^ Not really that big of an advantage... Like you said, just a a couple of points ahead vs Klopp and Arteta. Klopp is a very capable manager and Arteta has proved that he could handle his own too.   I don't know what to say, to be honest, I am speechless. I really believe Alex Pereira is crazy. That dude got kicked in the "unmentionable" area. Herb Dean tried to stop the fight for a moment and Alex Pereira pushed him aside and kept fighting. Right after that he knocked his opponent out. These things can only be done by crazy people. Of course, Hill missed some chances where he could not connect. If he did the outcome of the fight could have been very different. Anyway, Alex Pereira was able to connect and was able to win the fight. In the end, he also did celebrations taunting Israel Adesanya. To be honest I expected better from Jamahal Hill. But anyway the knockout was definitely incredible. UFC 300 has given people a lot to talk about, to be honest. I think Pereira and Max Holloway might actually boost the popularity I would better draw a red line to Hills right hand position and put numerous exclamation marks or add a warning sign. You know your opponent is known for finishing guy with left hook, you know he lands low kicks a lot. You protect body...  In next few seconds you are knocked down by left hook.  Wonder what was Hills game plan for this fight. 1) walk, stay slow, safe stamina 2) protect body 3) try to outstrike best striker and rely as much as possible on own speed 4)... 5) profit Pereira in UFC. Debut > 2 fights > title fight and a victory > title loss > debut in light heavyweight > title fight and a victory. Give this guy to Ankalaev already.  Odds are in for the 1st June, UFC 302 event:

Yup kinda good, as McGregor hasn't really fought in a long while after breaking his leg. And he has been in a lot of prior engagements with his move role which I haven't seen yet. Should prolly watch it soon. Makhachev vs Poirier is whatever... We know who wins. Let's just hope they hype Poirier enough to make the line for Makhachev land at 1.35 or something. It's funny how the league is turning out. Liverpool lost against Crystal Palace of all clubs and Arsenal on the other hand prolly forgot that Unai Emery is a man on a mission if they're going against them in such a crucial match in such a crucial part of the part of the season. Instead, Max one again, showed whos boxing is one of the best in UFC. Well deserved 300k for a fight. Yup, totally... After that match, I wasn't interested in the last two matches that were coming up. Lol. I was just there browsing the net and eating my snacks. I had a small bet on Hill and I didn't even care if it would win or lose anymore. I usually am interested no matter how relatively large or small the bet is. If Holloway decides to stay at 155, there's a chance he could get a title shot, but will have to wait a bit. Islam says he wants to do 3 fights a year, that's why he got Poirier for June. Later (if he wins) he'll probably fight Arman (again) and then he could be matched up with Max. Although it's possible that the UFC will prefer to give the shot to Max before Arman, given Max's great performance and the fact that Islam has already fought Arman in the past (and it wasn't a super exciting fight). He'll prolly go back down and try to get the belt at 145 which was once his... Watch the post fight interviews. From what's he's saying, he wants Topuria next. He prolly doesn't want to give his seat away to some German who wants to return to F1. Do you think Sebastian Vettel would like a seat at Aston Martin even if he decides to return? I'm not sure about that after having really bad memories with the team. He wouldn't like to be the teammate of Stroll in the first place.  Stroll isn't the worst driver on the grid maybe but he still needs to put a lot more into his effort. If Vettel makes such decision I would expect him to eye the Mercedes seat which will be empty after Hamilton joins Ferrari. I guess the German team would lean towards such deal also. However I don't think he will return as a driver anymore. Did he really have bad memories with Aston Martin? He left with mutual undertanding with the team. And afaik he just retired as he felt like he didn't have it in him to race anymore. And as for Stroll being his teammate, any old F1 driver who couldn't get a seat with a top team would looove to have Stroll as a teammate because Stroll sucks. It would be easy to out qualify him and out point him. :/ I think another reason why it would make sense for Mercedes to get Vettel is he would make a good mentor for Mick Shumacher. |

No matter what they change they can't make it more interesting F1 unless a team builds up and makes a huge upgrade package to their car in order to fight Redbull.We have seen some sparks of that in Ferrari yet the last race in Japan made us all forget about Ferrari and put in the spot light once again the domination of Redbull.
The China track is more wide but when it comes to being a technical one it is not that much different from Suzuka,the same here,the drivers love this track although more wide and longer than Suzuka,I expect not a lot of change regarding the race as I continue to expect full Redbull domination even in here.
Yep. but Fia can also do what they did on 2021. In the winter of 2020 they decided to remove the 20% of all the cars drag from back the car. Fia chosen to nerf the main strength of the Mercedes and RBR won the title the following year. FIA knows why RBR is so strong in comparison to the others, and if they want they can remove they strenght. Will they do it? That doesn't make sense. So if Horner and Newey really makes the move to Ferrari and Newey builds a car from scratch that has the technical advantage over the rest, it's ok for the FIA to remove Ferrari's advantage because the other teams can't keep up? C'mon... That would be total bs. Not sure why they did it with Merc but they shouldn't have done it unless there's something else is amiss. But since it's Ferrari, no way the FIA will remove it.  |

^ Don't get me wrong, all in all I think it's good rule since most of these guys just get their post count up. And I'm not telling anyone what to do, I just think there should be exceptions. Barelona is ready and is negotiating with liberty media, they are trying to get the license for the grand prix after 2026.
Mercedes has already saved Max Verstappen's possible salary for the next few years' budget in case they manage to get the driver's yes.
It would be ridiculous if they managed to get the driver ok, but couldn't sign him due to exceeding of the salary cap.
Verstappen to Mercedes is not happening unless Verstappen deliberately leaves Red Bull because of all the shenanigans going on over there. If it's just a regular transfer thing, nope... Not happening. But if he does leave that means because of the salary stuff, Russell has to leave or takes a pay cut. I know one guy who's willing to take a pay cut... Vettel! Get him back on the grid! Fernando Alonso has just signed the renewal of his contract with Aston Martin.
All rumors about his future arrival at Mercedes in place of Lewis Hamilton next year have therefore fallen away.

^ The more interesting question tho is who would be interested in buying the team if Renault was really planning on selling the team? We've seen a couple of new teams getting in at 2026 after the new spec changes. So that prolly means there could be others wanting to get in but not knowing the cheapest way to enter... And buying a team could be cheaper than starting one from scratch. I miss those days when F1 had Toyota and BMW in there. I think it was Williams that had the BMW power unit. |
