1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 27, 2022, 02:14:00 PM
For the game yesterday it sounds like SMB standup from their big losses, as we can see their stats right now that They have a 50% win ratio with  3 wins, and 3 losses. Which pretty good for them.

They really should. The Beermen are being upset by BlackWater Bossing and Converge XFibers this conference and that is something you can't expect on one of the considered top teams in the league regardless if there's JuneMar Fajardo on board or not or let's say even the ball is round.

As Vic Manuel said, other big men should step up while Fajardo is sidelined. This is how complete their roster is compared to other teams as they can easily fill up the position of their missing main player that's why if they lose against a mid-team, the reason for Fajardo's absence should not be mentioned.

Besides, looks like their new import Devon Scott is now slowly forming good chemistry with the team. He's now 2-1 playing as an import for SMB.
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: October 27, 2022, 01:47:54 PM
Why still hesitating about bitcoin when others were jubilating for it adoption in making difference, i have three facts to make you change your decision and start investing with this period while it is still on the bear mode just for you to set in for an opportunity.

Even if people will learn these 3 shared facts from you, the hesitation will still be there as long as, obviously, they are not really interested involving in bitcoin or in crypto in general yet. For us experienced ones, we understand that today's market trend is the best opportunity to accumulate more but even with how positive we are, we can't force others to do the same just quickly.

For me, just let them hesitate. Just let them miss the "opportunity". Just let them ignore bitcoin or what. Just let others think negatively. That's their own will and we should stay away from that. If we want to spread knowledge about crypto, then just do it. Once the interest of other people is now there, they will do the research on their own.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which play to earn and Metaverse project do you think will dominate in future on: October 26, 2022, 11:55:44 PM
Between Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Apecoin which one do you think it's worth buying for long term hold? Also if you are ask to name your one to five play to earn with the metaverse project which ones will you pick?

"Long-term hold?" I should say none. Most play-to-earn games are driven by hype no matter how good the development is. You should take advantage right away once the P2E games are now in the hype and do your best to make a profit out of it as once their hype was gone, expect a downfall.

Holding these P2E-related coins or tokens is not really worth it if your purpose is purely for profit.

For me, just enjoy those games if you really like the gameplay and not just because of expecting an x10, x20, x50, x100 in the future holding their coins.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Why We Prefer Online Casinos to Land-based Casinos on: October 26, 2022, 11:52:04 PM

It's not that I prefer online casinos but obviously, easy access is really an advantage and time-saving rather than going into a physical gambling establishment.

I say "physical gambling establishment" because I'm not talking about the usual big casinos. I believed most people think that when we say physical casino, those are the casinos we know that have a luxury look. There's a small one and lots of that nearby in my place. Maybe a 5-6 minutes drive.

Believe me, it's really entertaining to go into such establishments. Prior pandemic, me and my friends actively playing there, especially during weekends. The ambiance is really amusing as long as no person there will start an unnecessary commotion because of frustration.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: October 26, 2022, 11:45:46 PM
I often use the stake doubling technique to several games. I normally do this with dice games and if it played correctly its profitable. What you have to do is simply start with a small stake and every time you lose you double your steak until you win. Once you win, you will recover all the amount you lost. This works if you have enough money to keep doubling your bet, so you should do your math and check with how much you should start. It is not infallible but it works.

The technique is something that is supposed to give us a good result at most chances. It shouldn't be associated with lots of "what if". The mentioned example by you is also a luck-based game that's why considering there's a technique on that is not appropriate, at least based on my own view.

I consider that method of yours as a "strategy". But regardless, a luck-based game is literally a game of chance. It's not how to win here but how will you properly manage your profit in making your bankroll last long.

Now going back to the topic, my answer will be based on what I prefer gambling and that is sports betting. No specific technique but just be aware of the league we are betting on as our knowledge there will be the key to increasing the chances of winning on our prediction.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: Not financial advise. Just an example. on: October 26, 2022, 11:38:45 PM

If ever I will end up on that, I will prioritize settling quickly the CC with the high-interest rate then after settling my obligations there, I'll cut it out quickly. Now the small interest is left and it should be fine now to pay those without a big hassle. You don't need much of that number of cards. In case the reason why you are having multiple cards is about the limit, then having several cards at the same is not a good idea. Try to build a good credit quality score and only choose one CC provider.

But before that, ask yourself first, is it really a must that you owned a CC? If yes, it's not wrong to acquire one but getting 5 CC's at the same time is something very risky. Another thing, is your salary can really afford to pay your CC? If yes, then good. If not, then try your best to cut your current CC.

