1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of year price prediction on: June 25, 2012, 04:24:47 AM
Im calling it now, the price will slump / crash to $3.
1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: June 25, 2012, 04:24:07 AM
as I predicted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89759.0

The bubble is over, expect another slouch to $3 and also expect the reward halving in dec to have no effect on the price.
1143  Economy / Speculation / The bubble has popped, slow decline to $3 on the way on: June 25, 2012, 04:21:18 AM
All the speculators realized that they were the only ones playing the game.
no higher  than $5 dec 31st.

If you get scared, Im offering to buy out any large holders now at $4.50.
1144  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [92 left] BFL Jalapeno Lottery - Win a 3.5 GH/s Mining ASIC! (0.25 BTC/ticket) on: June 25, 2012, 03:58:08 AM
Its a classic turkey raffle (classic con except this one is even better - the turkey doesnt exist yet).
ie you raffle $100 to a crowd of 1000 for $1 ticket each.
The numbers check out, not a turkey just a loan. OP gets to hold onto 32 btc for a while, pirate savings anyone ? Tongue

Thanks for your input. I won't be holding onto BTC for long, the order will be made within 24 hours of the lottery closing and the winner will be given the receipt for the order which (s)he will (hopefully) verify here.

At rate of current ticket sales I'll be holding less than 32 BTC on behalf of customers for a total of less than 48 hours. As I said in the original post, though, don't do any transactions you're not comfortable with.

My entire expected profit is 32 BTC minus cost of a Jalapeno which is ~30 BTC with international shipping at the moment = around 2 BTC.

I wish you the best of luck and I sincerely hope BFL do not screw around the winner on delivery times.

Love the enthusiasm, but this just screams retarded. Selling tickets for an item you don't even own yet? Yippy, i can win a pre-order ticket....

Quite possibly illegal in OP's country, raffles of this nature are usually state run / charity operated.

Good luck all, but for the record - be very careful trusting new users which such a large amount of BTC.
Raffles of this type are completely reliant on the honesty of a single operator.

1146  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCBlink.com - Yet another bitcoin game. on: June 24, 2012, 06:46:04 AM
Not quite sure what you mean by an exposed secret, but im assuming a piece of data to confirm that the random number generated wasn't pre-selected?

Thats it yes, it gives players that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
1147  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: June 24, 2012, 03:40:44 AM
I hope you get feeling better man... That's no fun.  Shocked

Still a bit of lung noise etc but

1148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Big Changes at Bittleships.com, huge winnings! [Bittleships.com] on: June 24, 2012, 03:36:02 AM
Someone has been having a funky good time lol!

my juvenile humor is appreciated Tongue

I was impressed I got 3 ships doing that
1149  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCBlink.com - Yet another bitcoin game. on: June 24, 2012, 03:25:01 AM
well I just played several rounds to give the game a trial.

suggestions:
your site needs a FAQ for the players.
each game should show its end time or do you just play until all tickets are sold ?

As for random number issues, (Im still a bit groggy from my recovery) but I dont see any exposed secrets ?
That aside - on small rounds like this for me at least its not a large concern.

my suggestion for picking a winner.

sha512 (public secret * player 1 nick * player 2 nick * player 3 nick * etc ) then pick a slice that determines your random number.

^ Im not a crypotologist though, someone else here can weigh in on this.
edit: Im an idiot, the last player to play could determine which number wins. (still groggy ok Tongue )

another option is just like bitlotto

lotto numbers (we have weekly ones here, it would be a non issue to find a regular public pseudo random source).
sha512(public secret * lotto numbers);

anyway good luck Smiley
I made several bets to get the games rolling for you.
1150  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: June 24, 2012, 03:05:23 AM
Hi everyone - sorry for the long period without updates - the flu knocked the crap out of me.

Ive been going through the pending list while sick, here is a quick update (a proper one coming soon).

