121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The space launchings aren't putting food on your table. on: January 03, 2016, 07:42:44 PM
I need to know what the point of spending thousands of US dollars on space trips is meant for. I don't know what we've accomplished and found beneficial to society and the overall growth of human living by having money and such being tossed for the government to send random men up into space. I don't understand why space travel is so necessary. Please tell me how the moon launchings weren't fake, or needed for the human race.

Many of the technologies developped for space (and by proxy the army) helps actually put food on the table, I can mention hundrends if not thousands of innovations that allows today to live confortably, but lets just take one example, telecommunications : satellites, radio technology....

The other thing is that earth ressources are limited, hence at some point we will be forced to get ressources outside of earth, not to mention. And it's not only about ressources but our survival as a species, who knows, tomorow we might be hit by a similar asteroid that finished the Dinosaurs off...

GMOs are forbiden in many countries, because there is a danger factor, as long as there aren't conclusive studies, that it is safe and not some bullshit studies financed by corporations that are selling GMOs then I suggest people to avoid GMOs, we already getting enough toxins from pesticides and so on ...

125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS is getting paranoid on: July 01, 2015, 02:21:54 AM
Is this true? Where do you get that information? I thought Israel battling ISIS and condemning all of ISIS barbaric moves and action.

Here:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/05/israeli-warplanes-strike-_0_n_3218627.html

The forces loyal to Assad were fighting the ISIS for many months in that region, and a stalemate was ongoing. However, the airstrikes by Israel allowed the ISIS to drive the government forces out of the region. It should be noted that the Israeli jets only attacked the Syrian army targets in the region, while sparing the ISIS installations.

Just posting this, but I don't know to what extend it is real

It's none of your business, people can live their lives as they want and the pursuit of happiness is different for all of us.

If it does not harm anyone else, who cares?

I'm ok with gays and homosexuals, people should lives their lives as they want as long as they don't do no harm to anyway else as you statz

But on the other hand I'm having issues with LGBT and FEMEN movements some of their actions are harmfull, and they should really tone it out a bit especially after getting what they asked for.
127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: July 01, 2015, 02:09:41 AM
I am here to just say one thing? Why do YOU hate islam? and you should really give a valid reason not a shitty one that says 'Because media'
and Yes, I am a muslim for those who ask, just tell me, come out of your shell and say why you HATE it, and I could be here to clarify things to you.
Also here is something that most people mistake about islam is that "Islam hates other religions" for this I say, Islam does not hate ANY religion, but it suggests to 'invite' them to islam, as slowly, and peacefully, even if they refuse, you can try and try, until it's their choice, you stop. and for all the wars that happened, it's because the other religions decided to come into war on Islam.

If you need anything clarified, I am here to answer you, don't be scared, I won't be offended by anyone, also haters, you can reply, I won't care Wink

A lot of country,a lot of people who are dying every day. Why ISIS kill people every day? How do you explain this? There are many reasons why people hate Islam, one of the biggest is ISIS . I 'm not sure that this is just politics. Isis does it all planned out, and nobody responsible for these acts. Worst of all is that your religion allows this, and they all work in the name of Allah . It's fascinating , and after wondering why people hate Islam?

Wait what? euh Islam doesn't allow killing, the only exception is self defense and death penalty by "Taer".

Maybe you don't know but the people that ISIS kills everyday are 99% Muslims.

A lot of ISIS recruits are not remotely muslims heck some of these Psychopaths don't even speak a work of arabic, but they come for the huge salaries (thousands of $ each months) and the free killing card
128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NSA conducting widespread economic and industrial espionage against France on: July 01, 2015, 02:06:58 AM
This old news. It made US headlines in 2012. And yeah, the US is spying every country they deem relevant to the global conversation on anything. That said, so is every other developed country (except maybe Canada.) It's not fair to point the finger at the US, the only difference between them and other major countries is that they got CAUGHT!

Have you ever listened to anyone else's conversation without them knowing about it? Maybe in the office, at school, at a restaurant, on the train? If so you're just as guilty of spying...cause that's really what's happening.

