We are in production of th first batch.
A day or two before shipping you will be contacted to sort transport and stuff.
324  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Minion Chip Assembly GB on: July 22, 2014, 10:07:06 AM
We have it as an option in the FW, but not enabled for now
We are busy with production flow now.
May be we'll be able to include it on time, but no promises there

my hex8a2 has been working perfectly for a while. now suddenly hash rate drops to 0 for a few mins, then restarts but is wildly inconsistent. im running tp-link and have tried another one with latest build, different psu but still see same behavior. any ideas what i could try?
try to switch the pool first

Marto.

I placed the order on your wenste as you instructeur but till now I did not get an confirmation?

328  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback/240 GHS - 199 EUR - July shipment on: July 19, 2014, 09:17:27 PM
So just to be clear does the minon board come with stand offs to raise it up ?
Yes
329  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback/240 GHS - 199 EUR - July shipment on: July 19, 2014, 06:39:34 AM
Marto, what's the debugging protocol for a HEX8A1 which won't mine. Mines actually been idle for a few weeks it seems. Powered, power LED is on, fans are on and its detected by the WRT. I've tried every form of restart there is.

It seems you do not have 12 V on the board.
Check the psu and if it is ok
Just send it for repair/replacement.
Most probably protection blown

So the code is for discount for the GB for the ones paying for assembly with USD or BTC.
For chip Vs assembly just place an order with bank wire , do not pay it and send a msg with the order that you wish 4 chips for assembly and you are part of the GB
than when I have your chips I'll mark the order as payment accepted
331  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback/240 GHS - 199 EUR - July shipment on: July 16, 2014, 07:56:05 PM
Any chance of dimensions of the board please trying to get a enclosure for it.
250x300x20 mm is with bottom heatsink mounted
in the height 20 you add 25 mm for the bottom fan , then some gap , then the height of your cooler
the Arctic freezer 7 pro we use is 127 mm high

Also im curious on what to do next..

Do you need some help on keeping track on eveything bob, marto?

- How can we place an order at TB or does bob arrange all that?
- How do we let marto know where to ship (mine needs to stay in the EU)?
- What about individual chip transfer? ( Cortex7 - 2x minion  --> y_boonstra , and other ppl like us ).

Best will be if you place an order with technobit site
and use tracking and code from minersource.
This way I'll know where to ship.
And minersource will provide me with the list of every sending with the chip owners inside and quantity.
333  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Minion Chip Assembly GB on: July 16, 2014, 06:22:30 AM
I have no drama my side just sitting back waiting parts from all over the place to start arriving.
Chips from China
Tplink from Hong Kong
Board from Bulgaria
Psu from usa
Cpu coolers still undecided Smiley

Actualy the chips and boards will come to you together Wink

HI all,
I got a notice from DHL today for 2 sendings from USA and China.
I took the import documents paid VAT via bank transfer and left papers @ the customs office to wait the money to be confirmed and then papers cleared.
Usually in Bulgaria this takes 2-3 working days. If we got lucky I'll have the chips by the end of the day tomorrow ( second day).
AS soon I have chips in hand and count what received I'll contact miner source for a list of the participants in the GB.
This will be the moment we will count our 2 weeks shipping time.
WE 'll dispatch boards as ready by the orders number as it was placed  in our site .
Nice, will you be contacting the GB members so far it is impossible to order boards from your site without having shipper/tracking code.
You can get it from minersource, together wit discount code

Sorry for the short answers
In our patch for cgminer you can change both frequency and the core voltage free.
So you can make infinite combinations of Mgs/mVolts in order to find your own sweet spot.
These of you that used our product in the past should know that.
337  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback/240 GHS - 199 EUR - July shipment on: July 15, 2014, 01:05:21 PM
Can you under clock and lower core voltage the Black Arrow chips on your board using your modified cgminer? I'm looking at extending the profitability (ghs/watt) of the miner as difficulty increases. Have the Black Arrow chips been graded? So far it looks like some will run at 800mhz max.
yes
338  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback/240 GHS - 199 EUR - July shipment on: July 15, 2014, 07:02:35 AM
The CAN chaining still stays in our plans , but is not released yet. Sad
There was never time for that
I'll correct the product page.
The connector is mini USB B

Will this stock cooler do it shifts 95w so if I add extra fans would it be ok I want to have low profile.

http://click.intel.com/internal-thermal-solutions.html
I doubt this one will work, but you can try
340  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback/240 GHS - 199 EUR - July shipment on: July 14, 2014, 04:38:30 PM
what's the dimensions of the 4 mininon board looking to mount in a case of some sort plus will a cooler that can do 95w work or is 100w a must.
the base heatsink is 300x250x20
Then add the arctic cooler for height + 120x120x25 fan on the bottom and some room for air under
