1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2022, 09:42:05 AM
Is signing Ronaldo the best thing Chelsea can do right now? Looking at how he ended up in Manchester United and how many people expected a lot from him, it appears as if he is not in the team, he will not be able to take them to the Champions League as many people expected, signing for Chelsea may give the same, though anything can happen, but Chelsea could have looked for a young aged player to buy instead of Ronaldo.
If they want to do it for the long term maybe Ronaldo can't fulfill that but for the term 1 or 2 seasons it still can and Ronaldo is a good choice.
But even though it's actually like that, I'm still not too sure whether they can bring Ronaldo or not in this case, even though Todd Boehly has prepared a lot of money, I'm not too sure that Ronaldo will go there.
If we talk about Cristiano Ronaldo not being able to take Manchester United to the Champions League, of course we have to see how Manchester United works as a whole. We cannot say that Ronaldo is not on par with a club with such team performance. It's very difficult for any player to do something extraordinary at Manchester United like last season.

I agree that Ronaldo is not the problem and can't be blame for what happened to Manchester United, for a player who played for #6 team he is on the top 3 scorers so I believe he did his best. But I also think that signing Ronaldo is not a wise choice for Chelsea, he is aged and too expensive for Chelsea, Ronaldo should be their last option.

Noticed Leicester City are not introducing any player this transfer window ? Anyone noticed ? What could be the reason ? Financial crises ?

Leicester City has debt of £267m, and I don't think they would buy any player until they sell some, their best sale should be Tielemans and he already got some offer, but nothing is settled so far. The manage Brendan Rogers already said that he want to make some refreshment, and he want sign 4 to 6 new players, so we should hear some rumors soon.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: July 06, 2022, 12:28:55 PM
1. Many altcoins will never reach their all time high again.
2. Don't be fooled by altcoin ranks on coinmarketcap because many won't stay in top 20 anymore after we go deep into this bear market.
3. History have proven that many altcoins will be replaced by new ones and that's where huge investors will be making most of their gains in next bull market.

1. Not for Ethereum and BNB, they will most likely hitting a new All-Time high when the crypto bull finally come, together with Bitcoin.
2. I don't think so, most the top 20 coimarketcap coin has proven that they can survive the current bear market that has happening since earlier this year.
3. The top altcoin has been quite the same for the last couple of years, and crypto hasn't been here for so long, so I don't get which history you are talking about.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY is Terra pumping ? on: July 06, 2022, 12:22:06 PM
Another price manipulation most likely, I don't know why people still believing in Terra after what happened. There is definitely something fishy with the founder of Terra on it's last fall, he most likely have something to do with the price fall. And his solution for the problem is making a new crypto, what a joke.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: July 06, 2022, 12:16:13 PM
None, and I think there is a very little possibility that a single coin in crypto investment can make anyone $1 Million. My biggest gain was ETH, 4 years ago when the price reach $1,000 and I earn more than $2,000 only from ETH, that was my biggest profit from Crypto, after that I never make more than few hundreds bug from a single coin.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 06, 2022, 12:09:47 PM
Any rumors about Neymar at the moment which team he belongs to? because if no team offers Neymar at this time, then Neymar is forced to stay at PSG for next season even though after that he will also be sold to another team. But on the other hand, the PSG team will still have a good performance if for example Neymar has to be sold to another team in this transfer window.

There are two main rumors for Neymar, this one said that Chelsea want him,
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-neymar-cristiano-ronaldo-transfer-27400240

And I think that's understandable that Chelsea want him, since they need new center forward. The alternative for Chelsea is of course De Ligt and some even says Ronaldo, but I think Neymar would be the most possible choice among this three, I don't think Ronaldo would want to play for other premiere club except MU, and Chelsea need to compete with Bayern Munich for De Ligt.

