1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: December 07, 2016, 12:23:10 PM
If government emits cryptocurrency, that could also be another kind of fiat, not a replacement, at least if you stick to a definition of fiat money like todays wikipedia: "Fiat money", at least until it does not consume so much energy, that it could be seen as commodity money. So it would be pretty be more question on what kind of cryptocurrencies countries going to implement and what for it would be used.

Government can make simple coin, they will distribute coins as they wish, government officials will do that. I think they will create special group for this, like they always do.
It will be used for everything, and government will have higher control over their citizens, that is always their primary objective, too control us more.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2016, 07:27:43 AM
Where did you get idea for this thread? Bitcoin is banks nightmare, there is no way banks will accept bitcoin directly.
I wish stores to start to accept bitcoins as payment, then I will have where to spend bitcoins, banks are for keeping money, I already know how to keep my bitcoins safe.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: December 06, 2016, 07:50:22 PM
No, its not for me, I bet just on football. I dont follow other sports so much, except when my country is playing. There is no logic in betting on sports you dont know nothing about, its like throwing money. In case someone I have trust in give me a good tip for some sports I would place a bet, without that I will keep my money safe and bet on sport I know good.
1164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we start new year in $800+ or remain in $700+ on: December 06, 2016, 11:49:14 AM
Will we get there or not is question of time, price is so close to 800 dollars and we saw how price can jump for 100 dollars in one day. Even tomorrow we can see that, and what is next 900 dollars and more, and people will always wish more, I have seen questions when will it stop? I didnt see any good answer on that, just speculations. By the way I`m always happy when price is increasing, my stash worth more.
1165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your hidden reason for becoming a trader? on: December 06, 2016, 10:23:46 AM
Obviously we are looking to make as big as profit in the shortest time. Thats the bottom line. When I hear trading I'm thinking BTC forex which is extremely risky risky.

Its true, we wish to make big profit in short time, and that is not hidden reason. I see how people making money with trading, and that lure me into it. You think about btc forex trading, its something new or me, I like how people trade with altcoins. They are cheap, and I saw how some people earned a lot with eth just recently. I would like to trade with coins like eth is, buy very cheap and sell for a lot, my starting fond is small, btc trading is expensive for my pocket.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: December 05, 2016, 09:39:41 AM
Isn't its good market flow has not convice you yet? If you still have hesitation then you should go thorough research. I am new here in bitcoin industry but I am very convince as I do research and read posts and testimony of many people, that is enough for me and now my next step is to invest now in trading.

Its nice to see satisfied people here, I wish you luck with trading, we have similar plans. I also learn about trading, I read about other people experience, I watch some tutorials, and its very hard. I still dont understand many things, and Im afraid to invest my bitcoins into something unknown. Its not an easy work to be a trader, I get dizzy when i take a look at all the numbers changing all the time, how to pick right moment in all that mess.
I believe in bitcoin just cause of people from here, if future brings just half of what people talking here bitcoin can be universal currency used by everyone, and price can be higher then anyone could imagine.
1167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2016, 12:54:33 AM
Who am I to judge, bitcoins are perfect for internet and online payments for now. I see some problems that bitcoin have, long confirmation time, its not yet ready for 7 billion people, some countries don't have nice opinion about bitcoins, problems not disadvantages.

1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 04, 2016, 07:51:47 PM
I don't have any passive income, I don't know where is safe enough for me to invest my hard earned bitcoins.
I would rather trust someone from here then in some service that promise high profit with minimum investment.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1700115.0 I tried to open discussion about investment group from here, with some investment that can be a good passive income in long term.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: December 04, 2016, 05:35:31 PM
I bet on sports, and only after registration I saw that on sportsbet  minimum bet is 5 mBTC, that is too much for my pocket. After that I registered on betcoin site, there I bet for 1.7 mBTC and that is my avarge bet per game.
If there is betting on sports for less money tell me and I will change site, I'm not a rich person, I like when I can gamble for minimum money, then I know I will have for more bets.
1170  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: December 04, 2016, 10:16:56 AM
Until now I havent been scammed, simply cause i didnt invest my money anywhere except in sportsbetting. Im very careful with my bitcoins, I worked hard to collect them and i`m afraid to invest in something risky. This is not first thread about scams, after seeing so many stories how people have been scammed I plan to be extra careful. I still didnt learn how to protect myself on internet.
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 04, 2016, 09:20:48 AM
Like it or not we have to believe,it's part of our system, government imposed to it's citizen, you cannot boycott it,because you're using it daily and it's why you exist in your country, you can only get it out of your system if you are alone in a jungle.

Its much easier to like it when you have it. Its a privilege to spent money every day, many of us here forgot that feeling. We use fiat to buy food, drinks and other things we need, just fiat can be used for many other things also.
With a lot of money you are out, you can buy house and you can make your own electricity, water and just with a lot of money you can be independent.
1172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we create investment group? on: December 03, 2016, 04:01:35 PM
I see this topic attractes some attention, I already answered on some comments, trust is a big problem, arranging everything is not so easy.

The idea is good and can actually benefit those who will join but your main problem here is how can people trust you?

-snip-

And problem number 2, What if the trusted trader fails and doesn't give any profits?

I don't ask someone too trust me, this is investment, like any other if there is no profit everyone lose a bit of their money, that is how investments work, I can't promise anyone 100% profit.

