1161  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX launches world's first Bitcoin Debit Card powered by an exchange on: July 12, 2014, 01:40:50 PM
You can do that, there's nothing to stop you, but do sellers in the US accept stuff like that?

Who said anything about sellers in the US?

I had the impression that you were from the US.

No, we don't charge an exchange fee if all you do is load up your card. It would be
1BTC x $600 x 0.975 = $585.

That's good, so I only loose 2.5% in total.

One more question. When we recharge the debit card, can we specify which currency the btc is converted to? For example, I buy and selling in GBP on the exchange, but I want to use the card in Europe. Can I choose EUR upon recharge, or all funds are always converted to USD?

For now, its always USD, but we will add other fiat currencies soon.
1162  Economy / Lending / Re: Get your loan today - 0.5 BTC to 4 BTC on: July 12, 2014, 01:10:17 AM
Buddy, I don't think so. Collateral Scammer! Only use escrow for collateral.

I said from the beginning we can use escrow. Funny thing is after @Vod says he gave me the neg rep as a "warning" and that I should start building trust. I offer loans with good interest and with escrow and first user to comment spreads FUD all over my thread. Won't be easy to build trust this way.
You bought an account to build trust? Very trustworthy

Exactly. Why buy an account? Why not just start a new one, and build up trust like that?
1163  Economy / Lending / Re: Locked keys in car, between jobs, need 1 Btc fast, pay 10% interest. on: July 11, 2014, 11:59:17 PM
Also, just some friendly advice. Don't buy BTC with virwox especially if you're low on money. Virwox charges insane fees. You can buy BTC via Coinbase, or a trader on here. I can sell you BTC whenever you need it at a much lower rate than Virwox.

appreciate that.

I can do this too. I can't lend you money for such a long period of time, but I can definitely sell you some BTC.
There are plenty of reputable traders in the Currency Exchange section, that will sell you BTC for PayPal, and with your trust rating, no one would deny trades.

OK but who is Terk and how do I PM him? Sorry but I am new here. So you think its possibly a simple typo? That would be great because I'm definitely getting worried.

Go to cex and run a rbillig bot.
Thank you remy, you are the best.

What the heck are you talking about???

Hi everyone, I'm new to mining and started pool mining this week with a Antminer U2 from my PC. I just purchased a Rockminer R-box and I'm wondering how I would run both at the same time. I'm using bfgminer for the U2 currently and have a command file for that.

I'm reading that the R-box only works with cgminer so I would have to run zadig to replace the driver and my first question is I would have to start using cgminer for the U2 also if I'm correct?

Second question is if I have both the U2 and R-box on cgminer, do I create 2 different command files for each one and then have 2 separate command windows running or can I combine the code for both miners into one command file and have just one command window?

Thanks for any help in advance

cgminer should detect both devices without any problems.

Our card isn't made for you to buy cars. It's supposed to be used for everyday transactions such as paying for your dinner, buying groceries and such. I assume you don't buy a vehicle every day?
And no, there are no other fees. Our exchange has lots of security features, and most of our funds are stored in cold wallets, far from our office.
We don't have a policy if our exchange gets robbed, but we would repay customers as quickly as possible from our own funds.

But my point is what would theoretically stop one from buying a car? if what you're saying is true then this is a very appealing deal, however if it's false (as I suspect) then it's probably worse than a bank.

Do you have any insurance policy? Any type of legal document that you would provide? I can't exactly take you on your word that you'd repay potential hundreds of thousands of dollars that you claim to have.

We are planning an audit and a proof of reserve which will take place soon. You simply cannot load that much money onto your card to buy a car, and everything I'm saying is true (Although some tiny details may change).
We are a registered company in Hong Kong, and we also have a Money Transmitting license from the MSO in Hong Kong, which is basically the equivalent of FinCEN in the US.

What would stop me from loading 5.23BTC once, spending all of it in a single 3300$ transaction, refilling with another 5.23BTC, spending all the 3300$ again, then repeating the process multiple times?

You can do that, there's nothing to stop you, but do sellers in the US accept stuff like that?