Bittleships - Good idea, Site is reliable, graphics and site refresh speed need addressing (not quick or flashy enough to hook gamblers imho).

bitcoinslots - I gave the site another thrashing after a user complained of unfairness - no hashing is used, my experience was much the same as a real slot machine (it eats your money but you get the occasional pay out). Cashing in and out was a non issue.

betcoin.eu - Sorry Im not a believer, Ive watched the game logs for a long time now and when a good number is due to come up for a player a bot wakes up and magically places a bet at the right time (2min either side of a 5-10btc bet that would win). I get the distinct impression someone with access is pre checking the next number and betting themselves. I have pushed a decent amount of BTC through this site at many different time intervals. Personally Id like to see the lucky number be generated based on the TX id to prevent cheating by the operators.

myriadcoins - works good, great for a site in Beta.
Suggestions: new colour scheme and bigger bank for the casino.

btcblink - randomness issues resolved the site admin  tells me, shall review and testing now.

jackpot dice is down / closed.

http://theluckybitcoin.com/ is closed - so sorry to here, my gf & I loved the keno on this site.

http://diamondco.in/ - down / closed

Requests:

Someone for the love of god resurrect kamikaze, it was an awesome game that imho suffered from being to fair (that 1st like would kill a casino). Me and my partner loved playing it and would love to see it or a clone back up.

Bitcoin Poker sites:
I love your tournaments, I definitely favour seals myself simply due to their tiny min bet.
I know that at least 1 other site runs tournaments (need to go check my own list).

I would like to see a co-op list that shows up coming tournaments (free & pay 2 play), prizes, counties allowed and time (in users current time). This would really push bitcoin poker to a higher audience imho, please give it some thought and when Ive caught back up on other stuff I will be in touch personally with the site admins to see if we can get them each to offer a rss feed we can scrape Smiley

It seems to be faster and you now get a green light when it finds a nonce!

yohan will be organizing payment tonight.
1152  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL ASIC Announcement - Truth or Troll ? - The LONG CON just got longer on: June 19, 2012, 12:42:14 PM
Some of you idiots should do us all a favor and kill yourselves.

most of us are ghosts, we died a long time ago waiting on BFL deliveries Tongue
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Quad XC6SLX150 Board - Initial Price £400/$640/520€ on: June 19, 2012, 12:26:57 PM
Ok time for a commercial nugget. We have decided a few things here in response to great support we have been getting from the vast majority of you all.

The first decision is that for any Cairnsmore1 order already placed/received or placed before the end of June we will allow the same customer to place orders up to the same amount again and at the same price during July, August or September 2012. If by chance we have a better offer they will be switched to that and receive that pricing.

The second decision is that until the we reach 800 MH/s on Cairnsmore1 the offer price will be available for any new orders. The 800 MH/s performance can be by any available bitstream and that changeover is at our sole discretion. The pricing changeover will be announced in this thread. The post 800MH/s pricing structure will be announced at this point and not before.

Our third decision is that any of competitors, apart from ***, that operate in a fair way are welcome to take advantage of our silicon prices and have their unit built in our line. There will obviously be some discussion on the price to do this work and you may, or not, like the price but that is an offer essentially with no strings attached. You are welcome to use this offer or not. We believe that Bitcoin will be better served with a range of competing FPGA hardware solutions available and that is the spirit in which this offer is made.

Yohan

1154  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New AISC company on: June 19, 2012, 06:53:30 AM
Greetings bitcoiners.
I am a zillionaire playboy investor.

I was curious about dragon fly so I used my own personal jetpack to fly to their company to see for myself.
Well I am impressed, my hash rate went up simply being near their company.

They have a warehouse full waiting to ship, I invested 10 quintillion usd in their company to get me started,  you guys should trust dragonfly as I did - otherwise you are a paranoid fool and a sexually confused loser

Ask me anything though hur dur, but if you don't want to spend your money that's fine - more for me.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Quad XC6SLX150 Board - Initial Price £400/$640/520€ on: June 19, 2012, 02:17:44 AM
...
Questions
  • Any settings etc I should be wary of when getting these going ? (dont want to blow them 1st round)
...

