1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 12:51:24 PM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

I don't believe there could be a 100% guaranteed game but yet my friends who are eager to make profits in the gambling accepted to play the gamed as instructed and at the end of it, they all loosed the game and at then, the rest of us were happy because we didn't play the game else we would had loosed as others.

I want to ask, do you believe in experts' gambling predictions?

You have to agree with the fact that,  there is nothing like sure predictions as long as the games are not ringed this is what makes for the fundamental understanding of the truth so for sure if anyone shares with you some odds selections claiming there are sure games then you should know that you are indirectly heading for a big lose along the line.

And for that I will advise you to only stake a small amount that you can afford to lose on those games,  just know that there is no guarantee in those games and at some point, you may possibly lose or win just by luck.
1242  Economy / Gambling / Re: Finding a Bug on: December 31, 2023, 10:56:04 PM

maybe ask first if they pay users who find bugs. asking for the fee before revealing the bug i think will make sense, just make sure the bug is critical and can affect the profit of the casino.

it's hard to do this however because for you to be able to know it's a critical bug you have to exploit it as well. and then if they find out you exploited to gain then you will not be paid. this is a dilemma.  Cheesy
Most of the casino already have a fixed amount when they announce a bug bounty and some time it fixed and if the gambler who found the bug is verified not to have exploited the bug before reporting the bug and also,  casinos pay well for bug bounty since it helps them to save losing huge from such bug.

So it settled deal and the casino stands to benefit more from this than the gambler himself, The majority of the bbugsa left unnoticed for a while and that has led to the collapse of many casino platforms.

So to avoid such incidents, casinos will pay a good amount to make sure they operate without bugs availabilities.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fear of December dump is fading away - for Bitcoin on: December 31, 2023, 10:44:37 PM
The wave is almost over and a lot of those who went on vacation will be preparing they return right about now and since the new year is just a few days away many of the market actions have already taken place and most of the time it is crises are mostly pre Christmas and since there is already a wave in that direction where bitcoin is already not shown any sign of market pressure that could force a sell-off and rather the price of Bitcoin have rebrand a lot and for that, we tend to see them making ways to see more uptrend bitcoin market rather than the expected decline.
I do agree that whatever happens happened and from here on out it is going to be a restart all over again. I still think that waiting for the new year is the more important part, and I believe that the best thing we could do right now would be to make sure that we are going to end up with a big increase in the price, but aside from that we should be considering that as normal. I know that it will get to a price that will be much higher than this, many think that we will do fine but I believe that we are going to do better than that.

If I see the price reach to anything above 50k that would be what I would expect, but if it could break over the ATH during 2024, that would actually not be a big surprise to me either, I could expect something like that.
When it comes to bitcoin price speculation,  a lot of positive energy has entered investors in recent times because of the recent price increase and how bitcoin can recover from its previous down price and that was a great time to buy more since it was a good discounted price so for sure a lot of those who understood the advantage of such discounted in bitcoin to stock up more holdings.

At the moment,  there has been a good recovery for Bitcoin,  and those who already used the last chances to buy the dip are already in good profits, and if they continue holding,  in the year 2024 will be more profiting and with the level of activities like Bitcoin halving which will be a major properly force to the next ATH.
1244  Economy / Gambling / Re: Finding a Bug on: December 31, 2023, 06:52:23 PM
First what is the casino's stance on bug because as far as I know,  some casinos declare a bounty on bugs and if anyone fines those bugs them you get your payment,  but if the casino hasn't declared a bounty it may be hard to get something out of them,  best you can do in that situation is just to approach the casino and inform them of the bugs.

Sometimes there are cases of gamblers taking advantage of those bugs and along the line, the casino may deny them their winnings.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: December 31, 2023, 05:41:21 PM
Why most of them find cryptocurrency as the best means of transaction while gambling,  is because of the core feature of cryptocurrency which is privacy and security,  so this made cryptocurrency to be the most preferred for those in that region and in such conditions.

Does privacy really matter nowadays?
I think that is the reason they are doing that, if privacy is the priority of using cryptocurrency then why are they still requesting for people's personal data while gambling or making deposit. To me I can say it is the simplest and easiest way to use in gambling but for about privacy I don't think we are still maintaining privacy anymore even cryptocurrency exchange do asked for people's personal data before they could execute any activity in their site and we still talks about privacy except for the decentralized gambling platform.