I believe the US and other country's should tell their citizens when and how they'll be spying on them, Snowden's release helped the US. Positive action (for the People) came about from it.

It sounds like you are just making excuses, comparing hearing a conversation while you are near by to some random people, and spending trillions of $ to spy and states and companies for own benefice is totally different, especially when it supposed to be a close ally.

You are going to trow at me the assumption that France is doing the same, well till there is a proof of such a thing, not to mention that France doesn't anything remotely close to the NSA being it in terms of size or budget (not like France cannot make anything as big if not bigger/better than the NSA, but there is no objective reasoning behind such a thing that would justify the costs.)

I not think they are paranoid because they were long. I can hardly understand why not kill each other.

They do from time to time, they just need to keep the numbers to fight against the "ENNEMY" which is anyone that doesn't share their barbaric believes
131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isis 'crucifies children for not fasting during Ramadan' in Syria on: June 29, 2015, 04:39:03 PM
What are they "actually" "aiming" by doing all these crazy worse things?

What do terrorists normally aim for by doing terrorism and murder? To spread fear and promote their political goals. Their goals being an extreme form of fundamental Islam. Isis go to extreme lengths of brutalism and that's how they get the media hits and their terrorism spread around the world for them and for free.

What they are doing is not Islamic. So... I asked.

It's not Islamic in your opinion but it is in theirs. You can interpret the Qur'an and most other religious texts to suit your own agenda and that's what they do. I can find plenty of quotes from the Abrahamic religions that sanction murder etc but these books belong in the past and have no place in modern society.

While I agree with you with the part that the Quran is being interpreted in a way to serve their agenda, I disagree with the rest.

As someone who read and took time to read and understand 3 of the holy books, I'll try to simplify things and show you where the confusion comes from and how these people in doctrine other people

The Quran is split in two main part, Madani and Maqi, One part is mainly about how Islam works, how you should treat others (familly and outsiders), treat animals the environement... and how to be a good muslim in general (no killing, no theft, respect your parents especially your mothers, your wifes how to treat your children, never be offensive or insults others......), and the other part is about the fight back and defend once self against the infidels that been trying and chasing Mohamed all the time from Mecca and to Medine and what's not and when your read this part you see that you cannot take anything out of context, for example you have Sourate that explains how you should be firm against the enemy fight till the end and a few verse later it tells forbids you from killing anyone who surrendered to never kill women and children to threat prisoners well and so on and so forth.

The context is clear, yet, to serve once agenda it is brought out of context, not to mention that the Quran is written in 7 century arabic which is more complex than the simplified arabic used nowadays, which means that for someone to claim explaining the Quran they need to have advanced studies being it in language but also in historic events and what's not, yet ISIS people have none of those, in fact many of them doesn't even speak Arabic......

Probably to create more extremists and nurture the hate in them

Greetings and Salutations,

I've been doing quite a bit of reading, and have decided to give bitcoin mining a shot. Primarily as a way to put my computer to work when I'm away, and make me some money. Yes, I am aware that its not the greatest, most efficient way of bitcoin mining, I just dont have the cash to spare on a dedicated rig. Anyway, with all my reading I've gotten a little confused and bamboozled, the only thing I know for sure is that I need mining software, I'm starting with easy miner, and a bitcoin wallet, starting with multibitHD. I'm new to bitcoin, but not computers, and would greatly appreciate some help with starting this process with definite information, and I would prefer a video to a wall of text, if possible.

EDIT: " it was possible to mine with your computer CPU or high speed video processor card. Today that's no longer possible. " - bitcoinmining.com, Sorry answered my own question

mining bitcoin is a no as you've found out even with dedicated ASIC hardware is not what I can call viable nowadays as bitcoin mining is quickly moving on to centralized mining, but if you have free electricity, what you can mine is alternative currencies with your PC, for example with your CPU you can mine something like Monero, ect

70k claims are just ridiculous, I think these nanodegrees can work as a complimentary knowledge to help with you get a decent CV, some companies looks for specific skill (example a software ) and knowing how to use that can make a difference during your interview

136  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Illegal Migrant Crisis in Mediterraean on: June 20, 2015, 02:00:00 PM
If these people have been granted political asylum then they should be distributed across the EU.
Anyone who has been to Italian cities recently will have noticed large groups of African men drifting through the street with no source of income other than street selling. It is cruel to these people and even more so to Europeans because it fuels the far-right and threatens the integration of our continent.

