1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: August 24, 2023, 09:06:36 AM
Gamble on the most trusted and reputable online casino for you. As scamming online becomes rampant, then stay away from new online casinos that are offering too good to be true prizes. Although I’m not saying this in general as there are still reliable new online casinos but hey, let’s face the reality that a lot of them are built to scam people particularly those new gamblers that still want to explore different online casinos. So stick to those casinos that have positive reviews and in which you have also experienced playing from them.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Personal favorite on: August 23, 2023, 10:00:22 PM
I've had the best luck, the fastest withdrawal and deposits from https://www.bitcoincasino.us/ they do require a 3x wager of amount deposit but the cash out immediately. What do any of you think?

Not familiar with that casino so if I where you much better if you stick or decide to play on a casino which have good reputation in this forum since they can be more trusted when dealing with our winnings and other technical issues  might occur. As other stated you are so lucky you withdraw your funds since at first glance they are shady casino and can't trust them if on first glance they already have negative ratings from this community or on other site.
Same here too. It’s my first time hearing the name of that casino so I can’t tell if it’s legit or not. Do not rely on first withdrawal results as they might be tempting at first. But make a research or read some reviews and feedbacks before you put your money on it. If you are sensing some future scams, then avoid it as early as now. It’s still best to play on reputable casinos you know that have already build their names in years, rather than taking risk in new casinos that you’re not even sure if they will be the reason for your big losses once you start trusting them.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: August 23, 2023, 09:14:57 PM
There's a chance if they're just lucky by giving correct prediction, but there's a chance if they're a legit channel.

Since the result you're using their predictions are good, I can't comment too much especially you're also know if there are so many scam channels.

Always remember this, gambling is only for fun, don't really looking to make money through gambling. If you're looking for money and you're not win after joining their VIP zone, then gambling isn't for you.
I can sense that scamming will about to take place after series of winnings, that’s why I can’t push you to subscribe on this VIP zone. However, you should know also if you are sensing a scam since you’re quite gambling for long now so probably you have heard already stories about gambling scams. But still, in the end, if you still want to try, then go but never risk big amount of money. You can subscribe now but when you see you’re not actually winning then unsubscribe from it immediately. That’s the only solution so you won’t never regret things in the future.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 23, 2023, 01:48:49 PM
Keeping the winnings secret can't lessen the SWS IMO, the best move I think is to seek out financial advisors.  Since we are not familiar in financial management, it is not bad to look for advice on things we are not familiar with.  We don't have to expose that we won a huge amount of money, since we have the right to keep our financial status secret, but getting advises, and knowledge about financial literacy often saves us on this kind of syndrome by knowing what to do next.

I also agree that we should not live our lives in a luxurious life, boasting about our financial capability, it is always best to have a low profile, this will save us from lots of dangers and headaches.
I like the idea but will this not make us spend more by hiring a financial advisor? I mean, I know they are good but aren't they also expensive? I have not tried seeking advice in this kind of way and I have never known anyone who is in that field so I don't really have a clue about what they do and how much they are charging people.
I do have a bad way of being like a one-time big-time spender whenever I feel like there's a big spare of money in my wallet. But I do use it for the good of my family and not for any hobby, bad habit, or selfish desires. Still, there must be a way to lessen that but in my head, I always think that financial advisors are just for the rich which I think is too much of a pessimistic point of view.

Getting a financial advisor isn't cheap because their job is not that easy either and that is why when making a move like this, we should make sure that it's only a temporary situation so that in the long run, we will see our gains instead of only thinking about the funds we're paying for them instead of seeing it as a profit. It will be waste if we're hiring them as long as we're living in this world because we're not on of those billionaire tycoons that are gaining millions even while they are sleeping and isn't that bothered about the fees they are paying for their advisors.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 23, 2023, 01:01:23 PM
I don’t know how serious the trade scenario of Karl Anthony Towns for Damian Lillard was, but apparently it was serious enough for Portland to comment that they don’t want KAT. I’m a little surprised by that, as I don’t think they’re going to be able to get a better player for Dame, but maybe they just want lots of draft picks or something.

