461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 18, 2023, 10:35:44 PM
Why we should play with minor gambling platform, and not use only gambling platform like Stake, CloudBet, fortunejack ecc. which ensure us good games, 100% of safety in terms of withdrawal and provably fair (about games)? This question is also for the owners of gambling platform, maybe they can help to reply it.

It's not that "we should play on those gambling sites that are just in the early phase of their operation" but gamblers want to test the waters at those sites because they see "something" to it that maybe attracts them or got their interest.

For what are those specific traits or things they saw on that new gambling site, we have different preferences on that and it varies per user.

Sh*t really happened that's why as much as possible if the user is not that vigilant in choosing a good gambling site, better stick with the reputable ones.

463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Champions prediction. on: April 13, 2023, 05:47:56 AM
So my question is, what team do you think will win the NBA Championship this year.

Tell us the current betting odds and the reason of your choice, and please don't forget to vote on the poll.

This is tough. Sometimes, unexpected things happened.

Personally for me, now that my favorite team, Dallas Mavericks, was now out of contention and not even able to pass on the play-in, my choice on what team will bring this year's NBA Larry O'Brien championship trophy are; Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors (Favorites) and Los Angeles Lakers (yes, as Underdog).

Not betting though at the NBA Champion Future as I might focus on "Per Game" and "Series Betting".
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 10, 2023, 11:58:17 PM
And now we can't even say that this rumored fight will happen or not or are they buying again another time, we just don't know for a fact.

The report of this rumored fight now became hyped as it's really going to happen.

But again, sh*t happened and we should not expect this fight to happen at 100% not unless an official announcement will be made.

Save the date, April 22, that's the ETA for the official announcement of this fight.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 10, 2023, 11:55:02 PM
And again, this can not stop gamblers from gambling irresponsibly if they want to, or if they don't watch it, so have to submit such a certificate before gambling is totally of no use, it will also affect casinos negatively because they will definitely lose alot of customers including myself, I will stop gambling completely any day such a certificate becomes mandatory to submit before I am allowed to gamble.

And gambling owners won't allow that to happen as it's just removing one of their loyal customers.

The thing here is, we don't even know what tier can be considered a responsible gambler. There are gamblers who are losing big money but are still responsible for their life outside of gambling. What could be the factors to call a gambler responsible?

If that certificate thing will really implement, I'm sure casinos will just grant is easy without searching deeply into the gambler's status.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 10, 2023, 11:50:01 PM
Speaking about experience then Casimero is really on edge but he shouldnt really be that confident when it comes to this because we know that upsets
could really fucked you up hard if you are really that careless.

Surely Casimero isn't the type of boxer that always feels confident in an actual fight. As much as possible, he's even trying to pulverize his opponent as much as he can. Regardless if Nghitumbwa is known or not, Casimero will have the same approach which is to take down his opponent and win in a convincing way.

Casimero is currently on the goal of climbing the rankings in order to be included again in the contender's discussion.

That's the reason why he needs to aggressively KO every one of his opponents, to be recognized.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 10, 2023, 11:45:16 PM
And if Fulton will bring an upset then it's understandable that his value will greatly increase as he is the first boxer who brings the monster down,

Honestly, I don't want to call it an upset win if Fulton will win this fight against Inoue.

Technically speaking, I'm more of seeing both of them as somehow not having that much gap in terms of strength. It just happened that Inoue really proves that no one from the bantamweight (118) can defeat him and that makes him a big deal when he decided to move up to 122 and face right away the champion.

I'm looking forward to Fulton giving Inoue the toughest fight of its career.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 09, 2023, 11:56:44 PM

That is an impossible thing to happen. Why just in gambling? How about other considered sinful activities like liquor, cigarettes, etc.

And online casinos? How can they even monitor such things? What are the responsible gambler traits should be like?

No way the government will ask "online" casinos to implement such things.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 09, 2023, 11:53:24 PM
WBC organization already approve this fight, but there's no more update since February 2023, I don't find any updated news. But yeah hopefully this fight may happen this year.

Maybe after the fight between Reymart Gaballo and Nawaphon Kaikanh in May, we can expect that the WBC will now formally announce the details of the fight between Nonito Donaire and Alejandro Santiago for the vacant WBC Bantamweight title.

I assumed that because the winner between Reymart Gaballo and Nawaphon Kaikanh will be the contender for the winner between Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago. Let's wait until next month after the Gaballo and Kaikanh match if there will be any information about the Donaire vs Santiago fight.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 09, 2023, 11:49:00 PM
And that's always possible. Landing a lucky punch that will bring your opponent's down and win with a KO is not
impossible to happen inside the ring.

