You mean the S2 black button? I tried that for 20 seconds & it didn't work. I don't think it actually reset it. Ethernet light flicks on 2 or 3 times and then dies altogether. The cord is good, I tested it. I did IP scan however and it did not show up so I'm not sure.
If its turning off and its a setting thing try holding while powering up and when its starts to flicker let off the button. That's my thought. Mine right now is turning off with insufficient power[or at least what I'm going with till I get my replacement supply]. you could try unplugging the pci express(while off) farthest away from the Ethernet plug and try turning it on. It resets back to original IP I held it for 30 s then shut it off then held it while turning it on then shut it off again and was able to connect with factory ip

never pinged before what are the values to enter I saw the option your talking about but wasn't sure what to enter
If you want to ping 192.168.1.50 for example: ping 192.168.1.50 So I want to ping my IP for the s1? If you're trying to see if its there then yes, I don't know what you're trying to do. That's what I was trying , so I pinged the address it sent back information seemed like it found something. So the underlying issue is that I'm not mining I've configured the miner but maybe its not configured right (stratum+tcp://stratum.bit coin.cz:3333 does this look right for the pool info. I'm lost I don't understand why its not working You've got a space in that address Yeah that's just auto correction bigger problems now I changed the lan to static IP now I can't access the the Interface after a reboot?

Can't connect to antminer s1 says this page can't be displayed when i type the IP into the address bar. I have it plugged in to the router with Ethernet cable, IP address on side is 192.168.1.99, my IP is 192.168.2.xx default gateway is192.168.2.1 any suggestions, when I scan with angryip it only picks up my laptop, the laptop is not connected by Ethernet should it be?
OK so I've finally connected to the interface changed IP address , entered pool info but can't figure out how to get the s1 mining Go to Network, then diagnostics. Use the ping and see if the S1 is connected to the interwebs. Once its online, it should start mining automatically. If it doesn't, something may be defective, like mine a few posts up. Took 2 days to get through trouble shooting and Tech support. But a replacement is on the way. Good Luck! never pinged before what are the values to enter I saw the option your talking about but wasn't sure what to enter