That is a big sign that the Portland Trail Blazers are now looking forward to rebuild their team and carve out a new franchise image from the future picks they could get out of Dame because they specifically denied the Timberwolves request in giving KAT and some other future trades in-exchange for Dame Lillard.
Furthermore, Blazers are seems to be still sticking with what Dame wants by giving the Heat a chance to make a good trade but up to now, there are still no signs that both teams are going to agree with something to make it a done deal.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 23, 2023, 12:20:23 PM
There is no set profit for gambling and you should never see gambling as your main source of income. If you have more money then you can enjoy gambling some money as entertainment. But in gambling your luck is more dependent so if your luck is good you can earn more money.
Of course, when playing gambling we must be able to control the finances that we are at stake because we have to use some of the money we have for daily needs, and in gambling we are willing to lose the money we have and if we lose, we are ready to accept it. So someone who plays gambling must be disciplined and careful not to overuse his money, because gambling cannot be predicted that he will always win, he may lose and we are ready to accept that risk.

Might be easy for us to say but I bet that up to now, we or it's just me, sometimes go overboard even for just a little bit, not because we chase our losses but for some other reasons that enticed us to go over the supposed betting budget. It's not that we don't know about this at all as we've been gambling for years now, it's just that we are still humans which makes us prone to make some mistakes which are quite inevitable specially when it comes to gambling. In the end of the day, it is what it is.
1367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there still hope for the price of BTC to hit back $69k this year? on: August 23, 2023, 09:59:07 AM
I’m always hopeful that btc will eventually recover and surge high again until it surpasses its previous all time high. But seeing the slight movement in its price hike, I don’t think hitting $69k again will be possible this year. However, I’m not closing doors to the possibility also that it will eventually reach another all time high, higher than its previous ATH. Just remember that everything is still possible with bitcoin. It can be a lot surprising at some point, just like reaching its new all time high way back 2017 when everyone else is not expecting a very bullish market.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos Should Also Be Prepared For Health Emergencies on: August 23, 2023, 08:49:18 AM
They are already prepared with any kind of (First Aid Kit)

But, do you know? most of the kit is only for the common case. Cardiac arrest (heart-attack) is not really a common case (it's really rare to be happening) and most of service provider is also are gonna to provided the same things that casino provided.

They are ready, for any kind common issue because that was the most they're facing.
I think when you enter into reputable casinos, it’s already given that they are also prepared to extend their emergency help in times of unforeseen incidents. However, you are right, having a cardiac arrest is not a common case as it’s very serious that needs immediate medication from health professionals. So if you think you have heart problems, be sure to take your maintenance medicine first before you gamble in casinos. That way, cases like this will be avoided and should not put the blame into the casino management.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos games are not made by the casino teams but... on: August 22, 2023, 09:19:33 PM
What’s certain for me is that if the casino really intends to manipulate or cheat through their games, of course they all have the control and access to make it happen. What’s the use of owning their own casino platform if they can’t manipulate their own games? I believe there is nothing to argue with that. Just because of the fact that these games are already made by trusted and reputable providers, then they can’t be rigged if the casino really intends to do it. It’s like your money, your rules, same like it goes with casinos, it’s their own platform so they can manipulate everything that belong to their possession.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 22, 2023, 08:40:09 PM
If you trust the casino and you're a big bettor and you think that you could win a big amount of money and you don't want issues when you want to withdraw huge money then go ahead if there's an option to verify your account, once you sign up in a licensed casino you should expect KYC, you should expect unexpected winning, but this does not mean that you will not encounter issues with your account, even if you did a KYC they can still ask you for additional documents.

There's no such thing as safe marking in a casino, if there's an issue in your account and their security triggers an alarm you still have to prove your innocence or ask you to do another verification.
If you're going to face all of this it's better to face this issue where you will have a fair chance and that is in a reputable casino.
At some point you’re right. Casinos will never stop asking for another KYC verification unless they become satisfied with your identification details. Most especially if you have big unexpected wins, then always expect that the casino will keep an eye on you. Although I could say that asking for KYC is a must protocol for casinos these days, but sometimes we can’t help thinking that casinos would never want us winning, otherwise we will be requested again and again to submit another identification document and it’s certainly become a hassle for us.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 22, 2023, 02:56:41 PM
It's just part of the game as well, specially entering the NBA, there was a big hype surrounding Zion's name and that he will be one of the best in the NBA. But so far, we can say that's all a disappointment, specially now that critics is highlighting his failure with his injuries.

But the good thing is that he still has a lot of legroom to work and recently, we've seen his body transportation in the off-season and just like what most of us fans or non-fans of his are saying, he is now a monster and scary looking dude with all the muscles and we can only hope that it will prevent him from getting injured as he added muscle can help him from those landing and pounding he put on his body.