I have my own CC and I don't even feel the interest rate because of proper money management. Of course, a stable income is necessary.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 24, 2022, 11:26:48 PM
So could be the same outcome here, we might see a draw I reckon.

He can't afford to lose to Silva and the same goes to Anderson as well. So there could be some in the contract that we might see another 'controlled' results.

The fight was sanctioned as a professional fight @ 187 lbs although yes, we don't know if there's hidden agenda under the table.

But I'm sure Silva won't be involved in such craps that's why I believed this fight will be seen as fair and square***.

The fight was also listed on bookies now with Paul Jake as the Favorite to win the match.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: October 24, 2022, 11:15:32 PM
Can this guy win the case?
Has anyone experienced not being paid for their winning for real?
Why would they take your big money but refuses to pay big winning?
What could be done to curb this cheating permanently in gambling?

A lottery is heavily regulated therefore chances of that winner winning the case is possible.

As you mentioned, the lottery itself claimed that the winning has been wiped off their database as a result of a technical error. That's clearly their fault!

The winner just needs to show his winning ticket. It's impossible to create such a ticket intentionally for that purpose that's why it's big proof that the guy won.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 24, 2022, 11:11:25 PM
If I remember it right, this is just a single round. SMC and MVP's team are still behind and at any moment can spark up and surprise
the Dragons..

Yes, the format in every elimination at each Conference is a single-round robin.

The chances for let's say Ginebra or SMB to face the Bay Area Dragons again now depend on their playoff spot.

Still, several weeks to go before the Dragons will face the Hotshots and later on, against the KaTropa for their final elimination game.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 24, 2022, 11:05:26 PM
Interesting big fights are waiting for him in the super-bantamweight division,

Stephen Fulton shows interest in facing Inoue soon once the latter decides to move up. There's also another champion there, Murodjon Akhmadaliev.

Maybe Fulton against Akhmadaliev unification fight will happen first before Inoue's name will be involved in these two.

That was interesting to see but the recent statement by Bob Arum, Inoue's promoter, might spoil the excitement of everybody if ever Inoue decided to move up:
“I mean, I’d love to do that fight. But, it’s cruel and inhumane punishment to ask anybody to fight Inoue.”
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: October 24, 2022, 10:56:55 PM
Casimero is still too young for retirement, though I agree that Casimero has no room for a loss in this match, or else he will be another piece to the Akaho Collection of beaten Filipino boxers.

But if ever Casimero loses this match, it just shows that likely, he doesn't have the skills and power to compete at the top rankings or a title match. Casimero is 32 years old and if he will experience continuous loss, it will just put him below rankings or the worst not even considered to be assigned now on any match. It's hard to climb on rank and that will take time as we are not even sure if Casimero can average 1-2 fights per year at the point of his career.

Anyways, let's not talk about the possibility of Casimero losing here because the winning probability for him is decent. However, upset does happen but unlikely not in this match. If this really ends up with Casimero losing this match, I should also say that he needs to hang his gloves now.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: October 24, 2022, 10:51:00 PM
Still, I think it is better to not underestimate this Ramirez though, he barks for sure but we ain't seeing his side yet.

I think there's no such thing as some people underestimating Ramirez but it's just that, many witnessed how Bivol turned the table upside down against Canelo with his patience and calm strategy. It's hard to imagine that Canelo, right at the peak of his career just become a punching bag for Bivol that's why the big recognition for him is there.

Not saying Ramirez's previous foes are not that good but no one there can match or even close to Canelo's caliber that's why Bivol here is considered the Favorite to win the match.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: October 24, 2022, 10:42:36 PM
Can't believe there are analysis involved in this match lol. Seriously?

It's 100% obvious that this is all about entertainment and both camps are surely talking with each other about how they will behave in the ring. Not reading the whole terms yet but this fight won't even have a declared winner at the end, or anyone can correct me on that. Regardless, the winner of this match is not that important.

As long as they fulfill their promise that part of their profit on this exhibition match will be for charity purposes, then it's good. That might be just the big reason for people to support and pay for tickets to this fight.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 24, 2022, 10:31:01 PM
The downside of this is you will be exposed to dangers and likely becomes a target by criminals, your enemies may become jealous of you and may do something to hurt you. A winning game should remain within the player and preferably should be played online, no one will ever know that you won a fortune.

Regardless if we won huge or not, we can't control those people who have bitter feelings towards us. The same goes for the people who have bad intentions for us. On that big winning experience and let's say the public became aware of it, we should just try to be careful at all times and as much as possible limit our exposure to the public. But I believed it's not that we will become an automatic target for such actions.

