1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Highest in history on: March 08, 2022, 03:06:08 PM
For me now, the only problem I see with Bitcoin's price is volatility. With the current price of Bitcoin and you compare it a few years ago, it is really fantastic, the return is good if you really invested on cheap.
OP also got a point about ETF. Especially if you take a look at Gold, when ETF started in GOLD, the price of the GOLD has rally upside ever since. But for me now, even with or without ETF, it's good.
That's not going anywhere, I am pretty sure that it's one of the many beauties of bitcoin. Also, can't you like use the market volatility to your advantage? Like many people can capitalize on the prices suddenly going down by buying and then waiting for it to go up and then sell it where they get a big profit.
1362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: March 08, 2022, 12:34:07 PM
The price of $30k occurred in july or 8 months ago, since then the price has never been below $30k, the unique thing is when the price of bitcoin below $30k is a very large transaction volume, this proves that investors are really waiting to be able to buy with cheap price.
We don't know yet though, I mean that might just be a coincidence that it has gone up in transactions, also what if they know that they might be able to drive down the prices further just so they can buy bitcoin a bit more cheaper than the last lowest price? We never know what's going to happen next so as always, we should wait and observe.
1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: March 07, 2022, 01:38:03 PM
Bitcoin isn't at a point where the whole market is panicking, I think that we shouldn't worry about it going down anytime soon or even the recovery of it, bitcoin is still at 30k+ so I don't get why should worry about the recovery of it and we all know that when bitcoin pumps, those who wait the longest will be the one's that gets the most reward, that is if you're a hodler and not just an observer.
1364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: March 07, 2022, 01:04:12 PM
If previously many wanted to buy when the bitcoin price was cheaper then now it has arrived, the bitcoin price has dropped below $40k again and this is a good opportunity to buy, I'm sure a positive trend will occur soon and the price explosion will not be long so buy now then we will make big profits.
I would probably wait for awhile, I think that bitcoin is going to slip a bit more lower than 37k and I think that with the current affairs in the global economy, we might see more decline if not stagnation in the market. With the war in Ukraine, I think that a good news is going to take a long time before it will happen.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a means to restore people's authority over money on: March 06, 2022, 04:02:53 PM
Not a possibility for now, we're still using fiat for our daily spending for our necessities and the masses aren't that smart to be able to make sure that they become united so I don't think that it's possible for now to do this, and even if the former is possible, the greatest hurdle that we're facing is the people that have varying opinions to be united.
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People claiming themself satoshi on: March 06, 2022, 03:27:38 PM
I don't know what people think, but I've never been curious enough to see how mysterious it is. We all consider it to be a group and it is absurd for anyone to stand up and claim to be at the top of everything, imo.
And as far as I know, it's all of us.
That's just lazy thinking for you by saying that Satoshi is all of us, can you make it more cliche? I think that whoever is behind this massive project that we call the future of finances, their identity is highly detrimental to the development of bitcoin that they/he/she to remain anonymous all throughout so my take in this discussion is that we never should find the identities/identity behind Satoshi because it might be anticlimactic to the growth of bitcoin, let sleeping dogs lie as they say.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: January 14, 2022, 10:22:47 AM
I still pay for my daily stuff with fiat, most of my crypto are investments and I don't really like spending my investments because I know that I could get more profit hodling it or trading it rather than spending it. Plus, there's not a lot of places that I can use my crypto to buy my daily needs in my city so what can I do besides following the norm.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 13th Birthday, Bitcoin. You are a teenager now! on: January 12, 2022, 07:26:46 AM
I remember the good old days when Satoshi's identity was much more important to be found out rather than focusing on bitcoin, it seems that everyone really wanted to know who was behind this magic, I was one of them and luckily I stumbled on this forum where everything I want to I want to learn about him is available and along the way, I got tired of it and focused on bitcoin and I was happy that my obsession to find the identity lead me to riches I never thought I would have. Happy 13 years bitcoin.