If that lucky punch is strong, then it's possible to KO an opponent. If that lucky punch successfully land on the opponent but unfortunately, the opponent able to withstand that lucky punch because of lack of power, then that was all useless.

Casimero is built with a strong chin and overall, with a great sturdiness that is capable of withstanding any big blows against any boxer at the bantamweight and super bantamweight division that's why Nghitumbwa doesn't just need to find that lucky shot but also needed a big power if he's attempting to put Casimero on the canvass.

However, technically, hard to imagine for me that Casimero will kiss the canvass against Nghitumbwa.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 09, 2023, 11:45:18 PM
And they don't expect that it will be Tapales who will face first Inoue (if Inoue will beat Fulton on their fight).
Because most are looking for Casimero to face Inoue, but it seems Tapales is on his track to face Inoue.
If Tapales will do his job of preparing and not trash talk like what Casimero usually does, then, for me, he has better chance inside the ring.
But we all know, when it comes to odds, Inoue will still be the favorite. For now, let's wait for the Fulton vs Inoue's results.

That is really something unexpected because honestly, PH boxing fans know and understand the gap between Tapales and the champion, Murodjon Akhmadaliev, but most ignored those technical aspects and backed Tapales for support. And guess what, Tapales might be the first one to have a shot on facing Inoue instead of Casimero, for let's say that Japanese monster won against Stephen Fulton in July.

This is really good news for PH boxing fans and all of a sudden, Tapales becomes a big deal.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 09, 2023, 11:41:13 PM
If only Pogoy shot better, I think the TNT will win.
I'm not blaming him either because there really are times where a shooter will be having a bad night, and it's the same with him.

I think I have pointed out before the "must-need" things that TNT really needs to win against Ginebra in the Finals and one of those is, Pogoy needs to be consistent. Actually, Pogoy is consistent as a whole but sometimes there are really off-nights for him. That's where the problem is because, if Pogoy is having an off-night, TNT doesn't have a thing to fill Pogoy's hole. For that, I won't blame Pogoy but the TNT locals instead.

Adjustment over adjustment but no adjustment happened.

Anyways, just Game 1 of the series and we'll see if that supposed adjustments by TNT will be seen next game.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 09, 2023, 11:36:42 PM
Better to face Inoue and let the fans to decide who's better between them instead of taking those criticisms about ducking the unifying champ from his previous weight division.
The decision to face Inoue was not an easy one for Fulton, even if he believes he can beat him the chances are not low for Inoue to beat him as well, so he could have easily avoid him if he wanted as he had already expressed the desire to move up a division, and even if some fans criticized him he could always defend himself using this reason, fortunately for us Fulton decided to take the challenge and even decided to wait for Inoue to get healthy after the injury he suffered.

This is correct. There are boxers who want to build a legacy and gather more achievements by doing a strategy that they think, will have a better shot. It's just that Stephen Fulton is not like that and instead of moving-up weight, which is his main plan from the start even prior to Inoue moving up, he accepts the challenge of defending his title against the Japanese monster.

Because if Stephen Fulton really wants to stay at 122, he can challenge Murodjon Akhmadaliev for a unification fight. Just an update though that Murodjon Akhmadaliev is now out of the champions at the 122 as Marlon Tapales upsets him recently.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 09, 2023, 11:30:34 PM
Can someone explain what will happen if they all end up with a season standing of 43-39? Will there be a tiebreaker game, or if not, who will finish in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th places? I didn't know how tiebreakers work in a play-in tournament.

You can check the Playoff Tie-Break Procedures directly at the NBA's global site under the NBA standings.

http://global.nba.com/standings/

It's a good read and basically added knowledge on some of how tie-breakers work in the league.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 09, 2023, 11:18:14 PM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.

Wrong. There's a strategy for gambling. We are not just relying on luck here especially if we talked about gambling types outside of luck-based games. I found it bullsh*t to just play with fun and treat gambling for entertainment purposes. Damn, there are lots of ways to entertain ourselves without risking our money.

Didn't you realize that with so much fun as your purpose on doing gambling, you never noticed how much money you are losing now, in the long run, to just fulfill your fun and entertainment? Isn't it fun to lose? That's a sh*t approach in gambling.

If you don't care for any strategy, gambling is not for you. Don't say that people don't understand that there's no strategy in gambling in general because if does true, then there should be no gambler that reaches the level and tier of being considered a professional gambler.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 08, 2023, 11:59:47 PM
Yes, instead of making these fights easier to avoid conflicts in politics, Crawford's got the opposite outcome because his decision to leave the stable of Bob Arum seems to become his biggest nightmare now because he's not getting any good deals after that. I don't know what's the plan of Crawford because the last rumor months back was that he might sign under Eddie Hearn but nothing happened until now.