The problem with Zion now is more mental than physical. Physically, he can develop himself into a less injury-prone big man with the progress he is making. So, I hope people will not stop supporting him and will be more optimistic. This young superstar is trying to bring fun to the NBA, and we don't want to see him end up as a big disappointment. As long as he is still playing and trying to regain himself, he still has a chance.
I agree that the biggest problem that Zion currently has to deal with is mental problems because physically he is a young basketball player with a black and muscular body so it is impossible if he has physical problems.
After all, injuries are not the biggest obstacle for Zion to become desperate because injuries can still be cured, especially since he has pretty good fitness and still hopes to be able to win the NBA one day.
After suffering an injury last season, Zion has now transformed into a man who looks stronger so it is hoped that next season we can see him play and win every game there is.

Hopefully it's not just the hype that he will be a better player someday because eventually, he should be the one to pull himself together and be able to live with the hype, he just need figure it out how to get out of his current situation because the key is already within him.
You know, it is more impossible to think that he got no chance because just like you guys have said, he's still relatively young and his DNA doesn't match the description where he's already too late now.

1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: August 22, 2023, 01:31:42 PM

Of course not, even though I am in great need of money and way too desperate to win, I will never attempt to do that. Thus, nowadays gambling systems are more strict so you are just putting yourself into risk because your account may be banned or restricted and you don't want that to happen right? Just play fair and have fun, because that's what it should be about. But really, is cheating in gambling possible? I only knew about systems having problems and malfunctions but haven't heard of cheating in gambling.

Well...! is this possible in traditional online games? Not really, at least not in casinos that are established over time.

Perhaps some believe that since this type of cheating occurs in eSports games and there are even specialized pages for each game, they exist for traditional casinos and this is not the case, at least not in online casinos.

We never know if when will this kind of opportunity will be present in front of us, whether if it's traditional online games or sports-betting. The thing is, even if these casinos are much more established compared to the other casinos that just been around for a couple of years, the ones controlling them behind are still human beings, meaning, they are still bound to make some mistakes because that's what makes us human in the first place. Now, for the question, will you be taking advantage if a loop hole will be present in front of you? Or will you choose the opposite direction?
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 22, 2023, 01:04:04 PM
I particularly liked your point 4. Make the 24 hour rule. I think it’s practicable and if done right, could help put off unnecessary spending.

Irrelevant purchases often happen on a whim and most people tend to give in to those urges to buy what would seem then to be urgently needed.
But if you could just put off buying that item for a while, you would realize you don’t really need it.

That is a start to help yourself control from having unwanted expenses that might go over your supposed expenses in that particular week or month, it might be not that easy for the starters but that's just the beginning and just like what others say, beginnings are always the hardest and if you can go through that trouble successfully then you're already in for a much easier path because you now know what to do next.

24 hour rule is made to prevent us from buying what we want instead of taking only the priority needs and if you can survive that 24 hour rule then I guess that means that you don't really need that particular object that you wanted.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: August 21, 2023, 01:53:02 PM
If it happens two years from now when Canelo is in the twilight of his career then I'll go for Crawford but if this happens in May of next year then no doubt I'll go for Canelo as Crawford is just too small for him, I mean he needs at least 2-3 fight to prove his worth on the 168lbs division. I think he is just calling Canelo as this is a money fight for him of the latter took the bait.

And addition to that, it's too early to speculate, I might as well then wish for Charlo to win against Canelo if he is going to fight Crawford next.
But then again, if Canelo wins, this is going to be a big jump for Crawford at 168 lbs, and as you have said, he needs to fine tune his body at this extra weight as I don't believed that he is walking about that weight even off season, 154 lbs seems to be right though for Crawford.
And even if Charlo losses then he goes back to 154 lbs and governing bodies give him back his belt, then I will rather see that fight as they have a beef already.

I think that's why we are here in this very discussion in the first place, to discuss and speculate who would be the victor between the mentioned boxers.

In line with that, I think Crawford should make his debut at 154 first while Charlo and Canelo are still busy for their preparation before testing each other and to test if his body can still withstand any additional weights because jumping right away from 147 to 168 is quite a long-haul flight where it will leave Crawford so tired and slow.

About your last phrase, Charlo is no longer the undisputed champion at 154 anymore because in the same day of his fight against Canelo, he will be stripped of his WBO belt and Tim Tszyu will have that instead of his current belt, the interim champion.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 21, 2023, 12:54:24 PM
You should not gamble if you feel stressful whenever you gamble even if you are using own money. Gambling should be use for fun and you should stop if are already stressful in the game since it only means that you can’t handle risk. You don’t get the real purpose of gambling.

