So has anyone raised the question in this shitclone about what happens when pool operators decide to pretend they didn't mine a lucky block? Is mostly everyone using p2pool? AFAIK, pool operators can still effectively steal from its users. Or do pools now run on some kind of system that prevents that? I don't keep up with the numerous gibberish acronyms.
A good user-based pool will publish the amount of LKY each block yielded, and this can be verified in the block chain explorer. And in a P2Pool the minted coins are sent directly to your wallet in proportion to your share rate, so if a large block is found you get whatever percent of it you would normally get with a small block. |

Check us out! And thanks to the group thats been mining away since launch  I really like that site and have been using it for stats, but I've been asking what the "PPS" system the pool uses means. There's no possible 'random' method of determining block rewards. Whatever mechanism you have in place will be cheated to hell in back. Just like with junkcoin.
This. Any set numbers in the minted block hash, like the first or last 4. Example - 0001 to 9400 --> 88 LKY. 9401 to 9900 ---> 188 LKY. 9901 to 9999 ---> 588 LKY. 0000 ---> 5888 LKY. There's no way to predict that. Any questions? |

Well I finally give up on this coin been offering people 1000 for 4 ltc and no ones interested in buying it.
If no one wants it there is no point in mining it.
It's a BRAND new coin, no ones going to want it until it can prove it has dedicated miners. If you're mining it for immediate profit, then yes, there's no point for you to mine it. |

Patience... its much too soon for an exchange to take up LKY. The last thing it needs are instaminers and dumpers It's hard to work out if I should even be wasting electric mining this lucky coin. It isn't on any exchange and the only people that want it on this forum want it for free. I'm more than happy to keep mining if I know it's worth something but right now no one wants it at all. Only mine it if YOU think its worth something. Remember its a brand new coin, not many people will want to buy it until they know it is stable. |
