It's taking a bit longer for @lightlord to process the pays, this batch seems a bit longer than the usual 6 weeks delay, I don't know the highest weeks delay in payment but it seems that this is the highest number being 8 going 9, hope that the bonus for the next pay is a bit generous than the usual  Grin.

~~~
For the government, it makes sense. Given the inflated healthcare costs in the United States, it is better to give out $100 to those who vaccinate, rather than spending $200,000 or $300,000 on someone who gets admitted to the ICU as a result of COVID. For the alcoholics and junkies, this amount is enough to fund a week of their habit. Don't think that anyone else will bother about it in the United States. But this amount is like the average monthly salary where I live. Here if there is such an offer from the government, then you will find half the population queued up outside the vaccination center.
You talking normally about how exorbitant the prices are for healthcare in the US makes me so sad because they really make it a business and not a hospital that cares indiscriminately. Well, the amount is relative, in your country it's bigger since there's a rate of exchange between dollar and your currency but in there, it's probably not a lot of money.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 28, 2021, 01:43:02 AM
Butler could probably make more money by stepping aside and allowing Casimero to fight Inoue. Inoue needs an opponent for the end of the year and it would be a shame if he couldn't fight a big name due to the sanctioning bodies getting in the way. Hopefully an agreement is reached and we will see a unification fight instead of the mandatory.
Who says that though? I mean if it's not official then shouldn't we bother too much? How can Butler make more money when he steps aside to give way to Inoue?
124  Other / Off-topic / Re: GGG will have a fight this year! (BOXING) on: September 28, 2021, 12:36:25 AM
I believe this match Ryota Murata will be a huge underdog here since he's not famous and less experience. Judging by his record, Ryota Murata is a hard worker person. He lose from Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam but the rematch he win, he also lose from Rob Brant but the next rematch he win, he's proving revenge is real.
No doubt IMO GGG will win in this match, if GGG's win... will there's a rematch and Ryota Murata repeat his history?
Then there's probably a pattern in this one, either he has to lock on the fighter first and experience their power to gauge it but it's not enough in 1 match so he goes back for a 2nd match to get revenge, pretty cool fighter if you ask me, Murata is like a revenant. Regarding the fight, it's not unlikely that the rematch might go in favor with Murata but it can still go the other way, it's not like his record is half losses and half wins due to rematch wins.
125  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-04] 70% of Salvadorans opposed to Bitcoin Law as Sep. 7 implementation on: September 27, 2021, 12:23:56 PM
The people,who are living in poor countries are usually closed minded and very skeptical about every new technology and innovation.They also don't trust their governments.
There's going to be slow learning process that will follow the BTC adoption in El Salvador.Nobody is expecting the vast majority of the population in El Salvador to embrace Bitcoin with arms wide open.
Not close minded but more like practical, remember that not everyone is like us who are privileged enough to invest in bitcoin, they got to look out for their daily needs first before investing or something like that, we can't blame them, they didn't chose to be born poor but if the government can extend some help, probably we might see more people getting in.
126  Other / Off-topic / Re: [2021-09-25]Critical Threat Found in Google Chrome, Again! on: September 27, 2021, 10:06:26 AM
But isn't it a good news that they've found it before it can be exploited by malicious parties, plus I don't see any good alternative for Google especially I use some of their extensions that's exclusive to them.
Complexity 0 - 16 Faze Clan
WTF?!   Shocked
WTF is the appropriate reaction, Complexity is a good team, a zero in a map is just unforgivable and at the same time disrespectful to the team that got zeroed, what a sweep.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No vaccine no entry Casino house! on: September 27, 2021, 05:47:59 AM
No heavy restrictions yet in my city but they're planning already to do that kind of thing and that's the right way to make sure that everyone gets vaccinated, those unwilling won't get isolated and at the same time will not cause mutation in infection because they're a carrier of the virus. I am liking this vaccination stuff because lots of perks when you're vaccinated.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: September 27, 2021, 04:46:57 AM
@Russlenat - right, the blue print has been laid out by Manny Pacquiao. So Filipino boxers can follow it to the tee. On the other hand, I believed that Pacquiao is destined to be one of the greatest that came from the Philippines after the Flash Elorde.
So it's dedication and a little of timing and of course the God given talent to really propel the next generation of boxers like Jonas Sultan to follow in the footsteps of Manny Pacquiao.
Even if the blueprint is laid out for them to follow to the tee, it's hard to replace the legacy that Pacquiao has left, and it's insurmountable for now given that there's no announcement of retirement yet for the People's Champ, they have to keep striving for this to happen.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet Responsibly Campaign on: September 27, 2021, 04:00:08 AM
A great program that can help every gamblers and not just those who are already addict in gambling, this can also give awareness to beginners about the possible risk of gambling. Some addict gamblers really don’t want to get expose, they just want to deal with this alone and I do hope that thru this program they can now have the courage to face their problems and ask for some help.