I really agree with you and I'm sad that France suspended the Schengen treaty because all of us can talk about free circulation of goods and people in Europe when there aren't problems, but when we have to face an emergency (Migrant crisis) all the countries think for themselves. So we are an united Europe or not? Are we able to face this bad problem together? I think the only solution is to put army at borders and reject them in their country if no one collaborates.

The Schengen Area was designed for skilled and smart West-European workers. Bulgaria and Romania are not in it very precisely because their people have less skills (and are less smart) than their western neighbors. So African migrants have no rights to get in. That has never been the plan.

I'm sorry but this is wrong, The Schengen area was designed to allow the free movement of goods and people without any restraint, and to push further for an integrated EU.
137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 20, 2015, 01:50:15 PM
”Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.” -- Ben Franklin

If you, as a person, give up your freedoms (like the right to carry a gun) and hand them over to someone else in exchange for protection, you are acknowledging a few things:

1) You acknowledge that someone(s) are more capable of protecting you than yourself.

2) You acknowledge that that you are content with being at the mercy of the decisions of those to whom you have conceded your freedoms.

3) You acknowledge that the extent to which you continue to have liberties is determined by those to whom you gave up your others.

So, here's the question of the day:  If you believe you are not best suited to handle the security of yourself, then how can conclude that sacrificing liberties for security was the best idea to begin with?

Rights should stop when other people rights are jeopardized, Guns are tools made to kill, giving people the liberty to own a gun just like that is irresponsible and it doesn't just put the owner the danger but everyone around, and as proven with the best above, guns ownership by any individual have the opposite effects.

You didn't really answer my question, but I expected nothing less. Gun control pushers often consider that their opinions are just a matter of fact, it is a pattern that is quite common. There has already been debate in this thread about gun violence vs overall crime. You linked a bunch of articles, not studies. The articles backed by studies use statistics about "gun deaths" which include suicides, self defensive uses of guns, and police use of guns. These statistics are paraded about as if they represent the gun MURDER rate, which is completely disingenuous.

Yes, the US has more gun deaths because there are more guns available, but it ALSO has a lower overall crime rate, including violent crime. Additionally jurisdictions with high gun ownership have less crime. You will also find that the jurisdictions that have the most gun deaths are the ones with the most restrictive gun laws. So in short, no you haven't proven anything or changed my opinion. BTW do you even live in the US? I find it funny that people in other countries are so concerned about the safety of US citizens while most US citizens are pro gun rights. I wonder why that is. You would think if guns were responsible for all of this Americans would reject them.

Obviously you didn't even read any of the articles, maybe you should reread and check the data, statistics and studies that they are written upon and based on. So yes I've answered your question on point, on the other hand, you are the one here just stating your opinion without backing your claims.

So first of all lets discuss the data and statistics from the articles I posted (which are NOT opinions if you can't see the difference), in regards to what I mentioned in my initial posts and lets check if the only confirms what I said or not, instead of dodging.
138  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 20, 2015, 01:32:17 PM

And based on what data do you make these conclusions? What makes you think "asking for the removal of such gun from other persons" will some how stop violent crime? Last I checked most criminals do not react well to a polite request to not victimize people.

Mars One is going no where.

The group of people working on the has no experience with space no technological expertise..... I can go on but I'm seriously Mars is more of a dream becoming more of scam day by day, the initial project was to make a decent study, and built up a requirement book with technological ideas that would lower the costs, a project that can be used or built with a major or majors space agencies such as NASA or ESA ....
140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 20, 2015, 12:54:39 PM
Short answer : not working.

To be honest making guns available is the worst mistake there is to be done, it makes crimes more extreme, people and police reactions and acts more extreme and deaths more likely to happen. And what makes matter is the mentality of thinking that if anyone can access to a gun then I need a gun myself to defend my self, making even more guns that are easily available .... rather than plainly asking for the removal of such gun from other persons.