Other rumor say that new PSG manager Chris Galtier still want Neymar in his team.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 06, 2022, 11:59:41 AM
Newcastle seem like they have an interest to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Gordon both. However their main target now is Moussa Diaby. I understand why Diaby is their priority now of course because his performance last season was way better than the other two alternatives both. On the other hand Diaby has the biggest market value of 60 million euros also. As he still has three more years on his contract too it might be more difficult for them to sign him.

https://www.90min.com/posts/newcastle-united-ready-record-breaking-offer-for-moussa-diaby

I don't think Chelsea will easily release Hudson-Odoi since they haven't sign any news center forward, their option is very limited right now, even none. Looking at how Werner play last season, Chelsea would want alternative, and Hurson-Odoi could be one of them. At least until Chelsea complete signing a new center forward, releasing Hudson-Odoi is not a wise choice.
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading question on: July 05, 2022, 07:20:59 AM
Hi guys I'm trying to hard to know more about crypto trading but my friends are saying that trading stocks like NAS and GBP are better than crypto, Between Forex trading and crypto trading which one do you prefer the most and why?

I don't think either crypto or stock or forex is better than the other, they just have different method and nature. You will still need to fight the whale in all that platform, you will also find some price manipulation in all of them, And if you can do all of them why pick only one. Your friend said that maybe because he never learn what is crypto trading, and people tend to fear what they don't know.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 05, 2022, 07:16:37 AM
If you stake it on the right time it sure will be worth it, now for example, most of the crypto price is still low, so you expect the price to bounce at the end of your staking period. But if you only hoping to get some money from it's APY, you will more likely to lose some money.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DOGE go back to sub $0.01 prices ever again? on: July 05, 2022, 07:04:59 AM
It might be, but not in near future, or at least in the next 1-2 year. I think Doge just like most of the crypto today, their price still depend on Bitcoin's price, and for what I heard and knew, this bear market will not end soon, some even say bitcoin will not surpass $30,000 until next year. Therefore, Doge will not have significant price change either.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 05, 2022, 06:57:49 AM

I think there is another problem besides not being able to play for the champions league and that is the team not doing so well in spite of having good players in the team. And no player is going to go to a team that has not done well at all despite having some star players on the team.

The players that Manchester United are going for are obviously getting offers from other clubs as well. Honestly, it looks like it is better for a player who is willing to have a good performance to go in those teams instead of Manchester United. A lot of players also think about playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo but even Cristiano Ronaldo is not sure if he is going to stay.

Regards

Duke !

It is true that united has many good players, but most of them have inconsistent performance. Maguire was a very great defender, Pogba too, but their performance was up and down, it's mostly down for Maguire, lol.even their key player Bruno Fernandes was not very consistent either. Looking at how Pogba behave in the field, I think their might be some internal issues in the team.

What I am trying to say is that even if they can make Ronaldo stay, or they sign a new stars it will not instantly make them in the top 4 next season.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: July 05, 2022, 06:47:45 AM

I agree with you there is no doubt recently Indonesia done some significant progress in soccer, and now they are doing good development for improving their quality but still it's not easy for them to win this Asian Cup because there are too many good teams with much better quality and skilled players.

Many has good experience of playing in different top leagues which is helping them for having some positive improvement in game and Indonesia is having good squad but still it's not near as few countries for challenging them if they can do this consistently then surely in near future they could be able to win this trophy but right now in 2023 its not looking better chance for them to win this trophy from few giants of Asian Soccer.

As an Indonesian and Football fans,  I think the chance of they doing it consistently in long term is very small Grin, the team performance are very dependent on how the local competition going, and quality of the competition depend on how the federation handle it. And there are a lot of corruption in the federation and in the competition in the past years, we have a good year in 2017 with Luis Milla but in only 1 year the federation kick him off, for some absurd reasons.

Even though Indonesia has made changes but still, if the Indonesian squad is still full of local Indonesian players, it will still be difficult to win the title. Because one of the right ways for Indonesia to be stronger is to increase the number of naturalized players in the squad, even though Indonesia's poll is superior but he puts Indonesia at the bottom and the results of the poll still have no definite guarantee. So yes, I personally look at this Indonesian team even though they have been trained by great coaches but it will still be difficult to penetrate the final match in this tournament.