I understand about the pressure on playing using loan money but not all user here feel the same way because some user just need quick funds in crypto while waiting for their salary.
Why will a gambler utilized loan money for gambling in the first place, it absolutely makes no sense. Loans are taken for budgeting purposes, not gambling, and they have implications that we might never exist after encountering. Gambling with a solid mental balance will undoubtedly lead to gambling with an estimated amount of money, rather than the other way around. When it comes to gambling, we feel more pressure to do what we think is right, but we often forget that the chances of succeeding are 50/50. It's as simple as that: our results either result in profits or loses.
A gambler uses loan money for gambling because they are addicted to gambling and they also think that they can win something significant if they take a big risk without thinking about the negative aspect where one might lose everything instead of winning something good. I have such people living around me, they don't have any jobs, and their families are suffering from poverty, meanwhile, they take loans from here and there and gamble with it.

When they are asked why they do this, they reply that they thought they will get something significant if they take a bigger risk and gamble with higher bets, but what happens is what is always expected, losing everything to the house and then thinking about how to repay the loan since it has been lost.

They have thought it wrong because that kind of move is definitely not called as taking a big risk in the hopes to get big profits; that's not how it used to be. You should only use excess funds in doing this kind of stunt because that way, you'll be safer as nothing will bounce back to you if eventually you will be lost and surely, it wouldn't be a big deal because in the first place, it's an extra money where you can afford to lose. Borrowing money is just a shortcut to more debts.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 21, 2023, 12:43:40 PM
At this point there is no turning back for Harden situation, Sixers are known to be very good at trading and they have traded a finished and done Simmons for Harden and it turns out that is not going to end well for them but at the time it was a good decision.
Now what do they do? If they trade Harden, what can they even get for him? We all know that they can't get all that much for him, it is not going to be all that much possible for them to be getting great players, so do they just go get picks? If they go back to "the process" part it would be hard for fans to accept it, but to be fair they have two pieces that would be amazing for it, they could just send Harden away and get some good picks, and they could trade Embiid as well and get great picks too. Not only they do not have to get picks for those players neither, they could get players that can be turned into picks later on as well. So, it seems like they have a good base to go ahead and tank again if they want to.
If Harden could be easily traded, the 76ers management would have done it early in the offseason. So you're right that the 76ers are unlikely to get any acceptable offers from other teams because they probably want an equivalent trade, i.e. an all-star player. The problem is that there is hardly any team in the league that would be willing to trade its best player for Harden, who has been changing teams almost every year lately.
The same case with Dame Lillard, he wanted to be traded to Miami and up to know we don't know if Portland can do that or if they are really that willing to allow Dame to get out of the team.

And so it's not as easy as it sounds for star players like Harden and Lillard to be traded. It might take another team, a 3rd team to be involved here in my opinion. Unless the destination team is willing to give up a lot of their future draft picks and some current roster to be in that trade block just to get either of this two superstars. So it's a big sacrifice as well with them.

I think the teams which try to get these players have to figure out if it is a good idea to give up what they have to bring in these players. I actually do not think that this is a good trade-off. At least not if we think about the future. But one thing is true that if they do end up making the trade and bringing in a huge player like that, they are probably instantly going to get the results. That is probably not going to happen with the players that they have on the team. In future, they might be able to perform better. But that would have definitely taken time. So probably in that scenario, the sacrifice does make sense.

They will get instant result if the player they get is a team player and can easily adopt on management decision, but if the player is self centered one and has an issue of being a toxic player or a teammate no matter how good that player it cannot bring good result to the team. They might just waste their asset for releasing young players which have big potential. Sacrificing doesn't make any sense since just like what those other big stars done for sure they will leave their new teak if they don't like the result of their season performance.

That is given and a team that will acquire these kinds of players should be ready and expect that sometime in the future, they will leave them again and find a better team that they think is more suitable for them and can give their needs. It's not new anymore as the players in this era tend to be more selfish compared to the old good and gold era that players will try their very best to bring the team together and where asking for a trade isn't an option for them as that will just scathe their name.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 21, 2023, 11:47:41 AM
Anybody know of any crypto casinos that offer cockfighting? preferably vietnamese thai cambodian or filipino
Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia or the Philippines are countries that have quite a good culture of cockfighting In fact, there is a big championship for cockfighting and it is officially legal, so there are no restrictions on cockfighting, even though there are betting activities with the same amount of money big.
Regarding casinos that offer betting options on cockfighting, so far I have never found one at a crypto-based casino, but for several fiat-based online casinos, I already know some of the names of these casinos.
Cockfighting is an activity that is banned in most countries so it is not as popular as other betting options, cockfighting is considered more cruel by some countries in contrast to horse racing which tends to be classified as a sporting event.
Each chicken is given a small, sharp knife at the foot and the chickens are fought to the last point or die, so naturally not all countries allow it.

