OP thread updated

marto74,

I see a chip hashing very low from your image, chip 5, is this the same production problem of bfsb h-cards (bad soldering) or is this a problem with the chip itself?

will your cards have a guaranteed minimum speed?

spiccioli

as far on the very first board we soldered ASICs after the board was populated we had some issues.
Today we debugged chip 1 bad soldering , but as soon it was fixed the board ran Ok with only this chip @ low speed.
I'll leave it to go for a day and then We'll look 2 this. It may be also bad chip.
Next week I'll have 2 more sample boards that will be populated in full production environment with 4 chips each for testing.
I'll confirm minimum speed guarantee after some testing.

Soon We'll finish design of sheet metal enclosure for S-hash board. Also We may be offer 3-rd parity design of enclosure

After reaching an agreement with c-scape and announced today bulk chip prices from BFSB, We decided to offer you all the possibility to get in October Bitfury chip based mining boards. The design is proved and working. Today We Assembled a test board and it is hashing @ 37-38 GH/s at the moment.

Features:
16 Bitfury ASIC capacity
Adjustable (through 0805 SMT resistor) voltage regulator between 0.7 and 0.9V
Core voltage regulator has 50A capacity, so chips can be overclocked.
On-board ARM Cortex M3 processor with standard RJ-45 100 Mbps Ethernet port.
Built-in mining software can operate stand-alone. No PC or Raspberry PI needed, just an internet connection.
TCP/IP stack with DHCP and DNS support. Just fill in pool server name, port number, username and password.
Support for Stratum and backup mining pools.
Built-in small webserver for chip status/speed reports.
PCB temperature sensor, could be used for automatic shutdown when temperature gets too high.

If you don't have the budget for a large number of chips, overclocking is the best option, as it will get you 40GH/sec out of a card

1. Miner Pricing:

1.1 Full assembled miner including PCB, 16 Bitfury chips ,  desighner fee, all components, assembly and testing, hestsink and fan - 720.00 EUR

1.2 Assembly service for owners of bitfury chips -including PCB,assembly . designer fee and testing , heatsink and fan - 399.00 EUR

1.3 Technobit NanoFury USB miner - 52 EUR

1.4 Technobit NanoFury assembly service with your chip

Technical details

* No external power supply is required as the board is USB2.0-powered. If you want to run multiple units via a powered external USB hub you’ll need to get that separately. Powered USB hub is not included in this GB.

* For the same reason the hashing rate will be limited to about 2.3GH/s. (This is because the device can draw no more than 500mA from a standard USB 2.0 port). At this point we estimate that we should be able to achieve roughly 2GH with those power constraints, even though the chips have demonstrated up to 3.2GH/s. It is also possible that due to those limitations we may have to run the chips at a slightly slower hashing speeds , which on the good side will be controlled via software (cgminer) and depending on your specific USB hub you might be able to squeeze out a few more hashes.

* Overclocking: the board does permit some overclocking (with hardware modifications - see also “pencil mod”). Be aware though that if this exceeds the limits of your USB port your computer may just turn off the port completely. Also, with increase of speed you will get more heat. The chip and board is designed to use the back side as a heatsink, but if that’s not enough you may have to add an additional heatsink.

2. Bitfury chip distribution
At the moment Bitfury chip is aviable to buy in 3 options : From Niko @ BFSB - single sample chip - 80 EUr /piec; From BFSB 65000.00 EUR for 3000 pcs reel and from Zefir 300 pcs for 108 EUR
We are offering you to  join together and to get a reel . You can order minimum of  1 chip  @ 24 EUR per piece.

3 Delivery time
As per Niko Punin message the chip are to be delivered in the beginning of October, so we have a few weeks to gather enough demand.
If the chips are here early October the production of the board will take 2-3 weeks, having in mind design is working and proved.
Hi,
Niko,

I'm trying to organize some assembly service based on 16 chip miner board.

Best Regards: Martin

Dear Martin,

I'm sorry for delay, just got the pricing yesterday myself. Chips are available available in $90000 or 67500 + VAT per reel. We will deliver these chips in late september / early october.

4. Ordering
Orders will be accepted for both miner boards and chips on our web site : technobit.eu
The ordering will be open in 24 hours
Payments accepted through BitPay and Wire Transfer
1325  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Custom Case Design for Bitfury SHASH Miners on: September 12, 2013, 03:50:40 PM
I like your design
But It'll be expensive.
I'll come out with not so fancy , but cheaper desighn.
I can still produce this if you want
1326  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG Klondike assembly/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: September 12, 2013, 03:47:04 PM
Hi marto,

is it still possible to order stuff from your shop? Have send a mail to support but no answer regarding heatsinks.

I would need some hex heatsinks for proto testing, are there dimensions of the groove available?

cheers
Foofighter
Sorry
spent last few days deliverin and assembling S-hash board prototype.
It's now running @ 36-38 GH/s
I'll try to answer all of you in the next few days.
In the begining of next week first batch of HEX16 boards will be here and we are starting assembly for the customers with Avalon chips on hand
1327  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG Klondike assembly/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: September 12, 2013, 07:03:55 AM
Marto will we also be getting refund on the board hardware/shipping costs etc when chips are going to be refunded from your GB?
This is postponed until Monday for now
1328  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG Klondike assembly/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: September 12, 2013, 05:45:28 AM
Has TechnoBit been able to get the k16 working?
Has anyone?
No
We made prototype boards based on last rev from BKKcoins, populated one but the firmware did not worked properly , so we left it in order to push our own design ahead , because K16 is limited in OC due to power regulators limitation

Punin ,
Thank you for the  answers.
Today I got the sample chips by Regular mail and punin is going to refund me the express delivery cost.
In the envelope there were 20 sample chips (ordered and paid 16) , thank you Punin.

During populating the board and unwrapping the chips we find out that there are not 4 but 8 extra chips.
So 50% bonus..
Thank You Niko

Actually you got 800 chips from GB2 so your vote for GB 1 is 2112 chips
Yes, my mistake sorry!

So 2595 to go.
Please, count jkminkov chips also.
OK

I'm for refund! 2912 chips.
Lets vote and if we get more than 50% in chips it is time for actions.

As far you decided to make pre-vote do it for the GB1 first

Hi,
Niko
I've send you a few Emails asking about bulk chip order prices.
Is there any problem ?

Sorry Marto, I'm drowning in emails, just had someone take over the communication for me. We will introduce new chip pricing on the site this weekend.

Any news ?
Huh

Hi, all,
As stated before.
I'll wait until 16-th of September in the morning and if there is no Shiping info from Avalon I'll ask everybody in this group if they want a refund.
If majority 5000+ chips owners want a refund I'll ask John.K to send a refund request .
Same with batch 2 when it become 2 weeks late after promised delivery time.

why not start now, gather already information who wants refund ... so you are ready, the chips have no more value ... even less in 2 weeks ...

agreed. We can make a refund list and count.

Marto, have you already received an answer from Avalon regarding your e-mail about the possibility of a partial refund?
No nothing

We are going to offer new C-scape Shash board.

If I may ask, who's gonna offer new C-Scape S-Hash board? You or punin?
Me
