1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: May 30, 2023, 01:18:01 PM
^  Not sure what would happen with the belts in the Bellator vs Rizin event, but the UFC and the PFL had a one match deal for Kayla Harrison to fight Amanda Nunes for the women's 145 championship in the UFC since the fight will take place in the UFC.  So I guess it will depend on what kind of deal they have signed.  I'd imagine Kayla Harrison getting a three fight UFC contract if she did win vs Nunes.

Anyway, the last one had Bellator fighters beating up most of the Rizin guys.  Some skill in wrestling and grappling really made a huge difference in those match ups.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 30, 2023, 01:02:14 PM
And BJJ in MMA is different as you have to watch out for strikes and take downs, same as how boxing is different in MMA.  That's why I don't think Nate Diaz's 'boxing' will be very effective against Jake Paul.
I am not giving Nate Diaz big chances in this fight against Jake Paul, but man he knows how to take a lot of beating and I dont think he can lose with KO.
If this fight was happening in MMA I would give advantage to Nate Diaz, but maybe it will happen in future because I believe he signed a contract like that with PFL.
I made a lot of jokes with Jake Paul before but after recent fights he proved to be tough and he learns quickly.

It's not a question of durability.  It's a question of Nate Diaz's motivation in taking this match up.  I watched their press conference, the one with Diaz leaving the whole thing.  Lol.  From the looks of it the guy is disinterested and just wants to pick up some boxing money and leave.  So he'll prolly just look for the first opportunity to quit.  Dunno... But fk me if it's all mind games and Diaz comes out really ripped and ready to go to war for all 8 rounds.  Cheesy

Dropping a free fight vid to watch before the event...  Enjoy.

the next 1000x this year is in memecoin, but of course it's very high risk if you really make an investment there,
and the list that I got is PEPE and Floki, if you look at the chart it's likely that Fomo will still continue especially these two tokens already on Binance.

The 1000x move has already happened with both imho.  PEPE and FLOKI are now both too high in market cap to make a 1000x.  And they're also now both crowded trades.  I think that's another good criteria for a great 1000x coin...  'Buy it low while no one is looking'.  As at the moment everybody online knows about the trade, it means you're already too late.

I think PEPE was a good example of the criteria.  I guess the next thing to look out for is if DOGE has SHIB and FLOKI, what are their versions in PEPE?  Find out and buy while nobody's looking.

At Superbru, I had Perez on pole position, but I can forget about that now because of the crash. But it's still exciting, so it's more likely to be Verstappen or Leclerc. But we're moving on now, Hamilton is also out at the moment.

A flying lap!

Thinking about this pic...  Didn't it expose Red Bull's floor and now the other teams could possibly copy it?  Been seeing some people laugh about it online and saying that it's possible that the other teams, *cough cough Aston Martin*, could copy it and be more competitive vs Red Bull.  I really didn't take them seriously but then again, what if?

Ferrari and Mercedes could do it too.  I guess we'll after a couple of races.  It could make some markets more interesting as Hamilton, Russel, Leclerc and Sainz all have better chances for a podium finish which might not be reflected by the odds.

What do you guys think?
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 29, 2023, 12:37:35 PM
The race was quite boring even with the rain lol.

These cars are so easy to drive in comparison of cars of 20 years ago. Noone crashed even under the rain.

About the race, I still think this GP must be deleted, is the most boring one, 90% of the time who does the 1st turn ahead wins the race.

It kinda added a little fun in the race tho and a few laughs too...  Like how Kevin Magnussen went out slipping and sliding when he got the hards on the wet track.  Cheesy

But yeah...  Overall boring esp with how big the modern F1 cars are.  Stopped watching a few laps before the end of the race after accepting the result that Hamilton will have the fastest lap and I'll lose my bet.  Lol.  I pictured it differently in my head.  I thought it was gonna be an easy RBR 1 - 2 and both Perez will keep pushing and force Verstappen to push too.  It was rather a relaxing race for Verstappen.

