121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: QA with Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn [video] - London - April 16 2015 on: May 12, 2015, 11:29:57 AM
Block Size mentioned and almost hinted at during this talk...
he already forked it to the 20 mb limit according to some sources.
Guess it's time for the community to push back and not run his new code.
Why would you do that? Are we really going to go throught this? How would anyone benefit from staying at 1MB block? whats the point beside being stubborn cunt about it? let's just move on, 20MB is objectively better than 1 for god's sake.
The only cunt here is you and Gavin , Put the code back like it was originally and quit playing with block size.

donate 10% to me and I'll donate 1% back  Roll Eyes
easier for the whales to donate than us small fries. 1% of nothing is nothing
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bigger blocks coming in release 0.11 on: May 04, 2015, 05:21:15 PM
except the size was already ok before gavin changed it once already, now it's being changed again and will need to be again down the road instead of allowing the network to decide (miners) he's taken it upon himself to set hardcoded limits where there was none originally.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Teleport/Telepathy/Ramchains/SuperNET Core on: May 04, 2015, 02:18:41 PM
now is the time to get this fire going hotter. With the gavincoin being implemented next year I see this getting a lot of wind in its sails.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin is an Agent on: May 04, 2015, 02:17:37 PM
Gaving is a core developer, and i doubt he even cares about the coming halving, or the bitcoin price.
It is his job to make bitcoin cope with future requirements, and i doubt we all even understand just how much he delivered.
TBF was/is a joke, but thats something else, im talking about Gavin alone now.
I vote to fire him
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin is an Agent on: May 04, 2015, 02:08:52 PM
The issue with let the network decide is most ppl don't read.
The "official" website only has to show his new client as the official client and they basically force
the network consensus. At the very least I'm sure they will push it as the way forward with no other
addendums or links to debate.
I for one will run a node 24/7/365 on the old software as my vote.
Hoping one of the alts will gain more traction that acts more like cash than bitcoin.

128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: My mommy bought me an education, am I smart now? on: May 04, 2015, 10:47:14 AM
This is our future.  Their mommies told them they're smart and we have to deal with the repercussions of 'educated' idiots making the decisions.

isn't that the truth, mommy told them they were special and could do no wrong and now look at the mess.
Bunch of absorbed self-entitled dumasses who can't think for themselves.
129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 70 years after the Victory: Lest We Forget (despite every effort to do so) on: May 04, 2015, 12:35:16 AM
Facts? you speak of facts but you keep twisting them.
Poland was a sovereign nation before WWII, what is there is to debate about this?
This is truth, nothing is being twisted. I'm sorry you failed history or was given a revisionist view of it.
But you keep up with the USSr propaganda BS I'm done with stupid.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ANONDOLLAR | Masternodes | ANON | SHA256 on: May 03, 2015, 11:15:30 AM
SHA256 again...
same person who is releasing all the sha256 clones. All use pos as well.
It might be time for the forum to start tracking the IP's of the devs and if a dev has more than 2 coin projects, they can't post in ANN anymore.

why? if u don't like it, just ignore it  Wink
I do but it won't stop me from calling them out either.
Just more spam cluttering the fucking forum.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Do It! on: May 03, 2015, 11:08:48 AM
ok lets take advice from a new user with less than a 100 posts.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Woman Asks 100 Men For Sex, But How Many Said Yes? on: May 03, 2015, 11:06:31 AM
the men who said no were probably afraid it was a prostitution sting.
I know it would ring my skepticism alarm.

Stings don't work like that. It would be entrapment.
yea ok, you obviously haven't seen how the law actually works in the real world.
in the meantime, you shell out a few grand to a lawyer to argue that and get off the hook.
All while you have an arrest record even if the charges were dismissed/dropped.

Polish authorities are going too far in their boot-licking.

As we all know, the only 3 countries that opposed the recent UN resolution against glorification of Nazism are USA, Canada and Ukraine.

Poland didn't have anything against, when fully-armed US troops waltzed over their country.

However, they blocked the Russian bikers, civilians, on their motor-cross "The Roads of Victory", commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany. Not only Polish authorities grill the bikers and journalists - all having valid Schengen visas - for 6 hours at the border, they failed to give any plausible reason for the refusal to enter the country. The bikers were intimidated with fully-armed special police detachments. Polish ambassador received from the Russian Foreign Ministry a note of protest with a request to give formal explanation of blocking the commemorative action, calling a total refusal to remember the Auschwitz.

