121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Comparison of Bitcoin price fluctuations with other coins. on: February 24, 2022, 11:41:09 PM
Yes, that’s a normal thing. But it is not all the coins that has a price relationship with Bitcoin, a lot of them can be entirely on a different route. You just say this because you have only been looking at coins like Ethereum, Stellar, and the rest of them that has a close price relationship with Bitcoin. If you’re looking at all the coins in the market, you will see that it is not all of them that would usually increase in value when Bitcoin does, so they are different.

Bitcoin might be going up, and these you’d notice that these coins will mostly be stable or losing their value as investors moves over to the bullish ones . When Bitcoin becomes bearish or stable, these coins will start doing better.

You are right with that. I have seen a lot of alts that are not following the path of bitcoin. And you know what, most of them are those pump and dump coins.  Grin Because the movement of their market depends on the team itself or investors of their project. So they don't care what's going on with bitcoin, as long as they are getting their goal of pocketing as much money as they can. But for most established alts like ETH, LTC and other top 10-20 coins, you will observe that their trend behavior follows btc movement.

123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Limit Buy Filled but Cryptocurrency didn't go that low? on: February 24, 2022, 07:57:25 PM
This should not be a problem for you. To see the low or high of the coin you are buying or selling you can do check that from CMC. CMC has that feature there, what you need is to search out the coin and you scroll down to find different features and details that you want to see. Except you are looking at exchange particularly but I don't think it will update history of your order when you have ongoing order.

Looking at CMC is not precise if you are looking at specific exchange. This is why users above already suggested to look the high and low in the exchange that he is using, which I very well agree. Because looking at CMC may have a little bit of deviation from the actual low of the exchange. And I think the OP already got the idea where to look at. Just checking the 24h high or low in the exchange itself will give you the idea about the lowest and highest points for the exchange.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ArielCoin: strong quantum-resistant security on: February 22, 2022, 10:42:03 PM
That's long years of research before you deploy this project. Are you going to disclose the team members of the project? Just want to know the background of the team members if this platform can indeed address the possible impact of quantum technology.
125  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Gate.Io exchange advertising on Google on: February 22, 2022, 08:38:13 PM
Yeh, i have bookmarked the sites of the exchanges where i trade and never search them through google as there is always a chance to land on the phishing site. Though its easy to identify the fake site via URL but sometimes we not pay attention to the details.

Also, its shame on google ads too as this ad network can promote anything for the sake of money. Sad

These phishing websites are created by scammers to target new crypto users, as they can be easily trapped as they are not very experienced about such scams. Currently, companies like Google and Facebook are the biggest tool for scammers to scam people. Because the scammers using the ads of these companies are rapidly reaching a large number of people, which is really very dangerous. Google should check the ads carefully before approving this type of phishing ads.

We need to report this site as phishing website in google - https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en. The more who will report this site, the higher chance that google will shut this down. Already reported this also. And upon checking the site now, it is showing dangerous already. So it seems, some people already reported this as fake/phishing website which is good. Because if it is red all over, I don't think you will continue to check the site.

126  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: February 21, 2022, 11:44:38 PM
all humans would be happy if they had a lot of money, but it would be nice if they bought bitcoin or crypto so that future happiness will exceed current expectations.
People do get the opportunity to work and serve plenty money during their service, and after which the money will not be valuable and understandable, but assuming the money was put to bitcoin to be invest for long term period it would have yields good instead of giving or spending the money on necessarily
We are all hoping for a life on having that financial freedom on which we dont really have any problems on buying out something that we do like or invest into something which wont really be problem since you are

financially capable on doing so but doesnt mean that everything in life could be bought by money which is true but the fact that you are living on the world which do needs up money for you to sustain those needs

plus having those wants which would cause that happiness thats why i couldnt really blame out most of people would be saying that its been part of it.

If we want to achieve such financial freedom, then we should work on it and not just dreamed about it. One way, is not to buy luxury items if you are not capable of. Just stay on your limits and as much as possible, invest on tangible things for your future use like real-estate properties. So in time, you don't have to pay for that monthly rent, instead you will enjoy your retirement at your own home. Happiness is a state of mind depending on what you perceive things around you. If you are contented on what you have, you can also experience that peace and happiness for yourself.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: February 21, 2022, 11:15:50 PM

Have it in your mind that bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency, and you don't expect your offspring to suddenly dumped because of little advantage to overshadow your circle and potentials in the society. No matter what advantage Ethereum has, keep this to yourself that Bitcoin is still the head in price and uses. Bitcoin is still moving the market in full force whereby every other token or crypto projects are following along.

On my end, just be thankful that we have bitcoin and ethereum today. They have different applications and crypto users are benefiting from their existence. Don't look for which one is better than the other. Let us embrace the fact that both networks are needed to advance the adoption of crypto. Bitcoin started it all, so we should not neglect its important role in crypto market.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 20, 2022, 11:56:03 PM
To some extent, I don't see your situation as doomed as you still gain at first but you allowed your quest for more profits to beclouded your sense of judgment and you went all in for the wring trading pair I will advise you always use small amount whenever you want to trade in an uncertain asset that way you can easily manage yours loses.