However, it always advisable to avoid some form of religious discussion and that is personal and we should don't try to put other's people religion down there to talk about them I believe this is a sensitive discussion and shouldn't be deliberated over here, we have forms of people and even as that the two major religion do gamble but to start talking about them is something that mostly bring about disagreement between two or more people.
The fact is that,  those gambler from such restricted area are not allowed to play on centralized casinos because due to they regional law,  those casinos may be banned in such places,  but still those from that regions will still fine they way to play games on decentralized casinos and at that point,  there may not be need for KYC data collection and for that,  they will be able to play under highest privacy.

Or some will even risk using a VPN to bypass the restrictions and also will be willing to dump the account if they are asked to pass through the KYC process.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 31, 2023, 05:33:38 PM
For me,  six months is still very small to know the real character pf a new project,  we should give the mat least a year or two to be able to see their true colour because of a casino really mean to manipulate their ways,  their could go for six months faking things
You forget a casino with the intention to scam its users can play the long con and stay for two years before pulling the plug. These ones are the scammers that rake the big pots, because they have more users gambling hugely on their casinos. If a casino ticks all my boxes namely the ones listed in the OP, I would have no problem trusting them. Do not be mistaken my friend, I’m not trusting blindly but cautiously.

I prefer to play on a casino known as reputable one as they won't ruin their image just because of small amount of money.
For a new casino, it would take time to gain their credibility as high rollers won't just spend money on a new one.
But as long as they have no existing scam accusation, I believe they have the chance to gain their loyal patrons.
They should also take a look on how to entice new players into their platform as they need to gain the trust of the gambling community.
The reason why I stated earlier is that to know how serious a casino is with their reputation it has to do with the time they have spent in building that reputation and how well they have dealt with issues as their risen along the line.

If as a gambler you can establish your judgement based on that understanding of taking the time let's say those casinos that have already spent at least 2 to 3 years in the building and establishing a reputation won't run away with your money when you play on them since they have a long-standing reputation to guide at that point.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: December 30, 2023, 11:14:34 PM
I just wish to see people view about single bet and accumulated bet. Which one do you till can be profitable when it comes to gambling. Although I normally do the two but in most cases I prefer accumulated bet to single bet.
I think the choice of sports betting between single and accumulated betting depends on the kind of betting a gambler wants stake on. For instance, if he's trying to stake a huge sum of money in betting, single betting is the best option because it's less likely to lose in single betting than accumulated betting but if the same person is trying to stake little amounts, then it's advisable he chooses accumulated betting.
Some time choosing single bet just because you want to stake a big amount is also very wrong although the advantage of doing that is bigger than the disadvantages,  and for sure you can also lose too by betting in that line,  but mostly sometime majority of those that want to stake huge amount go for single games.

In football it better since you will be able to carry out some analysis on the teams,  and also be able to select the bets using the odds also since the best team are always given the smallest odds since their advantages are higher compared to that of smaller team's.

Work work work + sleep,  I work all night since I handle my own business,  I have a cap flits that I manage as my own business so this gives me the flexibility of time to attend to other things like family and holidays,  and since I am not directly involved in the driving of those vehicles I just take care of my managerial repsoibilrirh monitor things from afar and also trying to cope up with other remote assignments,  I don't do the 8 to 5 round the clock thing,  it doesn't work for me,  as I like spreading out my time.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 30, 2023, 10:55:28 PM
When someone lose his bet it brings out all the bad time in a man for over the time he has been losing, but a single winning will make you forget all the loses and will still inspire you the more to gamble. It's the Joy of winning that triggers you to increase your wager in the next bet making you to feel you would break the house this time around, winning usually lasts in as long as you still have the money with you, in your account or at home anytime you reflect back to the money you will be joyous to keep gambling but only the responsible gambler will exit from site or casino house to give some little space before going back into gambling again.
With such understanding,  it becomes easier to cope up with loss when it happens because you already know that that feeling is temporal and with time you are going to recover from the pain,  and no matter what old experience it triggered up in you as a gambler,  so long that you have that experience before and you already know what to expect in the next round of games or the excitement you get when you hit your next winning,  all that makes you to forget on time.