As Crawford stated last November:

"I just blame the business of boxing. I don't blame myself for [even] one portion of the fight not being made. ... I felt like I agreed to everything that I needed to agree to. "I feel like I've done everything I'm supposed to do as an independent fighter to get that fight made. But there's only so much I can do."

It's clear and he understands as an independent fighter and a free agent that he will just agree to everything regardless if it's fair or not on his side just to make the big bout against Spence will be materialized. But still, the negotiations fail, and what else he can do now? So unfortunate that he ended up like that.

I actually appreciate and admire Crawford for doing that. He took that huge risk and dive right into it in-exchange for a small hope that the unification between him and Spence will somehow happen after he severe his ties with Bob Arum and Top Rank. He even said in the interview after the negotiations failed that he was willing to take as low as 30% slice just to make it happen because he actually believe that Bob Arum was the only hurdle left, that's why he took care of it.

Little did Crawford know that Al Haymon and Spence actually doesn't want to make that unification fight happen, I even believe Bob Arum knew it right from the start but Crawford's mind was fixed on that moment and decided to leave the promotional company.

Moving forward, it results in some not interesting fights for Crawford as a free agent.

It's really no doubt that a big promoter is always a must as it's clear that if a boxer wants to build a legacy, the business side can't be avoided. Seeing the recent news around the boxing community sites seems that Crawford finally got what he wanted and might possibly face Spence in June.

The official announcement will be on April 22.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 08, 2023, 11:59:34 PM

Martingale is not a strategy, to begin with. It's more of a betting method. Let's also take note that casino games are more luck-based games. Regardless of any applied strategies, losing is more likely to happen in the long-run, honestly, even in the short-run.

The best thing to when dealing in a casino games is, put up a strategy that will make our bankroll last for long.

If winning big, learn to take a break. If losing big, also learn to take a break. Discipline is the key.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 08, 2023, 11:58:00 PM
i have the feeling that spence's camp didn't see much hype with the thurman fight. and now, they finally decided with the crawford fight. based from early poll here in the forum, most are rooting for crawford. i can understand the sentiments. crypto casinos haven't listed this yet. but early favourite is showing that it is crawford. so the odds may be close on this one. just look for other betting lines once bookies listed this match.

In the first place, the whole idea of the fight between Spence and Thurman is really a disappointment.

Honestly, even though Thurman is not the supposed opponent, the whole fight that favors only Spence is really crap.

Let's wait if this fight will really materialize for not or will become again a failure of the year.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping Dealers on: April 08, 2023, 11:55:40 PM
For a much better and more accurate response, a person who always lurks at the physical casinos should respond here lol.

Based on my stuck knowledge, referring to OP's mentioned situation, a tip can be in any form, regardless.

Here in the country, like for example "perya" or local games, tipping can be the same as giving money to the one who put some luck to the winning bettor.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 08, 2023, 11:52:57 PM
We can only expect a rematch if it's written in the contract. And since it was not announced that there was something like that, we should not expect a rematch. However, it still depends on the outcome of this fight. If the outcome is controversial and this fight sells to the crowd, promoters would love to make a rematch as they'll make more money from it. The fighters just have to follow the orders from their promoters.

Personally for me, regardless if there's a rematch clause or not, I'm not really thinking anything about rematch. But if I will share my own opinion about that, I don't see Fulton will consider a rematch if he lose but instead, will focus on moving up weight.

Good point, we've heard that he wanted to go up in weight already, but maybe he was advise by his camp to still campaign here even at the last time to face Inoue. As he is a good name in his resume and he will be really tested on this one. So I will say that it's a good move for him and it's a win win. Even if he losses this fight and the belt, he will proved to the boxing fans that he is not afraid to face anyone in the ring even against the Monster in his own country. And boxers love this kind of challenges and this is a great opportunity for Stephen Fulton to cement his legacy this early in his career, rematch or no rematch.

Honestly, it's like "business not finished" for Stephe Fulton and since it's timing that Inoue moved up and Fulton is still there at 122, he decided to pursue first the new challenge at 122 rather than pushing to his original plan at 126.

Aside from that, I'm also see it's more of pride as if Fulton still insists to moved up on 126 and ignoring Inoue, he might receive some criticism that he is might ducking or afraid of the Japanese monster.

Moving forward, the fight now happened and we just have to wait who will be the winner.