You probably won't find any cockfight betting options in the crypto casino industry.

It's not that usual specially if that specific casino is known and has been operating around the world, they will receive many complaints and possible suspension of their license if they will allow and host a cockfighting in a certain country where it's legal and then broadcast it on their casino where it will be betted on. In some Asian countries, these are common but it's not included in the casino because that's a different discussion, you watch it on cockpit colosseums in a certain schedule because these things don't happen everyday, unless if those are illegal because that's undeniable.
1378  Economy / Gambling / Re: Opinion on crypto casino project on: August 21, 2023, 03:57:31 AM
I've come across multiple posts where the original bitcoin gamblers regretted the fact that none of the crypto casinos are anonymous like they all used to be, almost all of them requiring KYC at some point of the customer journey.
I think this is a bit contradictory, since those decentralized platform have disappeared due to not having a large base of users anymore, as players migrated to centralized platforms. The complaints you heard and read don't correspond to a considerable percentage of gamblers when you compare to their total. Of course there are gamblers who care about privacy, so they would like to play anonymously, but they aren't a big group, and that is why main gambling companies aren't concerned regards this demand.
Just accept the reality that being anonymous will no longer be the main concern of majority of the gamblers, but the safety and security of their money when they want to gamble in certain casino platforms. So I guess conforming to KYC verification is not bad at all, except if you’ve given your personal information to those fake crypto casino platforms. And let’s just accept the reality that later in the future KYC will become a must if you want to play in centralized casinos, otherwise if you keep on wanting to stay anonymous, you might fall on scam decentralized platforms.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: August 21, 2023, 03:30:24 AM
The fact that someone could be jailed and still be elected president is a weird one. I mean not that it is impossible for it to be reverse as well, so I understand it. Think about it, if Trump was out, and someone else was in, like Biden for example, in that case democrats would vote for Biden as well instead of Trump, so do not think that being able to get elected from jail is bad for just one side, it could work out badly or well for both sides.

In the end, it is still weird to think about though, I wouldn't think in a million years that something like this would happen. I mean isn't there any other better republican? Is Trump really the best candidate that republicans could find? There is no single republican that could be better candidate?

this situation is not new in other countries. some are jailed and yet they can still run for office. i guess, it depends on how politics is being handled in every country. if you think about most requirements to run in politics, it is pretty much easy. so if they feel they can go around with the rules, they will, if they have the interest to run.

Absolutely. Being in jail does not deprive a politician to still run for its desired position as long as he still has the potentials and is capable enough to manage his people. If the country’s government allow it to happen, then I don’t think Trump or any other politician will have to fear being put in jail. If Trump finds himself in this case, then probably he might be following the footstep of a previous president Eugene Debs who still managed to get majority of the votes despite of the fact that he’s in jail. This is not new anymore, and I’m sure more of these future politicians will have the same fate.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real? That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play on: August 20, 2023, 10:00:04 PM

https://theafricanhistory.com/2975#:~:text=My%20father

That is how you lose on a great player like Mbappe when you are a corrupted country like Cameroon and many other African countries lose such star players exactly because of the same reason. Also in many other third countries in the world the same is happening and I think these type of interviews should have much wider visibility so those people who asked for money would be seeing how big these players become and stop doing it.I know that it is much more difficult to achieve because we are talking about poor countries but these poor countries should start to think bigger for themselves. It would be nice to see such a player playing for Cameroon, not that I don't like seeing him play with France.

Yeah this type of stories happen in third world countries and they lose valuable players who want to give all to the club or national team. The thread is bad. When you place money first in whatever you want to do then the best will elude you. This is appalling and the reason that third world countries struggle in football especially countries from Africa.

Those at the tops only care about their own immediate financial benefit and not care where the player gets to tomorrow with the myopic thinking that they have benefited from the player. I will still blame the government when it comes to corruption.
Yes. Whatever the attitude of these coaches, it will still reflect back on what type of government does this country had. The corruption is worst that will eventually lead to the deprivation of opportunities for some great players to be part of the team which for me is a sad reality. Not just in football but I also think this is also true with  some ball games. If you can’t give a bribe in the first place, maybe you will lost your slot in no time. And obviously, the team will also lose promising players in return.