But a situation where you continue on a losing trend,  because that also can happen sometimes,  when you lose and you continue to gamble again you still lose this time winning may be far from you and the best thing to do is to take that break off and rest for a while before you continue again until you find your winning luck.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: December 30, 2023, 10:21:06 PM
I just wish to see people view about single bet and accumulated bet. Which one do you till can be profitable when it comes to gambling. Although I normally do the two but in most cases I prefer accumulated bet to single bet.
Both bets formats have their ups and downs,  but sometimes even though a single bet will give you a more lower odds,  your chances of winning them are still very high compared to accumulative bets,  and so for that many prefer to stick to single bets but staking higher amount.

Sometimes when I want to use the cash-out feature,  I prefer to use cumulative bets,  and by so doing I will be on standby to cash out any available profits without waiting for the finals of the games, these ways I avoid the risk of total loses since my chances to lose with that cumulative bets is higher.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: December 30, 2023, 10:09:46 PM
For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?

Do you keep holding it hoping that the price will finally come up since it seems you can't actually trade it with it current value.

Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.
Seriously I haven't taken part in any signature campaign that pays it participants in coins,  but the thing is that I have been involved in a few airdrop and my experience with those tokens/coins has been nothing to write home about, The majority of them have become a total spam couns in my wallet.

While some few of them are of low value and with no hope of any future recovery for them,  so for that point I just look away from the whole thing and concentrate on the real investment in those few coins that have real value and proven templates to work with other than just creating hopes with and in worthless coins.
1252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 30, 2023, 09:59:42 PM
Do you guys have any thoughts on this... plague?
This isn't a plague, initially casinos didn't develop several sides independently. They mostly hire a team or buy templates on development sites, no professional developer is willing to risk time on speculative results. However they can take more risks on marketing to build the brand, the result as you have seen most, is that the offer is better than the reality.
For the mere true that online casinos are now the most go to for many gamblers and gamers who value privacy and freedom, makes them a new trend,  and in addition to that trend also is the availability of cryptocurrencies as payment methods on those casinos which makes it very widely accepted and preferred choice.

So we shouldn't build any negative mentality around the concept since it is a newly invoked trend that will ultimately continue that way until God know when.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 30, 2023, 09:45:28 PM
No one enjoys losing in gambling.Losing brings our hopes down, it ushers in emotional pain and grumpiness whereas, winning elevates our mood, bringing happiness and excitement. There are games where I have won and after withdrawing my winnings, I am so happy that I give gifted some of it to people around me. This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hands and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

The best healer is (time),  take time off after every session to either enjoy your winning or moon your losses,  but regardless of what the feelings are,  it's all fads away with time and the next time will surely come.

Time heals regardless of which direction you use the time,  be it for you or against you, sometimes this scenario always plays out with me,  when I lose I just tell myself that the pain will go away with time,  and truly as time passesasses days roll by I forget the pain and develop a thicker skin,  same also wit when I win,  at first I will be all excited and as time goes on the excitement die down and there be need to play some more.
1254  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 30, 2023, 09:26:03 PM
I did say that nothing is wrong in trying to recover from a loss, but the thing is, gamblers must learn to do it responsibly, I say this because, even in business, people lose, and because of that loss, they are forced, or they force themselves rather, to work harder in other to recover that money which they have lost, so they can return their business to being in profit again.

Same thing can apply to gambling even though I understand that gambling cant and shouldn't be compared to a business since gambling is not a money making venture, but still, we all can't deny the fact that we do have many gamblers whom making money off gambling is their major goal, so, for such people, trying to recover what one have lost is not such a bad thing to do, it is what makes gambling even more fun and entertaining, that is, not allowing yourself to be beaten. But then, in the quest  to recover what is lost, we must do it with all responsibility, and strategically in such a manner it doest lead into more loses out carelessness.
The thing is that loses happens and we need to try the best we can to avoid letting it get to us,  to the point that it will put us under pressure to recover,  and this is why we always advocate to only gamble with what you can afford to lose only,  so if you are gambling with such mentality in place,  you don't have any problem at all if and when the lises comes.

But just as you said,  it is not a bad thing to try to recover from your loses,  but in doing so there must be some level of procedures and total avoidance of pressure,  Because that is the only way a gambler can truly escape the chain of losses when trying to recover from one.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 30, 2023, 09:12:51 PM
The problem in this case is that investors should be aware of what they expect by investing in NFTs because in the end this only goes back to the collection not to others than most even though there is Cristiano's name behind them as one of the soccer players or perhaps the most highlighted athlete in terms of popularity today still we should not expect too much in this case.
Besides, if we are talking about Investment then we should know the risks that we will face especially to be in NFTs because after all this will be very much more risky for now except maybe for the previous few years where the NFT hype was still very high maybe this can also be considered.