In fairness, we haven't seen much news related to a person that got big winnings but suffered the worst experience after that.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 24, 2022, 10:21:35 PM
but this latest Portland loss is a big bells are ringing type of deal. They were not ready for the season? Did they not really worked hard on figuring out how they could get better?

Actually, that Lakers game against the Blazers is really not that bad. They just failed to secure their lead in the end because of several wrong gameplays. In other words, they literally choked at the last minute. Besides, Damian Lillard is really red hot that even his shots were contested, he really drained those.

What's the best thing to do for the Lakers? For me, none. Just go with the flow and play those games until they found that "rhythm". I doubt signing some good shooters or trading Westbrook will even solve their current problem. Their Coach should think outside the box or much better if he will remove the box.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 24, 2022, 10:11:18 PM
I'm just wondering what if Crawford got defeated do Spence will take the call challenging Avanesyan right away.

If the goal is to be unified all the Welterweight belts, then I think that would be the case if Crawford got defeated against Avanesyan on his title defense in December. There would even be no need for Spence to call out Avanesyan as I'm sure the latter will do it instead as that was a big break in his career.

Well then, since this fight now failed to materialize I think further discussion about this match is pointless for now.

Let's hope that next year, the much-awaited fight for long will now turn into reality.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 23, 2022, 10:47:16 PM
What a win for Ginebra, many already thought Magnolia will win but it looks like the game plan has changed and it will now in favor to Ginebra. It’s good to see their hassle in the last part of 4th quarter, I watch the game and I think they really deserve the win tonight. Well, this is basketball and there’s no safe lead for any team. Magnolia should take this as a lesson not to be complacent.

I was currently driving during that game but I'm aware of the scores. I'm also one of those who think Magnolia will win. Never seen yet the game highlights on how Ginebra was able to make a rally but I will say, it's really impressive. Who are these players that become a key to their winning?

As I posted here previously before the match, it now happened that Ginebra is the one that gives the current top seed Magnolia their first loss like what they did too against the Bay Area Dragons. Ginebra is really in aggressive mode as always against a tough team even if they are being behind the whole game.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 23, 2022, 10:40:47 PM
Of course, Jokic is a very valuable player, and the Nuggets management is well aware of that. As you probably know, the Nuggets agreed and signed a 5-year contract extension with him early in the offseason. So the Nuggets have already kept him for a long time since his current contract will only expire after the 27-28th season. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Jokic plays for the Nuggets his entire career.

Jokic already cemented his status as a franchise player for the Denver Nuggets. I'm sure that even with no championships, Jokic will retire in the Denver Nuggets jersey. I even think that once his current huge contract expires, he will still be offered a huge contract.

Even though not a fan of the Denver Nuggets, I hope he can taste being a champion. He's just 27 years old after all and has lots of time to precious his prime. The Nuggets should always try to surround him with good role players, especially their bench squad. If possible, they should also consider getting a considered big fish on the free agency if there's any.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 23, 2022, 10:33:55 PM

Yes, this fight is now "OFFICIALLY FAILED" to happen this year. We don't even know if it will happen next year as that will depend on the result of their respective fight. Currently, Crawford is the first one who moves on with this fight and now officially has the next fight in December. On the other hand, Spence Jr. doesn't confirm yet any details of his next plan either if he will fight this year or not.

The reason for the failed negotiations is unknown and likely they will not disclose it to the public.

Spence blames Crawford. Crawford blames Spence. Much better if they won't do a blaming game and just continue on their next plan.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 23, 2022, 10:25:48 PM
If the users claims tons of faucets or bonus is because the casino engine allows it, and if the casino is losing money with this action they should fix their code to avoid this problem and not steal users money.

Sometimes there are flaws in the system, however, instead of abusing it, users should at least notify the site about the bug.

Besides, not all users are having such actions and just doing the usual way of claiming in the faucets. Therefore, those who are aware of the bug are taking advantage of the situation which is already considered as "cheating".

The casinos sets the rules of the game, and if a user is smarter enough to find a way to make profit with those rules then they shouldn't block users withdrawals.

As long as that "smart way" is not considered a form of cheating or related activity, then they are good to go.

In the case of withdrawals being blocked, the site should explain clearly why it happened.

I have seen more than 2 casinos locking user accounts for this action, and is it really the users fault?

Just for reference as I missed it, may I know what casinos you are referring to?

Just want to see the details of their respective cases so I can give a proper response on this thread about the subject.