The 2.5% fee is not a limit, is a fee to transfer funds into the debit card, and the card storage limit is 3300 USD which is pretty good for almost every person who want to use it for shopping, or have money ready.

ANXPRO

So
A little more details like limits and fees would be great, before one signs up for something.

The limits would be the amount of currency that you have loaded onto the card is 3300$, and the only fee is 2.5% of the amount you load onto the card. The card will only cost $10 USD.

Yeah, sorry about that, due to some communication problems I didn't receive that information. Also, the price for the card isn't $10 either, prices have been updated.

So what if someone loads up, say 15BTC, would the card refill every time the balance goes below 3300$? Are there any 24 hour limits, withdrawal limits, any other sort of limits?

Good question. As far as I know, you simply cannot load that much btc, and you would only be able to load a maximum of 5.23BTC, since the limit is $3300. There aren't any other limits as of right now.

If I load 1btc into the card and the current market price is $600. How much will I have on the debit card?
Do you charge exchange fee on top of the recharge fee?
1btc x $600 - ?% exchange fee - 2.5% recharge fee

No, we don't charge an exchange fee if all you do is load up your card. It would be

1BTC x $600 x 0.975 = $585.

Seems illogical, what if one would want to purchase a car for 15,000$ he could then reload 5.23BTC every couple of seconds and break it down into 3300$ payments? What are you missing?

What if you pay in a different currency? What are your exchange rates? What if you pay in USD abroad, what other fees would incur? What is your policy in case your exchange gets robbed?

There are really many questions and no one qualified to answer them, I have already been tricked into subscribing with my email/name only to find out that this is complete crap.

okay so is it possible that I could use a different adapter that provides more volts to power all 10 asics instead of 6? Also can i mine Aurora coin through the script side of my gridseed? I've been mine in Aurora coin for a couple days now it says I have thousands of shares and I have so many coins but at the bottom it says I have zero confirmed and zero unconfirmed, am I doing something wrong?  also one more quick question is it normal to only be able to run 14 asic saffires on cgminer? if I install any more than 14 it just goes dead.

You can mine auroracoin with your gridseed, but not with your other sapphire USB miners. Yes, you can get a better USB hub.

Update:

I have now received official confirmation for the price of the debit cards.

0.06BTC: The International ANX Bitcoin Debit Card, delivered to you by registered shipping with tracking number.
0.08BTC: The International ANX Bitcoin Debit Card, delivered to you by express shipping with tracking number.

Just in case the price crashes to 100$ before you ship. Cheesy

Y las comisiones de uso ó mantenimiento, se saben ya?

Si. No hay comisiones de uso o mantenimiento. Se cobrará un 2.5% del dinero que recargas en la tarjeta, y nada más.

i did not send any pm to anyone and i dont spam anywhere no the forum you can see my posts.. here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=76446

Want a help from a moderator.

U r perma-banned or banned for a certain period ? If it is your first time, then most likely the second one is true and u should feel lucky that Vod has not already turned u Red for asking loans without co-laterals. Moreover, in your last post u said your alt account can be a co-lateral... this may also be a reason for your ban, though I'm not sure about the exact forum rule of holding alt accounts as co-lateral.

Theymos clearly stated that alt accounts are permitted, as long as they aren't used to evade bans. OP is doing this, evading a ban, and will probably be IP banned or something similar.

Where I can check my or others ip? Only mods can do it? IF he has not permanent IP someone else can be banned instead.

Yes, if his IP is dynamic, his whole region might get banned too.
You can check your IP by simply googling "What is my IP?".

dont know but i did not spam i know.. after wards i stopped asking for loan..

the moderators are a bit harsh..

I know they're trying to do their best

but it's pointless to ban someone if he didn't know he was doing something wrong

they could of just deleted your posts and sent you off with a warning..

He was repeatedly told that he wouldn't get a loan without collateral, but he continued begging. If you read the stickies, you wouldn't have these problems, and you deserve to be banned.
Oh, and you will probably get IP banned for creating an alt to avoid the ban.