Sadly, some people are driven by greed and we all do at some point of our trading life. But we can always learn our lessons here. The OP should not give up in this market, one mistake will not define you as a trader. It will only give you reason to learn from your mistakes and come back strong. Many of us need to experience loss, before we wake to the reality of trading. Also, I am hoping that the OP is not just wanting some sympathy so people can donate to her.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ButKoin is decentralized secure cryptocurrency on: February 20, 2022, 11:43:19 PM
WoW.

That wallet ballooned in size!

It was only 34Mb now it is 143Mb?? What for?

As for not geting it to sync, I don't know why. Mine is.

The big question is, is it worth mining this coin? Will there be buyers for this seemingly dead coin? I would suggest not to waste your resources if you have no good feeling that you can sell what you mined. The exchange is not familiar one but maybe at least sell it 6 or 7 sats. Grab it while it has value.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey of a successful trader on: February 20, 2022, 11:22:32 PM
Having a financial background will surely accelerate trader passing first levels quickly, without basic understanding of financial terms I doubt user will be familiar in short term studies. Having a dedicated trading plan and keep applying your own trading rules on each single trade will make trader successful and profitable the long term. Demo trading isn't same as live trading with your own capital, emotions can affect your next trading decision, so stick to small bankroll rather than demo trading, IMO.
Have some experience in demo trading which i could really say that its a whole different kind of experience yet you couldnt able to enhance out your emotional aspects or psychology thing when you are doing demo.

This is why i had decided on starting up on small capital on which you could at least able to deal or engage with  the market with real funds and experience where it could really be helpful later on.

Trading journey doesnt talks about 1 or 2 days on which it would take years or long months before you could able to have a good grasp on it.

Demo is just for tutorial purposes on how to see the options on the site. This is why it is very different with actual experience. You are just allowing yourself to be comfortable on what to press and whatnot. But when it comes to actual trading, it won't teach you the strategies, you will be the one who will teach that yourself. A small fund is a good start to learn the basics.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best casinos that gives dividends to token holders? on: February 20, 2022, 11:06:40 PM
I think you have to do more research on what you are looking for here. I tried do some research for you, I found this thread they are  discussing about bonus, maybe you can check up yourself and know if you will find a link there that will help you to get your result. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5381232.0

That casino in the link is not very well known in the forum. So better invest in popular casinos like betfury rather than putting your funds to uncertainty. Also, casitsu is offering deposit bonus not dividends by holding their tokens. So far, betfury is the popular casino which is diligently distributing their daily dividends to their token holders. Others like LUT tokens, I don't think it is worth to hold onto.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DEXBERRY: A Cross-Chain Decentralized Mega-App (Patent pending) Presale! on: February 20, 2022, 09:48:19 PM
You have your sale in progress. Can you write about how much your platform is dependent and how much work is left for which you need funds? One of the most harsh question. What you will do if you dont get desired funds during sale?

Blackberry is out, dexberry is in.  Grin.

Your question is valid because if you are an investor, you should worry where your funds are going into. And their possibility of implementing their deliverables. If they can't collect sufficient funds, do they have their own funds to push thru the project?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would you Invest here if they fix these defects? on: February 20, 2022, 08:44:40 PM
hi guys , as a trader and investor and also a nature lover , i found this project which is going to protect bees and fight the extinction of bees. So since this is a new project um going to explain some defects of this project in crypto industry , then may be the team will decide to correct those things and comeback with a great project which is all of us may be able to invest our money..

It remains a mystery to me why this project needs a blockchain, if you can just create a charitable foundation with your own usav and goals. For me, such projects are like the usual collection of money from gullible bee lovers who will go to meet the needs of the organizers, not the bees.

I also have the same feeling. Most projects with a specific mission are only using the idea to attract gullible buyers. Just look at their site, very generic content and hosted by WordPress and anonymous team. If they are indeed sincere in protecting the bees, they will disclose their team members and their contact details like physical address so people can get in touch with them. I don't believe their mission here is true, just look at their site and you know what I am saying here.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what gives Bitcoin it value? on: February 20, 2022, 06:08:10 PM
There are almost 8 billion people in the world. Probably more than half of those people know about bitcoin. There are only 21m bitcoins, more than half of which have already been mined. A lot of bitcoins are lost forever in the early days. Considering that there can never be more than 21m and that bitcoin's popularity grows every year one can conclude that bitcoin's value is in its deficit. I haven't even mentioned its usefulness yet.

