few hours, but when I get back I'll give it a restart (too many windows open I need atm / bad timing!)

Thanks for the fast reply/help! Wink

a friend of mine has been enough lucky to find a an Austrian CS 3.1 (CATS) *[yellow, 5 digits, only letters]  Undecided
how much it can be payed, likewise a decent offer for that piece ?!?
Did you know how many combination can be possible in that case*?

I have not seen a breakdown for the digits and numbers only the totals. I've also not seen any for sale yet so I'm not sure on that either.

Does anyone have such a thing like there was for CS 1.0?

Also was there ever one for CS 2s? 🤷

    Thanks!

Also, you don't need to know German in that telegram, just ask for what you're looking for in English and someone will DM you. I found a golden Doge yesterday in about 5 minutes on there.
