Seems to be resistance at $28,4xx

The FED releases CPI tomorrow, they might have to pause rate hikes due to the mess the banking system is in. If they pause or increase rates by 25 bps, I expect us to break $29,000 and who knows, maybe break $30,000 for the first time in what feels like forever. If they increase by 50 bps or more we might dump, stocks would tank too.

Obviously long term meh, who cares, the $ is trending to 0 & bitcoin is the future but short term we like to pump so hoping for a good day tomorrow.

Yea, you're right. There isn't much interesting going in the next few days.

However, let me see, you could go with the UEFA Women's Champions League tonight. Maybe you can combine the match as a parlay bet with the second match of the evening AS Roma vs FC Barcelona.

At least, FC Bayern playing at home @1.64 looks like a quite decent bet. Should be a quite easy win tonight, tbh.

Hey why not, if there’s money to be made it’s worth betting on. I was in Budapest a few years ago and the Barcelona ladies team was in my hotel, they had camera crews and everything outside the hotel. I think it was the CL Final.

I have a feeling Lyon will be hard to best this season, they’ll win it Wink

Yeah, I don't recall there ever being as tight a table as this season, from bottom to middle anyway, and it's been pretty much that way all season. I remember when Vieira and Gerrard arrived and most people thought it'd be a breath of fresh air to see such different ideas coming in. Was never meant to be, in the end.

Kompany next to come, and I hear a lot of chants for his name as Pep's successor but I don't think that would end well either.

People always think being a great player means you will become a great manager and it’s usually always not the case. Some of the greatest managers have been very average players. Ferguson, Mourinho, Wenger, Klopp. I guess you have Ancelotti and Pep who played at a high level.

Gerrard and Vieira will get another chance, I actually think sacking Vieira was harsh. Gerrard was doing badly at Villa so maybe deserved it.

Sorry Chelsea fans but as a Liverpool fan (having an equally disastrous season) I am taking solace in your troubles. Chelsea have spent so much money on let’s be honest, absolute mediocrity. I’ve never seen a club spend so much money in such a short space of time on absolute crap. The most wasteful transfer team I’ve seen in my whole time watching football.

I mean imagine if Chelsea win the CL, they’d laugh in our faces. I just don’t see it though. Boehly must secretly be absolutely furious at the way this season is going.

Odds on Potter being sacked before the season ends?
Maybe if/when Real knock them out of the CL.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 18, 2023, 09:08:15 PM
No chance Chelsea make the final, they’ve spent record breaking amounts on largely mediocre footballers. I’ve never seen such a display of irresponsible, wasteful spending. I’m surprised Potter is still in a job. I have no doubt that Real will deal with Chelsea comfortably. Even if by some miracle Chelsea get to the semi final they have Bayern or Man City awaiting them.

If you want to bet on an outsider or a less fashionable team, look no further than Napoli. I really like the look of them.
1289  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: March 18, 2023, 08:55:29 PM
Great point for Southampton, they showed real courage, fight & a battling spirit to get a point out of that game against a pretty good Spurs team.

If we look at the current league table above, we can see that Southampton have a real chance to get out of the trouble they’re in. Premier League survival is a real possibility if they can just put a good run of form together. There are literally only 4 points between Southampton & Crystal Palace in the lofty heights of 12th place.

The fight they have showed in recent games really shows they can get out of the bottom 3 if they give it everything they have. It’s so close down at the bottom, 10 games left for Southampton, come on you Saints.

1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: March 17, 2023, 08:33:23 PM
We hit $27,000 but let’s not get too excited. I really hope as much as anybody that we smash through $30,000 but nothing continuously goes up in a straight line. We were at $16,000 not too long ago so to be at just under $27,000 right now, with all the uncertainty around the banking industry is nothing short of fantastic. I expect we will see some selling before we hit $30,000 but if the market can absorb that & smash through $30,000 we will be in a very good position.

Important weekly close coming up for #Bitcoin  this week.

If it closes like this, then that'd be the first time it closed above both the Weekly 200MA & EMA since May 2022.

>weekend pump, stifler<

Wow, it’s been a while. I do miss those times.

Currently observing $26,787. Banks are failing, BTC is pumping. The way it should be!

Are we preparing for a bull run?

Too early to say, we’re definitely going to pump hard in 2024 & 2025 but current price action looks good. Breaching $30,000 in 2023 would be incredibly bullish, especially amongst macro economic turmoil.
1299  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: March 17, 2023, 11:09:46 AM
Congrats on the win, darxiaomi.

Regarding Arsenal, it’s never great to lose any game but they have much bigger fish to fry than the Europa League. They have one job now and it’s to win the PL. I don’t think this EL loss will negatively imoact their PL title charge.

Come on Arsenal.

I’m not going to watch Real vs LFC tonight. Anybody who knows me will know how big of an LFC fan I am. I’ve been all over Europe watching the Reds. I just can’t watch tonight, we got really humiliated in the 1st leg. I just don’t see us laying a glove on Real tonight. Going to save myself from being upset and sit this one out. Put your house on Real to advance to the 1/4 final. This version of LFC aren’t going to cause Real any problems.