The local players will not be a problem if we have good league tho, but I agree that for now the best option is to find player who plays overseas, with better league and competition.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Sandbox being acquired by Facebook (Meta)? on: July 04, 2022, 07:11:13 AM
I don't know if you have read this, but I quoted from the Co-Founder,
"This will never happen"

https://twitter.com/borgetsebastien/status/1540815270427729921

But the possibility is always there I guess, though I am not sure why Meta would want to acquire SandBox in the first place, they already showing some teaser of their own metaverse. And I don't think SandBox has significant differences with what Meta already have.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to build a DEX without having a token? on: July 04, 2022, 07:00:40 AM
I don't know why your tittle and the main point of your thread is somehow different, in your tittle you ask that "is it possible to build dex without having a token?" then it is very possible, in the earlier day of DEX most of them was build without any token, but then they need to scale up, so they create their own token with each own purposes.

But in your main thread, you seems like looking for a cross-platform DEX, I and some of the reply already mention the experimental DEX, but you can find some of currently existing a cross-chain bridge, it may be not exactly what you need, more like a workaround solution.

1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TRON dead? on: July 04, 2022, 06:53:16 AM
Not yet, but I think they will, they haven't bring anything new and they are far behind from their competitor like Binance, or even Avax has more development. The only Tron related product that people are still using is the TRC-20 USDT and this is mainly because the cheap transaction fee, but Binance will soon taking over with their BUSD or USDT BEP-20.

And don't forget that Justin Sun reputation is getting worse every year.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 04, 2022, 04:52:42 AM

I'm also not sure if Chelsea are willing to pay a high transfer fee to sign Neymar. Chelsea took Lukaku to the team last season and suffered losses. So I don't think they will make the same mistake again. Neymar's performance in the last few seasons with PSG is not good. He was badly injured every season. And so Chelsea now pay higher transfer fees and may not be interested in signing Neymar with higher wages. Chelsea will benefit more if Neymar takes Ronaldo in the team.

I agree the neymar is underperform last season with PSG but actually it makes neymar transfer more likely. I don't think Neymar enjoy playing with too many stars player in PSG now, he get less playing time, and PSG will not hold him that much, so if chelsea want neymar I think they have a good chance. However for Ronaldo, he is more likely to go back to Juventus than playing in other Premiere League team, but everything is possible in football.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: July 04, 2022, 04:39:45 AM
Haha, I saw Indonesia is leading the poll on this thread, guess there are a lot of fellow Indonesian in this forum. Though Indonesia has grow a lot this year, I don't think they will make it to the final, surpassing group stage will be very good. But If I would bet my money, I would bet on Qatar or South Korea. Moreover Korea already bid to be the host, so their chance is getting higher. I wish Indonesia will also bid for the host so I could watch some of the game live.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in? on: July 02, 2022, 03:37:48 AM
I never consider the ETH gas fee as one of the indication of market movement, if anything it means that less people are doing transaction in the market especially the ERC-20 coin market. And as far as I know the price of Ethereum has never been affected by its gas fee, or vice versa.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: July 02, 2022, 03:33:31 AM
Most of the new project don't need bounty and shill in this forum anymore, I think this forum is too niche and the new project prefer more mainstream and common way of promoting their project. Since the crypto and blockchain become more mainstream everyday people will move to more mainstream media like google ads and facebook (meta) ads.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ethereum Dominance on: July 02, 2022, 03:18:29 AM
Even though the domination of Ethereum over Bitcoin in crypto market is possible, I don't think it will likely happen in near future. Bitcoin has already the leader in adoption all over the world, while Ethereum still has huge main issue with their gas fee, not to mention other platform similar to Ethereum that also has grown so much.