This is a very hard and complicated idea. It may be possible but will be hard to implement.
I do not think so. Because some Forex trading platforms are already having this kind of implementation like we could follow some professional traders and we can have options to copy their trades by having auto-trade options enabled. This is not directly forming a group, but virtually we are trading along with another person.

This is a constructive comment, there is something similar already. I don't have frienda involved in bitcoins, but I like to make new friends. There is sites that offer this kind of investments but here everything will be transparent and just community members.

I wonder can someone suggest good and trusted trader from this forum. Or maybe some trader is willing to help us and this is nice opportunity for him to present his work to us who are ready to listen.

1173  Economy / Economics / Re: Central banks - who stays behind? on: December 03, 2016, 12:49:15 PM
If government sector is behind central banks then next in the line should be corporation, they pay for politician campaigns, they push laws and they dictate what will happen next. We have several strong families that are in top, Rothschild family, Soros, and in this point we can talk about illuminates, in some books they are on top of the pyramide.
1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Friendly Countries on: December 03, 2016, 11:34:14 AM
Most of the countries are bitcoin friendly. There is two ATM's in my little country. China, USA, India, Brazil, Russia and other big countries have most users, they have more bitcoins. But there is bunch of other little countries that give a little contribution to bitcoin. Some little country like mine have more chances to adopt bitcoins and change all government structure then some big one.
1175  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $1,000 by Christmas? on: December 03, 2016, 10:04:10 AM
Cant wait to see it. We already reached once again the highest price this year and 1000 price this christnas is possible. If bitcoin can get through the 800$ ,1000$ in price is real

If bitcoin can get through 800 $ then 900 $ will be real wish, and 1000 reality. Yes, one step at the time I also think that is good rise and logical sequence of upcoming events.
I also would like to see that famous 1000$, too much talking about it wake up wish in each of us.
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: December 03, 2016, 06:54:13 AM
My answer is also no, bitcoin doesn't help me in my daily needs. I don't have where to spend bitcoins and its impossible for me to pay bill's with bitcoins.
I'm just saving bitcoins, I expect one huge help one day, and that is what I'm working for.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: December 03, 2016, 05:32:30 AM
So much so that 15% of banks world wide expect to widely implement blockchain, which is a ledger of transactions updated in real time by various institutions, by next year, according to the report which surveyed 200 global banks.

These banks, mostly medium to large-sized institutions, are focusing their blockchain technology on three areas: consumer lending, retail payments, and reference data, which refers to the real-time information sharing of transactions across business divisions and institutions.

In four years, IBM says that 66% percent of banks expect to have blockchain in commercial production and at scale.

I don't know where you got this information and how much truth there is in this surveys, but this is very awesome as I can say . 4 years is not a long period of time, and if 66 % of the banks implement bloclchain in their system it will be more then just ordinary success.
This can bring mass adoption that bitcoin is waiting for sometime, and probably price will go up after this.
1178  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: December 02, 2016, 07:46:36 PM
Big crash coming if you look at the charts upside down. Smiley

Big pump coming is more like it.
No crash for now, the price is pretty stable and it's going up. Not even time to sell but always a good time to buy, it's expected to rise more so we should maintain our confidence with bitcoin, the future is great and the longer wait will work to give us better profit.
The crash will not happen right now even we are heard some hero member here that say there is a big crash will come that honestly the price is gradually increase. well we do not know tommorow or next day if the price will keep increase so better to don't panic sell if the price is decrease so that it will not dip the price below 700 value.
At bitcoin theres is no way to predict all the changes that can occur with it, with that said its possible after December bitcoin does loose some of its value, as well it can get an extra boost and achieve the 800 dollars and try to find support at those rates. The only things i do see crashing is the altcoins that looks like arent able to follow neither resist to bitcoin advance in value.

First comment was ironic, I see not everyone get this irony. Its a bit funny when you think about it. Bitcoin is going up for a while as I see it, and there is nothing big that happen that can stop that rise, at least I'm not aware of it.
It would be great price to be 800 soon, I can wait to see that.
1179  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: December 02, 2016, 05:30:49 PM
Yes, it matters to some extent, but I will continue using Bitcoin no matter what the price is.

Most people (including myself) will use Bitcoin regardless of the price.

But would you hold your coins for let's say a few years if price was not important to you? I wouldn't. I would just buy coins when I need to pay someone or to buy stuff online.

One more thing, bitcoin price represent how strong currency bitcoin is. I'm saving bitcoins I earn and for me current price is not so important, I look to save for a long time and I'm watching is it going up or down, that shows me is it getting stronger over time or bitcoin is getting weaker.
It's how I look at price of btc, and how I process that in my mind.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2016, 01:41:53 PM
Nothing. Exactly nothing will happen.

It doesn't matter now if satoshi reveals himself or not. Bitcoin will remain the same. There is no point in jailing him or critizising what he made. Did anyone imprison the one who invented paper money? No! The world just embraced the idea of paper money and just adopted it. This will also happen to Bitcoins.

In case he reveals himself there is big chance he will be able to claim his million bitcoins, and in this moment that is a lot. He can do many things, its out of the mind to try to predict what he can do with all this money.
Situation and circumstances when paper money was invented and adopted are not the same as now.