Not only that, but the Polish authorities put a military cordon with armoured vehicles around a memorial cemetery, prohibiting Polish bikers, who took up the cross, from entering it and laying flowers to the graves of the Soviet soldiers, who 70 years ago paid with their lives for liberation of Poland. Polish authorities have thus used military against democratic right of their own Polish citizens.

(1) Stalin and Hitler agreed to split the country in half. (2) I wouldn't say they were liberated at all. (3) They were only "liberated" from one oppressive regime to another.
A little ridiculous though.

1. Wrong perception of the event. I'll repeat, what I wrote earlier:
That non-aggression pact was a brilliant tactical feat that postponed an imminent attack of Germany on the Soviet Union at a time when USSR was fighting with Germany's ally - Japan - in Mongolia. At that time USSR could ill afford fighting on two fronts, and would have surely lost. If not for that pact, Europe and Russia would be speaking German now, and China and the rest of Asia - Japanese. Always look at a a bigger picture.

2. You are mixing up liberation of Poland and the prior strategic move designed so as not to lose the war before it even started. Read the following two articles:
http://stanislavs.org/the-sorrow-of-a-warsaw-woman-why-poland-is-not-happy-to-be-liberated-from-fascism/
http://stanislavs.org/ungrateful-europe-what-would-have-happened-should-we-push-hitler-back-just-to-our-borders/

3. An "oppressive regime" that gave Poland large landmasses, treated Poland as a nation, infused Polish economy with Soviet funds, workforce and engineers (at a detriment to the Soviet Union/Russia). See the two articles above.

that's your "perception". I'm not mixing anything up. Poland was free and not part of either nazi germany or ussr.
So they were not liberated and I stand by that statement.

where is the jew option? ah I see it now; didn't comprehend the net speak option in the poll.

-snip-
yep you're part of the problem too, holding the crybabies hands.
Keep coddling the stupid's it will only increase them.

I applaud your darwinism I should probably make a note somewhere to make sure I dont help you accidentally. Education and help are never part of the problem, they are always part of the solution. Holding someones hands is perfectly fine while they are still growing. Not letting them make mistakes in the first place is a problem. If you cant see the difference Im not going to teach it to you. OP certainly learned a few valuable lessons and not only about IT systems and how to keep them secure. Wether or not the data was lost in the process is irrelevant for the lessons learned.

Even in the event that OP had been a troll answering in a constructive manner can still be helpful for someone else silently reading.
Best thing that could happen to this world is stupid fucks like him and you die off.
Keep holding the stupids hands and they won't ever learn.
Show them google and how to read
give a man money they eat for a day, make the person work, they eat for a lifetime.
Trust me, I know how to use the internet and wouldn't be here asking for help.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NKT] NAKAMOTODARK [UNIQUE BITTREX QT5WEBKIT IN-WALLET TRADING+WIKIPEDIA][NKT] on: May 01, 2015, 05:32:37 AM
I've been thinking about the brand. NakamotoDark is ok as it connects to Nakamoto and all, and this is after all initially a tribute coin. I now see it as a tribute coin not only to Nakamoto himself but to the concept of crypto in general.

We've all sort of organically started to call them Nakas... so I'd like to put forth the suggestion of, at some future point, perhaps rebranding to Nakas or Naka, which is shorter, sweeter, more memorable and still has the roots of the original tribute.

I'm not sure the ticker symbol should change, but perhaps NKA would be more appropriate than NKT.

Anyone got thoughts on the matter?

I Think Naka is cooler it's that NakamotoDark is way to long and for mainstream  dark doesn't sound too positive:)
Like if this where a coin used by Silkroad of underground people i would understand the Dark addition but now not.

NKA all the way:)

dark was just a buzzword, I have seen absolutely no dark in this coin yet.
Metakid great, turn it around. But I think you need to take the blinders off. It's too late it lost the momentum.
Most new shitcoins are getting the ninja no instamine launch.
The scammers caught on and are adapting. You can call it bashing, I call it like I see it.
If you think its bashing than it probably is and the truth never was gentle.

Meta  You talk a good buzzword game.