That simple analogy alone will give you good insight that bitcoin's demand will increase over the years. And since the supply is fixed. We can say, we will see its price increasing in the coming years, though the up and down will still be there as part of its volatility aspect. With the supply and demand concept, we are seeing that possession of bitcoin has a very good chance in gaining its profit in the very near future.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The digital perfection of Bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 11:38:09 PM
What I understand from your write-up is that you love Bitcoin and you will like to use it for your everyday transactions but you don't think it's possible due to the delay in confirmation time, so you would like to see this improved upon after which you can now see Bitcoin as perfect for your daily usage.
I'll say wait for it, Bitcoin is not constant as developers are always thinking of ways to make it better.

Confirmation time and fees are the top reasons why most people are hesitant to use bitcoin in their transactions. Aside from that, many are still looking at bitcoin as a very good investment asset that will possibly give them good profits. This is why most holders are just holding it and not using it for everyday purchases. No technology is perfect anyway. Bitcoin has some shortcomings but we already gone a long way just by looking the price level in the market compared to even 5 years ago.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IXA - INFOXIA Group Token on: February 19, 2022, 09:34:42 PM
Dear Community, the first INFOXIA dividend payment (in BUSD stablecoin) will be on February 25, 2022.

Dividends will be paid to wallets with a balance of more than 4,999 IXA tokens! Let's get hurry up to buy IXA!

Are you going to disclose how much profits have you attained to distribute the dividends to your holders? This thread is dull, so are there enough holders that are on board to this project? Curious how things will pan out on this project because it is quite silent here.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I convinced a Stock Trader to Invest in Bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 11:31:31 PM
After listening to some opportunities about the crypto market, he started to show interest. But one question he asked that why anyone invest in something that does not have an actual existence?

He must be an old traditionalist because people are investing in things that don't exist every day.

Most of the gold you invest in doesn't exist or exists only on paper.
People buy expensive domains for millions of USD, but they're only numbers on a server.
People put money in companies that never even made anything like Theranos and Nicola. You can say those two are scams, but what makes you think any startup isn't? You wire money and hope to see results. Sometimes there are some, sometimes not. Bitcoin has been showing results for the last 11 years, so I'm in.

It is not hard to look at the numbers here. If you show the bitcoin chart throughout the years, anyone I believe, will be attracted to this market. Because, let us take for example looking at the whole picture of btc market. Got it from coindesk - https://www.coindesk.com/price/bitcoin/, you can see the rise of its value in the past decade.

So a stock trader won't be hard to convince because he is already aware of this kind of movement. And they love volatility because that's where they can get good profits once they know the market.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank and it ignorance on Bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 09:29:56 PM
Very accurate and on point @milewilda The central bank and its political actors which are the government is working hand in hand and if the central bank kick against any financial asset the government automatically follows in the same direction too, I know the war against Bitcoin adoption may persist for long but we are going to witness mainstream adoption in the future were Bitcoin become a global currency.

For one, Central Bank along with the government don't want a decentralized currency, where they have no full grasp about its circulation. And that is why most Central Banks around the world won't favor bitcoin as their main currency. They will stick to their local fiat as it is also their national identity to begin with. I believe, we should not aim to make bitcoin as the main currency but just increase its adoption in the global stage is more than enough for btc market.
139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: February 17, 2022, 11:31:32 PM
The bear market serves as the best time for more people to get hold of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency at a cheaper rate. While the bull market is a way to reward people who held through the bearish time either by hodl or buying the dip. So, the both terms helps the market and without these two phenomenon the cryptocurrency market will not circulate properly. The image is self explanatory and people should learn through such phrases that makes it easier for people to understand how the market works.

This is the reason why many people are attracted with this market. The possibility of earning profits is always there if you know how to strategize in this market. It is on your own hands how you will take advantage of this market. But for other people who got screwed with their investments, they will spread fud and lies, and so some people are afraid to get into this market owed to this misconception from others.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Why many USA senator against bitcoin? on: February 17, 2022, 10:04:20 PM
Of course, if bitcoin will be widely accepted, it will reduce the influence of the dollar which is the most powerful currency in the world. Senators are representative of a country, their job is to support the state and its interest, so it's normal to see that they will hate something that would destroy their interest.
If they will accept bitcoin and along with that they also digitalize their dollar then it will have a good impact on their economy and they will not face any harm fro that adoption but their dollar will also get a value in the crypto market.
But US senators are mostly against bitcoin so we cannot expect that they will accept bitcoin as a currency because if that happens, it will bring threat to their own official currency. And to think that the state constitution does not allow other currency other than its official currency to act as a medium of exchange, so maybe that's one of the reasons why most of the senators are very firm on their decision against bitcoin.

We can't expect them to easily like bitcoin because even if they have their own researchers, most of them still have no good grasp on what bitcoin really is. Do you think if they experience using btc as payment method to merchant or shop, they won't like bitcoin if the fees are low and the transaction is fast? We can't aim btc to replace USD because that's not gonna happen. But if they will accept btc as one of the payment methods, that would be great. So in my opinion, they just need to experience how btc works in order to change their stance towards btc.
