1181  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: February 29, 2016, 09:50:43 AM
We buy Bitcoin because we think that we can earn some money with it. It is an investment that we make.
But you never know what can happen later in the future. I think that the value will rise for a long time. It is now already rising so that is good.
1182  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: February 29, 2016, 09:47:20 AM
Will be a standard currency, but not replacing any fiat currency around the world. but maybe a currency of choice for the world market.
I think I just going to save it. You never know what can happen with the value. The value is now rising.
But it can also happen that the value will go down in the future. But I sell it when I think I will get some profit later.
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: February 29, 2016, 09:43:58 AM
As you are having 40 btc (I consider you as a Mini Whale)

I can see many people having more than 10 btc are enjoying trades at the cost of small traders.

I would rather suggest to invest in a potential coin sit back and enjoy profits Smiley

In the bitcoin trade, people with 40 or 100 bitcoin are not whales. They can easily be absorbed by markets.

how much btc do you think is enough to qualify one as a whale?

In order to move a market in an exchange, you need at least 1000 bitcoin to do that. That is just a small whale.
Just a wait a little longer. Dont give up so fast, that is not good. I hope later that the value will rise.
And if you are looking at it. You can see that the price is rising. But you never know what can happen in the future.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 29, 2016, 09:40:53 AM
That cant happen in gambling. I think many people lose a lot of money with gambling and that is not good.
I think that more people realize to late that they lose a lot of money and that is not good. You always lose more money than you win money.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin prices jump to $600+ in... on: February 29, 2016, 09:37:20 AM
That will not happen so that fast. Of course if you are now looking, you can see that the price is rising. But it doesnt happen fast.
I hope later that it will rise for a long time, so many people will have get some profit of it and that will be good.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: February 29, 2016, 09:33:21 AM
Of course it is worth it. It is worth $400 right now. That is definitely a lot if you ask me. So it is definitely worth to me.
to me, This is valuable not because its price.
but bitcoin is valuable because of its function.  Tongue Tongue
I think bitcoin is worth because the price is also. what would happen if bitcoin does not have a price? Are you still using it?

Well Bitcoin does get his job done. So i think i will still do. Plus the anonymity of using Bitcoin is what will get him through. That and the profitable context of it.
Of course Bitcoin is worth to us. It has a value so it must be worth. Other wise people wont want to have it.
You can do many things with it and that is good. You also can get some money from it and you can buy things with it.
1187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: February 28, 2016, 07:30:42 PM
1. i do money management
2. risking 10% of capital for each trade
3. once the price crossed the current trend , it's my position.
4. cut loss on -20%

and the last and the most important are "stick to the rules"

I like the the last rule you've mentioned here specially in conjunction with the rule number 4.
Sometimes even I know that the market is turning bearish, I'm not sticking with my rule to cut my losses at a certain percentage which ends me lossing more. So yeah, I'll follow that rule religiously next time.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 28, 2016, 07:25:28 PM
The safest way to bet is bet small with very small odds and try to make less bets , like if you make 1 million bets per hour, you would surely end up with loss, so try to make small and slow bets. You will make some profit Wink

Even if you make small bets or big bets you end up losing.
Remember gambling is meant for the house to win. Nothing else. Every good gambling game is set to have the player lose.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: February 28, 2016, 07:22:05 PM
Shouldin't take a lot of time,  price is 420$ now anyway, so thats 80$ only, should go to 500$ in 2 months, i think even leaa

Well my guess is the price will go up to 480 next week. Then after a week of less turbulence we can or may see the price rise up to 500 dollars.
It is just a guess, not based om real proof.
1190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin mining vs. bitcoin cloud mining on: February 28, 2016, 07:19:04 PM
Can anyone here please tell me if bitcoin cloud mining is actually profitable
and are there any good companies out there to actually try?

Let me tell you my experience about cloudmining
I mined with GAW/LTCGear > No profit/scam
I mined with Zeushash > No profit/scam
I mined with Genesis > No profit/scam
I mined with Hasnest> No profit

So no, I don't think there is profit to be made there.
1191  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: February 28, 2016, 07:16:25 PM
Yeah me too, I dont think he has that amount of bitcoin coz most of the bitcoiner that has even 10btc doesnt telling to anyone that they have that amount. But anyway if this is true the requested loan must not be higher or equal to the collateral  for you to gain some profit.

Wel yes. Remember a lot of users are not really loaning they want something else. To scam people.
Even if you got collateral they will try to scam you. Therefore i would never enter the loaning business. Even for personals loans.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: February 28, 2016, 07:12:14 PM
It wont ofcourse hold the 400. It is hard to predict what is going to happen. But I hope later that it will be more worth for a long time.
I also think that Bitcoin will also becoming more popular and that more people use Bitcoin. That will be good in the future.

