1061  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Covid-19 carrying the growth in digital currencies? on: June 07, 2021, 03:06:17 AM
This pandemic is just one part of it so I don't think that it is right to say that the pandemic is the only reason for the growth of cryptocurrencies. Maybe it did contribute big time since the lockdown to prevent the spread in the pandemic made people go online more ofthen than usual and they will probably encounter them on their online escapades.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to start a crypto project, gimme advice on: June 07, 2021, 02:15:57 AM
If you have the prototype, at the least, try it first to see if you can really solve the problem that you were trying to solve. You might want to look at LinkedIn for your human resources or you can ask your technologically inclined friends to create team with them. For money, you might want to do some grunt work yourself to fund your project and if you're lucky, your team might pitch in some money. The popularity will take the last priority, don't worry about it and just do the work needed.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: If Something is cheap you Buy it Buy the dips on: June 06, 2021, 02:12:22 AM
I am optimistic that the price of bitcoin will not be lower than that of the current moment, the range of 30K. Sometimes I have the feeling that we are reliving the experience of last year when the price of bitcoin fell to 3K. So that inadvertently the price of bitcoin was making its best run.
If so, we are at the best time to buy because bitcoin will continue to reach new ATHs.
Don't get your hopes up with this one, always expect that the worst could always happen, this kind of mental readiness is going to help you prevent panic when the worst ensues. Just always have some money on your side so you will be prepared to buy when the prices really did go lower.
1064  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 10 Year Bitcointalk Anniversary on: June 05, 2021, 04:20:55 PM
Thought I would be able to join the giveaway because that's a pretty awesome silver coin and I find that there was a lot of effort put into the engraving. Hey, congratulations on your celebration for a decade in this forum, more years or decades for you to come and hopefully, the next giveaway, I will be able to participate and hopefully win.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: June 05, 2021, 01:59:03 PM
A lot of money and a lot of knowledge and experience are some of the essentials to be successful in trading, without one, there's a possibility that it will take a long time before you can be successful as a trader but you don't have to fret over money, you can grow your capital overtime if you are really good.

Knowledge, patience and strategy is the essentials in trading. Knowledge alone is not enough to be a successful trader. You should apply your knowledge and through your experience, you can create your strategy, most importantly is don't be greedy.
You just copied my reply almost, strategy is under knowledge in my opinion. But I do agree that you shouldn't be greedy and just go and get what you can get and just be content.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 01:05:29 PM
I think you know the answer to that question deep in your heart and this forum is obviously biased for the right reason. Forex needs a lot of money plus it's really hard to predict the prices that only moves in 1 digit so it will be a no brainer that crypto trading is much better than forex trading.
1067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons for bad trading on: June 05, 2021, 11:29:32 AM
All in all, being unable to handle our emotions has a huge impact on our decisions. In trading, we have to set a certain target and focus on it. Sometimes, we're aiming for more that it even exceeds our target goal which results in losses and regrets in the end. We have to learn how to avoid putting too much emotions in that market's volatility but instead, we should manage how to deal with it.
I think that's the gist of it, I had the same experience too although I was able to take a grip of my emotion and prevented myself making a really bad investment and financial decision that my future self might strangle my past self to death. I think that emotions are a really big part of failing in trading next to being void of knowledge and experience.
1068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Issues. on: June 05, 2021, 09:58:11 AM
Don't be discouraged if you have to go ahead believing in bitcoin investing. If you can master the right business strategies you can make a profit no matter what the price volatility in the market so keep an eye on bitcoin without thinking of any issues this is the right time to hold and the market is likely to rise. The use of bitcoin as a digital currency is increasing in many countries.
Exactly, the more you worry, the more your judgment gets clouded on what you should do. As @Xinarae* said, you should learn how to make a positive out of any situation and how you can make money out of those situations.
1069  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Lionminingtbtc.online Fake Couldmining Project on: June 05, 2021, 09:12:29 AM
I did my due diligence and reported the website, hopefully these scammers haven't taken anyone's money yet. To every newbies out there, here is a PSA to you about Cloudmining, there's no such thing as Cloudmining isn't real, and any person who is trying to say that they are real are out for your money.
1070  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stole Token By Small Rabbit on: June 05, 2021, 07:00:31 AM
That's a pretty stupid of the distribution that that they let one slip through the cracks and now that person must've considered it his/her lucky day since they got a free money basically without any efforts. The person that's accused is probably going to not have any regret being flagged since the money has already been transferred.
1071  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] SHIBA INU fake airdrop website. on: June 05, 2021, 04:38:48 AM
What's with this Shiba Inu token? I always see them in my newsfeed in Facebook and I don't get the hype behind it, are they a shitcoin too? This fake giveaway websites are really making the most out of these new hype up coins, I hope that newbies will ask question before participating in this kind of stuff. Anyways, good catch OP.
1072  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Trust wallet stealing seed phrase. on: June 05, 2021, 04:00:43 AM
I don't get how people fall for this because there are warnings when you create your seed phrase that you can't share it to others. I did reported the website just for good measures, this kind of thing is what people should be wary of because besides looking legitimate, they are advertised on social media platform which makes them much more credible for newbies.
1073  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Walletauthority.io is a scam site on: June 05, 2021, 03:18:40 AM
You said someone sent you a PM