1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: January 12, 2022, 06:28:19 AM
Bitcoin is really great and I always regret because I didn't hold and don't have capacity to buy and hold for long term because of daily needs.  I'm really struggling in my situation even though I want to invest and hold but I can't. Good for those with capital to invest and believe that bitcoin will grow more and more as the days goes by.
Don't be bad about it though, if you've profited out of those times then probably you did the right thing and it's not like you know what the future holds, if you did then probably you're going to be richer than you can imagine. That's the other problem, it's not fair for everyone. Some have the money to invest and some just don't have the money to do so.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed index. Don't time the market! on: January 12, 2022, 05:49:01 AM
I like the summarized type of chart where the index is seen for all time. I think the best way to get that in your head is to see the past happenings and correlate if it will be the same sentiment. So if you are thinking about buying Bitcoin, and then you see that people are fearful of it, then it's a great time to buy. I'm not sure if this would be a great indication, but you can still be profitable if you do it correctly.
Isn't that how that works, when the fear index is high, you buy more bitcoin and when you see that greed index is high then that's the time that you sell almost every bitcoin in your possession or any crypto that you have that has high greed index. That's how I am doing my trades recently and how I made some profit out it and so far so good for me.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Bank announces to support Bitcoin; says it's important to own private key on: December 31, 2021, 02:04:48 AM
This can cause a chain reaction. Banks from other countries will also join this game in order to keep up with pioneers like German bank. That's when the fun begins when other bank start making such statements at the distillation.
I can agree that a chain reaction might happen but our expected chain reaction aren't going to happen because some EU countries are definitely going to resist this one unless all or the most influential banks in each EU country would adopt bitcoin but if they're the big opposers then they will probably have a hard time.
1372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eagle FC to fighters in Bitcoin on: December 31, 2021, 01:24:55 AM
Is the 5.86BTC for each fight or is it for the whole contract because if that's the payment for each, that's going to be bigger than many fighters eventually. Although I would be cautious though because I feel like it's not a good idea that he receives all of his pays in bitcoin given how volatile the market is, he might be richer than other athletes and then the next he's not.
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: December 29, 2021, 09:31:18 PM
Don't think it's going to be enough, it's not like the lost bitcoin out there is big enough to cause scarcity, even if every person including children were given bitcoin, I don't think that it's enough and it won't last a long time in the hands of other people.
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is boring on: December 29, 2021, 08:57:06 PM
What's wrong with that though, I mean I am pretty sure that a lot of late comers to bitcoin market have that in mind and they aren't going to deny that, also why bother saying that bitcoin is boring when there's other crypto in the market that you can probably buy, they might not be boring to you.

1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China trying its best to get hated on: September 24, 2021, 04:01:11 PM
It's not that they intend to be hated, they're just looking out for themselves and that they want to be different when it comes to decision making, they do what they think is best for their motherland and for the party.
1378  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Map on: September 20, 2021, 05:25:52 PM
~
They're pretty useful but be careful though, it might ask you to gain access to your location and as a privacy loving person, I really don't like that. I downloaded Coinmap but there's no nearby ATM in my place and my country don't seem to have one.
1379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is the source of world evil on: July 23, 2021, 01:22:24 PM
Wrong! It's every country that has ever been in war that is evil and to a stretch almost every country is evil. Let me give you some example, Rwandan Genocide, Chicago Blacksites, Pinochet's Dictatorship, Manuel Noriega's drug fueled country, Mao's Great Leap Backward/Forward. These are some that I can think of that can qualify some countries as evil so I don't think that Russia is going to be the top dog.
1380  Other / Meta / Re: If Bitcoin crashes would this forum still exist? on: July 23, 2021, 09:01:08 AM
2018 happened and people in the forum are still about different stuffs and interest in the forum so I don't really think that this forum will go away anytime soon, maybe 50 years from now and the popularity of cryptocurrency wavers into obscurity, maybe that's the time that we will see this forum go down a natural death.