I'm thinking the opposite it will hold the 400 dollar the people are believing again in the bitcoin so the amount will hold.
Its of course unpredictable, but I think it will even rise to a higher market price this month.

I think the price will hold above the $400 level if the core team does not delay the increase of block size.
Yes. I think that the price is indeed now rising very slowly but that is good for some people who made an investment. They will get some profit later in the future.
I hope that we can have a lot of profit in the future. And that Bitcoin will also become more popular.

For the people who are confident about the future of bicoin, as long as the price rises in long term, the short term price does not matter.

Yeah the moment you believe in bitcoin and it's future you know 400 is a bargain price.
Even with so much whales and dumpers, there are many things to come which can influence the price upwards.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: February 28, 2016, 07:09:26 PM
Barcelona should play carefully because Sevilla not that easy to be underestimated. but with their current condition and play at their home , Barcelona will be the favorite team for everyone in this match. Just like the others i will take safe bet with under 4,5 goals @1.5

Remember we are talking about barcelona. I know Sevilla has a good team, but when it comes to Barcelona it's clear they only have a difficult time when they play atletitco and real madrid.
Betis, Sevilla etc. are not really a match.
1194  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget Grexit. BREXIT is the Bigger Threat to Europe. on: February 28, 2016, 07:06:08 PM
Maybe the rest of the EU will breathe a sigh of relief when the UK's gone. By the sounds of it all they do is moan and bitch anyway.

I don't think so. The United Kingdom is one of the donor nations within the EU, and they help to subsidize the poorer nations such as Poland and Lithuania. If the Brexit occurs for real, then the pressure on the other donor nations (such as Germany, Netherlands, and France) will increase significantly. They are already under a lot of strain as a result of the Greek bailout.

Yeah the rich northern countries will have to pay more. Even worse is that they are already doing most of it.
Donations; refugee problem etc.

Perhaps they will use it to grow their influence in the Union.
1195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: February 28, 2016, 07:02:51 PM
My guess is that litecoin will die. The coin has nothing new nor anything to bring in the game.
It's a cheap rip off of bitcoin. No innovation whatsoever.

When it comes to bitcoin, well it will depend if we can make it go mainstream. If that happens, it will be the future.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: February 28, 2016, 07:01:47 PM
I don't have special wallet for my gambling purposes set up. So I don't manage my gambling spending that well. But I think that I am wagered far less that 1 BTC in total.
I would rather win low that lose hard.

I got the same strategy. I always play with low amounts. Never more then .2 BTC.
Therefore my losings are controlled and so are my winnings. The reason i do this is that i don't believe in gambling.
1197  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 28, 2016, 06:58:31 PM
Gold is an asset which must be held for at least 10 or 20 years.
Yes but this is something for your kids..
You can buy them investment gold on day they are born, better than saving money for their school.
This is right approach.
If you want investment with great return, chose BTC.
Essentially, you can use gold to invest in a long time, because gold is always valuable, but if you want to try to do business, then bitcoin is better than gold, because it is so much choice in doubling the bitcoin. I prefer bitcoin than gold today

sure gold always valuable..? can you explain about supply of gold ?
we must invest at bitcoin where bitcoin have block halving system to control bitcoin supply
yeah, you only can get gold from mining underground.
and the gold supply isn't unlimited like bitcoin, so that's why the gold will be a good choice to invest long time

Yes investing in gold is a very good idea for long term but investing in bitcoin is worth risk taking if everything goes well you can earn a lot in bitcoin

Well both are quite risky. Remember OIL? Nobody expected it go this low ever.
And look now. The financial world just kicked it out, like it was nothing. The same applies for bitcoin and gold.
1198  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: February 28, 2016, 06:54:10 PM
sell only if you very very need money, otherwise, keep them, their price will rise up again, you just need to wait for right moment,  like i will sell them only when they'll be 1000$

Agreed. The price right now is like it will go to 500 within a few weeks time.
If you find out that yo sold them for just 430 dollars, it would make you very sad in a few weeks.
1199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: February 28, 2016, 06:49:41 PM
I would prefer bitcoins over anything related to money. I think bitcoin wallet is what I would choose, reason being see I can use my funds more easily and at the comfort of my house, moreover I can send them easily and anonymously Wink

I like bitcoin more then any other payment method, however the usage these days is mostly focus on banks and creditcards. Therefore my choice
would be bank.
1200  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: February 26, 2016, 03:49:23 PM
It might be a shop that sells classic guns which are not in working condition.

The current legislation in EU permit to buy such items from various countries and easily make a working
Kalashnikov.
Check Slovakian and German AK.
This item is legal in EU and banned in USA:

Maybe in some Eu country's but not in the Netherlands can't imagine that any EU country aloud such weapons.

I find this very scary because if this is possible what is not possible these days, I think this shit is over the top because this can really kill people.
I once saw someone selling the useful stuff knifes and all of that kind of things but I never thought it would go this far.