And I think this is how I feel for Alonso this season...  With Verstappen the most likely winner every race.  :/

1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 29, 2023, 12:23:10 PM
^  Yeah...  Some fighters' grappling credentials don't translate in MMA mostly because of the style they fight.  But if they go join an all grappling BJJ tourney they'd prolly be decent.  Another guy who hasn't shown much BJJ in the cage is Shogun Rua.  Lol.  It's always been highlighted that he's a BJJ black belt bet he never uses it because he wants to bash heads with his fists.  Grin

And BJJ in MMA is different as you have to watch out for strikes and take downs, same as how boxing is different in MMA.  That's why I don't think Nate Diaz's 'boxing' will be very effective against Jake Paul.

Anyway, KKF and Albazi's lines are closing in.  It's essentially a coin flip now.

The race just got a looot more interesting.  Lmao!

And I don't think I'll win my fastest lap bet now.  :/  With just around 18 laps to go, I don't think the track will dry up to give a chance for either Red Bull cars to snag it away from Hamilton.

Edit:  If the race stops now then both Mercedes cars would've finished fourth and fifth.  Decent job imho.

Dammit...  I forgot to change my grid line up.  :/  Oh well...

Anyway, I still have my fastest lap bet but to keep me entertained for the race.  For 1.90 if either RBR car gets the fastest lap, I win the bet.  Perez has the fastest lap so far.  He'll prolly keep pushing it and try to climb up somehow.  But I don't think he'll get a points finish.

Another thing that could keep everybody entertained is Formula Dank.

^  Yup.  It has to go down at some point...  And it's a good thing.  There's a lot more money in the sidelines waiting to go in but hasn't had the right conditions to dive in yet.

Like what I said in a post prior, could go down around 24k - 25k, even deviate lower to 23k, before break out above 31k.

Something like this.  Forgive my squiggly line, I suck at this...  Lol.

1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: May 27, 2023, 01:58:45 PM
^  Lol...  Tbqh, I really thought we'd see ARB pump to 10 bucks or something and go over DOGE and MATIC in market cap in a couple of weeks after airdrop.  But seems like the trade is too crowded preventing it from going up fast.  This usually happens when market is in pvp mode with traders trying to get the better of each other from both directions.

And the dev team selling some tokens shenanigans didn't help.  There's always something sketchy going on with these things.  :/
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 27, 2023, 01:50:53 PM
From that fight I have a feeling that Dustin Poirier will win the fight and get the title.
After all, Poirier is a pretty great and brutal fighter so he doesn't hesitate to attack his opponent until he is injured.
I will prepare a sum of money to bet on Poirier's victory.

I would say that both have equal chances to win. Both prefer striking and brawl over tactics and ground game of chess. Both lost have losses against champs (Oliveira and Khabib) and have victories against top fighter (Chandler). On paper, Gaethji recent fights looks better. A victory over Fiziev I value more than a victory over McGregor via doctors stoppage in first round. Last years Fiziev is more dangerous than McGregor. Gaethji is famous for kicks, Poirier is better at boxing. The one who has higher pain threshold wins that fight.

Imho Gaethji looks more motivated to win. After two losses by submission, Poirier has lost that sparkle in his eyes. Does not matter if he has black BJJ belt, he does not know how to defend from bjj and wrestling attacks. And after a lost to Khabib he was like a cry baby, because he does not know how to beat wrestling/bjj guys.

If you say that there are opportunities, maybe both of them have the same opportunities, but there will still be their respective advantages that can differentiate them.
But Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje fought in 2018 and Dustin Poirier managed to finish the fight by TKO.
Maybe it was because of that defeat that was one of the reasons Gaethje challenged Poirier to fight and at the same time to fight for the BMF title.
Even though lately Poirier hasn't been fighting very well but with the fight for the belt I'm sure he can fight very well after all this is also proof that Poirier is better than Gaethje.

Wdym?  Poirier has lost only vs Oliveira in his last 5 matches who's beast in his own right.  I think both these guys just wants one more shot at the title at 155 then retire.  Poirier fought McGregor twice and won.  He made enough money off of him there.  Gaethje on the other hand could be the hungrier guy here.  So this time around I think I'll have Gaethje.  But the lines are kinda close with Gaethje the slight underdog at 2.05 atm...  Hopefully the line moves and gives a tad more value for Gaethje.