I'm sure you can't blow it, i switched everything and it's hashing ~140Mh/s and cold as an refrigerator Grin

As Yohan stated some pages befor, the shipping switches should be:
SW1 all on
SW6 all on (57600 baud 100Mh/s, 1 off 115200 baud ~140Mh/s)

SW2 all on
SW3 134 on, 2 off
SW4 134 on, 2 off
SW5 all on

Thanks Cheesy

<a lot of useful info>
Thank you, Glasswalker.

Yep, thanks heaps Glasswalker.

Guys sorry I have been a bit distant today and not done a few things I said I would do but thanks to *** I was run off my feet handling new orders and thanks to customers for all of those. I'm sure we will live up to everyones faith.

I have a complaint Yohan, you are being far to forth coming and honest about your product - please start ignoring and insulting your clients the way we FPGA bitcoiners  have become accustomed to. Wink

In all seriousness, you guys rock and its a pleasure to see a launch done right. (pre launch actually and that just makes it even more impressive).
1156  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL Labs ASIC release date - no earlier than February 2013 on: June 19, 2012, 01:31:57 AM
Hi guys, Im a billionaire investor (like richard branson only richer and hung better).

I decided to pre order 666 ASICS so I hopped in my personal jet and flew over to meet them all in person.
Their factory is amazing, their products look great.

yes they make their own chips, Sonny uses his powers of ESP to manipulate the atoms into place. The only thing second hand is the atoms Wink

I just thought Id let you all know this so you can rest easy knowing that an internet person has said its legit.
Ask me anything so I can reassure you about BFL.

Thats my word as an Internet billionaire and someone who has personal flown to BFL labs and invested heavily.
If I can trust them with 666*25k you can trust them with anything.
1157  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL ASIC Announcement - Truth or Troll ? on: June 19, 2012, 01:27:09 AM
BFL could easily silence all of us up by showing a hint of some proof.  But they can't because there is none.  Notice Inaba and Gigavps are (smartly) keeping their mouths shut this time.

This will work "Inaba your a bitch and a liar" - he will be here any moment now Tongue

Too many people are jumping right into BFL's arms, BLINDLY.

Not enough questions are being asked and not enough answered.

The Trade-Up program is going to create a HUGE shit storm in the end, because people just don't realize that once they buy a BFL unit with future hopes of this 'Upgrade' that they are basically signing up to be a 'BFL Bitch' for the long run....

Hi Bitlane, glad to see you have stopped attacking me with personal insults and have woken up (bitlane stooped to exceedingly offensive insults and accusations when I aired the same concerns regarding BFL).
Funny that you find yourself in my shoes now.
1158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this proof BFL mines real coins during testing? on: June 19, 2012, 01:20:50 AM
WOW. They really are making a boat load of $$$ these dudes.

So far it looks like they made 440 BTC or 2800 USD off the rig just by testing Huh

15 000 000 / 362 utility = Looks like they mined for 30 days straight !!!

to be fair to them it is quite possible that they use the same login for all their testing?

I also thought about that but then if they had same account for all devices how would they see rejects and stuff from the pool side Huh

Anyway, it looks like they make quite a lot just mining by themselves. 14 million shares is not nothing.

Also, seems Inaba is in on this game. Easyminer comes with EMC pool installed, they use his pool for testing.

This looks very dodgy to me but what do I know.

Yes Inaba is clearly in league with Satan BFL.

He will be here any minute screeching his support via long walls of text.

I am a minirig customer, and I say they can test, burn , mine or whatever they like to do to test the rigs before they send me, they have me blessings Smiley

Hey looks its Inaba's sock puppet - you can ask him any questions but every answer is the same "I invested $$$$, you're an idiot for not trusting BFL"
1159  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BFL and the law. on: June 19, 2012, 12:58:59 AM
Question of the day:  Who's going to head the lawsuit against BFL?

Obviously not you, since you don't have the balls to come up with some proof. Secondhand, my ass.

ignore rjk, he just trolls for BFL.
Ignore mem, he is retarded, just like galambo. Are they the same person?

must be hard defending a company like BFL when they constantly come off as lying dicks who have no respect for their clients and troll other respectable manufacturers.
Have fun seeing it through to the bitter end.

Please do not move this to legal, the BFL shills want this buried for the obvious reasons.
