Yeah I find if I limit my block erupters to 8 per instance I get 300+ MH/s each. If I go with say 16 per instance I'll get ~270 per BE. I'm using an FX-8350

Ok, I have a separate instance of bfgminer for each miner running now which appeared to work better for a while even though they never reached overclock speeds btu there are less rejects. They start up and run at the stock speeds for at least an hour, then the two antminers slowly lose speed settling at 1.38 gh/s amd 1.50 gh/s while the block erupter stays at 313 mh/s. CPU spikes to 100% occasionally but is usually between 35-80%. I have a fan on them and they are not hot to the touch. I bought them used, could they be damaged?
No they're probably fine. The modified BFGminer isn't multi threaded so it can only use one cpu core. What kind of cpu do you have? |