Why don't you share their profile link here so that we tag it? If they sent you a PM, that means they are doing the same to so many others. A warning could help.
I think that the PM came from other website so I don't think it will be that much help for the people in this forum, plus they might be able to change their profile so having their modus operandi being exposed in my opinion is enough for now.
1074  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sportsbet.io BIG SCAMM on: June 04, 2021, 09:06:41 AM
At the least make your lie a bit believable, you didn't even have any evidence to provide or you couldn't even fake an evidence to support your claim. I know that I am not the only one that's thinking about it but you sir/madam is probably just a competitor that tries to disgrace the name of the gambling site.
1075  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Cybercryptoinvest.com Ponzi Project on: June 04, 2021, 08:23:20 AM
Wow for a ponzi scheme this is so expensive. Imagine paying a product of 0.13btc for this crap? Damn Im rpetty sure no one would ever tried to invest in here unless they are too dumb to believe a 20% roi fix a month.

Ive seen some ponzi that looks legit before but in the end they still gonna run away and the one who invested last will suffer since they will get their money last. Thats how ponzi works who got first will earn big and whom got last or almost last one will be the loser.

Tips: dont ever try to invest on something like this. Thanks OP for the share.
If you are shooting for the moon, might as well go for the stars right? Pretty sure they want to risk being an expensive Ponzi to play mind games with the possible victim that they might be a legitimate investment scheme since they are asking for a lot of money. That's the move for some Ponzi, they try to accommodate the first investor and then when the going gets tough, that's when they run away. Nice catch OP and congratulations on ranking up as a Hero Member, that is a pipe dream for me but good for you that you have reached that point.
1076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I coded a bot that buys bitcoin every time Elon Musk tweets about bitcoin and op on: June 04, 2021, 07:35:56 AM
That's pretty impressive of you doing it alone because the high frequency trading industry takes a lot of team of developers to do this, they create a sort of web crawler that searches for keywords that will help decide their algorithm to do trades.
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin? on: June 04, 2021, 05:57:44 AM
I started trading by attending some lecture on bow to trade cryptocurrency. After this, I began to research on how to become a profitable trader by reading a lot of documents online and watching YouTube Video on strategies. It takes some time to get most of the things rightly (2 years of consistency), but I am a better trader now.
Congratulations on your becoming a profitable trader for 2 years, it does prove that learning and biding your time in trading is really worth doing because you will reap the benefits big time. My introduction to trading was simple, I just saw my friends do it and I talked to them about and they are eager to teach me and I am still a newbie but I haven't had any big losses so far.

1079  Other / Archival / Re: Is a demo account necessary for a beginner trader? on: June 04, 2021, 03:34:20 AM
I think a demo account is actually good for a beginner trader because as you have said, there's no major obstacle which means that a beginner can purposely make big mistakes and learn from it without the worry of having to lose a lot of money.

beginner traders need a demo account, because there we can minimize losses from studying there,
yes many still don't have this feature, look at Coinbase, Binance and even Bitfinex also don't have a demo account feature,
I hope Binance opens this feature so that beginners can also learn without a risk
That's what I said in my post, demo accounts help beginners. Demo account is basically a sandbox for beginners to make some experiments that will be pretty stupid in real trading to learn the mistakes. Also, it's not even minimized loss because there is no loss.
1080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: June 04, 2021, 02:45:47 AM
Bots if they are used correctly can help you trade conveniently because you will not be actively managing your funds since you are using a bot that automatically does the orders and stop loss, it looks easy but you have to know how to tweak so you can use the bot's full performance and to your liking.

In a bull market, all these trading bots almost always show a profit. But in the bull market, not only bots work with profit, but also beginners who have not yet gained enough knowledge about trading. The problems start when the market changes to bearish and because the bots can't trade short, they start working at a loss.
That's why I said that you should know how to tweak the bot or have some technical prowess to adjust the bot so no matter if come hell or high water the market is, you can still make money out of the bots that you are using.