I am not trying to defend Cristiano's name in this regard but when it comes to Investments, the decision is ours to make and that does not mean that just because Cristiano entered into a partnership for the manufacture of his NFT millik when it does not match the purchase price then we can sue because there was no compulsion to buy in the first place.
First those investors have a very wrong mentality about NFTs and this is why many of them have fallen victim to so many of those promising NFTs collections, the problem with most cryptocurrency investors is that,  the take those projects too serious and at they become so greedy to the point that they point high hopes in those projects,  this situation is a bad one and the approach has ended up disappointing many of them in recent time.

Just like in this case,  why should one invest in a coin just because you saw a prominent figure in society promoting it,  without checking to know what the actual team behind that project is,  this is a very sorry situation and in the long run, there may not have anything on the footballer as long as this case is concerned.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inflation and crypto gambling on: December 30, 2023, 08:53:41 PM
Despite the very try that global inflation has affected the price of many things around the world,  some are very pronounced while others may be silent on this, but the general economic atmosphere has exhibited a lot of stress out from inflation in the price of basic goods,  and lottery tickets are not spared in the negative impact,  while some companies may not increase the price, there have also decrease values,  e.g some lottery companies in my country have not increased the price of the lottery tickets,  but they have reduced the total amount in rewards for winners compared to what those jackpot winners used to receive before.

But then casino operators have their term template for how they want to run their sites and for sure if there is any increase which is above %100 it then means that the lottery company is already going way above the current inflation ratio.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: December 30, 2023, 08:29:30 PM
Let's settle on one fact about law and culture or religion, this three principle governs the physical elements of the people and this law or culture differs from place to place and is based on individuals' beliefs,  that is why you find gamblers even in a non-gambling regions but they are left to provide for the security and enhance the privacy if not when cash up with the laws,  it will take it cost and the individuals will be punished for that,  so we want the surprise to see individual gamblers violating either their states laws or even religion laws,  just to cash fun.

Why most of them find cryptocurrency as the best means of transaction while gambling,  is because of the core feature of cryptocurrency which is privacy and security,  so this made cryptocurrency to be the most preferred for those in that region and in such conditions.
1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: December 30, 2023, 07:52:13 PM
The impact of addictions are the same at all times and for sure both online and offline casinos carry the same level of risk and impact depending on the individuals involved

Addicts will always find his way around d making a top-up and keep playing because he is not in control of his emotions regardless if he has a bank card or even physical cash in him,  this is no basis,  so if we want to discuss the topic we have to break it away from each other so that we can avoid mixing up things and we talk along the line,  but then when you mentioned addictions,  majority of us will already have the mindset of an uncontrollable gambler.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it give fuel to skyroket for btc ? on: December 30, 2023, 07:40:30 PM

I do agree that Nigeria being a bit more open to bitcoin did definitely helped a lot. People forget the difference between a nation that has money versus a nation that has rich people. Nigerians on average may not be all that rich, but they do have a lot of money in that nation and a lot of population, which means, when you combine them all together as a nation, that becomes a huge amount of money, sure a single investor may not be as rich as an American for example, unless it's a rich Nigerian, but when they combine together, they make a big difference.

This is why it's quite important to remember that when you are dealing with these type of things, you are going to end up with something that would benefit everyone all together.
And that is the most important feature of Bitcoin the ability for everyone to have bits and keep exploring the industry via knowledge and practical involvement,  indeed Bitcoin have served millions of Nigerians mostly youths who sees the opportunity as a golden chances for them to involve in a technology that gives freedom from third-party involvement and privacy,  this is opposites of what we used to have with the Nigeria before cryptocurrency,  where the weight of the nations and access to advance technology is only given to the rich and privileged ones.

But the narrative has changed and even when the central bank tries to impose on the rights of the youths who are the major Bitcoin adopters we never give up on the use of P2P Nigerians still found they're way around until recently when the central bank gave a reverse order,  against banks inter cryptocurrencies transaction,  although the motivations are no longer there to use banks any more but the good news is that,  Bitcoinairs in Nigeria can now freely identify with the technology and own them at will and not just hide and sick thing.