This campaign isn't enough to be honest, it's just an awareness campaign so it's not really that effective, I mean the addicted will stay addicted, and the people won't stop gambling even if they're aware, better if there's some real intervention like rehabilitation.
IIRC, in some of the states, not actually the whole USA that has put that incentive but in a few states. Although there's a $100 incentive for those that will take the vaccine all over the US, CMIIW.
And for the other states, like California, they've offered also a lottery for the vaccinated people and you can search for the rest of the states that did the same.
(https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/may/27/california-covid-19-vaccine-lottery)
Thanks for the reminder, so there's really some lotteries in some US states that did a free lottery for those vaccinated population, what I don't know is that they have 100 USD incentive if they vaccinated themselves.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Vaccination Lottery on: September 27, 2021, 12:42:27 AM
Was it Poland that did this after the USA? The governments are using everything that they can to incentivize and attract people to get vaccinated so that they can turn back to their old lives.
I think it was Poland although I am not sure on USA that they also have one, can't remember US having one but I am sure about Poland having one. This method of vaccination promotion is such a cheap but at the same time a brilliant idea given how it's attractive towards the population that's needing the vaccinations the most.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ultimate slot experience on: September 27, 2021, 12:08:26 AM
I have no direct experience with slots, but I think the game is pretty straightforward, if you include those online slot machine or the games installed on smartphones that resemble slots. It is purely a game of chance as I see it. I don't see anything big that would put it essentially on a spot where you will be able to win constantly. I think it is really your lucky day if you won in slots. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the game, I just don't see it at par with poker and black jack.
That's the definite truth but the only problem is that people still believe in the impossible and they still think that there's a way to make a consistent when it comes to playing slots when in reality there's really no way. It's not on par with those games because slots isn't winnable in a consistent manner like poker or blackjack.
134  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-11] India's upcoming cryptocurrency law seeks to balance stability and on: September 25, 2021, 02:38:10 PM
I don't hold on too much with this one, I think that this is just another ON in the on and off relationship of Indian government with bitcoin, pretty sure that we're going to see this law getting amended or changed, something like that.
135  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-21] U.S. to Target Crypto Ransomware Payments With Sanctions on: September 25, 2021, 10:24:00 AM
Sadly we are all going to be affected by this sanction, how do they define a potential chokepoint for the ransomware but exchanges and DEX. Are they planning to shut them all down?
I wouldn't be surprised if they will really shut down. It's very extreme that the seizing of the Binance server is almost foreseeable already once they determine the location.
How so? US isn't the whole world so I don't think that we will see it from ever affecting everyone and I don't think they will be able to shutdown any of them. What you're saying is a scary prospect for the future.
136  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-23] Twitter rolls out bitcoin tipping for iOS users via Lightning... on: September 25, 2021, 09:00:40 AM
That is fantastic.
Besides that, they're also using the Lightning Network which is definitely the best thing to do because it's going to make transactions much faster and at the same time make use of LN itself which is underrated because people don't want to use it.
137  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-24] UAE to allow crypto trading in Dubai free zone on: September 25, 2021, 07:38:07 AM
Atleast there is still some actual freedom for crypto users out there which is very commendable...In the midst of tough regulation coming from countries like China ( as always of course) at least we still have some financial freedom which shows there is still hope for us. I just wonder why certain countries want to suppress people's freedoms on their choice of how they choose to invest .
Expect more companies to establish base in the UAE after receiving this news.
Nah, this is just a season of FUD that yearly happens, no point worrying too much about it because at the end of the day, we will see that the patience that we put into the situation will eventually pay off.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: September 25, 2021, 06:38:17 AM
i think this will revolutionize the world or trading cryptocurrency, but unfortunately this type of transactions are easily tracked and can be a way of scamming people with it due to sms don't have security keys. but if they find a way to improve the security of this kinds of transactions then this will certainly be a game changer in the world of cryptocurrency
That's the point of this one, to be traced and probably make things much more difficult for potential scammers to use crypto as a means to use bitcoin for something really bad, the scammees that uses SMS though, there's a way to probably stop them from faking stuff that benefits them.
139  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-24] China Says All Crypto-Related Transactions Are Illegal on: September 25, 2021, 04:13:14 AM
China's loss will be the world's gain. It's only a matter of time before they realise their mistake & do a huge U-Turn.
They know what they're doing and they really don't care either way that will happen because they will definitely get back to it anytime they want if they see the merit of owning some bitcoins and at the same time the profit that it yields.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China trying its best to get hated on: September 25, 2021, 03:21:14 AM
To be fair, if you put your shoes in their perspective, that's not your goal in doing all this stuff, the stuff that they did are justified in their own selfish interests. Preventing terrorism by suppressing and putting the Muslim minority in concentration camps, harvesting organs of members of Falun Gong. It's easy to say we hate them until we become them.
