Something I'm wondering about -

I understand that the client seed/server seed/SHA256 hash and all that text is somehow there to prove that the game was dealt fairly, but I can't seems to figure out how those characters actually relate to the cards that are dealt. Would someone be kind enough to walk through the process? I did find a SHA256 calculator here: http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator

excellent question, Im surprised no one thought of it earlier.

 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Yeah that bet yesterday killed me Sad Now I must subsist on ramen noodles for weeks. But the show must go on!

Technical update - the hundreds of pending transactions which got stuck over the past 4 days have been cleared and processed. System is running smoothly again, if somewhat impoverished Wink

ouch it can be rough being the casino.
Perhaps consider changing the formula for the max bet to int(POT/4)  ?

either way keep up the great work.

1188  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: May 29, 2012, 03:26:08 AM
Updated listing for bitcoinslots, definitely not unattended.

Site admin says the user was attempting to cheat the software.

Removed unattended notice while dispute is resolved.

Responding for Tenebob.

Site admin is responding and issues have been raised against the user making the complaint.

Hi mem,
I just noticed that some issues are raised against bitcoinslots.net.
The user that claims it's a scam tried to cheat me and I cought him just seconds before he to  withdraw the stollen bitcoins.

What does he do is when start to play he goes offline so the losses are not counted at all, and if he wins goes back online and continue with more credits if fails he starts again with the untouched credit, goes offline again and so on.

First he tried with small sum, I didn't notice that at first - 0.2 BTC And he withdrew the sum I thought that he got some luck, nothing to worry about. But then he tried with more bitcoins and I cought him.

So the scammer is him, not me. When I found outwhat was happening I stoped the whole website to find a way how to fix that and finaly I implemented a methods to block players who are trying to cheat.

I will not disclouse what they are  but every player that plays in a way it should be played will not have problems with that.

The whole time this riddiculas event was happening I was as well bombarded with mysql injections and dos attacks.

That helped me to improve  the security of course, but this doesn't make bitcoinslots scam I believe

How dare he to talk when he was the real cheater. I'm sure that if he successeded he was never going to give the sotlen back

1192  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Security Warning] bitcoinslots.net is a scam on: May 26, 2012, 02:39:26 AM
I did play this site myself several times to verify (cash in and out after a win and a loss).

Thanks for the heads up, I'll just make a note against the site for now while we investigate further.

actually better than that, the admin ( tentob ) is a forum member I have pm'ed him and linked him to this thread.

if no response (and there is definitely issues) it will be shifted to the unattended section until resolved.
1193  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: May 26, 2012, 02:26:19 AM
added game review section.
Needs a better title but this section is intended to hold info for new site admins looking for advice and publicity for their new games.
I could really use that help mem,as things have really slowed down :/

hey mate, lets see what we can do.
1194  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: May 26, 2012, 02:21:32 AM

1198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the next 2 years, no take-backsies on: May 25, 2012, 02:55:50 AM

Actually, if you take into account that Android is in fact built
on top of Linux, one could make a case that it's also gained a
fairly decent foothold with everyday people Smiley

Good point  Smiley  For the record, I've been using Linux since Redhat 5.2. Your Linux reference just reminded me of the major hype around the Linux desktop back then, and how it is still around and improving but never really took off the way people thought it would (i.e. Windoze killer).

As for Bitcoin price, IMHO I see the Bitcoin value going higher, MUCH higher due to all the uncertainties regarding fiat currencies, and for the simple reason that as governments around the world become more and more totalitarian, more and more people are going to be looking for ways to hide their wealth and purchases from the tax man  Grin

Hey another 5.2 guy Cheesy I got it with with PowerPC as a cover disk, feel in love, installed Enlightenment with a funky theme and never looked back.

Never made the impact on the desktop we were hoping for, but I have made a career out of being a linux SysAdmin and I can say it is definitely a success in the server market.
1199  Economy / Currency exchange / Alt Australian Exchanges to Bitpiggy on: May 25, 2012, 02:25:34 AM
I <3 bitpiggy, but unfortunately stolen funds have stopped them from doing any more processing.

Any other reliable exchanges for AU that someone can recommend ?
1200  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - Verified rolls, up to 64,000x winning on: May 25, 2012, 01:40:38 AM
New feature:

Custom payout addresses.

Implemented following: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34007.msg911924#msg911924

If you add an additional payment to your bet transaction sending 0.00543210 BTC to an address, the payout for the bet will go to that address.

If by an improbable fluke your change happens to equal 0.00543210, that change addresses will be used to send the payment, which should be fine.

I've made a bet for BitLotto for the idea of how to implement this using this feature.  Looks like it won.

neat idea I like it, curious does this work well for online wallets ?
