1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 08, 2023, 08:44:21 PM
I think Real were very lucky to win the CL last season. They were inferior to PSG in the last 16, Chelsea in the 1/4 final, Man City in the semi final and then in the final Liverpool should have scored about 5 against them.

I don’t want Man City to win the CL but I think they will batter Real in the semi final and then go on to win the final. No more last minute winners and snatch and grab victories for Real this season.

I did not expect that, Everton absolutely battered Brighton 5-1. Where has that Everton team been all season? They’re waking up at the right time to try and stay in the PL.

Southampton must win tonight against Forest, I don’t think even a draw is good enough.

Regarding top 4, I am hopeful but not expecting Liverpool to sneak into the top 4. We just have to keep winning and hope Newcastle and Man Utd drop points.

Today is a big day down at the bottom though, Leicester not doing themselves any favours currently losing 5-2 to Fulham. Brighton vs Everton next followed by Notts Forest vs S’ton. If our boys S’ton are to survive they need to start winning right now.

I’m a bit surprised we aren’t seeing more of a selloff considering how full the mempool is. Maybe the high fees are keeping people from moving their coins to exchanges to sell? I’d be a bit hesitant in the short term here until this market disruption is figured out. It does seem a little bit like the network is under attack.

It’s nothing we haven’t seen and got through before (you’ll obviously remember all the big block nonsense and Ver etc spamming our blockchain).

I’m quite confident we’ve seen the worst now, regarding price. We should trend up towards $40,000 by the time we reach New Year.

Keep HODLING boys.

Newcastle vs Arsenal
West Ham vs Man Utd

I will be hoping for two home wins to keep Liverpool’s slim top 4 hopes alive.

Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

Well this worked out well Wink

Top 4 we are coming (maybe).

First game for months, far from a classic but I’ll take the 3 points.

Not the best seats but in is in, I guess.

On my way to Anfield in 1 hour. It’ll be my first game since December due to other commitments. Looking forward to it, I have chose a good time to return as we are in better form. I’m expecting a win, hopefully a comfortable one.

Would be good if Man Utd & Newcastle drop points.

The co-main event has been announced. I’m not surprised that Amana Serrano will be fighting on it, I really think this will be a major mismatch.

Serrano beat Hardy really easily 4 years ago so she’s most likely going to be a big favourite here.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: May 04, 2023, 03:20:46 PM

This pic was from the press conference yesterday.

What do you think guys, Canelo clearly looks the smaller guy. Maybe Ryder can win this, bigger stature, longer reach?
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - what is your plan when we reach $100k? on: May 04, 2023, 03:15:42 PM
OP, you have a smart strategy. I also think that we will see at least $100,000 in 2024 or 2025, I actually think the next cycle will top out at $180,000 or something like that. I feel like we were cheated out of a parabolic run in the last cycle due to COVID & the China ban.

I will start selling some after maybe $80,000 or something like that. I’ll sell in increments on the way up. I will buy some more real estate & keep a bunch of fiat in the bank to buy back during the next bear market. I won’t sell any more than 25% of my stash.
1154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: May 04, 2023, 02:49:42 PM
We’re not yet in a full bull market. These scammers, grifters and charlatans only surface during bull markets where they can push shitcoins on gullible noobs and shill their promo codes for exchange signups etc.

Crypto influencers exist to make money and unfortunately there will again be lots of opportunities for them again in the next bull market.

By looking at Jude's proximity to Madrid, of course Liverpool are aware, especially with a price that is definitely very large if they are forced to compete there, so replacing the target for Alexis Mac Allister is also still very good.
His performance at Brighton is also quite good at the moment and of course they can also reduce expenses a little by looking at the price of the Alexis Mac Allister which is cheaper than Jude.
At the moment it is rumored that Liverpool are ready to bring in Alexis Mac Allister but the price is obviously very likely 60 million for this player but there is still no certainty about this and this offer is actually quite good also for Brighton who are always lucky in making some players who shine in them .

I think Bellingham is world class and destined for stardom but he is one player. We (Liverpool) need a lot more than one player in midfield. Our midfield is old, slow and past its best. If we sign Mac Allister and two others for the price of one Bellingham then I think we will be a better team.

Am I asking for too much for Brighton vs Man Utd to be a draw tonight? I really don’t want to get my hopes up by top 4 is possible for LFC now. It’s still unlikely but it’s possible. We seem to have stumbled on a nice streak of form  but it’s probably too late.

Brighton are a good team so Man Utd will not find it easy tonight. I think the draw is looking like a tantalising prospect for a cheeky punt tonight Wink

Pretty good we are holding steady despite the destructive apocalyptic nature of neocons in charge and leeches such as Jamie Demon destroying the retail fiat banking sector.

I want to believe that the world economy won’t dive into a deep recession but I’m still not convinced. The only reason I care if it does is because bitcoin will crash too. We’re still at a stage where we follow stocks & react to black swan events etc. Look what happened when COVID first hit, we nuked.

So here’s hoping for the FED to stop raising rates, banks to stop capitulating so the buds of financial Spring begin to show to allow us a raging bitcoin bull market in 2024 & 2025.

let's United against Brighton tonight, seems that CL fight is not over

I'm really not getting my hopes up. We have 4 winnable games, but even if United fails to win today they will still be in a great position.
If Liverpool wins all 4 games (which we probably won't), United still needs to win just 3 games until the end of the season. Same with Newcastle.

It’d be a great escape for us wouldn’t it. I’m not getting my hopes up either but imagine sneaking into 4th place on the final day. It’d almost feel like winning a trophy Cheesy