Another thing is I think Poirier will retire if he loses...  Just a hunch.

^  And it shows that it's def a really good sign that no ASIC maker has figured out RandomX yet.  Wink  I'd be more worried if the hash rate suddenly goes up at a fast pace tbh.

As for the chart, I've been starting to look at XMR against BTC as the base currency more and more.  The chart just looks smoother than if paired against USD.

It's been ranging since 2020...  Watch out if it breaks out above .009 - .0092 resistance.

1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 26, 2023, 12:30:49 PM

Source: Transfermarkt

Several rumors have received updates regarding players and teams that will be the goal of joining. From some of these player names, maybe I have just heard rumors about Real Madrid being interested in bringing in Robertson from Liverpool and Savic who will head to Milan. The rest are rumors that several players have had new competitors to sign their contracts, such as Declan Rice, who was previously rumored to be Arsenal and now Arsenal have a new competitor, namely Bayern Munich. Then there is also Gundogan, who was previously rumored to go to Barcelona, but now Arsenal are also competing to get him. Looks like it will be an interesting chapter for the transfer market next summer.

Wtf...  Gundogan to Arsenal and just for 25m EURO?  I mean that's some good value for what he could contribute for the Gunners imho.  But at 32 years old they could prolly haggle to make the price tag a bit lower.  He prolly just has three good years left in him.

And what shirt is Savic wearing?  That's from Lazio right?  I like the Binance sponsor.  Grin

I think Neves to Barca at 40m EURO is good value too.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: May 26, 2023, 12:21:34 PM
Been thinking about this match up...  I'm not sure why a lot of guys think 'Diaz's boxing' is good enough to beat Jake Paul as MMA doesn't really have 'boxing' per se.  It has striking.  And at best, Diaz is not one of the best strikers but prolly a tad over above average and that's being generous.

If that is so, this is his chance to show the world how he will perform in a boxing match and it's also his chance to promote himself in his next fight and I'm sure he got a huge amount of money to accept this offer and it would be best to see how he will be against Jake Paul. Since we all know he is not that scary and I think Nate can easily beat him if there is no syndicate happening behind the curtain for this fight because when you see in the terms of experience, Nate is more strong and skill fighter because he already fought a real battle against worthy opponents in the past.

Nah.  I don't Nate Diaz is interested to 'show the world' anything.  He sold out and just wants to get paid enough money to retire and take care of his family.  It's the same with Woodley, Askren and Anderson Silva.  :/  And here's what I'm thinking...  It's gonna be like his bout vs Masvidal for the BMF belt.  At the moment of adversity, he'll just give up, play weak and have the ref stop the fight.  I don't think the match will go past R5.  But that's just me...  If the under props and Paul via finish props have good value, I'll put a little action in them.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 25, 2023, 12:28:22 PM
Di Maria will leave Juventus at the end of the season.

Parades will leave too, and Rabiot will end his contract and he will probably leave too.

For some weird reason when you were asking who would replace Allegri at Juve the first name that popped in my head is Zidane.  No lines in the betting market for it tho.  But my gut feeling says yes.

And I also did a search what Neymar's next club would be.  And it looks like the favorite so far is Man United which makes Chelsea at 7 have value.

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/neymar/club-after-summer-transfer-window

I really think Chelsea is the more likely destination because as LFC_Bitcoin said, signing him would be for vanity which I think Chelsea direly needs atm after a bad season.

^  I did and I didn't really care.  Lmao.  I mean he was good for the UFC and is a character but let's face it...  He wasn't really a brilliant fighter.  Good to see him have his little streak before losing to Usman tho.

Anyway, you know the UFC is running out of ideas when they have a BMF fight and a match up between two fighters that no one wants to see fight right now.  Lol...  And I'm also hearing Jones vs Miocic is off?  :/
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: May 25, 2023, 12:06:20 PM

But if you really think about it Jake Paul has beaten one of MMA's best strikers...  Anderson Silva.  Couple that with the scar tissue and the low motivation, I don't think Diaz sees the whole 8 rounds.  All the value will be in the props once available as I think the books could be anticipating that it goes the distance.
