There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Update: StrikeSapphire's maximum bet on blackjack is now $15 for new players and $25 for 'silver star' players (ie. players who have attained a certain number of 'player points').  It used to be $5 for new players, but was increased a few weeks ago.  There are now two types of blackjack table available to new players: one with bets from 10c to $5 and another with bets from 25c to $15.  Players with a silver star also have access to $1-$25 blackjack tables.

There's also talk of a 'gold star', but since nobody ever achieved one of those, it's unclear what that gives you access to.

Hi everyone - sorry for the long period without updates - the flu knocked the crap out of me.

Ive been going through the pending list while sick, here is a quick update (a proper one coming soon).

Bittleships - Good idea, Site is reliable, graphics and site refresh speed need addressing (not quick or flashy enough to hook gamblers imho).

bitcoinslots - I gave the site another thrashing after a user complained of unfairness - no hashing is used, my experience was much the same as a real slot machine (it eats your money but you get the occasional pay out). Cashing in and out was a non issue.

betcoin.eu - Sorry Im not a believer, Ive watched the game logs for a long time now and when a good number is due to come up for a player a bot wakes up and magically places a bet at the right time (2min either side of a 5-10btc bet that would win). I get the distinct impression someone with access is pre checking the next number and betting themselves. I have pushed a decent amount of BTC through this site at many different time intervals. Personally Id like to see the lucky number be generated based on the TX id to prevent cheating by the operators.

myriadcoins - works good, great for a site in Beta.
Suggestions: new colour scheme and bigger bank for the casino.

btcblink - randomness issues resolved the site admin  tells me, shall review and testing now.

jackpot dice is down / closed.

http://theluckybitcoin.com/ is closed - so sorry to here, my gf & I loved the keno on this site.

http://diamondco.in/ - down / closed

Requests:

Someone for the love of god resurrect kamikaze, it was an awesome game that imho suffered from being to fair (that 1st like would kill a casino). Me and my partner loved playing it and would love to see it or a clone back up.

Bitcoin Poker sites:
I love your tournaments, I definitely favour seals myself simply due to their tiny min bet.
I know that at least 1 other site runs tournaments (need to go check my own list).

I would like to see a co-op list that shows up coming tournaments (free & pay 2 play), prizes, counties allowed and time (in users current time). This would really push bitcoin poker to a higher audience imho, please give it some thought and when Ive caught back up on other stuff I will be in touch personally with the site admins to see if we can get them each to offer a rss feed we can scrape Smiley

Hey mem, thanks for the compliment in our thread on Keno! We don't get a lot of players for that so I'm glad someone appreciates it  Wink

Just a note, I think you might've put $15 in the wrong column based on what Dooglus said... our min cashout is always $5, never more. Our max bets are a little off in the list...here they are:

* Blackjack - $15 for beginners, $25 for Silver VIPs (up to 3 hands at a time, at up to six tables at the same time, if you can do that much blackjack).
* Three Card Poker - $5 for beginners, $10 for Silver VIPs (also up to 3 hands at a time)
* All of our Video Poker games have stakes up to $1.25.
* Craps - $10 for Silver VIPs (plus 3x pass line odds, making it a max $40 pass line bet).
* Sapphire Rummy - bets per hand are actually $0.15 up to $15. I'm not sure where the $10,000 came from... that's a little steep Wink
* Slots and Keno both take bets up to $1.25 (if you switch from $0.05 to $0.25 mode)
* Roulette - $0.01 to $5 for newbies, $50 max bets for VIPs.

Also, Dooglus mentioned in our thread we have a "certain level" where you can get Silver Star VIP status. I should clarify that. The level used to be 5,000 player points, back when he qualified for it, but it's since gone up to 10,000. On July 19th, it will go up to 20,000. Players earn one point for every $0.25 played in any game. They can be spent on poker freerolls, but when considering an application for VIP status we look at the total amount earned, regardless of whether they've been spent or not.

bitzino moved out of pending (catching up a site at a time when I have the time Wink )

Woot! Some additional details for bitZino:

Min bet is 0.000001 BTC (1e-6 BTC)
Max bet is 10 BTC
Min and max cash out are 1 satoshi.

Also, we are now Provably Fair

Also, I hate to be anal, but could you please change the spelling to bitZino (with a capital 'Z')? I'm trying to make the Z a core part of our branding. Wink

Thanks for putting all the work into such a great list!

bumpy

Shifted more sites from pending to their correct homes.

Still not online much, I have recovered from sickness only to be slammed repeatedly during my on call week for work.
Returning to human levels sometime this week I think.

Np's your Keno is praise worthy - (options + animation are very well done).
Fixed and updated your listings (thanks for catching me on that).

I had a nice win on StrikeSapphire's bonus poker while waiting for the freeroll:

4 4's in the first hand when playing 5 hands.

(I don't run it, just stumbled across it, looks cool)
Thx for the list!

Building a list of Bitcoin-related games at the aptly named: http://bitcoingamelist.com

This is not specifically for gambling, but that does seem to be the majority of gaming in the Bitcoin market so far.

Always good to see another list and really nice to see it plugging indie games Smiley

I have seen that FPS bitcoin before, its great.
Im to rusty (I last played seriously when modding quake 1) and Im afraid the kids would make me a laughing stock if I went on but I loooooove the idea. Adding both now.

Added and tested http://btcdice.com/ (satoshi dice clone).

Personally I dislike the site as it reeks of plagiarism, still imitation is the most sincere form of flattery so they say.

Thanks for adding bitcoingamelist.com to this epic post! I'm looking for more folks to submit games to the list, and I hope someday it's as good a resource as your gambling list.
